Top notch room, wifi worked, nice desk, upscale bathroom with both bath and shower, included rain forest nozzle. Staff is very friendly, usually greeting you with a smile and saying "Good morning," even when just walking by. No gift shop. Nice selection of sandwiches, sodas when going out for the day. Lucas, the concierge, was awesome. He knew I like Diet Coke and made sure I had one before leaving on a tour. The bar/cafe is iffy--for me. Live music, very loud, and hardly anyone in the cafe ... I think the music drives people away. It did me! I didn't want to have a nice drink and meal with that music pounding in my ears!! So I went elsewhere. But overall, top notch place, and great staff, with a working knowledge of English.

Good stay, clean, neat and convenient.

It was excellent, except no power = nothing worked for more than 2 hours on Monday. Waited more than 30 min. for an elevator.

Mixed experience: not sure if I would stay again.

This is considered a "5 star" hotel in China. For a large international brand, there were issues: 1. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, with most speaking proficient English. Sven was especially helpful. 2. Restaurant and wait staff were not as proficient with English. 3. Public areas were looking worn-out/dated. Chairs in restaurants were too low for the tables. 4. Food in restaurants was good, but service was slow. 4. Room service was fairly priced, but repeated things like forgetting silverware, condiments, or incomplete orders made the process not enjoyable. 5. One night, my child had a nose bleed. There was blood on the linens. Upon check-out we found we were charged an extra "cleaning fee" for this. While this type of charge may be common (?) in China, I have never had it happen in Europe, the United States or other Asian countries. For a minor incident over a 9 night stay, I thought this was a bit much. I had never had this happen to me in China before.

Location location location

Check-in is fast and a room with great view is assigned. Staff is very efficient and nice. The hotel’s decoration is golden tone and it reminds me China’s 1980s’ Canton area vulgarly decorating style. The room is a business suite and equipped with desk, basic business tools such as stapler, paper clips, eraser, etc. Internet cable is also ready. WiFi is free. However, they still use 1980s’ electric kettle and instant coffee. There is no brand name for anything. Location is terrible. It is not too far away from major attractions but public transportation is limited. It is not walking distance to anywhere. Also, because of the one-way traffic next to the hotel, it is very difficult for the local Didi drivers to find where the entrance is. This city has a dedicated lane for bike riders. However, because cars double park so frequently and occupy the bike lane, bike riders often have to risk their life being hit by a car.

False advertising

There are multiple problems with this hotel. Most importantly, the rooms we rented were supposed to be 45 square meters large but the truth is that they were less than half the size - clearly false advertising - beware! Relatively speaking, the rooms are tiny. In addition, the service was well-meaning but poor, the restaurants were mediocre, and extra purchases were expensive (a bottle of water was the equivalent of more than $3, a small latte the equivalent of more than $11 ....). I would recommend other hotels in Wuxi that are better.

As usual, a great Kempinski, my favorite choice.

Overall the facilities were fine. One issue was the TV programming. The international stations always had a blue image indicating the signal was not good. This happened each and every time we watched TV.

it is a nice hotel but there is not much to shout about.... the pub does home brew beers but it was pretty flat in taste.... the buffet restaurant is nice though, with a nice natural light atrium

Beautiful hotel

I stayed in this hotel twice and both times it delivered to the best of my expectations. There's nothing I dislike about this hotel. It has great service, very good food, especially for westerners. The Paulaner restaurant in the lobby is awesome. It serves very good choice of German-style food. The staff speaks English. The internet is free, and you can get higher speed wired access (four Mbit up/down) for a very small amount.

I enjoyed my stay at the Wuxi Kempinski very much. The staff were polite and very helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. My only concern would be the exorbitant price of the room service.

Nice Business Grade Hotel

After trying several, this is my standard business hotel in Wuxi.

Very nice property in Wuxi - xlnt fitness center!

The property is gorgeous, reception desk is well staffed with multilingual persons. Hotel, and rooms, are beautifully appointed, as you would expect for a 5-star property. Breakfast buffet is extensive and very good. Fitness center is world-class, as well as the swimming pool. Room service served excellent food from the restaurants, however, the phone staff was limited in their bilingual skills - so each order was an experience, involving multiple calls to get an order placed - the only black mark on an otherwise perfect stay!

Kempinski Hotel

During the breakfast buffee, most of the tables were left un-cleaned after departure of guests, I ended up sitting on the most remote corner at breakfast area, not pleasant feeling.

国庆期间住客很多，但客房隔音很好，室内很安静。行政套房比较宽敞，视野也不错。

其中有些想要評價一下: 1) 早餐, 我訂的雙床間, 但到酒店時, 說房間只包一位早餐, 我覺得滿奇怪的, 我從未試過有酒店會這樣安排, 明明就是訂雙床, 卻只包一位早餐? 2) 冷氣, 從一進房就開冷氣, 但一直都不涼, 直到晚上8點多忍不住打電話去客服, 客服來到才解釋, 每房空調只開通半個小時, 著我等下, 就會涼? 解釋說, 8點前的都是中央通風而已?

早餐一般，灯光暗，充电插座不足，床头没有电源。不接受国内居民护照为有效证件，很不方便。其他服务还可以。

地理位置还可以 理无锡博物馆还挺近的 周边也有配套的商圈 还有公园可以跑步 就是房间的装修挺老了。

在无锡城区南部，周边属于仍待建设的新商务区，略有点冷清，不过高层视野很好，很安静。交通离最近的太湖广场地铁站走路10到15分钟，另外一个方向走10分钟就是无锡博物馆和后面的茂业天地购物中心，餐饮购物尚属便利。酒店内部环境不错，高层套房内接近240度视野，晚上看市区夜景不错。总体还是商务型的酒店，但游泳池和健身房的配置不错，内部也有多家中餐和德式西餐。

Staff were nice,and roon was ok, but the general management especially for carport was so poor. The waiting area for lift in carport was like a pond, and my shoes were wet even I were quite careful to avoid such embarrass.

每次來無錫都選擇入住這家酒店，客房舒適，位置尚算便利，附近環境比較整潔。

Отличный отель. Но уборку в номерах делают плохо. Несколько раз попадал в тот момент когда меняют постельное бельё. Пол не пропылисосили, на него ложат подушки и заправляют кровати, не хватает мозгов положить подушки на соседнюю кровать (в нашем номере две кровати) А в остальном все очень даже круто. Уютный номер, ванная комната очень шикарная!
