A very reliable hotel with reliable prices

Great and friendly staff. Showed us Swiss hospitality with chocolates upon check in. Sweet of her. It has everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay here, although the room was small it had everything we needed including a few English tv options. Breakfast was nice, and the location is great only took 8 minutes into central Zürich on the tram. There is also 2 supermarkets one a 5 minute walk away and one 10 minutes away. There is also food options along the street. We would stay here again and the pool is nice but is open to people with a membership so is busy a lot

We enjoyed our stay, but found that the pool and gym are not accessible to children. Which was a shame as my daughter and I love to swim. The manager did pay for us to go to an alternative swimming pool, but this was a 15 minute commute to and was not what we had expected and less convenient. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The heating was set very high in our room which took me a while to realise. So we steamed the first night.

There is major construction in front of the hotel so do request a room facing the back. They actually start being noisy around 7:30am! Otherwise great rooms and a fantastic gym and pool facility.

the room was smelling very bad. the sheets were not clean, we asked for changing the sheets and at first the ey did not accept, after our strong objection they changed only one of them.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking to stay between Old Zürich and New Zurich!

Great stay

room smelled a bit (like poop, not smoke). gym doesn't open until 9am on weekends, would have been good to know in advance. neighborhood isn't near Zurich HB trainstation and it's not the nicest neighborhood. breakfast was ample. lobby is nice.

Customer service was excellent. They were so courteous and kind. Facilities were excellent and enjoyed the restaurant where the staff were also so courteous and kind.

Great place to stay while in Zurich at a reasonable price. Amenities at this hotel were superb. Including a full size gym and fitness club, pool, hot tub, sauna and relaxation area. Breakfast was 29CHF so take the included option on booking for less as the breakfast was fantastic. Staff provided free breakfast on our last night. Some of the most friendly staff I met in Zurich who were able to assist with everything. 5 minute walk to tram station which takes you downtown in about 15 minutes.

We stayed in that hotel only for two night and we had to change our room twice due to broken shower, broken air conditioning.

Stayed for one night en route to Vienna by train. Therefore I wasn't able to take full advantage of their amenities. However, all the processes went smoothly, staff were efficient and friendly.

Great Staff Tricky Parking

The staff was quite lovely, kind and helpful. They also spoke English for us. The garage is a bit tricky. The driver must take a ticket up to the hotel staff to get validated. Once a driver exits, take the same ticket to leave the garage and swipe the same ticket upon the return instead of taking a new ticket. Repeat this process with the same ticket when the driver exits/enters. The parking elevator is different than the room elevator. The gym/pool/hot tub has a different elevator. The breakfast was amazing! So many selections and a gorgeous setting. The hotel itself is far from the main city. We had to drive into town.

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the experience. The restaurant downstairs was very good too.

This was a great hotel in Zurich that had everything we needed. Friendly staff who kept our bags when we arrived early. There is a very nice gym and indoor pool with hot tub and sauna that is fantastic. There are several public transportation options nearby and a grocery store close by. The room itself was perfect - spacious, clean, nice bathroom. Would highly recommend.

Short stint in Zurich

Check in was rough. There was a woman who was busy with a client and a man who was behind the desk. Neither acknowledged my presence for 3.5 minutes- the woman was busy so it was understandable but the man should have at least said hello. When I reached the front desk, the woman was nice and professional. The checknout process was the opposite experience. The woman who checked me out was friendly, professional, and able to make a connection with the customer so that my final perception of the facility closed on a high note. The room was small but perfect for me as I was traveling solo. It was clean and well equipped. The slippers and bathrobe was a nice amenity. The a/c worked well which was much needed as the temps hit high 80s. I liked the security of the elevator access. The location is out of the city but only 15 minutes to the city proper so it was fine with me. It would be nice if front staff explained how to get about Zurich, especially as Zurich doesn't provide a free transportation pass like Geneva and Basel.

Friendly staff with the exception of one housekeeper who was extremely rude when I asked for clean towels. Walking distance of the public transportation. Wish the AC could be colder.

