Dan Panorama
Love staying at the dan panorama. A comfortable stay. Checked in early which was a pleasant bonus. Staff were friendly. The only downside was the drilling but they were doing maintenance . Excellent breakfast with an excellent selection and fresh.
The staff is amazing and so is the food. Do not advertise Air Conditioning when there isn't any. I need it for health reasons and even though it is technically the "winter" season it was over 78 degrees in the rooms. It is ancient to not have each room have control of its own temperature. There is also a lot of construction happening and NO outdoor areas anywhere. I get that the pool is closed, why not have outdoor areas open? doors to the outside were locked. There was also construction by the front door that was a safety hazard and no one to help with bags at all.
Homeland visit
Room was comfy and clean. Mattress and Bedding were good. Breakfast buffet was abundant and excellent.
Staff really worked hard to make the stay great. Wonderful pool area.
the over all stay was enjoyable however the security, seem not to believe me that i was staying in the hotel. also missed a day with the pool as they closed it one day 2.5 hours before closing time.
comftable but dated
I recently stayed at Dan Panorama and had a generally pleasant experience, but there were a few areas for improvement. The staff were exceptionally polite and always willing to help, which made our stay more enjoyable. The pool and kids' pool were great, providing a fun and relaxing environment for the whole family. However, there were some downsides. The breakfast menu was the same every day, which became repetitive over our stay. Additionally, there was no air conditioning in the elevators, making the ride uncomfortable, especially in the warm weather. The Building is a little dated . Overall, it's a decent hotel with friendly service and good amenities, but there are a few aspects that could be improved.
somewhere in the middle
Overall, it was a nice stay, but it's disappointing when you realize you're paying Hilton prices without receiving that level of service. Check-in I was fortunate to have a fast check-in since I arrived at night. However, during the day, people were waiting for around an hour to check-in. Parking Parking is an additional cost, which seems typical for a Tel Aviv hotel. However, it's available to the public, so when I arrived, I was told there were no available parking spaces. Food Breakfast was served, but there were no significant changes from day to day. For some reason, I just didn't enjoy most of the cooked food. other the fresh eggs, there is nothings else being made fresh Room We had a pool and sea view room. It was a decent size with a very nice view, though the room is starting to feel dated. It's still okay for now. Pool The outdoor pool and kids' pool were really nice, with a food and drink bar available. We had one small incident with security before entering the pool, where they only stopped my family to check our bags. It felt racial, but we chose not to take it further. Overall, the staff were nice and helpful, and the place was kept very clean. However, it's not on the level of a Hilton or David Intercontinental, so you're paying too much for what you get.
all good
.
Came with friends...Great location. Excellent service. We were especially impressed with Chaim who is involved with guest relations because he came over to us when we arrived and remembered our stay at the hotel in the past. There was a lovely Succah for the holiday where we had our breakfast and everything was there for us. We did not miss a thing.
Nice place. Has it all.
Good hotel, needs a bit of renovation. Especially parking area.
The pool was INSANE with people and there is no one there to help organize or make sure you can get a seat… no one is cleaning up the area IF you can find a chair. I found the front desk very understaffed with little patience or interest in helping us. The building is old and in need of repair and refreshment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Every thing was good But there was an awful smell of sewage in the rooms
It was a very pleasant hotel. The reception was pleasant, the room was clean and homely and the breakfast was generous.
The hotel property and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Amazing breakfast and close to the Carmel Market - known as the shuk. Ask for an upper floor as they tend to be quieter with less families and more executives.
Dan Panorama
Hotel is poorly maintained. There was stained carpet, the fridge didn’t work.
Nothing like the hotel pictures that were shown on Avion. The carpet was dirty, mould behind the bathroom door. Coffee was instant with no creamers or anything. No view like pictures showed, smaller than pictures showed….horrible!
This was a great location! We were able to walk to everything and have a view of the ocean! The concierge and desk staff were extremely helpful for restaurant suggestions too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Good hotel
Nice hotel good view from the room to the ocean very good location near the beach and close to Jaffa. Comfortable room
We left after one night of eight we booked.
Disappointing
As regular repeat visitors to the hotel for over 20 years usually at least twice a year have to say the hotel has gone backwards big time - executive lounge a shadow of its former self - same with breakfast
My stay was good but this property is in need of some renovations. Little nuisances like closet doors that don’t slide or key card entries that don’t work are plentiful. Otherwise it was comfortable and clean. The location is good and so is the value.
Staff unhelpful. Room dark dingy snd freezing cold they had to put a radiator in. Bed hard uncomfortable Shouting in hallways Breakfast room crowded hard to get any food
The hotel is located in a good area, within walking distance from points of interest. But it strongly needs more care about cleanness and service. The staff shows no sympathy or good will to attend you. Some of the breakfast attendants were almost rude… The entrance of the hotel was full of garbage for the 3 days we spent there. Don’t worth what it charges.
