Very nice and clean hotel. Will stay there again if we are in the city.

We love staying at Crystal Inns and usually have a wonderful time. The night front desk employee, Kevin, was beyond rude. He probably shouldn't work in hospitality or customer service.

Clean, friendly staff, and comfortable.

I like that the property accommodated us and our group so that we could all be on the same floor together.

Pet Friendly - Not Really

The facility is certainly acceptable. However upon check-in, I was totally surprised by an additional pet charge of $100, which is excessive and exorbitant. Why doesn't Hotels.com include pet pricing in their quotes?

They heavily used air fresheners. So much that it aggravated my asthma.

We stayed here for a Heart Concert at the Maverick Center. It worked so well. We walked across the parking lot and we were there

Ol Reliable

We checked in fast and walked into a room that smelled strongly of cigarettes. I don't think it was the room I think there may have been someone smoking in the room next door but we asked if we could move and they were happy to help us switch our room. It was very appreciated. We have stayed here many times and will continue to return.

This place is great. Loved it.

We were here for a concert. The hotel was in walking distance. So, after the concert we were back in our room while cars were still trying to get out to go home. The room was great. We would stay here again.

Decent room with breakfast in a very convenient location.

Lumpy beds and unclean rooms

The room appeared to be clean until we got in the bed and there was a blood stain on the sheet by the pillow. The bed was super lumpy and too soft hurt both our backs. In the morning I woke up with a strange item stuck to my neck and it was a used bandaid not from me. Discusting. Found random long dark hair under the bed covers not from us. And to top it all off, we had to leave early at 5:30am so I went to the front counter with 24 hour front desk clerk to check out and no one was there had to yell to see if someone was in the back and a guy that appeared like he was sleeping rubbing his eyes came out. Also the walls are paper thin you can hear everyone talk, move, or anything else they are doing. Not a good night sleep for us. Would not recommend. The only nice thing was it was really close to the Maverick Center for our Rock Concert.

The hotel is clean, room was very nice, staff was friendly, and it was very convenient for us to be next to a venue that we had an event at.

Overnight Getaway

The room is comfortable but we had extremely noisy guests directly above our room. They stomped and bounced balls from 4-6 PM then again from 10;30 - 1:00 PM. Sounded like a few younger children without supervision. Therefore the ratings we gave. It would be nice if the hotel would upgrade to nicer tv’s.

Beds are old and hard. The whole place is very outdated

Below average breakfast!

Breakfast was horrible. I think they just reheated the breakfast from the day before. I got to breakfast midway through the breakfast hours and everything was old, hard and crusty. We didn’t even eat. I had to cut the scrambled eggs with a knife. Come on, do better!

Excellent. Crystal Inn was clean, kept in good repair, newer room furnishings and quiet. The included breakfast was a cut above the usual hotel breakfasts.

This was a great experience and at a very affordable price! They even gave me a free tool to clear snow and ice off my rental car. My only recommendation would be to have bigger coffee cups to cut back on returning to refill your cup.

Good location, close to airport

Very lovely place to stay. My only complaint is the beds are so soft there hard to get out of. Beside that everything was excellent swimming pool and hot tub was amazing not cold and not to hot. Definitely will be staying there again.

This was a very spacious room I was not expecting! Very nice and comfortable; great staff and very clean. This rates up there with the high class hotels!

I liked everything!!

While the hotel was clean, it was still outdated. The room I stayed in the knob to the fridge was broken making it difficult to turn on and adjust. The heater/cooler unit did not seem to function properly to the temp adjustments but it did work just took constant attention. The TV sound wasn’t loud, I had it turned up all the way just to hear at a normal level. The toilet ran several times an hour which was really annoying. The free breakfast was ok. The sausage patties were so incredibly overcooked. They offered iced coffee which I thought was really great but the cups were infant size and no ice made available. You had to clean your own table which was fine but had to scrape your food off the dish and then place it in the bin which was kind of awkward because no staff was there no signs telling you what to do. No signs posted anywhere for breakfast hours I had to search the website. The fire alarm randomly went off which was incredibly ear piercing and no one told us anything until I called the front desk to ask what noise that was. They charge you at check in a deposit for amenities and what not but when I went to purchase items like snacks from the small store I had to pay for it up front instead of an option to charge my room. Overall the stay was peaceful, we had no major issues everything was minor and we enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again.

