It was very nice

Great spa and breakfast

Our stay at Crown House B&B was excellent. Cindy was a great host and made us feel welcome. She has a huge salt water spa/hot tub which was so relaxing. The breakfast was superb!

We loved our Crown House stay and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys cozy surroundings, an excellent breakfast, and a relaxing hot tub after a long day on the road. Would stay again.

Thanks for the comfortable stay. Really amazing breakfasts (we didn't need to eat lunch there was so much!), and the fact that we were vegetarian was no issue at all. Our room was cute and cozy and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. I was sad we didn't have time to use the spa pool due to visiting family/being out all day, it looked great.

The hot tub and the breakfast was the good stuff. The dated room, unpleasant check in (remove shoes, climb stairs to hear the long list of rules, I was told payment was completed but it wasnt) old furnishings, dangerous path out to hot tub including manouvering around hoses left laying on path, no choices for breakfast, no clean outdoor seating area. We won't be back for sure.

The whole experience was excellent. The breakfast was amazing.

The room was large and very comfortable. Especially enjoyed the large spa/hot tub. It was unlike anything we had ever seen. Great to relax in after a long day. Breakfast was delicious.

Most helpful, Hazel being a Vegan was not an issue with breakfast.

Nice clasic B&B close to the lake and the tubing starting point. The room was clean and quite, and the breakfast was very good. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

On cycle trip and were happy to find this lovely B and B. Well located within 10 minutes of local amenities. Quiet location with outside space to enjoy a glass of wine. Nice breakfast.

Great location with close proximity to town of Lake Cowichan. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Hearty, large-portion breakfasts were served at a scheduled time that was agreeable to both us and the host (anywhere between 6-10 am). Breakfasts items included omelettes, waffles, bagels, yogurt parfaits. Our room had a very comfortable Queen Bed and 3 piece ensuite bath. Although the bedroom was on the main, it was very private and quiet. Our room also opened on to a upper wrap-around deck with a private table & chairs for us to enjoy. Definitely recommend!

The room we had was very comfortable and pleasant. Cindy even provided a super-quiet fan which was quite appreciated. With the exception of a couple of cobwebs, the room was pristine and lovely. But the coup de grace has to be the hostess's breakfast! We couldn't finish it, but very, very tasty. And our hostess was very kind and helpful.

Great breakfast, wonderful staff. Not a ton to do in the town, but a nice stay nonetheless.

The room was clean and the shower perfect with my disability. The bed was extremely comfortable. The little patio was comfortable to look over the lake. Breakfast was very good.

Very nice bed and breakfast close to lake and town

We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to the lake to swim and then back to the B&B to shower and then walk into town for dinner. The breakfast we were served was delicious and filing!

Lovely b and b

Lovely room, balcony with table and chairs. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. No fridge, kettle or coffee maker in room so had to keep asking owners for hot water (no problem though). Town bigger than expected with a few places to eat and a supermarket. Lovely scenery. Friendly, welcoming owners.

Good location close to Cowichan Lake

Excellent hot breakfast! Very comfortable bed with balcony, robes, Netflix, nice windows to let in fresh air, clean. The hostess gave us excellent ideas to visit Averill Winery with our picnic lunch and to visit a westholme tea farm which was an exceptional experience!

Cindy was fabulous. Room was very nice, clean, comfortable with balcony and great views of the mountains. It's an attached room to the house upstairs with owners who are very pleasant. Great to spend a night while passing though. Love this little town!

No TV channels available. Intermittent internet connection. Great bed.

Hard to beat in cowichan

Host and hostess very welcomimg. Afternoon tea when we arrived. Informative about the area. Room immaculate. Very well set up for disabled access. Enormous home cooked breakfast with quality ingredients. We chatted with another couple for over an hour over breakfast before leaving.

We definitely got our money's worth.

This B&B is great. The room was perfectly spacious, clean & comfortable. The food was very tasty and almost overly plentiful with a nice variety over our three day stay. Cindy,our host, was always available and ready to meet our every whim. Top-notch indeed.

Zentrale Lage am See. Restaurant, Museum sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Unterkunft ist allerdings nicht mehr in Top-Zustand. Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt daher nicht.

Easy to find, room is normal/smaller size, but large enough to stay/sleep. Host wen above and beyond for a wonderful breakfast, as well as for local recommendations, that was highly appreciated!

Herzlicher Aufenthalt

Sehr nette und freundliche offene Gastgeber, die sich um alle Annehmlichkeiten gekümmert haben. Ein sehr leckeres und reichliches frisch zubereitetes Frühstück mit guter Morgenunterhaltung. Wenn sich die Möglichkeit nochmal ergeben sollte, würden wir sofort wieder hier übernachten.

deux nuits à Lake Cowichan pour se balader dans la région on a reçu un super accueil au Crown house avec une hôtesse qui nous a donné plein de renseignements sur quoi voir. On a eu droit a de supers petits déjeuners les 2 matins et à un câlin pour notre départ. une adresse à partager
