Great local motel

Not so great

It was very dated and subpar. There is a car wash/vacuum station right outside and we could hear the vacuums going for hours. There was a huge gap in the door. Tv was tiny.

The property was outdated and Continental breakfast look like they had the food out for a few days. Not good at all

Property was in good condition, staff was nice, and room was good.

Clean and basic to rest & go.

Thin walls and could hear my neighbor snoring, very little offered for “breakfast.” Four containers of yogurts, 2 cold cereals (fruit loops, Frosted Flakes), coffee & waffles to make.

Quiet

There is no hot breakfast. We never saw a pool. They tried to charge me 20$ for a pillow they claimed I had taken from there room which I didn’t not. We left a day early. The shower makes a loud squealing noise and the ac is loud and turns on and off all through the night.

Nice clean room

You get what you pay for. Want a nicer place to stay? Pay a little more. The place was fine but could be nicer with a little effort.

There website says the whole facility is non smoking and after checkin at 9pm after a 12 hour wedding, and the only room available even though we had reserved a non smoking room, because they were all supposed to be, the room was filthy. It smelled so bad we had to wash everything we brought into that room and shower to get the smell out. Smoke, mold, burns IN the bathtub and on the toilet!! And the chair was so dirty you could see the Tabasco stains…and what looked like grease! The cleanest thing on that room was the ashtray!!!!! Never again don’t do it sooo gross!!!

It was OK

Beds are firm.

Not going to take a shower. Bathtub not so nice. Room was OK. Just needs major updates/paint. Not a lot of options for breakfast. Waffle maker only, dry cereal. Some very ripe fruit. Hard sandwich bread.

Breakfast

This hotel needs a complete renovation. It has a stale smoke smell and the bed sheets and towels had stains on them. Didn’t even feel clean when I took a shower.

Clean facility, rooms updated and clean.

The noise was all through the night! Pillows are small so added pillows we be better the bed just no absolutely not it needs a new mattress. Blankets and sheets were stained and written on.the workers you rarely see and when you do it’s like they’re annoyed. Their was no breakfast

Good for an overnighter

We needed a quick clean place to stay and this fit the bill. It’s in walking distance to food and a gas station with good southern snacks. Breakfast in the morning is very sugary but there’s coffee!!! Great place to sleep for the night.

Good Stay for the money

Staff was polite. Continental breakfast left lots to be desired. I advise going across the street to McDonald's for breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.

So close to stranger things town

The young man that checked us in was very sweet! The room was nice, but the hotel is on the older side. Good for one night stay!!

This is the most disgusting hotel I have been in. I am demanding a full refund. You should be shut down. Nasty, dirty, leaking ceiling, plumbing doesn't work

The Days Inn was on the main road, easy to find. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was a short drive to the wedding site at Indian Springs park. Guests were friendly and considering the weekend, no problems. I noticed and liked the boot cleaning stations with brushes posted in the room entrances. This is a working person's stay, I felt comfortable. Several of the wedding party stayed here. The location is reasonable walking to gas, food and pharmacy and a bank.

Shower either scalding or cold. Bathroom in much need of repair

The restroom didn’t have a working fan, the door to the bathroom wouldn’t stay closed unless you held it shut while you used your other hand to wipe your buttocks .

I would recommend this place to anyone

Loud people outside our room all night

Quiet clean and friendly

Property improved since I was there a few years back. It was clean, comfortable and the staff I came in contact with were pleasant and helpful. This small town needs this property and it is in a convenient location. Please don’t let it get run down.

Property was some what run down, flooring was in bad shape and plumbing was bad. Bedding did not have bed pillows only throw pillows that you would find on couch. Would not recommend.

Old But Comfortable

Everything was comfortable. It is an old hotel but everything comfortable. The floor needed a good cleaning but everything else was fine.

Close to where we were going the next day

I wanted to check out early but there wasn't anyone working the counter. So I just left my keys on the counter and left. I wanted a receipt, but no big deal.

The property was definitely NOT Days-Inn quality. When I arrived, I needed to add a traveling partner's name to the reservation in case I was out when he arrived. The "Manager" refused to do so stating "We can't change pre-paid reservations". I wasn't asking to change anything, I just wanted to be sure that he could get a key for the room. Also, I needed to leave something for another guest, at the front desk. The "Manager" once again refused to provide service to give me an envelope to leave at the desk for the other guest. Definitely NOT a Days-Inn quality of service. Never going back.

