Easy parking, grab and go breakfast included. Area where room is located is under renovation. Stairway is dusty. Door is hard to open; bathroom not totally clean.

Stinky smell

The place looks old and smelly, the front desk was friendly person but besides that I wouldn't stay.

The pictures of the property are not true. The rooms are old and dirty. The carpet is extremely dirty. The bathroom door in the room had a hole as if someone punch it. Not family friendly. The pool picture also deceiving.

The room was as clean as it could be, but everything was dingy. Water didn’t really get hot. Too much light filtering into room. Broken furniture. Outdated. Windows not sound proof as it’s right off highway. So everything was loud. I literally could not sleep both nights of my stay. Definitely not for family.

Ripped bed spread, room so stinky as soon as you enter. Probably smoking is allowed there., I didn't know. Bed was regular. Front desk person was helpful and respectful.

Booked a non smoking room and as soon as we walk in the room noticed it smelled so much like cigarettes I couldn’t believe they had the audacity to take a deposit and say if people smoke in rooms it’s a 100$ fee guess they don’t enforce that cuz the room was an ashtray and holes in carpets and handles missing on doors not to mention the brick of a bed we slept in

Staff were Polite and gracious.One evening I had a couple problems to bring to his attention. The TV guide on the Pizza Hut advertisement stand was providing bad / discontinued information. Example channel 29 was supposed to be the Lifetime channel. It was something in Spanish, not Lifetime. I took it to the desk mgr and he confirmed it was not correctly. He suggested I try digital channel 12.1, also not correct. Unfortunately he did not have a current guide in the office to provide me. Secondly, our TV Audio and Video were out of sync. We were seeing one channel and receiving audio from the next. He came over to the room and reinstalled/ rescanned the program list. I attempted to call him but the room phone cord plug at the wall was broken. He repaired it. One of our wall lamps also required a new light bulb, he replaced it as well. The hotel WiFi is not connected to the Internet and therefore USELESS. Very disappointing. Breakfast menu was minimal, Corn Flakes or Fruit Loops, Toast, OJ, Coffee and choice of two kinds of Danish pastry. The bathtub edge caulking needs replacing. Someone attempted to update it but it was a very amateurish job. It needs to be replaced due to black mold in the crevices and professionally repaired. The porcelain chip on the edge of bathtub could also be easily professionally repaired. A little TLC would make this a very reasonably priced room. It is close to the military base and suited my needs in that respect.

Room was old, falling apart, dirty, and musty. Really nice staff. Hotel is just falling apart. If you just need a shower and bed for a cheap price, it works. Room reminded me of deployment locations.

The phone did not work at all. The bathroom door knob had no guts inside so the bathroom door wood not stay closed. This means if you want to actually USE the bathroom, you have to hold the door shut the entire time. I mean, come on.

The breakfast was a joke. It has just few options. Coffee, juices, cereal and some bread. That's it.

The staff were very nice and helpful to me. Our room, on the other hand, was abysmal. So many parts of it were broken or falling apart. It was a convenient location compared to where we needed to go, but that’s really the only positive I can say about it. I know that I didn’t pay much for the room, but I just thought that I’d been able to get a really good deal. I was shocked and beyond disappointed by the state of the room we got. I recommend that you look elsewhere for somewhere to stay.

Stay, it’s worth it

Honestly, for the price and location you won’t find anything that beats this place. However, I found the room was a bit dirty. There was what looked to be either a toenail or fingernail in my bed but I brought my own blanket and made sure to shower and keep myself clean so it didn’t bother me all that much. The staff were all wonderful, I definitely felt welcome and I made friendly chatter with several of them. They also had breakfast available so my partner and I ate the toast and pastries offered. The beds weren’t comfortable at all, but once again, I wasn’t too upset. I already have issues with both my neck and sleeping so I can’t complain overly so. I do recommend bringing your own pillows and blankets but having a bed to sleep on is still better than no bed. Just do be prepared to have a sore neck a few days following if you have neck discomfort already. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place to others and go back again. The good definitely beat the bad. Do give this place a chance!

