We will not be back again.

The hotel has no parking and they recommended we park in a nearby parking lot, but they didn't tell us it was a crazy cost and at the end of two days we paid 600 NIS. The breakfast is good and rich. The pool, jacuzzi and spa are of average quality.

great location and fabulous breakfast

This hotel was nothing special. The lobby requires upkeep. Rooms are small. Balconies were dirty. Pool area wasn’t kept well. No chairs or lounge chairs or beach towels provided to guests. Hotel is understaffed. Concierge always needs to be called, front desk usually has 1 person working. It’s a cheap beach front hotel I only stayed here because I had to.

Great stay

Amazing service and location

The peaple at the hotel were the best. They food and cleaned all around was great and the beach is right there. My wife and I walked at night till midnight and we had no problem and it was very safe.

hotel catastrophe

The hotel was not satisfying as supposed to be ! the business loung was supposed to open from 9h early in the morning till 11pm to be able to have a breakfast, but it opened only from 11 a.m and really had nothing special to eat or drink and was empty at 8 pm . we had to take the breakfast and pay for it and the price was more expensif than on Hotels.com the rooms were very small and not comfortable even they were renovated we will not go back or recommand this hotel. we are asking for the refund of all the breakfast. we had room 1503 and 1505 .

Mismanagement

There was a fire in the hotel. The entire fire management was done very poorly. No water offered to those waiting in the lobby. The electricity was cut off for the entire last day of stay. Not a word of apology or compensation

Hotel is occupied by families that were displaced by the government from south and north ! And it is ok! But not at the price we paid for our room!!

Good comfortable hotel.

I’ve visited Tel Aviv a lot, so know what to expect, on this occasion we were a large family group, so we had booked four rooms in total, although a couple of the rooms experienced AC issues, these were sorted and rooms cool enough. Excellent breakfast, staff a little too eager to remove full glasses of juice, or half full plates, and sometimes difficult to get a cup of coffee when busy at weekends, but generally a good comfortable hotel, in ideal location and helpful staff. Would stay again.

Not a 5 star nearer a 2 star

This hotel may once have been a 5 star but not anymore apart from location. The bathroom was dirty when we checked in. The floor was filthy my feet were black walking to the bathroom and back. The chairs in restaurant are peeling leather and stuffing escaping from cushion. People appear in pajama for breakfast and pile food in tin foil taking it away. The lifts are dark and scratched and the door to the beach is dangerous and a fire hazard as they locked the emergency exit and only works two floors above. The hallway near the room had an old mattress and broken chair left for three days, wires hanging out of a socket and they repairs electrics at midnight causing all the lights to switch on and wake us up. The staff are not knowledgeable but friendly and the assistant manager rude when I told her someone was vaping inthe restaurant, she hides in the office so wouldn’t know what us going on in the hotel. They demanded a £200 hold with my credit card despite having paid in full and refused to release until checkout. The food at breakfast was not great only fruit available was melon or chopped fruit salad not even a banana. The bread was good day one but by day 3 the bagels and cholla had gone not replaced. There was a chef cooking eggs which was fine. The pool area was dirty where people had smoked and the cleaner turned up late afternoon to remove the ash. Disappointed

Very nice accommodations and good breakfast. Especially loved the freshly squeezed fruit juices...carrot juice was delicious.

Much better stays in Tel Aviv

The worst stay I have ever had. Im dorry but when you speak to a manager regarding a problem and how rude the staff is and the excuse is that the staff is russian ... its unacceptable. Do not stay here ... the only saving grace for this hotel is the front desk staff and concierge staff are super nice. Its down hill after that....we switched hotels...it was that bad.

The rooms are outdated, especially the carpet needs to be changed.

All the people in the hotel were super friendly and very helpful.

The Crown Plaza Tel Aviv Beach is under a refreshment. We were in a renovated suite, that was small but comfortable. There is limited storage space and no closet for hanging clothing. The room was clean and the hotel overall was clean. Given the size of the suite, the rooms would be small. The pool area is lovely though the bar is not open which is unfortunate. Further the water station was inside the hotel and you had to leave the pool area to access. The breakfast area had a decent selection. The club lounge was very nice and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. The hospitality and lounge staff were very nice. The front desk and concierge was a bit of a hit and miss and the staff at the entrance spent most of their time on their phone texting and playing games. Overall, management were unhelpful and their reason for the service was due to the culture. I know that is not the case as we visited other hotels in the area and that was not the experience we received. The lobby bar did not have a great selection and you were limited to wine or some spirits. The room service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Wifi only worked in part of our room and it did not work in the pool area. Overall, the hotel is dated and the service needs improvement. There are members of the management that should rethink how they approach service at the hotel. The hotel location is excellent for access to the beach and surrounding activities.

Great location on the beach.

The property was at a perfect location however does require somew updating. maybe consider removing the carpets. Closet door did not open and I requested someone come to fix it. Apparently they came but the door was not fixed. I could not hang up my clothes.