Great view from balcony of the beach. The front desk people were kind and helpful. Rooms could use an update but are good size and very comfortable
Very disappointed in the behaviour of the staff at this property. Extremely dispassionate about helping, from front desk to lounge. This hotel is substandard.
nice to be near the ocean.
No airconditioning in the room. Staff never informed. Poor service.
The hotel is in a privileged location in front of the beach, from where you can walk to many points of interest in the promenade or to the nice neighborhoods around. Service is incredible, Mr Chaim at the restaurant was extremely kind and charming, as well as personnel at the front desk and concierge. We had a great stay and definitely would consider this as a top option for a future visit to this amazing city.
Yes
Very nice hotel
Clean
Very Friendly People. Great buffet breakfast. Nice Pool. Right on the Promenade. 15 minute walk to everything( Jaffa, restaurants) Went just behind to Shabliz street. Very nice spot full of shops, restaurants and a very good vibe.( 8 minute walk) Have Fun
Rooms quite nice. Good excellent. Concierge very useful. Shopping guy grumpy and greedy.
Very pleasantly surprised thst the hotel allowed me to check in at 10am for my room. Concierge was very helpful.
I like location, walking distance to the beach and entertainments
Better vegetarian food and enjoyable stay
First time staying back at this hotel after Covid. Not much has changed post-pandemic apart from the hotel cutting back on the food in the dining room. Overall experience was good and the kids enjoyed playing at Danny Land. Vegetarian food options during Shabbat and yom tov meals- tofu option at one meal and a pasta dish at another. For £100 a meal it would have been nice for there to be a hot main course (tofu was cold). Swimming pool- pool was much under the shade. Kids pool, as well as bigger pool would have been more comfortable heated, but not many are heated in Israel. Staff- overall nice and friendly. Especially Oscar and the lady at the coffee station. Thanks for a lovely holiday!
Good location
Good hotel in good position. Rooms need an upgrade. Bathroom was tired. Mould on ceiling and balcony needed a clean.
Good stay
Staff is not alert nor helpful No ones anything or do anything Rooms don’t get cleaned daily. My husband and I had to complain every day for 8 days that we stayed. Old hotel and not well care
Great location.
Nice hotel big pool good area Delicious food
The property is very outdated and the staff is no very helpful.
This review is for the Dan hotel and not the Dan Panorama which became a coronavirus treatment centre. liWe ked the location opposite the beach. The breakfast was excellent and the waiter was wonderful. We didn't have a plug for the bath and waited half an hour and after 3calls we finally got it We definitely think that when you go to a hotel and pay relatively high prices- you shouldn't have to pay 70 shekels for parking as well!
The hotel was pretty in a great location. The stuff where unprofessional, and slow. My room was not made until I complained at 6:30 pm
Hit or miss
The Dan Panorama hotel is ideally located if you intend on taking any day trips with "Tourist Israel" as the drop off point is a 2 min walk from the hotel. The breakfast has a huge selection and the rooms are fine if a bit dated. The reception staff is very hit or miss, we had some lovely conversations with staff but we also had some very difficult one's. My friend's credit and debit card did not work anywhere in Tel Aviv so she asked the hotel if she could withdraw cash using her card from there. A female staff in the day said it was fine, then when she actually came to do the transaction in the evening we were greeted by a very angry receptionnist called Dan who basically just spoke to use like idiots. We had to ask the duty manager to come and help and they were very pleasant and helpful. This hotel has everything you need and is very pleasant to stay in, it is a shame that a small amount of staff can be so unhelpful and rude.
I felt pampered!!!!
The staff was amazing!!!! Checking was so easy and staff so friendly, room was clean and had all the extras, breakfast was great with an extremely attentive staff, restaurant was yummy with the best waiter we ever had, car was available when needed!!!! We were very pleased!!!
Partial peek-a-boo view of the Mediterranean. Don’t know if you could call that a sea view
Great location Great hospitality Wonderful breakfast
Location is great. Staff friendly. Rooms are nice. Bathrooms need remodeling
The breakfast food was less than optimal. The halls were not vacuumed daily. Rooms with an extra bed were quite crowded.
Great hotel a bit dated but clean and comfortable.
High cost for low budget room
Need to upgrade rooms. 400 usd executive Suite which was terrible. Also you have to pay 20usd for parking per night not worth it
Very nice location walking distance to The Old Town of Jaffa (around 20 minutes) as well as the traditional Carmel Market. The price of this hotel quite expensive and some of the amenities quite old.
The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, great food, close to many things.
Dated bedroom and bathroom Swimming pool in the shade for most of the day in October Breakfast is poor, not changed in years and food is not tasty

Nice, clean room with very good breakfast and other meals available.