EVER, we got to this place around midnight … the lobby was locked the front desk staff had me check in through a side part that was a poor excuse of a concession area ( like a check cashing window) Dingy and dark. proceed to tell me our room is on the back of the hotel. let me set the scene; front of hotel packed to the nines all lit up cars everywhere we proceed to drive to the back of the hotel .soon as we turn the corner we are transported straight into a horror move it looks abandoned blinds ripped broken windows plastic material hanging in other and out the doors , doors padlocks on rooms we can’t find room he meant the back back.dark scary back .( all female party) SOLE occupants in the very back.we open our room and literally said “HE wants us to be unalive-ed”. It’s dark dank and musty A/C off. lights doing the horror flickering. walls painted a Gawd awful burgundy dresser ancient and broken,tears in bedding cigarette burns in other lamp shades torn, connecting room door handle in our room was missing ,ironing board looked like their was dried blood phone didn’t work, tv remote didn’t work It was late. After using about half a can of lysol We sleep fully clothed on top of the beds..on our own blankets didn’t shower wash face/teeth checked out and moved to another hotel.We couldn’t believe Wyndham would allow a place like this to display their name anywhere

Clean place worth 120 for 2 nights

Room was disgusting, ti the point that my husband killed 3 roaches. When he moved the bed to spray roach spray that we asked on from desk , we found trash. Bag if trash behind the bed. When I calle front desk to tell them how dirty and the roaches in our room he said that our room was cleaned. What the hell!! If that “clean “ for them , that is insane. We are traveling and we were so tired. I just verified the beds didnt have bedbug on it so I left the girls sleep while I was wide awake ion the look out fo roaches so they can get a lil of sleep. By 7 am ww left!

Ac hardly cooled, continental breakfast didn’t have much, pool was a little dirty, remote didn’t work for tv then tv would just shut off.

Easy access to highway

the hotel seems to be old and dated, it definitely needs to be remodeled.

The staff was very kind but the property was definitely interesting paint chipped and things dated and didn’t really work. For the free breakfast it was cereal and toast. We saw two cockroaches and we had broken and damaged furniture in our room. The rooms were really dark. Didn’t really feel secure. There was no bathroom door and the toilet was really loose. But the bed was comfortable and the room had good air conditioning.

I can tell that they are working on fixing up the property. The people were very nice and very polite. The rooms were nice, they were clean . The bathrooms, still needed work. The pool needed to be repainted. Was not tempted to get in the pool.

Very convenient for my trip. It seemed like there has been little done in maintenance. The small shop was excellently priced and the staff was pleasant.

Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean.

Price good. You get what you paid for. Sink was not working, Floor was dirty, there were fingernails on the ground. The place needs a facelift. Breakfast was just toast and fruit loops. Common area bathroom out of order.

Asked for room downstairs and requested i In my memo when I reserved the room was told none available yet that night room was empty downstairs never will stay there again

I ended up leaving the place because of how bad it was, it didn’t look anything like what was posted on app, i would never recommend this place to anyone.

Good stay. Hotel is old but for my needs it was a great stay. Check in person was amazing and friendly. Room was clean and the fridge was amazing.

We had to get a new key everyday because we were getting locked out and the continental breakfast was just cereal and bread to make toast with milk, juice and coffee.

this is by far the worst place i've stayed at , some of them lack on good customer Service skills , if they ask me to recommend a hotel i would never tell them to stay here its very dirty they give the worst vibe full of negative energy

Good price, nice water pressure, good pool. Our phone did not work, however, and the door wasn’t the most secure- my daughter and I could see a good 1/2 inch gap between the right side of the door and the frame, and it was easy to shove open even with the deadbolt in place.

Manager is so unprofessional Lisa is her name so rude when she talk to people unprofessional way to speak to a customer there better ways to talk to people she got no education at all never again ill got back to the hotel everything was ok but the rude unprofessional manager they got

Mold in the bathroom

It was a cheap place to lay my head & that is all, which worked only because I was alone. If my spouse was with me I would not have stayed here out of respect for my wife which cannot stand dirty, old & rundown properties like this one.

Absolutely horrible rooms were nasty holes in walls cigarette burns on everything. No ashtray provided for a smoking room. No coffee maker as advertised. Just horrible. Thought with the Wyndham name attached it would be at least decent I was sadly mistaken

Pretty beat down.

To start, i got a key that didnt work. Then i got send to a different room, pretty beat down, with a hole behind the door stopper that was not properly secured to the wall. Then, they put a $50 hold on my card, whuch was taken and i still have not gotten it back. I got there at 10:30pm, went to sleep, woke up and showered, and checked out by 6:30am. Not sure why they kept my $50. Literally one of the worst places i have stayed at.

This place is falling apart

This place is a total dump! Dirty outside areas, rooms are ugly, dirty, stained carpets, bathroom area can get you sick for just looking at it, moldy walls and ceiling, water leaks, holes in the ceiling, bathroom doors not aligned. The staff at the front office was nice but the rest were awful, house keeping will start knocking at your door at 9am, and to top it off, pressure clean right in front of your room in the early morning! I got two adjacent rooms and the experience was the same.

