Best place to stay in Tseung Kwan O

This is a very nice hotel, the best in the area near Tseung Kwan O. It is directly above the Tseung Kwan O MTR station and has excellent access to public transportation. The rooms and amenities are very modern, and the mattress is comfortable. The area around the hotel is very safe, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Note that this is on the eastern edge of Kowloon, and it is about a 40-minute MTR ride to most of the touristy areas (Central, Mong Kok, etc.) The hotel runs a shuttle to the Kowloon station, for easy access to the airport.

Rooms are a little dark

A good location, clean, good line of staff, nice fitness center. It could be better if elevator is faster.

We like the breakfast, the flexibility of the location, the 24 hours fitness center , shopping center, subway, bus, within reach as well as the courtesy shuttle. The draw back was the elevators, frequently waited awhile, possible due to the outside guests came in for the dining or attend certain special occasions.

Amazing staff and clean. If you need help going somewhere or help in general they offer the best help they can. All staff including reception, luggage storage, and the maids who clean your rooms and the buffet staff 5 Star to them all. It's an excellent hidden gem. The hotel is located right across from the MTR entrance and there are plenty of shops and eateries around. The hotel is well kept and the staff are professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend to all friends and family.

Located next to the Popcorn Mall and easily accessible by the TKO MTR and the airport bus route A28 stations, this hotel is perfect in terms of shopping and transportation convenience. The staff are generally helpful. Some of them were young therefore specific instructions. The swimming pool and gym were in very good shape. You can tell that they do try to offer variety for their buffet breakfast Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Very convenient location.

The stay in the hotel is enjoyable, with spacious and well equipped room, and well-served by friendly, attentive and professional staff. The hotel is surrounded by shopping malls with numerous dining and shopping options, also next to metro station and bus station to get around.

Not enough electric receptacles in our room for US plugs. So we ended up charging our mobile phones one at a time!

I like this hotel for it’s so close to MTR, so easy to travel to anywhere in HK.The shopping mall are big . The staffs are so sweet and considerate , I’ll choose this hotel next time when I come back to HK👍

Excellent customer service, although the cleaning of the room missed dusting and a proper hoovering, only an issue because of our underlying health conditions.. but i would recommend this hotel and i will be staying again in the future.. the only real negative is my bed mattress most definitely needs changing, dip in mattress 😴 lol but the other bed was wonderful..

This is my third time staying at this hotel, I am satisfied with overall experience. The front desk staff are super friendly, especially the young gentleman called Billy. He been very helpful and friendly to me answering my questions and taking care of my needs. The room is spacious and also talk ceiling, super comfy.

The hotel is on top of the MTR station, super convenient to go out to any place with MTR. It also connects to the shopping center, so even the weather is not nice, you are still able to have options where to eat and shops. Front desk staff are very professional, friendly and helpful.

Best Hotel in Hong Kong's New Territories

As with our previous stay, service at this hotel was excellent; the maids always seemed to know the best (most convenient) time to clean our room. Door staff were always ready and eager to open the main door for our entry or exit, and made storing our luggage after checking out an easy process. Can't say enough about the complimentary breakfast buffet; wide variety of breakfast foods, both Asian and Western, friendly staff that quickly takes used plates/glasses off your dining table.

Stay a week for works, next to underground makes it a convenient choice while not as noisy as in city centre

Stay there March 2023 and returned again in May 2024, the hotel room, furniture and bathroom hardwares showed significant aging and worn out. Will probably stay away next time.

Bad smell upon entering the room for the first time. Ok hotel for the price we paid for.

Overall experience stay in Crown Plaza is good. Excellent service but fair in clearness . Sometimes need to remind front desk to make further cleaning of our room.

The hotel location is very convenient with shopping centre & MTR station right at the door step. The hotel is generally clean and the room size is quite spacious in Hong Kong standard.

Poor service in breakfast buffet.

Service staff at the front desk were fine, courteous. Some of the food service staff were rude, especially the staff behind the buffet counter doing the cooking. Most of the food serving staff seems to be unprofessional, lack of training and poorly performing.

Very nice hotel near TKO subway station and connected to shopping center with lots of restaurant options. Therefore very convenient. The hotel room was very spacious above 500sq ft and they even provide a crib for our baby. The only down side was that there was the smell of sewer in the bathroom but when we called housekeeping, they came quickly to correct the issue by pouring down bleach and the smell disappeared. The hotel staff was also very nice!