Excellent hotel. Enjoyed the breakfast, pool and the service. The checkin was a little slow because of the large crowd coming in but the service people were excellent. Beautiful view of Mediteranean Sea from the balcony.
Ehh
Everything was mediocre. Difficult, extremely unpleasant check in. Would not stay there again.
Worth Returning To
Hotel is in a great location with good views of the sea. Amazing breakfast. Very good service. Plenty of amenities.
Nice stuff, great location. Shower is clean, but the half glass shower door is not enough - the water spills out and the floor is wet after shower. The breakfast was good, but you have to wait to get your eggs and the coffee.
Very good service
We were upgraded on arrival to executive room, thanks to “reji” in the stuff that went out of she’s way to ensure we were given a great room with a fabulous view and she did us our anniversary
Classy hotel next to the Mediterranean
Great location. Room had a sea view, as expected. Plenty of amenities. The room initially was a bit cold b/c of only one temperature on the AC and no blankets but the service was excellent. That problem was resolved. Plenty of amenities and the breakfast was exceptional.
The concierge was such a big help. I feel this is great value. And the rooms are nice and clean
No assistance with luggage
It was a good stay. Next time if the hotel can provide Bell boys to help us with the luggage will be much easier . It is wery difficult to go truw the door with luggage. We ask for assistance to the front desk many times all so to, the concierge but they where busy doing nothing!
We had 3 rooms and were welcomed The location was perfect would come back and highly recommend it!
Good but over priced
Ths is a good functional hotel but it orobably is over hyped.Tel Aviv just charge whatever tbey feel like for a hotel and tben double it again. Tbe room is clean but needs upgrading. An ok hotel but needs modernising.
We stayed in this hotel as we were part of a group attending a wedding having stayed here last about 30 years ago . . We were assured we had a ‘super deluxe room ‘ the room was small and and like the rest of the hotel very dated and tired looking . . The staff were nice and helpful and the breakfast was the usual Israeli buffet which was ok but not great . Hardly any staff in the dinning room and cappuccino from a machine which you had to get yourself and which was not very nice . Needs a total refurb to compete with all the newer hotel options in Tel Aviv .
לא היה תאום בין הבקשות המיוחדות לחדר שהוצע וכדי לקבל את החדר הרצוי היה עלינו להמתין כשעה נוספת.
Might want to rethink it...
Our family just spent 5 nights here. We paid top dollar as it’s high season. I think you can find better value for your money. To note: rooms need an overhaul (even “renovated” ones) ; the kind of carpet you wear your slippers on, showers flood the bathroom floor, musty. -people were smoking on our floor, and partying till the wee hours of the night in their room. Hotel seems to have a 4 warning policy which is difficult when you have children trying to sleep next door. -breakfast was lovely but watch out for the water/lemonade/juice taps- the water comes out smelling like sewage. -outdoor pool was great but unfortunately we were there at the same time as a rowdy bunch of other guests (who brought their own music) who seemed to get to play by their own rules. The lifeguards are constantly blowing the whistle if kids with floaties are in the deep end or if people are on each other shoulders, or smoking in the pool. These rules did not apply to the partiers. Clearly the lifeguards were intimidated by the partiers but we all had to sacrifice our pleasant family pool time as their were too scared to implement their policies across the board. There should be a system put in place when these things escalate and the lifeguards can’t handle it. -our complaints fell on deaf ears; we wasted time trying to connect with mgmt to have our issues acknowledged & receive any compensation for the letdowns of our time there. Too bad as I’d prefer to leave a positive review.
The staff is rude and stupid and the property is not well maintained. It is dirty.
Clean and comfortable room Excellent facility and great food
Awesome hotel but awful beds.
Excellent hotel all around expect the Mattress and Sheets! Mattress was hard as a rock and the sheets were rough.
Location was good. Room was lovely. Did not love the restaurants
The staff and the food was amazing. The hotel is old and dingy definitely a 3 star and no more. Carpets are dirty. The bedroom balcony door was broken. Pigeon poop all over the balcony.
It was a good hotel for our purposes. Unfortunately, we are heavy users of WiFi, which was very spotty in our room. Cut out frequently when we could get it. I was surprised that the service was operating on 3G and not something newer.
The Panorama Dan is fine
It was fine, not great, not bad. The place seems a little run down and the rooms are a little dark and small. The management tries very hard to please. The breakfast is delicious.
Wonderful Stay at the Dan Panorama
The stay at the Dan Panoramic was really special. The care and attentiveness by all the staff was noteworthy. The area within walking distance is filled with cafes and shops and restaurants and is really fun to explore. The pool area was wonderful. We felt the experience was overall very special, and since we need to return to Tel Aviv at the end of the trip, we shall return to the Dan.