Very run down. Card key to room did not work several times. Towel was stained. Shower not clean. No one was at front desk when I arrived mid-afternoon.

The sheets on the bed were dirty, the bathroom door did not have a door knob. The overall stay was just awful

Days inn San Antonio

Booked because it was Days Inn. Need to patch spots on tub and clean up the rooms. Bathroom even broken in office.

It was ok, but if you didn’t have transportation there was only really 1 place to eat within walking distance

Our suite had mold growing around the vent on the ceiling in the bathroom; wall outlets were few and very loose (plugs tended to just fall out), and one of them was half-melted. The AC unit is quite noisy. Sound insulation is poor: loud birds outside start calling before dawn; in the late evening, there were obvious sex noises (loud female moans) coming through from some nearby suite. Continental breakfast is very scant (just some foul-smelling, bleached white bread for toast with packaged butter or jam; two basic choices of cereal with milk; and some superstore-bought individually packaged danishes); coffee is the only hot beverage available. Wi-Fi is wonky - hard to initially get connected (requiring multiple attempts, and retries; then won't stay consistently connected.)

The place was nasty! Smelt really bad with smoke, mildew and much more. Loud music all night long and smell of an illegal substance being smoked in the rooms next to me.

Horrible stay, bed uncomfortable, room not clean, it smelled like Dogs. Dresser falling apart, carpet lifted, bathroom looked to be kicked in. demanded a $50 deposit that was not on the website. Over night we smelled marijuana coming from one of the other rooms and it gave me a headache all night long I couldn’t sleep.

We accept the fact that we are thrifty travellers who don't believe in spending $300 for a room to sleep in. So far we have only experienced one other room that we can call a sh*thole. We try to get by spending $60-$85 and 3 star rated accomodation. Trust me when I say THIS place is a sh*thole. Pictures will prove it. Breakfast was exactly what others said. Fruit Loops, corn flakes, bread, and watered down coffee. The restroom was STILL "out of service" and chairs were flipped on top of the table. Read past reviews about the restroom being out of service and accept that it is not to be used. As others have said "save your money" because the staff don't care about making this dump "inviting."

Booked a room with 1 king bed. Arrived to the hotel and they said they ran out. Gave me a room with 2 queen sized beds. Don’t see how you can run out of rooms with king size beds if I reserved the room 2 days in advance.

Comfortable but broken

Room was comfortable but many things were broken. The bedspread had a hole in it, bed skirt was torn, handles missing on the dresser, chair am was broken, refrigerator was on but never got cold.

I like the staff but i didn't lime the bed. Very uncomfortable

I had two rooms, both of them were dusty everywhere, windows as well. Started sneezing just as I walked in, had to wipe tables and headboard as were covered in dust. We went out for a while after checking in and when we came back a stranger has our room because they forgot to check us in correctly and one of the rooms was given to somebody else. Good thing the guest was kind enough to give the backpack that was on that room to the people at frontdesk. Toilet was dirty, doors all beaten up. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

Stay was fine, choose this hotel b/c it was close to the main gate at Fort Sam. Definitely older hotel that could use a facelift. Clean and the staff was nice. I would stay here again. Was game most of the days so it was a place to lay my head down for the night.

I was put in a room at first that you couldn't even close all the way. You see outside with the door shut. Second room I was moved to had blood splatter all over the bathroom door, toenails in the floor, dust, and BED BUGS!! Atrocious. DO NOT STAY!!

This hotel coffee machine was not working for breakfast and there were just bread. The coffee machine and TV controls were not working in the room. Very disappointing expericence

it was a terrible experience! The condition of the place is very poor. Clogged bathtub drain, dirty toilet. TV not working at all, not even turning on. It looked like the fixes are done by the same guy at the front desk, very poor craftsmanship. So much lack of maintenance evreywhere

First room door handle broke. Second room couldn't even get the door open. Had to kick on the door to get it to open. Then went out for dinner and the card jey did not work when we came back.

Check in was at 3 but room wasnt ready until 4:30....also, the room was really rundown. No lock on the door, restroom door didnt even close either. Only stayed 1 night so wasnt a big deal but wouldn't recommend for a longet stay.

Although I requested a non-smoking, the room had a really strong smoke smell, especially in the bathroom. The overall room was clean and it was serviced on Saturday, which I appreciate, but still a bit run down.

It was absolutely disgusting. Door doesn't even reach to the door frame so theres a gap. I got a non smoking room but the person in the room next to me must have had a smoking rooms. Smoke came through my vents and filled my room with cigarette smoke. The place definitely needs renovated. The walls are peeling and stuff is falling apart.
