Xmas in Mississauga

I was looking forward to this hotel because it was one of the newer ones in the area. My girlfriend and I entered the lobby area to a woman that was yelling and frustrated at the staff due to the the fact that her car was stolen over night and another car was broken into. This stressed my girlfriend out because the front desk told her that the hotel doesn't have cameras, which is crazy for a newer hotel. I had to park her car at a friends house 20min away because she had a new car. The overall stay at the hotel was good, room was clean, washroom had essentials and pool area was relaxing plus Starbucks on site was bonus. The check in and out process was fast and efficient. The staff wasn't the greatest experience because my girlfriend forgot her robe behind the washroom door and she called soon as she released when she got home the same day. She called several times and was lied by the front desk that it wasn't there. The front desk was a guy, that lacked professionalism and was rude through out the process. He told her that he spoke to the housekeeping manager and they didn't find it. When my girlfriend spoke to the hotel manager, he said housekeeping manager has been off. He lied and got caught and didn't apologize. My advice is better customer service training for the future staff members. Overall, hotel was great, staff members below standard. 3.5/5

We were there over Christmas and hot tub was broken. Other than that the room was terrific and the food was good

The hotel is conveniently located. Very clean and well maintained. Bed comfortable and bedsheet smells so clean. I highly recommend it. Believe me this is the best.

Great location. Walking distance to LCBO, and various food choices from hotel. Free Parking - not the largest parking lot but you should be able to find a spot. Great staff. Clean pool and hot tub. Room clean. Will absolutely return.

Very clean and spacious.

Washroom does not have a proper working exhaust and water started dripping from the vent on the ceiling above toilet luckily it was on the morning we have to checkout.

Enjoyed our stay, clean and big rooms. Staff at check-in were friendly and provided a complimentary upgrade. We had an issue with the coffee maker in the room which was taken care of quickly. Overall,nice place for a getaway!

We flew in from Orlando to Buff NY, then over to Canada- Toronto. We stayed 30 min out from the CN tour to experience rural and City. This hotel was close to everything local, super clean, ample space rooms, super clean and absolutely an A plus on customer service. Lobby has Starbucks and Bistro and very large indoor heated pool and outside patio. We highly recommend to purchase Breakfast with your options as Biatro can be pricey if not included in room fare. We were there Dec 10th, ample free parking. Money well spent! We drove to CN tower and Aquarium 30 min drive and all other sites. From there you can drive North to experience Canada.

Clean and bright

It's the second time for us at the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto/Mississauga and we'll definitely go back. There is a lot of commodities around and the staff is very nice.

Staying at two Marriott in different locations on the same weekend is good perspective on the conditions. This property was not as well cared for as one might expect of the brand. Cleaning and maintenance could be improved and the towels are not up to standards.

Hotel was nice, no complaints; however, no shuttle to airport and you cannot park your car there while away.

The property was clean, elegant in appearance, well maintained and staff were very polite. They even had the heat going when we arrived, so that the room want cold when we walked in. The TV was on and it had a welcome message on it for us, with our name on it. We appreciated the personal touch. Apart from needing a few more towels, the toiletries were adequate. Lotion and a bar of soap were provided and the shower housed 3 containers filled with; conditioner, shampoo and bodywash. The room was neat and tidy, well dressed and modern. I would recommend that the garbage bin and recycle bin be replaced with larger ones, as every food item or product used now are all packaged and the bins fill up pretty quickly. All in all, a great stay. Thank you!

Overall a very nice hotel. Room was comfortable. A couple small faults. -glasses in the rooms were dirty/dusty -there was no headboard on the bed. - hand bar soap in the bathroom that was old and cracked up couldn’t use it. Just tells me nobody has been in that room for a while. I would still go back to this property.

Bedding Needs Addressing

The stay would have been amazing, but they do not use fitted sheets on the bed. It's a flat sheet that slides all over the mattress. The room was large and spacious. Perfect for our group. There were things in the room that showed use, but nothing that we couldn't handle. However, the lacking fitted sheet was a total disappointment!!! A room that cost almost $300 for the night should have decent sheets on the bed.

