Heavy constrcution around the area makes so hard to get around. TAXI always missed thr entrance to drive in to hotel, and i had multiple times miss taxi due to driver couldnt drive in to the hotel parking lot.
Nice place
Good
Nice and clean hotel around the airport! But far from Beijing center. Only for people who need to stay in that area.
Crown Plaza Airport Beijing
Friendly staff, the hotel is in immaculate condition. With free airport shuttle - pre booking required. Accessible to nearby shop and train station around 15-20 minutes walk.
Rooms smelled of cigarette smoke and not as close to airport as indicated on Expedia. Shuttle to and from airport is just one an hour. Better to book the Hilton which has more frequent shuttle buses from the airport. Staff were helpful though.
Comfortable stay
Very easy comfortable transit stopover. Made use of swimming pool and free shuttle service between airport.
Nice stay
Great place and worth the money. 3 great restaurants. Just wish has a better bar.
Clean, convenient, and comfortable
Very clean. The staff was friendly.
Great staff and good facilities- close to airport after flight delay
Good
Well good service!
Good services. Clean.
I did not have high expectation on a 3-star hotel but this hotel in Beijing has everything that a 4-star hotel offers in the US and Europe. The hotel staffs were friendly and efficient. My check-in was quick and the staff helped to bring my suitcase to my room. The room was spacious and quiet. It included nearly everything you could possibly need, even soft slippers and a robe. The shuttle to the airport was quick. The staff helped to put my suitcases in the shuttle and the driver helped to take them down on the curb near the terminal entrance. Very smooth and pleasant stay.
Only spent the night before flying out. Hotel is close to the airport so that’s a plus
-
Very quiet room. Staff very professional and helpful in both English and Chinese.
If you want to stay at this hotel choose he new building tower 2, because tower 1 is very old
Awesome place to rest during a long transit. High class and affordable! Will always stay here while transiting in Beijing.
Food is good and staffs are very nice.
Building is pretty old, breakfast taste not good.
Not the crown plaza experience
It's not typical of Crowne plaza experience, close to airport is only + Buffet breakfast most focused to locals. Energy and lively part of hotel is missing. Room service hardly anyone responds
Room need immediate renovation
Not all facilities as advertised is available but overall hotel is not bad. Clean, well maintained, and rooms are spacious.
This is supposedly a 5 star hotel but it wasn’t a 5 star experience. There was no mini fridge in the room so we just drank room temp water. The AC control is just for show as the temp didn’t really change no matter how much you fidget with the settings. There isn’t a grocery or convenience store within walking distance. Shower is outdated and toilet doesn’t flush well. You’ll get an occasional whiff of sewage from the toilet. Wallpaper is peeling… Also had someone cut us in line at checkout while we were waiting for over 5 mins. The front desk lady was going to let her cut us until I said something. Will be staying elsewhere next time
The room was very nice. Super nice shower! It is very close to the airport but plan for 30 minutes during rush hour. It is 40. Minutes to the forbidden city during regular traffic but can take two hours long during rush hour. The service was good but the phone lines are not easy to get through. There is not much around the hotel. There is a KFC and a hotpot restaurant next door. The restaurant in the building was good but pricy. The Carrefour stopped operating probably due to CoVID. Very nice to stay for one or two nights before going to the airport. Would consider again.
Brakfast
Nice environment and warm welcome atmosphere
We checked in and got into the room with strong smoke smell. And staff changed our room right away. New room was not clean with a lot of stains on carpet. Shower was not working properly and no hair dryer. Called and asked with no response. Poor internet connection and called several times with still poor internet connection.
The hotel staffs are very attentive. Our flight arrived very late at night and the hotel was able to get the free shuttle available to pick us up at 11:30 pm. Convenient location - 15 minutes away from the airport, 2 minutes walk to Starbucks and KFC or PizzaHut
Transit stop
Great place to stay over for a transit
Close to airport
Lousy to almost nonexistent shuttle service. You pretty much have to arrange your own transportation to the airport. Despite the closeness to the airport, you can missed your flight due to the traffic
The first room assigned was a little smelly, however, the front desk was happy to changed to a different room which was very clean with no bad smell. Two front desk stuffs Vincent and Edward, and all other stuffs, were very friendly and helped out from check in to check out. Definitely will stay here during my next Beijing trip.
