It is close to Frost Bank Center. It was not the newest place but was clean.

I was traveling to watch the State Championship in San Antonio and was unfamiliar with San Antonio. Walter was great with the check in process. He was very friendly and attentive. The property was right off of I-10 so it was very convenient but sketchy area. The tub was terrible. The microwave did not work so I had to warm up my food in the lobby down stairs. Walter came up as soon as I called to see if we wanted a replacement. If you need to make a quick stop to lay your head for the night without showering, this is your stop. You get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting much so I would give it a 7/10.

When I called for directions, Walter asked for my name and was so efficient and pleasant in preparing our check in before we arrived. Our room was excellent. No issues at all to be seen. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

You get what you pay for. Smells BAD, elevator is OLD and stinky. My room looked like it was under construction. Beds and pillows are so uncomfortable. There’s apartments all around it, felt unsafe. I would never stay there again.

Manager upgraded us to a large room with a double queen and a king bed; I'm not sure of the reason. The king bed was in a separate room that was locked, which was not a concern as it was not needed. The room was large but had no furniture in the breakfast/dining area, which made it look unfurnished when we walked in (first impression). The queen bedroom looked somewhat updated, but the mattresses and sheets looked slept in, as if the beds were just made and not cleaned. The mattresses and sheets looked old and well-used; this may be the reason for beds looking slept in. AC worked great and breakfast was very good. Over all the room served it's purpose for a one night's stay but was way over priced for the condition. This motel will not be on are list as a first choice for future stays at the Frost Bank Center.

Walter is great!! He is always friendly & checks the parking lot frequently. I really appreciate all the lights in the parking lot.

Front desk Vin was so nice and accommodating. As were the rest of the staff. Only negative is the toilet paper was very hard.

Walter at the front desk was very friendly and informative. Room was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast was ample. Staff was all friendly.

Staff was not helpful and unfriendly. I asked if we could check in early at 1;30 instead of 3. I was told yes I could, and then charged $25 more for it.

Close to the stock show, property and room clean, bed very comfortable. Second year we have stayed here. No coffee maker in room this year.

Weekend trip

Had a great experience, especially that they offered a reasonable price for an early check in. Will be my go to place for when I have to visit San Antonio.

Check in process was horrible. They threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn’t pre authorize one night by 3pm on day of check in, even though I booked through Expedia and picked pay at hotel. Hotel looks nothing like pictures. It is old, rundown, and not super clean. It also smells terrible in lobby and hallway. We will never stay at this property again.

Staff was very polite and respectful,area at first seems shady but it wasn’t bad at all only complaint shower tub looks like it needs to be replaced looks very old but overall we enjoyed it close to frost bank that a major plus!

The staff was excellent especially Walter the front desk Host. He was apologetic when my booking was changed inadvertently. He made sure to accommodate us exceptionally well during our stay. Super helpful and tremendously polite.

Nice people at the front desk and around the property. The room was fine. The noise throughout the property and directly above us until 3:30am...not fine. We had to be up at 6:40am for a football camp and my son was absolutely wrecked. (so was I) This property DESPERATELY needs to invest in some type of sound proofing or deadening because it's crazy how bad sound travels. We were on the third floor and whatever the heck is between the 3rd & 4th floor might as well be plywood. I've never stayed in a hotel with a worse sound issue than this one. It's brutal. Good water pressure, good hot water, no toiletries of any kind other than a little bar of soap and a little bottle of shampoo. Kitchenette, mini refrigerator, but no coffee maker. Didn't love our stay....

Really enjoyed our stay! We were surprised by the size of our room, it was bigger than we expected. Everything was clean and working. There were nice grass areas for my dog around the back parking lot which was enclosed so I felt safe waking around. Breakfast was great. Service was great and everyone professional. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay at Days Inn again!

3 days and 4 nights - November 2024

Very convenient if you go to see a concert. Staff very friendly. A special thank you to Alicia who helped me to figure out the bus routes. My room was big and cleaned. Basic free breakfast very appreciated as Coffee and tea free refill. Free wifi For a first time in San Antonio and even Texas, I enjoyed a lot, my short stay

First put in a room that the door would not lock either way. Changed rooms and then listened to running and moving furniture from 930-230 and called desk. After appx one hour the child apparently ran out of energy. Not a great night-the last year visit was much better, the reason we booked again

The room smelled like mold. I turned the heat on and it smelled like it was burning. Breakfast was cold. The only great thing about the stay was the front desk person named Walter.

Booked here based on the overall ratings. It wasn't that clean. Hair in the sink. German roaches in the bathroom. Weird brown leaky stains on the side of the mattress cover. And it smelled really rotten.

We heard about 6 shots not far from here. The complex and staff are great. Walter is great with people.

Front desk night agent was amazing

The front desk attendant was very nice. The room wasn’t very clean and some of the towels had stains and hair on them. There was also an odd smell when you walk in.

Smells

We stayed here to go to a concert at Frost Bank Center. The location was very convienet for the venue, but the hotel grossed me out. It smells really bad. It hits you right when you walk in. The rooms look ok at a glance, but a lot of things were dirty. The tub was gross. They covered the brown stains with a white cover, that didn’t cover the hotel. When we got back from the concert, we seen a cockroach. Parking is free. I would stay somewhere else next time.

I liked that it was very close to the Freeman Coliseum and Expo Hall. Hotel staff were proffessional, helpful and courteous. My only problem was my room always felt humid. Most likely and AC issue. Other than that I enjoyed my stay

Perfect stay for an event at the Frost Center Bank. Staff was warm and friendly each morning and check in was a breeze! Breakfast was hot and they offered a variety of egg and meat variations daily along with the Texas waffles, yogurt and breakfast pastries. Rooms were clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend a stay in the future.

Adequate, but not for someone with allergies

Windows dont open and the rooms and the hotel has a funky smell. Maintenance on ac units not up to par.

The price was right! The rooms were clean and the Walter (front desk) was awesome!! The only reason that I didnt give it five stars was because the breakfast wasn't that great. The gravy was very watery. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Simply put: not a 8 star hotel at all

Simply put this was not a 8 star hotel. We almost cancelled our room when we got there because it was in such a bad neighborhood. The only reason we didn’t cancel was because the front desk person, Walter, was very very friendly and likable. Room smelt bad. Stains on the walls and in the bathrooms. I was pretty embarrassed that I chose this place to stay at. But the only reason I chose it was because hotels.com gave it 8+ stars.
