Overall it was good. We enjoyed the hotpot dinner. The seaview was a bit far.

The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with many choices. The staff are super friendly and professional. The location is convenient as there are many buses which can take you to many spots. I definitely recommend it to others.

Family trip to Zhu Hai

Family trip to Zhu Hai visiting a relative. The restaurant manager Lucy, is outstanding and very engaging and helpful. She took time to listen to my complaint about their restaurant staff and service at dinner. Concierge staff was also very helpful and welcoming. Located nearby seaside park and beach/boardwalk which was great for walking and jogging. The pool was nice and refreshing, gym equipment could use an upgrade; yoga room was excellent. Overall a very nice stay. We were glad our room on the non-smoking floor really was non-smoking unlike so many hotels in China. Highly recommend this hotel.

Although it’s a bit far away from the Gongbei area, it’s well located to access the seaside and the beach if you are brave enough. ;) Either the room, the restaurant and the service, all are first rate in this now Crowne Plaza Hotel. The food is absolutely delicious. A place to remember when visiting Zhuhai.

Decent hotel, a bit dated.

Hotel was being remodeled during my stay. Construction work would start at 9 am and not end until 7 pm. Though management tried to keep the noise down, I could still hear some of it in my room. The air conditioning in the room was a bit flaky, and proved tricky to turn off at night. This bugged me a bit as I did not care for air-conditioning when I was sleeping. Breakfast buffet was good, though the oatmeal was decidedly thin and watery. The shower was one of those affixed to a fixed pipe, i.e. no flexible hose attached. This shows you how old the hotel is! All that said, I am sure after the remodeling is done (by end of 2017, I think), the hotel would be fantastic. The location of the hotel is certainly unbeatable. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

This is our "go-to" hotel in Zhuhai. Clean, comfortable, and easy to get a round. The only reason I put 4 stars, instead of 5, is that their breakfast buffet was not as good as it used to be. Selections were often empty, and it took a long time to refill, the cook spent more time talking photos of the buffet than cooking the food.

This is one of best hotel in this area away from the bustle of gateway area like Gongbei. Loved our stay. Staff was friendly and wonderful. Nearby, there are some restaurants and shops and a big mall. Not too isolated but not too busy. Very comfortable, big rooms. Close to Jiouzhou port with free shuttle to and from. Wi-fi worked really well. Only complaint, no indoor pool, outdoor pool no shades. Too hot to use it.

We stay here for 2 nights in 2 suites. Our overall staying were satisfied - hotel stuffs are friendly, professional and helpful; room are big and clean; the breakfast (compare to other hotel in China) is impressed. Only things I am a little bit unsatisfied is the bedding - I was feeling like I was laying on the brick...

An older hotel 5-star hotel with 3-star service

The Holiday Inn is one of the older western hotels here, and you can tell despite having been fixed up recently. It's comfortable enough; however, the staff are somewhat incompetent. It is Zhuhai, after all, and not the Great Wall Sheraton in Beijing.

Calm, nice area

Very calm and clean, and the room was huge. It's in a quiet area, but there are interesting stores and restaurants nearby. The Irish Pub downstairs was decent.

The staff's English proficiency was more than adequate. The room was a little smelly and stuffy but they didn't let us change rooms. The restaurant staff was very accommodating and pleasant, food was good.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Zhuhai. Rooms were spacious, quiet, and the hotel in general was in good condition. Buffet and room service were good and reasonably priced. Staff speaks good English and the hotel is an excellent choice for western travelers.

Club Lounge is good value

Stayed in a club room and enjoyed lounge acces where the range of food and beveridge available was extensive. As there were 2 of us staying it made for really good value. The hotel was quiet, clean and rooms well appointed.

I've stayed in a few hotels in Zhuhai over the years, but this is the one from now on! Great hotel, beautiful and spacious rooms, and convenient location. The one thing that stood out above all else with this hotel, was the staff. Most spoke excellent English, and most were not only friendly, but "engagingly" friendly. This is the way a hotel should be!

Friendly hotel with good location

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night, just visiting Zhuhai for the first time. The hotel looks new on the outside, but the rooms need renovation. We got a nice room with a view to the mountains, and the room was clean and spacious. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. The best thing about the hotel was the overall willingness to help, and the location. Take a right when you leave the hotel, and after 5 minutes walk you’re in an area with a park and a rather big mall. At the mall there is excellent sushi restaurants and coffee bars. Continue roughly in the same direction as the mall and after ten minutes or so, you’ll find yourself in a very nice, big park, and you can take a walk along the shoreline (Lover’s Road?) and snap photos of the symbol of Zhuhai, The Fisher Girl statue. Also, the hotel has a free shuttle to the ferry terminal.

Hotel is clean, food is OK and staff are helpful. Location less than 10 minutes from Ferry terminal but be careful of shuttle bus - can be a long wait and taxis are cheap! I would stay again.

I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn in July and it's my first visit to this hotel. It's a 3 star U.S. hotel standard. Room was roomy. The lighting can be a bit brighter. Bed was hard as a rock. Many U.S. chain hotels and even regional chain hotels like Marco Polo has improved their bed to be a bit softer cushioned mattress. Breakfast was average and acceptable, obviously cannot be compared to some of the over-priced breakfast buffets, but you pay want you get.

Fantastic showers!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Zhuhai in the last 2 months, last time being for almost 2 weeks. Last time I stayed on the exec floor and had a truly huge room. This time as I was only staying for 2 nights I was a little more conservative and just opted for a deluxe room. When I arrived at my room which looked delightful I was disappointed to see there was a shower over the bath so I paid a surcharge to go back to the exec floor and have separate bath and shower facilities. The shower's here are AWESOME so much so that I am changing my showers at home to the same Hansgrohe Clubmaster showers... WOW! They are also used by the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai - just the best shower experience... you almost need an oxygen tank to survive - a proper drenching! Anyway enough about the showers (although I do think these reviews should have a specific question re the showers performance as to me this is important). Hotel is modern, clean, staff friendly, restaurants are ok, the Italian in particular is quite nice. The Irish pub is ok, like many hotels out here there are a couple of Filipino singers blasting out the hits of past and present. In Zhuhai it's the only hotel I know and I'm happy that if I'm in town this is the one for me.

Holiday Inn Zhuhai

My husband and I booked a night at Holiday Inn Zhuhai after we discovered our flight would be getting in too late to make it across the border to Macao where we were staying for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The service at the front desk was excellent and the room was great. Big bathroom and comfortable beds. We booked the breakfast package with our room and it was well worth it, a delicious buffet with a good mix of eastern and western food. The only mistake we made was enjoying the hotel a little too long and we had to wait in extremely long lines at customs to get from Zhuhai to Macao (two hours total). So if you are like us and Zhuhai is a stop on your way across the border I would keep this in mind. The Holiday Inn though was a great option and we'd definitely stay there again, especially for the price.

Reasonably good International

Reasonably good International standard accomodations with spacious rooms. Location was good, about 5-8 minutes taxi ride to Gongbei customs, there is also a free shuttle service between hotel and Juizhou Port for ferry services to HongKong. Afew eateries and shops within short walk from hotel and also just a 5 minutes walk to the huge Duty-free shopping mall. Would stay again if in Zhuhai.
