The room had a strong stench! Room 220 smelt like sewage

Really nice property. Staff was great, very friendly and attentive.

We were delayed in taking off. We had to rent a room for the night they picked us up at the airport and dropped us off in the am.

The only thing wrong with this hotel is that they have a sign at the front desk stating free breakfast & times. However, no breakfast was provided. They should remove that announcement.

Nice fot the price

The hotel looks renovated and clean. The receptionist was super nice and allowed us to check in about 2pm. The area looked safe and it was closed to the airport, Walmart, and restaurants. It was a great stay for the price.

Excellent service, but room was not completely cleaned- looked like blood splatter on ceiling and comforter was dirty.

The staff were very nice and accommodating with their shuttle service.

I didn't like having to pay a deposit. Money is withheld if paid by card and returned one or two days later. If paid cash, the room is inspected at checkout and deposit returned if the room passes inspection.

Overall stay was good but, the tv was set to mostly spank and the hair dryer didn’t work. Hotel needs a makeover.

This hotel advertises free breakfast and shows a picture of a full breakfast bar. When we showed up for breakfast all they had was 5 granola bars and coffee! When I asked the person at the desk about the lack of breakfast he said that was breakfast! We chose this hotel based on what was false advertising!

It was good, the bathroom had a strong smell. I don’t know if it was the cleaning supplies. The bed was comfortable.

Our room had a bad odor, crumbs on floor and chair, blood stain on curtain, stain on towel, and duct tape on the chair. The breakfast offered was a granola bar and coffee. Surroundings not attractive. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean.

My wife and stayed at this hotel a couple of time when flying from San Antonio, its close to the airport and the room and bathroom are clean, no extreme noise considering that the hotel is next to the highway and the airport.

The staff did what they could to make a stressful airline problem beyter, even at midnight. I would definitely stay here again.

For a budget hotel, this place was excellent. It was clean and quiet (after the airport settled down for the night). Down-side to its location is there are no food establishments within walking distance of this motel.

When I booked this hotel, the Expedia map showed it on the other side of 281, which would have been okay. But this was on East side and it’s a dump. The area around it is run down. The hotel has an overwhelming smell. It’s some sort of disinfectant smell that seems to be covering up underlying dirt. The door jam at the lock was bent inward like someone had tried to pry it open. The door locked but was loose and rattled. Light bled all around the door. The TV was tiny and the picture was dim. The entire room looked like it was from the 1970s. There were no USB plugs anywhere in the room. If I had to spend more than one night, I would have moved to another hotel.

Called expedia about airport shuttle, they assured 24 hour service. Hotel has limited hours. Expedia made a promise just to get my noney.

The hotel was very clean and service was excellent. Rooms are basic which is fine. Beds set up high so people with disabilities or shorter height would have a hard time climbing in. Not so comfortable. I felt the peep hole was to large. There was a gap between the door and door jam. Little uncomfortable with that.

I had a wonderful stay and everyone was really. I've. They were also very accommodating when I had to check in earlier than expected!

It's conveniently located by the airport and a parking garage. The place was extremenly noisy at nightime and durng the wee hours of the day as some one kept slamming a door on and off. The website stated "breakfast included" when it was coffee and tea only one morning plus granola bars the next one.

I have a hard time with beds, (bad back), but everything was very clean, including the pool. And they're very nice, respectful, and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Meh, go somewhere else

The guy who checked us in was not happy to be there. He was answering the phone and helping the callers after he had started checking us in. Having been a receptionist in the past, its acceptable to put customers on hold while you finish helping the client at hand. Our room was fine, especially for how inexpensive it was, as to be expected. They do not offer breakfast - just a granola bar - so this should be removed from their profile. I returned to the front desk to ask for him to hold a key for my husband who id a musician and would be arriving late. The same guy acted as if this was an inconvenience.

They denied a late check out. We forgot our toothbrushes They did not have any on hand and this property does not offer breakfast. Only a breakfast item and that was a granola bar.

Well maintained older building. Still has an alarm clock and phones. Good size room. Reasonably quiet even though next to airport. Very good value.

Dirty

Room was dirty and it smelled. When turning on air the smell was ugly and made a loud noise. Never again will i stay there

The guy who worked the counter was the least professional hotel staff member I’ve come across so far. He didn’t want to do his job, and it was quite evident! I booked and payed for the night beforehand, but wasn’t able to get to the hotel until early in the morning. The guy cancelled my reservation without calling me, but I still payed the price for the night, wasting over $110 . He refused to undo what he did, and played it off as though it was cool. I’d say what his name is, but didn’t see a name tag on him.

I had to wait for the clerk to show up so I could check in. Also, there was no free shuttle to the airport even though that was advertised on the Expedia site as such!

The "don't judge the book by its cover" applies here. Although the facility looks like your average budget motel-by-the-side-of-the-road outside and in the hallways, the rooms are actually a shocking surprise. They have been recently renovated. Glad that all the money went into the rooms - where it's needed the most - and not the exterior. Extremely close to the airport too, so it is convenient.

The room was in terrible condition: it was dark, the bathroom light switch was broken, the coffee machine malfunctioned and spilled boiling water everywhere, and the fridge didn't work and had a wet towel at the bottom. We put food in the fridge, but it didn't cool even after five hours. The desk chair was broken, and the height adjuster did not work. The pillow had a terrible smell, and my child found a worn cloth left behind the sofa. The nighttime staff was friendly but not very helpful, stating that the issues were minor and he couldn't change our room. The daytime staff was unfriendly and rude; when we reported our experience, she dismissively said she would check it out. Also, the parking lot is very small, making it not easy to park. You can find better options for the money. STAY AWAY from this hotel.

Apparently only one person works there and he does it all; desk clerk to shuttle driver. He was a good guy and I haven't any complaints about him. It’s cheap if you’re okay with a flop house in lieu of a hotel room. Interestingly, they offer “breakfast” but don’t actually apparently EVER have it and there is nothing within walking distance. Coffeemaker was filthy, so hard pass there. So, no coffee, no breakfast and the Wyndham name. Holiday Inn only from here on out.

I chose this hotel because it offered free transportation to the SAT airport, but the schedule is limited! The free shuttle starts at 6 a.m., so I had to pay 15 dollars extra for a 2-minute ride. The AC is very noisy.

Hotel can use and upgrade spots on some of the things in the hotel and that god awful pool