Wifi not working properly and reached the staff they gave customer service number. However, the wifi is disconnecting frequently.

AVOID - There's no room service at this hotel. They'll tell you when you get there that it's done every two days but even then....In this day and age, this is just unacceptable. At the very least, they should mention it when customers try to book so that it's not a complete surprise.

Nice rooms and experience

Tv was spotty at best,kind of broken, hdmi port did not work and wall mount was unsteady, just like the WIFI, so if your working it can be tough. Fridge in the room froze everything rock solid, only one setting. Staff was excellent, hotel is pretty good overall, i may have just had a not so great room. I might stay again, location is good!

Exhaust fans should be in bathrooms. Carpet inside the room needs cleaning. Felt some weird smell from it.

First time stay excellent place!

It was a quiet area, very accessible to shopping place.

Once iI check-in, they gave me a room where the TV is broken. So they transfer me to another room. I noticed the foot stool that is present in the previous room is missing in that room. I also noticed a splash of liquid that dried up on the wallpaper that hasn’t been cleaned. The smell of the pillows is like it hasn’t been washed properly. The staff is courteous. But not enough for me to stay there again. Marriot should do some quality control on this property.

Liked the quiet environment. However, breakfast location area too small.

We arrived late after a long day of travel only to be screwed around and no room available. We had our reservation and emails to proof it and even then the customer service was terrible. After multiple calls we were put in the middle of 2 managers arguing about the situation while my 3 kids got to witness this and wonder what’s going on. We sat around from 10:00 PM to 2:00 Am. I ended up having to book and pay for additional rooms. What a great experience all around from all parties including Expedia who was the biggest player in this situation. Thank you

Customer service was great! Amenities were great but the room had so much random hair especially on the bed. My partner and I had to remake the bed entirely ourselves in order lay down. Even the fresh sheets had hair and this took like 2 hrs of your time

Quick and easy check in, nice presentation of the room, the room was a great size, the bed was very comfortable and the space in the shower and water pressure were perfect.

The room was ok. The toilet paper holder was broken, the heating unit was really loud and I had to turn it off at night. The lock on the door was also broken and the lamp behind the sofa was bent out of shape. The breakfast service was awful and a colleague waited over 40 minutes for oatmeal. Dinner service wasn’t any better. Food took a long time and was microwaved so it was pretty terrible. Drink service was non existent and after going to the counter to get a drink, there was no selection as they didn’t have any mixes. But it is super close to a grocery store and other restaurants so proximity is a 10/10.

I was given a lot of attitude by staff and mean gestures because i was walking around the hotel dressed as a woman that did not make me comfortable at all

We were 4 ladies sharing one room and we had lots of room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t hear a peep of noise from any other people, and there was a girl’s hockey team there. We had left stuff on the beds when we left for the day, so housekeeping came back that evening to see if we wanted the beds changed and made, but we declined because we were leaving the next morning. It was a great choice to stay.

Staff was very friendly and polite Responded to queries. However the rooms especially the carpet need upgrade unsure if the carpet is dirty or old and worn. The dead bolts did not work, changed room and still did not work. Room should have been cleaned on 2nd day of stay it was not. However staff was responsive to bring clean towels and empty garbage when we returned late the night. Needs TLC, provide amenities and not half used bottle of lotion.

Nice place had stores you could walk to around the area however its about a 30 minute drive without traffic which seems to be almost impossible to the downtown area where the main attractions are. It was difficult at times to get an uber or lyft back from the downtown area back to the hotel but the property itself was really nice. I enjoyed my stay

Beautiful modern room and location

The staff at this property went above and beyond to make sure my stay with my fiancé was wonderful. We happened to be visiting downtown Toronto during a baseball game (a fact we were unaware of at the time) and we got lost/stuck in traffic and ended up being super delayed getting out of the city. We call the hotel as we would miss the restaurant closing time and they took an order for us, waited for us to get there and had it ready to take to our room. They made a stressful evening relaxing and we appreciated it greatly. The food was delicious too!