We went to watch a hockey game at the maverick center and this hotel was right there less then a 5 minute walk to the front door of the stadium. Pool was indoor so we got to enjoy it even if it was super cold outside. breakfast was okay but there are other options in the area

Very grateful for the shuttle from the airport, not many hotels offer this outside of the vicinity of the airport itself. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. The hotel was quiet, and I had a nice stay. The room was clean and roomy. I would choose to stay here again. The location was off of 215 and there wasn't any traffic noise. It's an easy access to get to various areas of Salt Lake.

We stay here when we visit family in UT. The staff are helpful, the students indoor pool is warm, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. Micro and fridge in each, nice desk for the computer. Easy to get in and out.

The room very pleasant and smelled wonderful. Enjoyed the fact that the hotel was so close to the event center. So close we walked instead of driving.

I liked that there were no pets. I don't like staying at hotels with pets. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was great. I would stay here again. The staff was efficient and friendly. I would also recommend to friends.

They need better cleaning

Great option for the night before flying out!

We stay at this property very often. We usually love it here but this stay was different. Our bed had hair all over it as if sheets weren't changed. Upon checkin the front desk took a while to come to the front from the back room. The parking lot in the back where we parked was covered in ice and was slippery. Salt was only thrown right by the door but not on the walk way or road leading to the walkway. Our tv kept freezing and glitching like the connection was bad which sucked because it was superbowl sunday. Only plus this time was the breakfast was good as always.

Property is clean, convenient to restaurants, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

I stayed here 6 nights and didn’t have any problems! Housekeeping and front desk were attentive and helpful any time I had a question. The full breakfast bar was delicious. I will stay here again!

What's that flash?

The only thing I would want them to change is the new alarm system. The sensor in the room has a flashing light on the ceiling. When you pull the drapes the light will brighten the room every 30 secs( yes, I counted). They were kind enough to give me a sleep mask, but I didn't use it. To fix the problem place a piece of duct tape over the pin hole sized light on top of the sensor. Problem solved.

Clean and large rooms. Great hot breakfast buffet. The hotel looks and smells clean and even though it is older- they take great pride in keeping the hotel clean and looking nice.

Great breakfast was the highlight of the stay.

I have stayed at Crystal Inn in Midvale. The reception is 100 percent better than at this West Valley location. My wife and I were almost ignored. At the Midvale one, they provided us with a complimentary bottle of water and something else at the reception. At this West Valley location, it felt like a cold reception with barely a smile to give.

Clean and friendly

Our stay there was great! The room was excellent and was very clean. That is always a good thing! Tasty breakfast and friendly staff at the front desk. AAAA++++

Beautiful hotel.

The juices at breakfast were watered down and NOT drinkable. Others complained and were told there was nothing they could do.

The hotel was great everything was good except one little thing that stuck out the juices at the breakfast bar with watered down. If I book again and I'll always remember this hotel was great at that one little thing that made me change my mind.

We appreciate the convenience of parking at the hotel and taking the shuttle or Lyft to the airport.

You need to contact the front desk for an airport shuttle, once you find the number you can arrange for pickup. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and comfortable our room was. You will be happy with this hotel!

The employees were so accommodating with offering the airport shuttle to take us to the car rental located at the SLC airport after our stay. The lobby was decorated so nicely for Christmas too. The rooms were clean and comfortable beds, not sure what more you could ask for when booking a room at a hotel. I consider myself a picky traveler and this was truly a great experience!

Hot tub is very small and was bath tub temperature. Had adult guest in his underwear in the hot tub and pool. Very noisy upstairs guest it was like they were doing a remodel.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit SLC. It’s really convenient for our friends and family and also easy to get on the freeway to downtown, Park City, and point of the mountain. The service is great and the rooms are quiet. We have a fridge and microwave in the room. The pool is clean and warm. There’s decent espresso a short walk or drive away.

Not as advertised. Place is dirty and very noisy. Had to clean my toilet and the ceilings looked like they were molding. Very old entertainment system. Breakfast was about the only great thing here.

We stay here here often for little staycations for my son. The pool is always well kept and clean. The room is always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good as well. I like that checkout is 12pm. Most hotels are 10am-11am

Nice property, close to dining and entertainment

Just what we needed

We only stayed one night as we were driving to Moab but the hotel was in a great location, very clean, had a courteous staff, excellent breakfast, easy parking, and was perfect for what we needed. I would stay at Crystal Inn again and definitely would recommend to my friends. 5 stars!