No drip coffee in the room
Good
Nice
I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It is very nearby to the airport just a few minutes drive the staff here is welcoming and also able to meet all requests. Food is easily to be delivered here. I would highly recommend this to any traveler coming to Beijing.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist
Beat down hotel condition
Didn’t know English at all. All the people checking in were using google translate to communicate with the concierge hostess. The carpet in the rooms were dirty with stains. I stayed in tower two and looked pretty beat down.
Exactly what I was looking for.
Convenient location, great breakfast, great service and free shuttle to the airport
Coffee was bad
Hot room
Was no air condition they are controlling the system It was hot in my room couldn't sleep
Great hotel. Very nice staff. Alvaro helped us a lot with transportation options. Thanks for the stay, I will be back.
Amazing customer service, very nice property and great breakfast
The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. We arrived late on 9/16/23. The hotel was supposed to send a shuttle to pick us up at Gate 5, but was a no-show. Since we do not have a Chinese cell phone, we had no choice but to wait. Eventually, we were able to borrow a phone from a passenger to call the hotel. The concierge told us the hotel van was broken. They were not able to pick us up from the airport. Finally the hotel staff stationed at the airport called an Uber for us. Once arrived at the hotel at midnight, the front desk and concierge apologized and offered a suite for the inconvenience. Stayed just a few hours to catch the early morning flight. In general, the front desk service was good. Room is clean and very quite. Happy for a 5 hours stay.
The facility was very old. The bathroom had a drainage problem but the customer service only wanted to send someone to repair. It was 10 pm already. I had to go to the front desk to beg for another room!
Needing some help
Hotel was old and the halls need new carpeting room was okay for the age of hotel, but they need to update this hotel! Staff was great !
Staff members are very nice and helpful. They have shuttle to the international airport which is a big plus to me.
good services, clean room
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast
Good hotel, clean rooms and all the necessities. Had some trouble with shuttle to the hotel first, but the staff was very apologetic and made up for it.
Beijing October 2021
The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The staff very friendly. The only thing I did not enjoy was the lack of air conditioning. It was hard to sleep with the warm room.
Deceptive Pictures of Rooms
The stay was disappointing. We asked for two double beds and got two single beds. How can three people sleep in such a room? The manager gave an excuse that all hotels were like this in China, which is not true. I will not be staying again.
Breakfast is good. Shuttle bus to airport, convenience. Nice staff.
I don’t know about you but I like to read a few random reviews before I book a hotel or purchase a large item, this hotel was no exception. I read good and bad reviews about the breakfast and honestly, for $15 dollars I thought it was good and kind of fun. If you’re a picky eater I could see how it wouldn’t be appealing. I liked the variety to chose from, something for everyone. The hotel itself was clean and modern enough. There are 2 gyms, one that’s open 24 hours with decent equipment and free weights. The room I got was just okay. The carpet needed replacing and a few things seemed tired but overall it was fabulous for the price and the convenience of a free hotel shuttle. I travel for a living and stay mostly at Marriott, I will be going back to this hotel. I hope this helps your decision : )
The hotel location is good. Next to super market, pasty shop, hair salon and restaurant...... but the hotel is old. The room is very small. It’s ok for staying one night because we were flying back to the states next morning. I will not go back to this hotel for sure.
The rooms are in horrible conditions and very dirty
"Free Shuttle" was AWOL
Not a bad place..but did not offer a shuttle from the airport. Customer Service Rep at airport put me in a "taxi" then when I arrived, told me that 200RMB was due for the drive. My stay was just for a layover, so I did not have a chance to do anything but sleep.
This was the perfect hotel for an overnight Beijing international transfer flight. Staff was exceptional and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. The beds were firm but comfortable and rooms were clean. I would stay there again.
Great hotel if you have an early flight
Near the airport with free shuttle buses leaving every 30mins. Services were excellent and offered us a free upgrade despite we were only staying for one night.
Room was large and well equipped; it is rare to find conditioner and weighing scale in hotel rooms. Check-in, however, could be worked on. Official check-in time on Expedia states 2pm, yet when I arrived at 1.10pm, I was told there are no rooms available, and that I should come back and try checking in again around 5pm. This is ridiculous, especially when check-out time is at noon. I had to tell the frontdesk staff I am okay with a twin bed room instead of a king bed in my original booking, only then did she ask me to come back after 2pm to try checking in again. When I was in line waiting to check out the next day, there was, unfortunately, ill-mannered guests going up to the counter without queueing. None of the three frontdesk staff on duty bothered to help me with my check-out first, when I have been waiting in line. Frontdesk service staff definitely needs further training. Staff in charge of airport shuttle were much more helpful in getting me a private-hire car to the airport in time.