Hotel out of town but easy to get into town metro station very close to hotel. Quiet hotel despite it being a big hotel. Great dining and breakfast. Had a pool which was nice to come back to.

Polite staff but dirty hotel

Let me start by saying that the staff at the hotel is excellent. Everyone we dealt with were polite and very eager to help. We had a small issue at the start of our stay and it was addressed immediately so we appreciate that. However, the hotel is dated and in rough shape. There is black mould growing in the bathroom - in the shower as well as in the corners of the walls. Hong Kong is hot and humid but if the room is cleaned properly this will not happen . The room is dusty and the beds were not comfortable. The lounge at the top of the hotel was also quite dirty, from the disgusting stained menus to the sticky counters. A light renovation with a big focus on improving the cleeaniness is a must for this hotel.

8.5 + stars hotel

10 days of accommodation with 2 connected rooms for 3 people. Their staffs are professional and friendly. The house cleaning and made up the room are tidy and clean that made us relax after a day out. The bed is comfortable and clean. I would recommend the hotel should: - update the room furnitures, curtains (too old, broken and smell), the carpet (too old and smell). - not enough lighting at the closet area. - The bathroom is ok, and I like both shower (especially the rain shower head). I like 2 sided mirrors of the bathroom door. - hotel is at the popcorn mall and at the subway station MTR — very convenient. I will come back next time.

Check in experience was average. We arrived an hour early and requested to be informed when the room would be available. But we have to approach the counter a few times and eventually found out the room was available earlier but was not informed.

All good except house keeping

It is a pleasant stay except for the house keeping. I stayed there before and it was good but only this time. Glasses and cups are not washed properly and not placed back to their original place after house keeping. I was once given a towel with a hole! The floor was not vacuum occasionally. I think they just hired a lazy staff. Other areas were all nice. Front desk and bell service all very helpful. Buffet breakfast are very good with a large variety of food to choose.

Beware! dirty air filters in the air intake vents.

Housekeeping service is very good. The air filter of the air intake vent located in the entry of the room was very dirty ( completely covered with dust). I made a complaint to the front desk clerk and they sent a service person the next day to take care of the problem. I could not observe the condition of other air intake vents due to the hard to reach locations. I suggest to all hotel guests to use the emergency flash light (provided by the hotel) to examine the air intake vent filters right after they have checked in the room. It is important for hotels to provide a healthy environment especially clean air for the guests.

I think the breakfast buffet needs to be improved The variety of food is a bit limited Almost the same line up every day Imagine you see the similar dishes for twelve mornings. Haha Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great stay in Hong Kong

Check-in was very easy. Upgraded to a bigger room on higher floor when I arrived. Room was spacious with great view. Desk available for work. Bathroom with walk-in shower and tub. Located conveniently right above mall and subway station for easy access to the rest of the city. Breakfast buffet in the morning with many options. Nice pool on the 5th floor with sauna in the locker room. Overall, the hospitality from the staff was great from arrival to departure making me feel like I was a valued customer.

I didnt like the screen in front of the wash basin that seperates the bedroom, you could easily see through my friend naked!

Room 3606 the matress was well worn out we did not get a good night's sleep.Curtain rail broken.Bath shower hose broken. Changed room next day after I complained, however I got the impression that the staff were used to swapping people to other rooms as nobody was interested in seeing the problems with room 3606. No apologies or compensation of any kind were offered to myself or my wife, for a very bad nights sleep which resulted in us both having to recover on our second day by staying in bed most of the day😡 Room 3906 was the room we moved to and was ok....the way every room should be 🙄 I would advise anyone who books this hotel to check the bed and room on arrival ⚠️ I have my doubts as to whether things will change as the attitude of the staff is "they could not care less about the customers "😡

Room is clean. Everyday we come back after breakfast, the room is refresh already. The location of the property is above the MTR station. It is very convenient.

The room is satisfied. Plenty of spaces which make me feel relax. air purifier in each room makes extra comfortable time.

The light above the clothes rack was very dim. We found a toothpaste cap behind the sink. Since it wasn’t from our toothpaste, it was likely from the room’s previous occupant, which means that part of the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. Other than the above, we had a pleasant stay.

Not a great experience with check-in

This is my 3rd check-in in Sep I just wanna relax out of home and Stay in hotel with my partner And when I checked-in The front desk said there are only twins bed for us And do we look like sleep separate ? I know I didn’t have right to argue But it’s really not a good experience at this time Especially we re couple and we re 3rd time check-in
