This hotel was very clean, beautiful, very quiet, nice ambience and design, very friendly staffs, super beauty white sand clean and virgin beach.

Would not recommend

Horrible smell of wet and closed in room. They seem to be aware of it, since the receptionist warned me but they still do not resolve. Could be a decent overall experience but this for me spolied the whole experience

Staff were very friendly, especially Mohamed at check-in. Buffet breakfast was fantastic and the property was very clean. Swimming pool was nice, with a beach view, but a little small for a resort pool.

Average stay, could have been better

Hotel and room were neat and clean however there were a few things that could be improved. The Pool closes at 7 pm and hence if you want to take a relaxing dip in the pool in the evening after returning from work, you cant. Also there was a problem in payment, despite paying in advance on the Hotels.com website, my credit card was swiped again upon check in, I had thought it was a security deposit pre authorisation but actually it was charged. Thankfully I noticed this at check out and had to request for a reversal of transaction. The refund is atill awaited. Also there was a problem with the IPTV with the channels not being streamed properly and remote not working. Basic amenities like ~Toothbrush, Tooth Paste etc were not provided in the room. They did not even have a shoe shine in the room. Overall, I expected better.

Great stay at the Crowne

I enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza. I appreciated the upgrade to a larger room, the fitness center facilities, and the food options available on site. The pool area and view from the back are beautiful. My only critique is that it is more humid than normal in the room. They should install a dehumidifier to address that issue. Otherwise, it was a good stay, and I look forward to returning.

Special stay at Duqm

This hotel has so much to offer! The staff are exceptional and really make you feel at home! Although we were there for work, the hotel location and staff mad it feel like a vacation. We also received an amazing free upgrade which really just made the experience all that more special. One thing that is missing maybe is the fact that there was no Omani cuisine served during the entire time we stayed at the hotel. We also assumed that the coffee would be local, but unfortunately only Nescafe was available... Think this hotel has so much to offer that it really is only the small things that now need to be addressed.

Really lovely property, we went back for a repeat stay. The staff here is what makes the hotel so great, their attention to detail, their friendliness and willingness to help and go the extra mile. The food here is also delicious and they have a great infinity pool. We stayed here as a mid way point on our road trip from muscat to salalah along the coastal route. Highly recommended

Beautiful hotel, on a stunning beach. The staff are very courteous and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Had a great night's sleep, and during the day the beach and infinity pool were grear diversions. There is not much to the town of duqm yet, and also the natural beach running into the desert does have some rubbish washing up from the sea.

Nice Hotel

Nice hotel with a great accommodating staff. Nice pool and amenities. Download a VPN prior to arrival if you want to use wifi to call home.

Top Notch must stay for anyone going to Duqm Oman. Nicest polite people you will meet in middle east.

Great stay. After one of the other hotels in Duqm tried to charge me double the Expedia price at the door (inlcluding a 17 OMR 'tax'!), I decided to head to the Crowne Plaza. Great rooms, food and staff.

There is not much to do in Duqm but if you want a relaxing beach holiday or are just passing through for a night this is a great place to stop. Facilities are great, as are the staff.

Perfect hotel!

What an amazing hotel! The hotel looks brand new and is very well maintained. Everything is remarkably clean and perfect. The hotel even smells wonderful! We had a huge room with a beautiful balcony and an amazingly comfortable bed. The shower was really nice and the deep bath was perfect. The rooms were quiet and had great air conditioning. The staff was absolutely amazing and everyone were very professional. The buffet was very good and all the good was very good quality. The pool was really good and the beach was very nice, also. Great, spacious gym was nice. We were so happy we chose this hotel and would gladly return anytime. It has been one of the few truly amazing hotels we have stayed at. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay at Crowne Plaza Duqm

We had a lovely stay at the Crowne Plaza Duqm. The staff was so thoughtful, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The beach was beautiful and practically empty for a beautiful sunset walk. The pool was great for a quick, refreshing dip. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The wifi among the best in our time in Oman. While there is a lot of building going on in Duqm, it is currently a pretty quiet place, which we loved but might not be for everyone. If you are looking for a clean, relaxing place to stay while in Oman and/or a place on the road from Muscat to Salalah, this is the perfect spot for you. I recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in Oman.

Great room. Great buffet. Great pool. Needs excursions...understand it's duqm, but line fishing or a dhow cruise with the locals would be a great first start.

Nice,clean, top of the line "American style" hotel

Everything was good, except I have a very strange diet and I did not like most of the food, but most people would love it.

Great hotel at a great price

Best service I have seen for hotels in the region. Staff was very accommodating to our three kids and they received little chocolates when we left. We would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Crown Plaza Duqm - Excellent Hotel

I stayed in Crown Plaza Duqm in July 2016 I was traveling to Salalah , journey being long , decided to stop over night in between to get a good break from the long drive . We had a memorable stay in crown plaza. The staff is excellent , very polite , helpful and took extra efforts to make us comfortable. My kids also loved it. I am a frequent traveler , but rarely have come across such hospitality. I recommend this hotel to the travelers and am sure you won't be dis appointed.

A jewel in the middle of nowhere

We stop there one night on the way to Salalah and was the best Hotel I had stayed in Oman, better than Hilton and Marriot. It is mostly a business hotel, that it is used for the port and oil industries and also for public events, that is why is located in that area that is in the middle of nowhere!! There is absolutely nothing to do, but it is great to stay for a night as we did on our way to salalah. If you really want to relax this is the place because truly there is absolutely anything to do!! We drove from Sur to there and the scenery was really beautifull. All the stuff is very nice and helpful, the hotel is absolutely great, it is new (no more than 2 years), veeeeery good taste, nice rooms, nice views, nice facilities, good food and very good breakfast!! My only suggestion is to put some sunbeds on the beach, at least to sit there and enjoy the view.

The Best of Duqm

This hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. You can tell that they don't get guest very often. The hotel was relatively empty and I got free upgrades. Duqm is working to be the next Dubai and it is off to a good start. The hotel is clean and has some nice features. The internet is a little slow and the food is nothing write home about, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel, but not value for money

I've stayed in the hotel twice. Although rooms are excellent and comfortable with impressive views over the pool area/sea, I felt that the hotel is a bit overpriced. Staff needs better training in customer care while the restaurants offered only a small buffet selection, which was not impressive at all.

3 Tage als Zwischenstopp im Crown Plaza sind eigentlich einer zu viel. Es liegt direkt in Strandnähe und hat eine tolle Beach. Nach links geht zu schönen Felsformationen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, aber häufig nur zur Ostseite mit teilweisem Meerblick. Leider wurde während unseres Aufenthalts der gesamte Coffeeshop mit dem Presslufthammer herausgerissen. Als wir uns darüber muckierten hiess es lapidar: „it is only from 9 to 5“ toll, nur den ganten Tag also. Dafür gab es auch keinerlei Kompensation, ein Cocktail auf Kosten des Hauses wäre ein Zeichen des gute Willens gewesen, ein Abendessen angemessen. Denn das Abendbuffet kostete schlappe 50,- Euro pro Person ! Ein Bier 12 Euro. Das Essen war sehr gut - Frühstück super, aber das fanden wir doch übertrieben. Bis auf den Rock Garden und den Strand kann man in Duqm nichts ansehen.

Endroit idéal pour un séjour reposant avec un joli cadre, même si l'hôtel est éloigné de la ville. Bon restaurant et petit déjeuner.
