Thought i reserved a room with a jetted tub (my hubby has a bad back) and was not given one and was told they were all rented (unsure if thats true however the hotel was under half full)

Found an earwig in the bathroom. Was generally okay, but i prefer a stay with a hot tub and pool.

Worth the stay

Had a last minute stay in Kamloops travelling back to Alberta from Vancouver island. Wasn’t looking for anything fancy as it was just myself and 2 of my crew for a very short stay and looking to keep the budget down with the BC fuel prices and our long travel. Staff was accommodating, zero wait times and the rooms were very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed plus plus for an amazing price.

Fast and convenient check-in and decorated for Christmas. Disappointing the pool was closed.

No towels in the otherwise clean room. Toilet tissue rod too small for fixture. Breakfast eggs were tasty but cold. Early morning smell of fried onions permeated hall and room.

Thank you for accomidating our pets, our room was convient to take pets out at night. Room was lovely and very clean even piloows smelled clean and fresh which is very important to me. Fige nice size and ee even had an iron and ironing board in our room which important to my husband and i. Thank you.

Was excited to stay here because the pool! But it was all shut down. I thought I booked a nice king suite but they said it wasn’t so that was disappointing. Our room smelled like someone was smoking in it most of the night and it made it hard to sleep. Bed was so stiff. And they put garbage cans at the very end of the loop around the hotel so you can’t pull around and that made parking inconvenient. It really wasn’t a horrible stay. Breakfast was good. But I would choose other hotels over this one in the future.

Clean rooms and good hospitality

Staff was friendly and serviced us well. However property is dated and maintenance is not kept up. Curtains were quits dirty.

You REALLY should update your sign outside because the property does NOT have a pool or hot-tub.

Being informed pool/hot tub was closed would have changed my mind on hotel with children.

The location is convenient and the room was clean. I would stay here again.

The room was ok, dated. Elevator smelled really bad. The parking lot was tiny and cumbersome. Area was quiet even with construction next door. The staff was excellent and friendly. Ok stay for the price.

Excellent value

The property is not easy to get in/out of to park with very tight parking spaces for guests. There was construction going on next door so it was loud early on and with the fences for that around the property it was not a great sight, it felt like you were at the wrong place. The room was clean but there was very random and well used kitchen utensils and other things in the kitchenette, definitely lacking in that area. Breakfast was limited but upon letting the front desk know about issues with the juice machine and needing more hot food, he went out of his way to not only fix the juice machine but serve us the drinks as well. He also made fresh got omelets and sausages and served those when they were ready. The property needs TLC but the staff we dealt with make up for it. For the price, I would come back for sure. The front desk person we had deserves a huge raise and appreciation for his efforts.

The WORST HOTEL EVER!!!

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room had a bad door, hair on the sink and bathtub, the paint and furniture was marked up everywhere, no closet to hang clothes, gross stains on carpet, towels that had holes in them, sink was dripping, sketchy parking lot. I would give this place a 1/5. The only good thing about this property was the gal at the front desk. Her name was Dee. Ahe was very nice and personable. This property is a total dive.

Our TV didn't work , Hot tub and Pool not working, staff was nice but didn't fix our problem of the TV and didn't have another room the same to move us too. No compensation for these things a discount would have been nice.

My only concern was the payment machine would not accept my credit car. Desk clerk could not accept cash. Called my financial inatitution and they said no declines show on my account. Spent ao much rime on this and donally was allowed to go to my room. Was late for my event. Breakfast omlets were dried out. Everything else was great.

There was a leak in room 200 the family room! The bathroom fan had water leaking all night and morning. We told the front desk and she said she would fix it in the morning. We told front desk again in the morning before we left. There was also a foul smell the first day we got on the elevator to the second floor to our room. We probably got used to it before second day as we didn’t smell it.

The front desk staff were very accommodating to my family over Canadian Thanksgiving. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was well maintained. Only draw back is there is construction in the lot next to the hotel which will cause some eventual noise, but nothing that disturbed us during our stay.

It was a good experience.

Walkable to downtown centre

All in all it wasnt bad...soap in the shower was empty and waste bins only have bags changed not bins whiped out.

I called to aks if there was a handicap toilet and they saumid yes so I booked the room but unfortuantely the only grab bars were in the bathtub. We made it work but a little challenging. The front desk staff was aleays nice.

Small parking but then there is construction beside it. Reception was great. Room is excellent , nicely laid out and large. The one night stand was dusty.

This hotel has no sidewalks or green space. You have to unload your vehicle onto a one way road which is dangerous with kids and pets. Our bathroom had hair in the sink and the tub drain. I specifically asked to pay with my debit upon arrival but they charged my credit card the morning of arrival. There was also an additional $50 charge once I got there and they also charged me an additional $30 pet fee. This hotel was absolutely not worth the cost with the additional $80 added. We will not be staying here again.

Comfortable bed and average room. There is a lot of construction next door that starts very early in the morning. Parking is limited. Staff nice.
