One of my best hotel experiences

Was greeted by Kevin who was beyond accommodating. I arrived before normal check in times and not only did he find me a room but upgraded me to a suite because they had no normal rooms available. Everyone else from the wait staff at the restaurant to room service were polite and professional. I will definitely be returning for my future trips to Qatar.

Good location and good hotel for a short trip as it’s in the business district and you can get from here to many other touristy spots by calling uber and taxi. Good value for your money.

Overall this was a nice hotel. The one thing that would have been helpful to know is that the taxi service to the hotel offered by uniformed staff inside the airport is twice the cost of a standard taxi. I learned this by using a standard taxi the next morning to return to the airport.

Lovely Stay

I recently had a great stay at this hotel. The free valet parking and smooth check-in/check-out process were very convenient. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment which was huge and nicely furnished, complete with a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a living room. Although the room could have been cleaned better, it was still good overall. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again for its spacious accommodations and convenience.

Nice hotel, very clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was excellent! The hot tub was slightly cold however this was rectified after I mentioned this to a member of staff.

Service at the Crowne Plaza was excellent - the receptionists at the front desk were particularly kind and helpful and the the suite was immaculate. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

I had a logistics emergency at the airport and needed to quickly find somewhere to stay. I only had my travel bag on me so it was really lovely that the property had all the basic amenities I would need: razor, toothbrush/paste, comb, etc. very comfortable rooms that felt pretty luxurious.

The reservation included free breakfast and dinner. The food was buffet-style with an attendant dishing the food. The food seemed to be left out too long. The pizza I chose was cold when I got back to my seat. A replacement was quickly initiated but took 10 minutes to arrive. Moving on, the bathroom was very uncomfortable. The shower was located in the bathtub, and you had to climb in and out of the bathtub. The water pressure was terrible. The staff outside the restaurant were awesome, especially at the front desk, pool, and car valet. I would stay again only because of the staff and the hope the restaurant improves.

Rooms are very poorly designed. You look right out on a ledge covered with bird poo. This is both bad design and cost savings in not cleaning and protecting the ledge. You also need to scan bags going into the hotel, which suggest security is an issue in the area. So it is a worry knowing you can just walk right in through the next door entrance to the apartments with no security check and into the hotel!

It was short but good

First class customer service! We had just arrived in Doha from a long haul flight from Australia and were absolutely exhausted, and the reception desk attendant very kindly allowed us to check in 3 hours early in order to sleep. It was very much appreciated and was the key to enjoying our stay in Doha. Also the concierge (named Asmee) was brilliant, he helped us plan our day in Doha including organising a trip to the sand dunes for us at short notice, which was loads of fun. He also organised our early morning shuttle to the airport for our next long haul flight, and when he saw that we had accidentally left one of our bags in the lounge area, he called our shuttle driver and took our bag to where the shuttle was so we wouldn’t have to leave without it. Asmee was fantastic and I can’t rate the overall experience at Crowne Plaza Doha Business Park highly enough.

Nice hotel with poor shuttle service system

The stay was nice and comfortable. The only drawback is sporadic shuttle service. The shuttle is A big coaster van without any compartment for luggage. All luggage was put on seats and the shuttle is not specific to this hotel but covers all IHG hotels. Very uncomfortable and crowded ride to airport with suitcases on seats falling on you.

Excellent customer service...

It is a good hotel in general. Stylish, comfortable etc. There was humidity in my room but I think it is not a common problem in that hotel.

Walls are quite thin so it is a little noisy. The walk to the Souq is easy to do. Some way out from the centre but walkable if you enjoy a good stroll (maybe less easy to do in the summer). The pool and bar area is underwhelming and too small and cramped but there's a happy hour from 7pm to 9pm. Staff were all very friendly. My partner and I enjoyed our staff here but it didn't feel like a five star experience.

Liked everything about the hotel. Just would have liked to get the airport shuttle a little more frequent so that we don't have to waste time waiting for the same in the airport

They lied about having an Airport Shuttle...which means to me every hour a shuttle. They don't have that at all....They have a very extremely limited shuttle to and from the airport that only runs from 6 am to about 10 pm at night not for international travelers at all....only for domestic people, The shuttle was not available for my arrival or my departure at all.

Pleasant experience. Comfortable stay- only comment is the airport transfers are at predetermined times and therefore was not suitable to our needs. In another hotel - in another city run by the same group, we were offered multiple airport transfers during the peak times which was very convenient

Very comfortable, very friendly. Currently also very empty which means the atmosphere isn't always great. Local area is very business focused so if you want to leave the hotel you need to hire a taxi or similar.

Avoid 1st floor room above the bar...

the main issue for me was that my room was above a bar which was very noisy, late into the night. I am sure this issue will not be there higher up that the first floor.

The breakfast is rich and delicious . Bed was comfortable.

My stay was absolutely wonderful. The front desk agent remebered me from my stay last year. The staff is exceptional.

Some disappointments

Distinctly booked NON SMOKING room but was put into Smoking room. Requested upper level with view. Was on 2nd floor, no view. Iron was replaced as first one leaked all over my shirt. Replacement also was not so good. .i selected this hotel because my agent said it was close to airport. It is not and also area not so attractive. Apart from the above, the staff were kind and helpful.

Comfortable & relxing for a stopover.

Second stay much better - good room & staff again all very friendly & helpful. Very clean & comfortable, we like the pillow menu & very comfy bed. Breakfast buffet excellent. Swimming pool pleasant & relaxing even in the afternoon. Otherwise menu choices very limited, especially during Ramadan so we ordered room service (careful choices) but the food that came up was excellent & pleasant surprise. As in many places in Doha there are wide boulevards & everything seems very far apart, even if it's across the street on the map so plan on taxis or use what's available in the hotel.
