Super slow service, room curtains were dirty, much confusion over billing at the concierge, unwanted charges for breakfast buffet

Property is old. CheckIn time is 3 pm & Dinner have less variety of snacks for Veg

Its classy and wide range of food variety. The roomm and bathroom is spacious.

The hotel was excellent, the food was good, the staff were very friendly. My only concern was the swimming pool, it is not heated, so at this time of year it is too cold to swim in and this should be highlighted in the details. In fact the pool should be closed for safety reasons and this should be included on the website. I would not use this hotel again, due to the surrounding area of the hotel and the issue with the pool

Loved my stay. Courteous and professional staff, wide variety if food for breakfast- chefs took time to know you and recommend different foods. Small eateries close by for exploration. Loved the shuttle service to the airport.

Property is in the centre of the city. For travel metro is nearby. Market is really close as well. Swimming pool was fantastic. Staff was very cordial and the food was great.

Staff was always there for help

Good stay. Service during breakfast was not up to me mark, very slow and table was not clean.

The staff are super nice. They kindly gave me a big surprise - a birthday cake! Very thoughtful, appreciate it. Breakfast are great, good quality and good choices.

Two-night stay on business trip

Had a two-night stay while on a business trip. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials for a stay. Excellent breakfast buffet with a good mix of local and continental options.

Even better since covid. Great buffet, wonderful styling, welcoming staff.

Good hotel for work trips

The hotel was very nice and clean. The fitness center was decent and next to the good size pool. My room was service & clean daily. The breakfast had variety of selection and staff to wait for your needs. If I travel to New Delhi again I will stay at this hotel.

The property is located near Huda Metro Station in the vicinity of Sushant Lok. Its a tall brown building with glass window facade. The entrance is huge & the decor looks good. I checked in on Sunday and the lobby was quite crowded. There is just 1 person to check-in guests & it took at least 15-20 min to get checked in. Also, they didn't know its an Expedia booking, referred to it as a travel agent booking. The details were also missing from the systems - had booked a full board package but they couldn't see it in the systems, so had to show it on Expedia app to confirm. No-one at the concierge to even take the bags to the room, which was quite disappointing to see for such a hotel. The room was decent, although i had requested for a bathtub room while booking but I don't think anyone had even gone through that (again a bit disappointing). Room had a good city view but the glass was quite dirty, it would be nice if they could clean it (would look much grand). Amenities & service of the staff was excellent. The restaurant was good, staff was helpful there & the spread was decent for lunch, dinner as well as breakfast. Overall, it was an average stay & by just fixing a few things they can make the guests stay much better.

Enjoyed our stay

Hotel was good and room was very clean. Reception staff was very helpful, hospitable special thanks to Muskan for helping us on everything we asked and requested throughout our stay :) Overall a very worthwhile stay, enjoyed our stay.

Although I have been to Marriotts all around the world this was my first stay in this courtyard. On checking in it was noted that a bottle within my luggage during scanning was broken. The staff immediately apologised and not only they showed a gesture of goodwill by keeping a personalised sorry note with cakes in our room but also provided us with complimentary airport return shuttle and waived off a few charges. Extremely polite and well mannered staff but a few standouts were Sparsh, Vipin and Britika (may not have got names right, apologies). Breakfast was as usual excellent and overall wonderful experience.

Rooms are not upto the mark with regards to freshness. I had to ask the housekeeper to spray. Overall, was a good stay. Got half board with lounge access at a decent price.

Average hotel, nothing special

The concierge during our checkin told us that we don’t have breakfast included in our booking. When I showed him the booking he confirmed that it is a there in the booking. How come he denied it first and confirmed within seconds that it is a part. I think this hotel is overrated and there are others offering better rooms, food and services at the same or less cost. The room service was good and only reason I think that the stay is average.

Everything is good about the property. I have stayed here multiple times and it has been good so far.

Loved the place and especially the people

It was a great stay..i enjoyed the hospitatility of the ataff especially the concierge (Varun Kochar) was amazing...he helped find a lost bag with very important documents...the restaurant staff were very caring to our needs and especially since we had a LO and were jetlagged, they were very accomodating. Overall a very worthwhile stay...food was awesome...staff were tops..will be back for sure.

