Excellent service and location
Facilities were very clean and staff was very friendly and courteous!
This was a great place to stay! The cafe surprisingly had great breakfast choices. It’s in a great area where you can walk for 5-7 mins for food. Great location if you’ve got something at the convention center
This hotel is easily walkable to the Natiowide Arena Older but clean and quiet hotel
Loved the pool and hot tub. Gym was ok. Basic equipment. Valet parking only. Super overpriced.

Didn’t get the room I booked
I booked a room with two queens. Show up to check in and she says they have none available and only have doubles. I spoke to a customer service person through Hotels and all they could do was give us a coupon for breakfast (we won’t use) and a $25 credit. If I wanted double beds, I would have booked that. Disappointed in this hotel. We also had a room with a very leaky AC unit and there was water all over the floor and got on our bags and things. They did give us a new room to remedy the situation.

It was a great stay!
The room was quite nice, the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, well light and had everything i needed.
The heater/air unit in the room was so loud that I had to unplug it. Further, the valet had no idea what to do when I requested my car in the morning. I had to pick my keys out of a group and he asked what he should do with the others.
Older hotel, not what I always expect from a Courtyard. Will not stay here on future trips
If I'd known only valet parking was offered I would have found another hotel, was $37 to park overnight also the ac/heating unit in the wall was directly adjacent to my pillow which kicked on and off continually from a drafty window beside it...Room was street side where a sheet of metal was covering a hole from some type of road construction and very noisy when a vehicle would pass over it
Na
We arrived and there was the expected line for valet service. I appreciated it was an option at this location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the free coffee for guests in the lobby. Our room was clean. Perhaps it was our room location, we could hear several conversations and activity in our room from other guests and the hallway. It was a bit different, however we were able to ignore and enjoy our stay
Nice place
2nd time I have stayed here. Loved both visits
Did not have queen beds as reserved. Water did not drain in shower. Bistro was only serving limited items.
Great place
.
Swimmingly average experience.
Stayed on the first floor, next to the pool. Room and hallway smelled of chlorine.
This was a great hotel! Clean, quiet! Very close to our event. Would definitely stay again!
Parking is way too expensive. The stairs to get to the elevator are unnecessary (put in a ramp!). And having stairs in the room to go down to the bathroom was really weird.
Close to Nationwide Arena and several restaurants and bars. Old hotel but upkeep has been tastefully done. Gym has nice cardio equipment and enough weights to get the job done. Would stay here again.
Close to where I needed to be
Pool smell made it rough. Overall still recommend
We got a room that had a window "facing" the pool. I put facing in quotes because our room window had privacy film on it. The room was comfortable. But with us being right beside the pool it came with a heavy chlorine smell. Id recommend asking for a room not facing the pool. Id still recommend the hotel, just not that room
The pool was grossly misrepresented in photos and freezing cold. The hot tub was disgusting with yellow foam bubbles and stains on the walls and surrounding concrete floor.
Lovely place! Would recommend especially if you got a concert at nationwide arena since it’s so close within walking distance! parking is also a little confusing but there’s a structure literally only a block away that charges pretty cheap rates too!
Great location for concerts.
Everything was great. Very accessible to many places. My one critique involves the WiFi. I made an account just to have WiFi, and when I went to use it, it didn’t recognize my room number and last name. So I’ve had to use my data since yesterday.
Very very clean, and very nice staff. Parking isn’t as bad as reviews made it to be, there are several public places to park in very very short walks. Only downside really was the extremely limited hours of the bistro!
Sink not draining Sc not working
Pictures are much nicer than the actual room. Purchased a king room and received a queen due to “over selling of rooms.” Staff said they could not compensate. Won’t be staying here again and caution those that decide to.
This ranks on the bottom of my hotel stay. Starters, the very nice woman at the counter was having issues with the check in process. Was asking for card on reservation that was already paid for. Paid extra 10.00 for breakfast, and was told I need a cupon, was not sent a cupon, nor was it mentioned. The A/C unit in this room, was louder than the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Overall the bed and the pillow were comfortable. Lets move on the the valet service. Wasnt sure i was going to get my car back. Info was written down on a post ot note, and a 3x5 note card. Texted for car in the morning, and they asked me what i was driving. I did get my car.
