Clean and convenient

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for valentine's weekend. However, there happened to be a major snow fall between the Saturday when we checked in and the Sunday when we checked out. Upon check out we mentioned that we had a few concerns about the wifi not working throughout the night, the heater system was blowing cold air and caused the room to be dry and effect our sinuses. When I was carefully exiting the hotel, I slipped right at their entrance (where the luggage ramp is located which was covered with snow and slush- I didn't notice any salt in that area or maintenance for visitors safety.) and fell. I did hurt my knee and was limping. when I tried to get in contact with the manager via email I wasn't given a response until two days later and a very vague and unknowledgeable one at that. The manager didn't know how to speak with confidence and reassurance when I finally was able to have a conversation via phone with him...I asked for a copy of my "incident report" that was apparently filed at the time of my fall and I was denied. They didn't want to offer any sort of compensation for any of the inconvenience and discomfort I experienced at my stay. I then requested to speak to the general manager was given the email to contact, but NO RESPONSE was made back to me. It's been over three weeks and I still haven't heard back from their team. I was very turned off with the lack of customer service and conflict resolution this hotel provided me.

Would have been nice to have complimentary water in the room. Its a pretty standard thing nowadays but we had no water unfortunately.

I liked the property and had a smooth, quick check-in process, which was great. However, at midnight, a false fire alarm went off, making it extremely difficult to get back to sleep. I had just checked in at 11:30 PM and had to wake up at 5 AM, so this really affected my rest. Unfortunately, I barely got any sleep because of it

I really enjoyed my time at this property; it was amazing

Pretty far from the Airport. Front door was locked when arrived to check in and had to stand out in the cold waiting for the front desk to open it up. Then it took them outrageously long to find my expedia booking, shouldn't have taken more than a few seconds.

Front desk staff need to be retrained.

We came in and couldn’t find any staff to check us in. After 5 mins of walking around the lobby I was just about to call head office when we finally found the person working the front desk. The tv was leaning forward in the room. The front desk told me all the tvs are like that. Couldn’t watch Netflix on their tvs because we have the lowest version so the tv said it won’t play Netflix with ads. Couldn’t use the Nintendo or you can’t control the tv volume and it was loud! Our room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was a hair on the bed pillow. Glasses wipes package on the floor and a roach of marijuana on the dresser. Not what you want to find when travelling with your child. The pool and hot tub were nice. The gym was nice except the air freshener on the wall beeped every 30 seconds to be refilled. I tried to call front desk and 3 times it rang for an extended period of time only for the phone to be picked up and hung up by hotel staff.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Hotel and room was very clean. Our kids loved the pool, I enjoyed the hot tub. Definitely would return to this hotel and recommend staying here.

Strange how the washroom had no fan. Found clump of hair on the floor. Bed sheets could be spread better on the bed. Absolutely no view from our window on the second all we could see was a rooftop covered in snow. Couldn’t even see the parking lot had no idea what area we were in the hotel

One of the best hotels I had

The room was comfortable,clean and the layout was nice. I enjoy the placement of the bed was in the room.

The bathroom needed brighter lights, the lights that are there are dim. The bathroom needed more shelves to put dry towels. The decor for the hotel was dark, the color dark gray and lighting in the hallway wasn’t bright. Staff were nice though, accommodating and anything you requested they brought promptly.

Booked king bed gave us queen bed

I had an exceptional Stay at the Courtyard. My experience was truly an amazing one. The staffs were welcoming and polite, the room was well-maintained, and the ambiance was perfect. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy the same exceptional hospitality.

Good place

I checked in late after a cancelled flight. The room was very cold and took a while to warm up, but otherwise it was very comfortable and clean. There was a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room. I had hoped to have breakfast, but the restaurant closed at 10 am, an hour earlier than advertised.

Thought it was close to the airport

Great hotel close to the airport and affordable

So where do you find a hotel in Toronto for under $200 a night of the quality of this hotel. The staff at check-in were absolutely spectacular and the rooms were very well appointed and very very clean. As an experienced traveler having an experience like this is quite enjoyable in today’s day and age.

Your front office staff were just extremely excellent and efficient.

I like the cleanliness of the room and staff as very friendly.

A very nice hotel. Spacious lobby includes a modern business area, bar and restaurant. Clean room with comfy beds and furnishings. Looks exactly like pictures.