Service was good, but beds,towels, pillows, sheets were terrible. Lounge with Katya was excellent

The hotel has a beautiful veiw of Mediterranean sea and Tel Aviv beach. Very convenient for aily walking or jogging since promenade is located in front of hotel. Daily breakfast had huge varieties of food, freshly squized juces. Shabbat dinner vas stalish and delicious. Hotel stuff was friendly and helpful. Hotel's Restaurant employee Sveta was very attentive and helpful. Michael at concierge table was very helpful especially to get us on time to the airport.

I didn't like smell from cleaning chemicals in the room

Had a wonderful stay. Hotel right on the beach. Roon clean and comfortable. Staffs were very nice. No cimplaint

Great breakfast

Great gem directly on the beach. They are currently renovating rooms and it was great to have a newly renovated room. The business lounge offered complimentary lite snacks, lite breakfast foods, dinner, wine. This was a wonderful bonus. The location is amazing, walkable, on the boardwalk.

Hotel was very convenient to all things in Tel Aviv.Loved the Aroma right outside and all the activities on the Promenade. Had stayed here about 30 years ago and remember it being more upscale. Some renovations need to be done. Overall a great stay.

No ice in rooms. A charge if they bring it up. Room cleaning staff useless. From no toilet paper no sugar dirty balcony never cleaned once with our two week stay . Won’t use Expedia or Crown again

This is an older hotel on the beach which has been completely renovated. The rooms are gorgeous; the bathrooms are modern, updated and very much state of the art. I was extremely pleased and I give this hotel a solid 5 star rating.

The property is tired . Room housekeeping terrible . Everyday something not done. No ice in room fridge or on the floor . To deliver ice to your room they charge you. Recommend stay somewhere else

Hello I think this hotel need to be update. Floor was sticky in bathroom. I told about that to housekeeper but after her cleaning was still sticky. Trashcan in bathroom was broken. I mention about that to house Kerri but she told me I need to tell about that in front desk.I did and nothing was change.Some day was missing rug in front of bathtub. I mention about that to housekeeper and she told me they are short of laudry. Beach town was not easy to get in. From (-)2 floor they will send to front desk and front desk will send you to pick up from the pool which in (- )1 floor

Wonderful Stay for Romantic Gataway

What a pleasant stay. Perfectly located hotel on the Gordon beach with upgraded renovated room. Excellent service from Peleg which went above and beyond to make our stay great and to let us feel welcomed. Loved the tasty breakfast.

absolutely beautiful location. right on the beach and our room had a balcony overlooking the mediterranean, and the beaches all the way to jaffa. walk outside the hotel and you are on the beach promenade. clean, lovely hotel. helpful and polite and kind staff. wonderful place to stay in tel aviv. and we were able to walk to restaurants from the hotel.

7 night stay

A very tired hotel in a fantastic position on the beach, the hotel is crying out for a refurbishment, the food was good, staff a little unfriendly, clean but feelings of fallen grandeur. It did lots of the difficult things right but breakfast although really good was chaotic, lots of nice things but nothing was labelled and staff in this area were unhelpful

The rooms were decent but nothing to write home about. The mini fridge did not work. The pool was not an operation as they were repairing/renovating the area. That would’ve been fine but I should have known. I was looking for a place with a pool. Location is perfect! And the people tried to be very accommodating although things did slip through the cracks a couple times. I would return in the hopes that the renovations will be complete.

Not clen very slippery showroom i need to put towels On the floor. Noisy i was on first floor room 118 on top of the main Rd . I payed 200 for parking .

Good stay but no pool

Room was good size, great location, helpful staff and breakfasts were fantastic. I didn’t rate the business lounge (it’s not well suited for business people actually wanting to work, as opposed to wanting to socialise). My main complaint was the pool, which was closed from Sunday to Wednesday, which was not made clear, and very disappointing if this was the main reason that the hotel was chosen.

I only booked this property because of the indoor pool. You state it is open from 10-6 however you did not mention that it is ONLY OPEN ON WEEKENDS. This is false advertising to not mention that information. I will be contacting you for compensation

Amenities were closed for half the stay. The other half we had to skip over bricks and rubble to get to it. Our bedding was changed once in 9 days. Room not cleaned properly even when making a point on their website that it is. Location is great but the hotel is not worth the money. I’ve complained and not heard back.

Restaurant on premises was excellent. Room was clean, but remote control was not working. The check-in process took almost 20 minutes because of two hand-offs by staff. Staff was professional and worked hard to be helpful. Overall positive stay with little glitches.

This hotel has improved since our last stay. The rooms are nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Parking is overpriced and limited.

Hotel so was accommodating got there 9am gave me room no problem. Staff was so helpful. Breakfast buffet was the bigest and best I ever had in Israel.. Hotel is definitely 5 star quality

Stay on the 17th Floor!

Executive room on the 17th floor (the highest) was awesome. View for miles - clean - comfortable bed - what more can you ask for? 5 stars.