I have requested for a nearby rooms for my children. And that request was provided like 2 or 3 months before the trip. And yet they gave us same floor end to end. First room in the front and the other room in the farthest end. Wow. And even I offered to pay more still request denied. Having your children nearby is very important especially when visiting a foreign country. Room is ok. Dusty in a few corners. Staff are courteous.
Great place for an overnight layover at PEK. The only minus was the shuttle—rundown vehicle and a long wait at PEK.
a good experience
Not a good experience. Rooms were dirty. Old Furnitures torn curtains
Unpleasant. Would go for somewhere else
The stay was overall unpleasant. 1. Before I arrived the hotel, I took the hotel shuttle bus. I was laughed at/looked down upon by the buss driver coz I asked what the Chinese name of the hotel is. This is because although I am a Chinese, I booked on the English version of Hotel.com. It is not able for me to translate the hotel name precisly. The driver just told me to look at the bus body for the Chinese name. 2. After checked in the hotel, we asked whether the hotel could help us call the posting service. Strangely, the front desk told us their service department could help us, but they would charge us an extra 200 RMB. We asked whether we could ask for the posting service by ourselves, they replied no. This is very strange becasue We believe theoretically, a hotel has no right to prevent anyone to all the posting service. So we did call and posted the items by us own. I think they front desk's information is very misleading. They just want to cheat for more money if you are not local people but need some help. 3. We went to the room. Overall cleaness is ok tbh, but not exceptional for a hotel labelling themselves 5 Star. I paid for a room of 3 peolple and added around 30 pounds when I booked the room. The room intro said the room has two double beds and is around 34m2. However, when I entred the room, the room was very disappointing with two single beds. The room is no bigger than a double room. They provided one set of tooth brush for a room booked for 3 people.
The large room is great. Working desk is great. Sofa could be better. Some items in the Breakfast were not good. The staff who handled coffee station was very friendly. Coffee was good.
In transit to Sapporo
new experience, first time to china and in transit. Nothing much to tell. Hotel room was not so great, a bit rusty.
Older carpets with stain. Entry lock on door had to be replaced, could not leave room locked until it was fixed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Chinese restaurant was very poor quality food, staff there needs better customer service skills too. Just not what I expected for a 4 star hotel.
Although I am not an elite member of this chain, they treated me very warmly and were very helpful. It is also very close to the airport.
We had a unique problem which the manager, Allan Wang, who did more than help our situation. He facilitated (due to the language barrier) reclaiming our lost luggage from a train station 2 hours away! Thanks to him we were able to leave the next day with our luggage! A manager of the highest caliber!
I stayed here for one night, while waiting for my flight to the US the next day. I definitely enjoyed my stay. The room was big and really clean, with a very comfortable armchair and footrest, with a beautiful, plush king-sized bed. The wifi speed was pretty good, and they even have foreign channels on the TV (though the reception is much better for the local channels). They have a few exercise rooms, with nice modern equipment and even some free weights. I heard they have a pool but I wasn't able to check it out. I ate at the Chinese restaurant and the Japanese one, too, and the food at both places was excellent. The staff at the Japanese restaurant spoke English very well. The hotel staff in general was pretty good with their English, extremely helpful with all my questions, and definitely made me feel like they wanted to take good care of me. The gentleman at the concierge, with whom I had made my shuttle bus appointment hours earlier, came on the bus after I was already on board to make sure the shuttle bus driver knew which terminal I needed to go to (and of course this means they have free shuttle service to/from the airport). I will definitely stay at the Crowne Plaza next time I'm in Beijing.
the hotel was quite clean and welcoming, the staff was willing to help at all times.
Recommended as a travel hotel at Beijing
Very nice hotel near the airport and great room. My only issue was the room temperature.
Closed to the airport, around 15 minutes drive from the airport; the shuttle service between airport and hotel made it very convenient, although needing to call in advance to “book” with the hotel. In general, the hotel’s staff were helpful, but, unfortunately, a few at the reception were not... that aside, would definitely recommend the hotel for those transiting or have business in that area.
Average for the price...
Bit tired, expensive bar, grumpy reception staff, shuttle bus v slow to arrive. Good location breakfast fine.
It's convenient to take the hotel shuttle from/to Airport. 24 hours cafeteria is excellent, even though the food price is little expensive.