Everything was excellent except the carpet floor in the room was old or discolored, with lighter spots and everything thing needed a solid round of dusting.

Good place to stay for the price but requires a tram ride of about 25mins to get close to the city center which passes out the front of the hotel. Otherwise a great hotel modern and very comfortable bed.

Crowne Plaza made our stay in Zurich first class. I highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely stay there again when we return.

Great property, in a great area and fairly close to Old Town and other areas. Definitely recommend this hotel if you have a rental car or using public transport.

The Crown Plaza in Zurich is decent…The staff is nice and welcoming. The common areas are clean/modern and plentiful. The beds are comfortable. My problems…The rooms are old, completely outdated. Stains on the carpets, aging bathroom fixtures, TVs that don’t work or intermittently (why can’t housekeeping check these daily?). And the biggest problem and something that is advertised on every website booking this hotel, THE POOL IS NOT PERMITTED TO KIDS UNDER 16! This is absolutely something that needs to be mentioned at the top of the hotel description. I even mentioned how excited my 5 y/o was to play in the pool and no one told me that he wouldn’t be allowed.

Coming from a previous disaster of a hotel experience, I might’ve been inclined to rate anything I’d consider just adequate as excellent. However this was wonderful.

Very disappointed with this IHG hotel standard. A 4-star hotel that 1) doesn’t have a fridge in the room, 2) room air conditioning is very weak (wasn’t able to cool the room below 23C), and 3) no ventilation in the bathroom (which might be the reason there is black water stain/mold marks on the bathroom ceiling.

Lovely spot!

Very kind staff, comfortable bed, gorgeous grounds. We would definitely stay again. The bus stop is right across the street and the panorama card provides free use of the bus.

Paid for 4 star... hotel is 2 starat best. Everything is dated. The hall ways smell of stale smoke. The ice machine missing the scoop-unsanitary. Room are small and dated. Shower head needed descaling, one of the windows missing a handle. And what kind of 4 star hotel doesnt have a fridge in the room. Hotel 6 had them and they a 2 star at best!! DON'T STAY HERE IT SUCK. We wont be staying here ever again!

Big modern property but not in a convenient spot to explore Zurich or the rest of Switzerland by train. Rooms were also to hot as air conditioning to not allow to cool enough.

Hotel is fine but need an upgrade

Worst check in by the reception staff named Sameh (Racist) Firstly, we stood for 5 mins waiting if the person named Sameh will checked us in but he ignored us After finishing his no so called busy work, he asked us to come forward for check-in and he didn’t have the basic courtesy to apologise for the wait. Then he tried to check us in but the eftpos machine was not working for the deposit ( which we understand and it can happen anytime with the technology). Then he moved to the other desk without telling us anything and his colleague asked us to come forward and he helped us to check-in. The colleague was amazing and he apologised for the inconvenience though that was not his fault. The guy Sameh heard us when we complained to his colleague but he still didn’t have the courtesy to say sorry. I believe it was more to do with our race and I found this more as racism as I found the guy named Sameh laughing and very friendly with the other customers. Manager called us and tried to offer us with the drink to calm down the whole situation which we declined. Won’t recommend this racism hotel.

Reserved our rooms 4 months in advance. Come 6:30PM, on our check in date, the rooms were not ready. When we did get a room, it smelled like mothballs.

The room was small but otherwise the property sufficiently comfortable.

Dirty room.

Clean but uncomfortable room

The room was good. There was some foul smell in the toilet and Air conditioner was default set at 23-24.5 C, which was quite hot for us. There was no fan in the room.

The facility was clean and inviting. Good location. Breakfast was awesome!!!

ROOMS QUITE SMALL. AC WAS NOT ADEQUATE. ROOM HOT AND STUFFY. A PORTABLE FAN WAS REQUESTED. 2 SLEEPLESS NIGHTS DUE TO AC NOT SUFFICIENT. VACATION CUT SHORT BY 5 DAYS DUE TO THE AC ISSUE.