Only in town for one night, but would recommend this hotel to others!

The staff was excellent. I was not feeling well and the housekeeper helped me load all of our bags, she went way above.

Lots close by, recent updates

Run down. Only hot or only cold water. No mix. Cheap Vinland floor coming up. Little sound proofing.

Clean and pleasant place to stay for a small city. Staff completely unfamiliar with area, parks, lakes, rivers, public office locations, and were not readily available at the desk-ring bell and wait. Suggest that a simple city map be made available to guests at checkin with points if interest and dining area.

Room was clean & updated for the most part; served the purpose for a place to sleep & shower for the night.

Property wasn't bad. A few things need to be fixed but overall, a good place to stay.

Breakfast not diabetic friendly

Breakfast was very carb heavy. For diabetics that need more protein and fruit their was no protein and limited fruit.

Stay was good though motel has no space in of itself. It was clean and convenient. The toilet seat in the bathroom was the cheapest plastic and should be upgraded otherwise the room was fine.

Not good

We arrived at 8:15pm with a prepaid stay. The website said pool was open until 9pm but manager insisted it closed at 8pm. There were a large group of very loud cars and people partying in an adjacent parking where the police had to come several times between 10pm and midnight. In the room above me the person stomped around until 4am! Not much sleep!

Well for a 2 Star motel it was fine

Unsafe Dump, Barely fit for the Roaches

This hotel is DANGEROUS!!!! For starters, I listed to electricity short circuit inside a light fixture held together by tape, yes tape. The moldy, mildewed floor that had been separating was being filled with clear gloppy glue and was soft everywhere we stepped. The bathroom was nasty. I won’t even go there. This of course was after I finally even made it to the room. After specifying handicapped accessible, and being put on the 2nd floor with no elevator. The first floor was already full, and by the looks and actions of clientele. Plus the cop cars in and out of the parking lot all night, to upon waking and seeing the cop cars sitting at idle in the parking lot. There are only a few reasons why cops sit and burn their time like that, and not because they are lazy as their cars are monitored. They are sitting somewhere to monitor for crime. This place is a dump. When we complained upon checkout, they said that since we paid through hotels.com we would have to take our complaint up with them.

Updated well but ilder property, clean but could be better.

About as non-family oriented as they come! We were there for a wedding 3/18-3/20 and to say I am upset with our decision of where we stayed is an understatement! All 3 families that came to stay there this weekend had children and they pretty much weren’t allowed to do anything. I am not naive that kids can be a little much and would definitely agree with people if I saw or heard my kids acting a fool. We were on pins and needles all weekend from laughing too loud at 5pm on a Saturday to throwing football being a liability in the back end parking lot that was empty. We even made jokes with other people staying there asking if they had gotten in trouble yet which they answered yes!!! Unbelievable and unless you are trying to get a feel for a retirement home that is nasty as hell….DO NOT GO HERE!!! Also bring black socks and wear at all times otherwise the bottom of your feet will be stained for days! Floors were awful!

Overall great hotel. Everything was clean friendly staff. Easy check in and check out were very easy

I had no Wi-Fi, regardless how many times I signed back into it, I was still kicked off. I had planned to work while staying there but wasn’t able to connect long enough to get anything done. That really is my only complaint.

Construction housing

Paid for a non smoking room. Don’t think they exist there. Stale smoke smell was so bad had to buy a candle to mask it. Our cloths and person items smelled like smoke the next morning. Not a pleasant stay. Room next door had the tv on all night.

Room was clean and had modern conveniences. Would stay there again if the need arised.

i was a little worried about this stay. but the hotel was clean the staff was helpful and our short stay went by without any issue. i would definitely book again.

Nice Stay

It was a very nice stay. Room was clean and service was good.

They assumed we had smoked in a non smoking room. If they see the cameras they will notice no one did and still charged me a fee. I believe they find a reason to charge. When I spoke to first person he said it didn’t smell like anyone had smoked but because we threw away packaging the owner, I guess said we did. Which is a lie as my child has asthma and can not be around that.

Met our expectation

Everything was good except the towels were not well cleaned (residue of make-up on them) and the floor was dirty.

The staff was nice and the whole process was easy overall. The biggest complaint was that the hardwood floor in the room was pretty dirty/dusty and not sure if it had been swept or cleaned prior to our stay.