Hitel in great position for Neve Tsedek area and Carmel Market . Really friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool Good breakfast. Fab food i. The Lobby
The position of the property being on the beach / tayelet.
bad condition in bathroom
Property was OK. Nothing special. Food excellent and room was comfortable. Swimming did not open till April - disappointing. Can't use spa facilities/sauna without paying for them. You would think as the hotel costs so much per day this would be free.
I loved my stay here. Can’t wait to come back!!!!!
Not bad - not amazing
Good hotel for work trips or for a base to explore from. The rooms are nice and bed is comfy. Breakfast is fine but nothing special. Hotel bar has a pool table but not much atmosphere. Other hotels are closer to the beach but this hotel is an easy walk to Jaffa. All in all, it's perfectly fine.
Stay at Dan Panaroma Tel Aviv
The hotel was very nice and quite comfortable. It is right on the water and the views are fantastic. There are some restaurants in the area but if you walk a bit you can find lots. I would return to stay there again.
Excellent front desk service
We had a front desk representative, Ralph, who went beyond the call of duty. I forgot my bathing suit that I needed for the Dead Sea at home and Ralph took us AFTER his shift to the outside market to die is where the market was. He was professional and absolutely funny and was great with the kids!!!
Pleasant stay
Room with a seaview is a must ; makes such a difference Shower was the best Bed incredibly comfortable
Tops on the beach.
Three big shout outs for the staff at Dan Panorama, First Ralph in the lobby is awesome he is the Barn Boss and has everyone's interest at heart he goes out of his way to make sure you are happy. Secondly Albert in the restaurant is walking around and greets all incoming guest with a smile and a handshake and makes sure your coffee cup is always filled. Lastly Yansi, the Concierge, will set you up with life remembering trips and we thank him for that. Now the Hotel, it is centrally located and five minute walk to world famous Carmel Market, rooms are clean and plenty of space for our family of three. Store in the lobby sells snack items and souvenirs. The Beach is out front and across the street and gives a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfast spread has western as well as Israeli foot and is plentiful. You can book a free city tour of Tel Aviv thru the Concierge. I plan on returning again soon.
Hotel is looking a bit tired and the bath was very difficult to get out of. The hand grab felt loose. Have stayed there many times before. It was very cold in the room and could not get it warm enough. We complained and they offered to find some heaters. This is not suitable in a large hotel. Also while eating in the bar area everyone had their coats on.
Excellent hotel
What a great hotel. Room was great, very clean, bathroom large and modern, staff outstanding. Food was excellent. Great location by the beach easy to walk . Great place to stay.
i came for just night. it was very close to the place i went next day
Stay away
They actually charge extra money for spa services!! Swimming pool closed at 5 Everything is extra payments! Overall just not worth it
DAN PANORAMA TEL AVIV -SHAME
WHEN i ARRIVED THERE WAS NO MINIBAR AT THE ROOM(5* HOTEL) . I asked for a small frigidaire on a very warm day, and i was told that I have to pay extra. On the leaflet beside the bad it was written that all the rooms in the hotel got minibar. If I WOULD KNOW THAT BEFORE, I would not come to this hotel. there were no even ICE.....it is A SHAME!!!
Overall, nice property but it’s obvious that it’s not new. Pleasantly surprised with comfort of our room.
Very average.
Concierge knew little about the area. Reception seemed disinterested when I asked for a change of room. Flies everywhere. Weird smell on 7th floor. Great breakfast though
Good hotel in a terrific location!
Our first stay at the DP. The staff were very helpful and polite. Your Bellhops were charming. Breakfast was a feast and the beds in the room very comfortable. The wifi was a complete pain in the derrier and kept dropping off. Our children who were in the neighbouring room 1107, had no problem with it what-so-ever. The shower was amazingly forceful - I loved it!! The air conditioning worked a treat. We stayed on the 11th floor and had wonderful views. Apparently we were in a refurbished room. Don't know when it was refurbished, to be honest it needs doing again. Everything seemed a little tired and dated. The grouting in the bathroom definitely is in need of a touch up (Room 1109). Please refurbish your restaurant - it's drab and very tired looking. Breakfast was a positive voyage of discovery, with a huge choice and delicious tasting foods. So much choice and everything so fresh, although I did think the fresh fruit selection very poor. The only thing not out of a can was the melon. For the money we spent, I'd have expected a little more luxury. That said, we had a wonderful stay and would consider staying again. Big thank you to all the staff.
Worst service I ever experienced in a Hotel. One day the Hotel forgot to clean my room. Another day I left the room for a few minutes , leaving the “Do not disturb” sign, because I left my Safe open with jewelry & money out, only to return and find the maid inside my room when I came back. When I needed a cab I was sometimes told to go to the street and hail a cab myself. The telephone in my room did not ring and I missed important calls.