Shuttle service for airport pick up was late and we had to wait for more than an hour at the terminal. Communication is challenging. Most staff do speak English but they don't always understand what you are asking them. Breakfast and Food at the western style restaurant was average. The Chinese restaurant was better. The room was clean but outdated. A lot of wear and tear. Traffic noise was noticable even with window shut. Location is great for just getting to the airport but thete is nothing else around the hotel to visit.
All was pleasant and predictable. No surprises The breakfast in the morning was well prepared. I did not have transportation from the airport to the hotel upon arrival, but got a free transport from the hotel to the airport. All in all, the experience was excellent.
The breakfast buffet was huge and had Chinese, Japanese, American style and Continental breakfast options - pretty much anything you could wish for. Very good! Room was very nice, bed comfortable, bathroom big and nice. Carpet in the hallways a little worn in spots, I did have a massage at the spa which was very good, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle to the airport was every half hour and super convenient. I would stay here again if I needed to be close to Beijing International Airport!
This hotel overall was pretty amazing, close to the airport and all. The only thing was that it wasn't close to many good restaurants
Hair and dust everywhere all over the room including in the bed. Disappointing and tired decor, staff changed room which was adequate
Air conditioning barely worked, took 14 hours to drop 2.5 degrees in the hot summer. Bathroom towels feel kind of old, definitely need new ones. Restaurants are relatively too expensive comparing to the disappointing environment and mediocre service.
Overall ok. On check in they wanted to charge me about $50 a night to upgrade to a king room. I had already reserved the king room at the upgraded price on the website. They tried to charge me again another $100 for my 2 nights.
Has so much potential, if it fixes its failures
Crowne Plaza Airport Beijing has so much potential, but some areas fail to live up to the standards that are typically expected at a Crowne Plaza. And most of this comes down to Management, not the abilities of the general staff. For example, the service from the front door up to the room is stellar with someone greeting and helping me with bags at the revolving doors and housecleaning does their very best to ensure my room is clean and tidy every day. However, signage at the front entry is peeling and carpets are worn while wallpaper is peeling. These are reflections of an unwillingness by the hotel to upkeep the property. Meanwhile, the hotel is in a terrific location near the airport, their transfer service is efficient and timely, and there are a number of reasonable dining choices nearby and the subway is also close in case you prefer that over a taxi. So overall a good stay and I'd consider going back, but was just surprised about the condition of this Crowne Plaza.
The interior is is a 7 for China Mainland. Do not waste your time at the Spa though; very weak and extremely over priced for China.
Convenient, good breakfast but hallway has smoke smell
Convenient and comfortable.
The hotel is good for a transit stay, close to the airport with a regular shuttle service. Staff were good the room comfortable.
The bathroom wasn’t clean. The room door had oily finger marks on it and the glass shelves had a good layer of dust on it. Toilet bowl wasn’t clean.
We were pleased with the entrance of the hotel as it made a positive first impression as we walked in. Additionally, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
Great location, close to the PEK Airport, with shuttle service every 30 minutes. 15 minutes to Terminal 3, where most international flights depart, and 20 minutes away from T2. Very quiet even it is close to one of the busiest airports in the world. Friendly staff. Since Hotels.com forgot to transmit the 2 double beds requirements for the Super Room (see attached screen capture as I booked it specifically for this), the front desk lady managed to find a room with a sofa bed set up as we checked in midnight. Thank you!
Rooms are not well maintained. Dirty and wrinkled wall paper. Dirty carpet. Tear and wear not fixed. Terrible shuttle bus driver who didn’t open the door for the guest. The guest has to knock on the bus to be let in. No good restaurants nearby. Not worth the price
Bad service
The stuff dress up need to improve . Tidy up a bit. The carpet to the room is messy and dirty. I sense the management has changed.. I don’t feel comfort as earlier stay.
Disappointing
Having just stayed at two other Crowne Plazas, this hotel disappointed me. Carpet old and worn, mold in the shower room and very cheap looking. Also, more than 3.5 km away from the airport. About 7 km
Good. Decent Gymnasium. Food variety is less. Good Swimming pool.
Carpet old and worn. Room needs refreshing. Restaurant and Lobby nice. .
Very good choice for a short layover.
A short lay over, so Very good location for airport. Smart public areas, well appointed comfortable room. Bar fridge was empty, which was the only disappointment. Hotel staff were excellent. Airport transfer, adequate. Rate was very good for level of amenities and service.

nice hotel close to airport, convenient for overnight stay for connection