I was provided with room which had lot of paint smell. On the entire floor I was the only one who was given room and due to paint smell my throat got choked and kids were staying out. Though they changed my rooms but rooms given were having rotten carpet smell. After changing 4 rooms I was given one room which can be said FINALLY...! So disappointed from Marriot

Would say it was a 3-4 star experience. The hotel feels a bit old.

The heart of this hotel is its staff. The amount of respect and care they give you as their guest is unreal. The room was clean, and they were always ready to clean the room at a moment’s notice. The receptionists are extremely helpful, and they will aid you with whatever you need. I have never stayed at a hotel with a better staff.

The hotel, restaurant, decor, valet, food was excellent. However we were supposed to be there 2 nights and had included breakfast, dinner, drinks and spa. due to some circumsdtances we had to leave early and so asked the front desk that we would not have dinner and breakfast or spa and so instead could we have the lunch buffet before we left. We didnt even stay second night but paid for it. The front desk guy said NO. This was totally ridiculous and would never happen at a different Marriott. I was really really disappointed at his behavior. Unacceptable for a regular customer and when I was asking for something much much more reduced than what I paid for.

The experience was great and the staff was lovely. Wish you had more than one restaurant within the building though. :)

Good going!

Very nice experience.

First time and impressed

Convenient, friendly staff. Free good breakfast. Two minor annoyances - called to get my phone back but did not come and so had to call. Called at 1:30 for bags to be picked up but phone was busy.

Best hotel near city center Gurugram

My husband and I travel a lot and we have stayed in many hotels from 5 stars to 3.5 stars. The staff and the service in Courtyard by Marriott in Gurugram, Haryana India was the best so far. They catered to our needs, followed up and made sure that we are satisfied. Each person in their staff was courteous and very efficient. Some of the names are Mitali, Sachi and Shweta. The food and the service in the restaurant was superb. Our room and overall hotel cleanliness was very good. The staff made us feel like we were staying in JW Marriott not Courtyard by Marriott.

Staff not so competent .

Staff mistakenly checked me into an occupied room. So when I walked into supposedly my room , I found a couple lying in the bed fast asleep. Could have been worse .

Amazing Hotel--Highly Recommended!

My wife and I travel a lot throughout the year for work or vacation—so we are constantly in hotels and experience various services from different chains. We always enjoy Marriott, but the staff at the Marriott in Gurgaon is special. If I had the ability to give this hotel 10 out of 5 stars, I would do it. They remember your names and genuinely want to know if you’ve had a nice day or if they can make your stay any better. If you ask for something, they bring it to your room in less than 5 minutes (we were on the top floor) and will try to accommodate you no matter what. The front desk clerk, Ravi is amazing. He upgraded us because the hotel was empty and always asked us if we needed anything. The concierge team is amazing. Harjot was fantastic. She showed us how everything worked in our room and even came to assist my wife on how to put on a Saree for Diwali. I wish I could remember the name of the other concierge, (Isham maybe) as he was always asking how our day was and how he could help. The hotel rooms are very clean/comfortable and modern. The showers are fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone on business our leisure and will definitely return.

Front desk department is not at all co-operative.

I have not seen front desk department as it was in Marriott. Sorry to say I would not recommend my friends and clients to go there. Thanks.

Exceptionally great hotel

The stay was absolutely fantastic. Even in North America, I have never received such great hospitality. The staff and the management are absolutely the best and world-class. Exceptionally great experience. Would certainly come again!

Exceptional welcome staff and breakfast

Harman Kaur was one of the best welcome staff and served me a great welcome drink. In the morning the breakfast was served to my room as complimentary as I had too much work to go down and eat. This is the best business hotel in Gurgaon.

Nice hotel for those who have arrends in the area

Excellent hotel but maintenance could be better. In our room air-conditioning, safety locker, Telefon shower had to be taken care of at our request.

Marriott in Gurgaon, India

The Courtyard by Marriott in Gurgaon, India, was excellent. All of the hotel staff were kind and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food choices, and all that we ate was delicious. Also, the location was excellent, being a mere 15-minute walk to the Huda Cyber City Metro station. This gave us easy access to the city of Delhi. The manager of the Courtyard even assisted us with contacting the taxi service which we had hired, and the sales manager contacted the Courtyard by Marriott in Agra to ensure that our accommodations there were very comfortable as well. Our sincere gratitude to the managers, the chefs and the staff for their contribution to making our visit to Delhi and Agra a very good experience.

Great service, excellent value!