When I checked in, I was told that my room was not ready which was 3 hours after check-in opened. They wanted to give me two beds instead of the one I had booked.

Its location. It was a centrally located property, very easy to access.

Xmas in Mississauga

I was looking forward to this hotel because it was one of the newer ones in the area. My girlfriend and I entered the lobby area to a woman that was yelling and frustrated at the staff due to the the fact that her car was stolen over night and another car was broken into. This stressed my girlfriend out because the front desk told her that the hotel doesn't have cameras, which is crazy for a newer hotel. I had to park her car at a friends house 20min away because she had a new car. The overall stay at the hotel was good, room was clean, washroom had essentials and pool area was relaxing plus Starbucks on site was bonus. The check in and out process was fast and efficient. The staff wasn't the greatest experience because my girlfriend forgot her robe behind the washroom door and she called soon as she released when she got home the same day. She called several times and was lied by the front desk that it wasn't there. The front desk was a guy, that lacked professionalism and was rude through out the process. He told her that he spoke to the housekeeping manager and they didn't find it. When my girlfriend spoke to the hotel manager, he said housekeeping manager has been off. He lied and got caught and didn't apologize. My advice is better customer service training for the future staff members. Overall, hotel was great, staff members below standard. 3.5/5

We were pleased with this hotel, it kept to the standards of Marriott. Also close to the airport.

We were there over Christmas and hot tub was broken. Other than that the room was terrific and the food was good

The hotel is conveniently located. Very clean and well maintained. Bed comfortable and bedsheet smells so clean. I highly recommend it. Believe me this is the best.

Great location. Walking distance to LCBO, and various food choices from hotel. Free Parking - not the largest parking lot but you should be able to find a spot. Great staff. Clean pool and hot tub. Room clean. Will absolutely return.

Very clean and spacious.

Washroom does not have a proper working exhaust and water started dripping from the vent on the ceiling above toilet luckily it was on the morning we have to checkout.

Enjoyed our stay, clean and big rooms. Staff at check-in were friendly and provided a complimentary upgrade. We had an issue with the coffee maker in the room which was taken care of quickly. Overall,nice place for a getaway!

We flew in from Orlando to Buff NY, then over to Canada- Toronto. We stayed 30 min out from the CN tour to experience rural and City. This hotel was close to everything local, super clean, ample space rooms, super clean and absolutely an A plus on customer service. Lobby has Starbucks and Bistro and very large indoor heated pool and outside patio. We highly recommend to purchase Breakfast with your options as Biatro can be pricey if not included in room fare. We were there Dec 10th, ample free parking. Money well spent! We drove to CN tower and Aquarium 30 min drive and all other sites. From there you can drive North to experience Canada.

Clean and bright

It's the second time for us at the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto/Mississauga and we'll definitely go back. There is a lot of commodities around and the staff is very nice.

Staying at two Marriott in different locations on the same weekend is good perspective on the conditions. This property was not as well cared for as one might expect of the brand. Cleaning and maintenance could be improved and the towels are not up to standards.

Hotel was nice, no complaints; however, no shuttle to airport and you cannot park your car there while away.

The property was clean, elegant in appearance, well maintained and staff were very polite. They even had the heat going when we arrived, so that the room want cold when we walked in. The TV was on and it had a welcome message on it for us, with our name on it. We appreciated the personal touch. Apart from needing a few more towels, the toiletries were adequate. Lotion and a bar of soap were provided and the shower housed 3 containers filled with; conditioner, shampoo and bodywash. The room was neat and tidy, well dressed and modern. I would recommend that the garbage bin and recycle bin be replaced with larger ones, as every food item or product used now are all packaged and the bins fill up pretty quickly. All in all, a great stay. Thank you!

Overall a very nice hotel. Room was comfortable. A couple small faults. -glasses in the rooms were dirty/dusty -there was no headboard on the bed. - hand bar soap in the bathroom that was old and cracked up couldn’t use it. Just tells me nobody has been in that room for a while. I would still go back to this property.

Bedding Needs Addressing

The stay would have been amazing, but they do not use fitted sheets on the bed. It's a flat sheet that slides all over the mattress. The room was large and spacious. Perfect for our group. There were things in the room that showed use, but nothing that we couldn't handle. However, the lacking fitted sheet was a total disappointment!!! A room that cost almost $300 for the night should have decent sheets on the bed.

Very extremely bad service, did not help me what so ever, the front desk staff need to be spoken to immediately.
