Great reception, comfortable room after an horrendous flight.

Hotel is quite nice, with a nice spa area. The issue is that it is frequented by large groups of young footballers, who have no disregard for other people using the spa. The spa staff were not able to control them. This ruined the experience. The hotel staff offered us a snack & drink to compensate but it turns out this was literally a bowl of peanuts & water.

I would say if you are looking for somewhere that you can walk around and look around it’s not a great location for that . Not safe for a single traveller. Also I had an item from my room taken into lost and found when I was out for the day ? No idea why but apparently they thought I left ? Odd when I booked 2 nights. So average stay. Food in the restaurant however was delicious and the staff were friendly. If you need a taxi I suggest Uber only as local taxis all tried to charge different amounts for same journey .

It is my home whenever I return to Bucharest. The entire staff goes over their standard duties to accommodate the needs for my 3-year old and I. The breakfast amazing, oakleaf salad for lunch or dinner my absolute choice number 1. Risotto yummy, the sauna soo relaxing, parking so easy and affordable. Last time the staff helped me to put my luggage in my car as my daughter was sleeping and could not leave her alone. Crowne Plaza for life! Bianca

Very friendly and helpfull staff

My daughter and I always return to Crowne Plaza and feel at home. Everyone is catering for our needs and help us with a genuine smile. Love the bedding quality, the fruit presents, the taxi services, the body/hair wash/lotion fragrance, the amazing breakfast choices, the tasty dinners and all the staff. They all treat us amazingly and make our stay so much pleasant. Thank you, Crowne Plaza! You are our home in Romania!

Located relatively close (in between) to airport and also downtown .

Tasteful breakfast with personalized yummy omelettes cooked by a heartful chef who gave my daughter a rose as a present and came to our table to ensure my daughter was eating. Good bed linen, comfortable mattress, relaxing music during dinner time. Amazing front desk staff who went over the mile to help us find a solution with our transportation from a previous location to Crowne Plaza. Look forward to returning in 6 days!

Nice hotel in Bucharest

This is an excellent hotel. It's location makes it easy to get to both the airport and the city center. It's also located within walking distance of the Romexpo, in fact they have a gate that allows guests direct easy access. The spa and the fitness center are great. The restaurant is delicious. The bed is comfortable and they quickly accommodated my request for a special pillow. The staff was universally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay for 1 night

Great location, I wanted a hotel close to Airport and to Therme Bucharest. In addition the service in the hotel is unbelievably great, from reception, baggage and taxi service staff, pool staff and dining room staff. The hotel is in great condition, facilities are not missing, parking inside, highly recommended!

Quiet and surrounded by gardens

The hotel has been very clean and beyond my expectations. The lobby was decorated in an amazing way. The breakfast was the best we’ve seen in Romania. The variety of choices were great including the fresh made juices. The room is big enough and quite cozy too.

Does the job

The hotel reminds me of a night club in the 1990s. The staff are either really good or slightly below average . Big shout out for Ana who works in the restaurant, she is excellent despite her manager more interested in his phone than the customers. A big thanks to the cleaning ladies also, they were very good.

Enjoyable Stay

I had a great stay at this hotel - first the lobby is gorgeous and spacious, and reception was very helpful upon my arrival… The rooms are clean and nice, i stayed in the junior executive suite, the large room and balcony suited me well, parts of the decor on property have a mid - late 90’s look, with that said - they’ve done their best to make the room feel modern. The restaurant downstairs is very good, i do recommend it. Overall i recommend this hotel, location and helpful staff makes this a place i’ll definitely stay again when in bucharest.

My times in Bucharest, and the Crowne were nothing less than fantastic.. I arrived there on the 24th of September and came back to the United States around the 30th of September!! I had so much fun enjoying and immersing myself in the Romanian culture of foods, people, of the local Baneasa Mall, a wonderful road trip with a new friend of mine named Mario, and as well the surprise birthday event of my times with a beautiful woman named Denisa! The hotel staff was incredible, my daily breakfasts were mouth watering (THOSE omelettes!) and my sleepovers were both relaxing and quite honestly more quiet than I expected

Excellent hotel.

Would highly recommend an outstanding hotel for your future business or leisure stay in Bucharest,Romania. This hotel has the best possible wifi for your Zoom meetings, fantastic rooms with impeccable bedding, an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of high end items to choose from; small amenities in the room to make your stay more comfortable such as a nicely stocked minibar, a kettle with a nice selection of teas and coffee, a couple of bottles of mineral water; marvellous furniture and wall-to-wall carpet. The staff is highly professional and knowledgeable.Additionally, it has a very convenient business corner with a working colour and black and white printer. For after hours would highly recommend a drink at the lobby bar with a cigar cabinet to choose from, and of course, for your rest and relaxation, suggest a couple of laps in the adjacent swimming pool with a great spa to unwind after a long business day. Overall, I would grade this hotel as the best hospitality choice in the whole of Bucharest.

Hotel is excellent . Nice quiet location , very nice room , very clean , excellent breakfast , excellent services . my last time stayed in this hotel was 2011. i suggested as it was excellent.