This stay was awesome! The staff are so wonderful and always pleased to help. We wanted to take a taxi to travel around Delhi and your the monuments. The hotel had a car service which included the hotel's driver taking us to various monuments throughout Delhi, for a GREAT price. We had a chauffeur that knew the area and accompanied us through the city. This was an awesome extra from the hotel. The spa was relaxing and very inexpensive as well. We really had a wonderful time!

2 star experience at the price of 5 star - Disappo

A lot of sorry, with no solutions and persistent mistakes and failures. 1) Located conveniently near a metro station. 2) House keeping was disappointing - On checking in we found the pillow covers to be stinking of sweat and had to get them changed. At night after turn down service we found the room to be smelling, on contacting house keeping there was no reason given. 3) In room dining was again disappointing, it took them over HR to deliver the breakfast and even that was incomplete order. 4) very poor value for money with too much headache. 5) Their keys become non-functional (even without keeping them near mobile phones) The feeling I left with was that we as guest are being merely tolerated and the management was doing us a favor by addressing the lack of services which were making our experience difficult.

Good To Be Back

Extremely friendly & efficient staff, an excellent breakfast and a great room. You couldn't ask for more!

Large rooms and good facilities

Hotel was clean, room size was good. Barely any noise from outside when in the room. We visited in January which is a cold month, the hotel felt very cold and the rooms didn't warm up much. Other then that, decent size gym, nice breakfast in the restaurant and good wifi speeds.

Very nice hotel but not too many good restaurants nearby. Hotel restaurants are good but very expensive.

Overall stay was disappointing. Highlights: comfortable bed, 24hr room service, gym, and swimming pool. Lowlights: dirty bedroom floor/carpet. Laundry was not picked up. Breakfast not delivered to room in timely manner. Despite hotel taxis being reserved in advance, cars were not actually available when requested and scheduled pick-ups were not fulfilled. I was left stranded multiple times.

The Good Bad and Ugly

Marriot is a great chain. And this is one of their great hotels. The food was excellent. There was a buffet to kill for every morning, afternoon, and night. While there, they installed a new buffet line with top of line equipment like La Cruset, La Buer, and other such high end equipment. They said they spent $1 Million getting it ready. (In reality it looked like a Million rupies, not dollars. The entire hotel was kept spotless by a hard working staff. Of note, there is a rooftop pool, exercise room, and Spa. But be warned of a few things. 1. The hotel is not a resort by any means. It is primarily a business hotel for people doing business in Gurgeon which has become a tech center for India. It also serves the community as a wedding hotel. Which can be entertaining but brings in a lot of noise late into early morning. Those elements make the traffic on a weekday a nightmare. Perhaps the worst in India. 2. The hotel is in a developing part of India. The view was a mix of hotels, resorts, high rises, and one homeless encampment burning trash fires next to the other. That and the cars make for Smog I have not seen since 1968 in LA. Malnourshed Cows, Dogs, and people wander the streets and sidewalks unattended. Watch where you walk. Also of note, between Oct and Dec there is a currency crisis. The hotel would only hand out 2,000 Rupe notes to one of us 1 a day. None of the ATMs or Banks have no money for a debit card.

Acceptable compromise between Price vs Performance

The experience of my stay was quite pleasant. I was on a leisure trip (visiting friends/family and attending a wedding close by) The staff is friendly and polite and puts effort in accomplishing your wishes as far as possible. The Hotel ambience is pleasant. Nothing extravangt, the entrance and lobby are clean and average size. The dining area is within the lobby. There is some renovation and expansion to this going on, so presumably some addition can be expected. Check-in etc. went quite hassle-free and the porter brought the bags up to the room. The room was clean and offered a view. The view although is that of a big metropolitan suburb with usual appearance of the particular elements which you can imagine is a densley populated Indian city (has to do nothing with the hotel, this is something which you just experience in India) Luckily I could see the pool from my room :-) The breakfast offered was good. In my package it was included in the price and I think it was justified. I might not have taken the offer if I would have to separately book it. So incase you are getting a 'comobo-deal' i'll suggest anyone to take it without giving too many thoughts (this kept in mind that the nearby surrounding do not have a 'nice' eating/ take-away possibility.

Friendly staff. Good food and excellent room service. There was a person named Sanjay in food services who is amazingly caring making sure that we enjoyed our breakfast(s) daily.