It was ok

Except for the excellent service from the employees, everything needed improvement. The room was not very clean, there was no bag in the trash, the lamps in the room didn't work. The variety at meals was meager and at dinner there was no cold drink except water (not even lemonade or orange juice.

Terrible experience

Air conditioning didn't work in middle of hot summer. Didn't move us to another room. Couldn't sleep and left at 6 am. Was promised a call back from manager, Ms. Lee regarding refund. Called her gor a week!!!! Not one return call back!!! Spoje to Valerie who promised to call back. Called and left numerous messages. Even IHG corporate failed to help. Total lack of customer service and responsiveness.

The location and view were outstanding. The service was also outstanding.

awful, stay away

hotel is under going significant renovation from 8am until 18:30 pm, it is VERY VERY noisy during the day, too noisy to sleep or get any rest. I called room service 4 times for lunch, nobody answered. nobody answered reception during this time either so I had to go out for lunch. room was very dirty floor, I had to request a clean to sanitise it. I was offered some refund which I was grateful for, however I would not stay here again

I liked the location of the hotel being on the beach and the amazing sea view from the bedroom. I liked the valet parking guys - awesome service! I didn’t like the Deluxe room bc it looked old and view to the street so I agreed to pay more and moved to Premium. Room service don’t change bedspread daily nor after 4 days I was there. I myself removed all beddings —- I also didn’t like the business lounge food — too much sweet — I would have liked to see nuts or chips or —-

Location is great! But moneywise poor services , business launch was extremely bad. I mean food was OK but they keep it i a way you cannot enjoy unless you come asvearly as they bring ot up.One type of wi e. You need to ask for everythig..ice, wine glass, they also may close early than posted.3 star hotel that cost you like 5. My room was not renovated.

Security Guard handles reservations apparently

When I first walked in the security guard, tolf me no rooms available. First why is a security guard talking about room availability when he doesnt do reservations. Then the front desk guy confirmed no booking. I said I could book it online and they said it wouldnt work. One minute later booked online and suddenly a room becomes available. Very disappointing that the security guard felt the need to act like there was no rooms when there was and the front desk guy also lying. Its like they tried their hardest not to get a customer for the hotel. Then came back a few days later t confirm deposit put back and the same security guard gave me problems trying to walk in. Not worth the money paid

Room was in poor condition, we arrived late. Got to the room unpacked, and went straight to bed. The next day we noticed how poor conditions the hotel was. Flickering light bulbs, poor A/C, shower head doesn’t stay fixed always sliding down. We didn’t make a scene as we already unpacked and were just too lazy to re pack and move to a different room.

I had a nicely renovated room, very clean and well situated. The overall property needs modernization. Guess when the renovations are done this will be addressed. But if you get a renovated room. I would recommend this location. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Excellent location! Right on the beach! Steps away from the promenade! The pictures on the website are not misleading in anyway! The staff was very helpful and very pleasant. The only complaint I had was that the “queen sized bed” was a queen sized box frame with a piece of plywood over it and two thin twin mattresses on top of that which tended to separate while you were sleeping. However, I was too tired from touring to complain about it; and I certainly got a good nights rest on it. It was, at best, a minor inconvenience.

This hotel is very run down and in need of some smiling faces. The staff were grumpy and not helpful at all. The best thing about it is the location. We were very disappointed with our stay.

My expectation were higher for a 5 stars hotel. The room was ok , good location but I didn’t like the fact to queue for breakfast ,to get a table , then to get a coffee and another queue to get fresh cooked eggs. Noise at 9 am in the corridor because of the cleaning. The swimming pool need some update.

Location is excellent and breakfast is very good. Hotel needs renovation as only a few floors were renovated. Service was not very good as we had to ask repeatedly for simple things like water in the room . Staff not always friendly . As the property is central and on the beach it made up for the below average service.

Rooms need renovation, and updating. Pool also needs updating.

Second time in this hotel and again the same problem - taxi to the airport. The hotel does not provide its own transfer and this is bad, because the taxi drivers that come to the hotel want to get extra money from you. This time the driver initially confirmed that he accepted credit card but in the airport I had to go to the ATM to get cash because his card terminal was not working at the end. PLEASE arrange official transfers, I would pay some extra money to avoid problems.

Worst IHG I have ever stayed. Very dirty room with heavy dirt on the window. It is a room with balcony and Seaview but the heavy dirt on the window will completely block your view, and you won't be want to dwell at balcony at all as it's so dusty. Also the minibar smells very bad with an odor of mosses, and no drink inside is cold. If you want to ask for ice delivered to your room it would cost you NIS$14 so think again if you want cold drinks. Lastly housekeeping is not up to standard. They took all the towels in the room without replacement. When I called housekeeping and ask them to send some towels they only brought one. I asked the staff if they could bring more he said "No English I don't understand" and walked away. Please consider the very nature that international guests would expect English speaking staff in your property and I'm amused by how low the service level could be.