Good hotel, convenue to for the business park

It has a friendly atmosphere, enhanced by being low-level (only 3 storeys). Excellent conference facilities and technical support. The hotel is quite a distance from the main city so not ideal for sight-seeing.

Place to work and relax

Great place, the best gym I’ve seen in a hotel. Amazing pool sauna and jacuzzi outdoor.

We like the spa services, the breakfast, the room, the bar service, the receptionists and the personell in general. Everything.

A lot of work is in progress but this did not stop the hotel being as friendly and professional as seen in my past visits. It is always a pleasure to stay here

Great looking hotel and great room. Tv stopped working many times when on channel 29 watching soccer game with steaua Bucharest on August 2nd. Could not watch it. Incredible noise from neighboring guests on July 31st at 3-4am. Could not sleep because of partying and screaming.

This is an excellent hotel. It is ideally located for a late arrival to Bucharest or an early departure. As such, however, it is far from ideal for those who want to explore downtown Bucharest. Having said that, it is located near to a very attractive park area, a lake and some excellent, if pricey by Romanian standards, restaurants.

Same exemplary standards

This is not my first stay at the Crowne Plaza in Bucharest and the level of professionalism and high standards have not changed. The staff; whether in reception, restaurant, bar or room cleaning/service are always friendly and eager to help. The hotel and rooms are spotless and extremely comfortable, actually a joy to stay in.

As always with this hotel the room and facilities were immaculate, the service exemplary and the overall stay was perfect.

excellent amenities, friendly staff and comfy rooms. the only weakness is the restaurant, where the food quality is mediocre and prices are high for local budgets.

Avoid. Inconvenient

This hotel is located a long way (40 minutes in traffic) from downtown Bucharest. It is plagued by unscrupulous Taxi drivers even if one follows the taxi order system. This leaves the hotel' scar service which is as expensive as the Taxi touts (i.e. 4 times greater than one should be paying!)

Lousy service and poor food at exorbitant prices

I arrived at the Crowne plaza early - around 10h30 - and was told predictably that I couldn't check in. I waited around the lobby for two hours, and seeing others being checked in, i tried again and was told again - rudely - that the rooms were not yet ready. Two o'clock was the promised time - as per the already paid reservation. By 14h35 I asked firmly to be allowed to occupy the rooms I had paid for and was grudgingly and again rudely checked in. The miserable girl on reception could have told me - why don't we offer you a free cup of coffee in the bar while you wait, and stirred herself to come over to tell me when finally the room was free. The lunch I was obliged to eat in the restaurant to pass the time was ridiculously expensive and lousy quality.. the tuna salad for example was a tin of tuna, half a dozen cherry tomatoes and a few olives. breakfast was unexciting - very poor as regards pastries. I have stayed in all major hotel chains, including in Bucharest, and including Crowne Plaza all over Europe. I have stayed in at least ten different hotels in Bucharest and this is the one I would not recommend event to my worst enemy.

It was a very short but enjoyable stay! I highly recommend this hotel.

James Bond style establishment in a green area

Outside the city centre and relatively close to Otopeni airport, this is a comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, up-to-date bathrooms, good quality bedding and pleasant enough check-in and out experiences. Room service food was quite acceptable. There was an exercise bike in my room: a first in my experience, but definitely a nice touch.

One night in Bucharest

Business trip for meeting. Checked in early afternoon. The hotel was located near to a green recreation area with a lake and many restaurants. In the hotel lobby I found information about jogging routes in the neighborhood. I Spent the evening using the excellent fitness and spa facilities at the hotel before taking a meal at the restaurant. There was an excellent Italian buffet at the restaurant with an amazing range of starters, main courses and desserts. Relaxed in the sauna and swimming pool later before turning in. I had an early start in the morning and ordered breakfast in the room for 6 am. I went to the gym afterwards before starting my day.

Short stay for business. Hotel was well located and had all necessary amenities and a reasonably sized indoor pool. Our room had been updated and was modern and clean. The food was a high point and good value. Even though customer service levels could be improved, I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Coming from the US this place felt like home. Very clean rooms with an overall comfortable atmosphere. Just note the mini-bar is not a requirement yet they state it like it is to get some more from you. Overall I would stay here again.

Great stay in Bucharest.

Excellent hotel with everything you would expect from a top class hotel. The only minus is that it is a few kilometers from the center - so if you have a car no problem but if not it might be s bit far out.

The hotel itself was lovely very welcoming and cozy the quality of service from the staff espically the receptionists was incredible we had a lovely stay and those beds and pillows are the comfiest iv ever slept on anywhere we travel around the world crown plaza is always our first choice as were always guaranteed the best nights sleep :-)

This is a nice hotel with all the facilities you can ask for (restaurants, gym, swimming pool...). Very nice rooms - good size, perfect comfort. Unfortunately the service was a little bit below the expectations...

This is very lovely hotel.

Perfect for our need to be close to airport. Taxi was cheaper than hotel shuttle by far and desk clerk called for us. 10 p.m. cafe service was high quality with outstanding help from waiter. This hotel has a relaxing ambiance, upbeat vibe, but quiet with a feeling of intimacy. Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful without trying "too hard." We highly recommend.