Good for the price. I was pleased.

Nothing fancy but for the low price it was nice & clean on the inside and out. I had no complaints on my quick one night stay.

We stayed at this motel because it was close to family. We were very disappointed at how dirty it was; the loud music until 4 o'clock in the morning, plus the AC didn't work properly.

They was a smell in the room I had to buy Lysol and the there is a sign on the room wall with a different price then what I paid

All-in-all, a very pleasant stay. Was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room (thank you). They need to work on "contactless" check-in. I pre-paid for the room expect to provide a CC and ID for damages, but why the clerk needs to physically touch my stuff seems to be unnecessary? The parking situation was a bit un-nerving too as the only spaces available were in a very dark, isolated portion of the property. We had to park at an adjacent business who had signs up for their customer's only, so was worried all night about being towed. Being towed was definitely preferable to being robbed or having the car stolen if parked in the dark portion of the lot...

No elevator and my room on 2nd floor. I am a recovery surgery patient was told to avoid stairs if I could. I managed, but it was difficult. Room had no paper or pens, directories to places to eat etc::Water came up around tile in bathroom and toilet seat bolts were almost completely off, so seat moved around on you. I would tell any one I know to stay far,far away from it.

Pleasant staff

Somebody broke in my apartment.

Not sure how clean the jacuzzi tub was but hey, we all know what we sign up for!

I wish the shower head was taller or at least ajustable. Im 6'2" and i jad to lean over just to wash my head. Also i wish the pool had been open some days were very hot. It would have been nice to take a dip in the pool. Had to drive about 45 minutes to find a place to swim.

The rooms were dirty and unclean. Had to wash filters inA/C unit. Bathtub was dirty with a ring around it. Pillows were smelly and inside long black hairs. Had to sanitize everything.

The property was old, run-down, & dirty. We booked this stay because it had a swimming pool, it had free breakfast, & it was close to the location of the funeral we were there to attend. First off, we get there to find the pool is closed. Big disappointment. Next, they put us in a smoking room with a terrible order. Breakfast was poor - no orange juice for 3 days, brown bananas, stale fruit loops, etc.

Customer service very rude

The room smelled clean. The staff were ok. Someone was feeding a stray cat. The people above were fighting. They were in out the room all night until 9 am. There was spiders in the corner of the ceilings. The wood floors were nice but filthy.

The lady working the lobby was extremely nice and pointed us to several restaurant options, telling about the food at each and whether or not it was good. Pleasant attitude, friendly, and a all around helpful lady.

This hotel was so disgusting; there was black mold in the bathroom. I literally left and found another hotel . I couldn’t get my money back but I didn’t care . It was that bad

I like the wood floors. I think they are much cleaner than carpeting. We liked that the breakfast counter was kept open all day. Very convenient for late risers.

The jacuzzi tub not included!

I got this place JUST for the tub. Glad I called to check AFTER I made reservations of course. The hotel said my reservation was made through a 3rd party in that I needed to call the 3rd party to fix my reservation to get the Jacuzzi . I waited on Hold for an hour and 30 minutes with the 3rd party, Then they told me I needed to call vrbo. I called verbo and waited for Another hour to talk to somebody I spoke with somebody in they said that it was fixed in I needed to do when I checked in was say that I needed to have this number Room and there was no charge. I called the hotel back to confirm and that Was not the The case so I had to call verbo back wait for another hour and I ended up having to come out of pocket more money to get that Room. After I was already told by verbo it was fixed and everything was ready for me to check in with no cost. And then the next phone call was there's nothing we can do for you after out already planned my entire trip.

Very good stay at this Hotel

This hotel has been renovated. The walkways, parking lot, lobby and room 210 were very clean.I have only stayed at days inn few times over the years, usually in more rural areas as this was. This wasn't the best maintained and cleanest Days Inn I have been at. New beds and linens, refrigerator, counters and bath with surround. I will say the finish caulking and they missed patching small holes around the bathroom switch. The obvious unprofessional caulking, and tile grout ruined the new/clean look of the updated bathroom. Overall was very good experience staying at this days Inn. Front desk attendant, maintenance and cleaners all very friendly and provided great service.

The walls of this property were very thin, we stayed with our two kids, we could clearly hear the people above us up late and were woken up to our adjoining room (which we werent staying with) playing music at 2am, amongst other things i didnt want my children listening to, we left property at 4am.