The second we got off the elevator it was instant comfort by smell as it was the cleanest smelling hotel I’ve ever been in! Room was clean! Only complaint was light above the sink did not work but was only a minor inconvenience! Bed was great! Water pressure in the shower was fabulous! Would definitely return if ever in the area!!
Staff was so friendly, valet was fast! 5 min walk to Nationwide made getting to our event super easy! Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was also helpful with Doordash and held the order for us until we got downstairs!
Soccer game fun
Good decent hotel lobby and amenities were great room was a little dated but clean
Forced valet parking charged to a hold card I was told would not happen. Wall unit a/c very noisy/cheap/rattled all night, constantly up trying adjust.
Spacious room
Great stay!
Parking not free
Hotel was clean, parking is a nightmare unless you want to pay $35 for valet, then it’s super convenient.
Good location with 10 minutes of good dining options (less option during weekend.) Nice, clean and large-sized double/double room.
Perfecto
Excelente lugar para disfrutar de columbus
The lift for the luggage was broken, in addition to the high price for the stay we had to pay additional for parking, the “valet” lost my car tag. And construction stated at 6 am
Room was a little stale, needed some better ventilation including the bathroom which had no fans. Otherwise an excellent stay.
Excellent
Nice but uncomfortable
The building itself is old but pretty and well kept however the beds and the pillows are extremely uncomfortable and with a four night stay it was not ideal. Otherwise room was clean but had a lot of old things such as tvs and alarm clocks. For sure needs an update.
Website leads you to believe complimentary breakfast but it wasn’t .
Clean and quiet!
Our stay was great! My only complaint was that the heater/air conditioner was a little finicky. It was either all or nothing and it was right at bed level, so if it was on, it was blowing right on whoever was on that side of the bed. We stayed for a show at Nationwide Arena and it was nice and close so we could walk. Valet service was easy but they did move my seat quite a bit which was annoying. We only stayed one night so I can’t vouch for the other services but it was clean, quiet, and close to where we were going so I was happy.
Unsat
Kicked out. Evidently I was overly demanding, used foul language an upset management. I left after 2 days of a 4 day stay. I hope my refund comes thru as I prepaid my stay.
None. Average stay.
I didnt like how noisy the room was. Seemed poorly insulated and the windows were old. I didnt like the smell of chlorine as soon as you walk in. The worst part i feel is the parking availability. Valet is nice but not having access to my vehicle whenever I wanted it was not convenient.
Boujie
It was a good stay overall. The place could definitely use a complimentary breakfast of some sort though.
Staff was incredibly accommodating and the facility has plenty of nearby restaurants, and an easy walking distance to the conference center.
One of the worst
Avoid this hotel at all costs- outdated, dirty and nasty staff (including valet). I don’t think I’ve experienced this level of unprofessional behavior at a hotel before. And the condition of the room and lobby were not acceptable. Overflowing trash in the lobby, previous guests items in our fridge, handicapped room was only available at our 3:30 check in. Room furniture worn and damaged, stark aesthetic, not comfortable.
It was a great stay! Everyone was super helpful!
Love how close it was to nationwide arena and how easy it was to get to
This was not a good place to stay with a small family. The valets do not help with baggage; they only park the car for you. The elevator did not work, so getting luggage upstairs was difficult. To top it off, the room given to us was right beside the elevator so people were coming in loudly all night right past our room. I would not stay here again, especially with kids.
There wasn't a microwave in the room - we had to use a communal microwave in the lobby. Otherwise the room was nice and the bed was comfortable.
I booked a king bed for 3 nights and I didn't receive a room because they overbooked. The property was listed as having onsite parking and it doesn't have any option except valet parking, and they take your car across the street to a parking lot they don't own.
Amazing
Amazing. Friendly and enjoyed coffee and lemon warwr at check in.
Unique, historical building. Good location downtown. Rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable; doors are older. Some rooms have steps, so must be careful at night if you get up.
Great!
Great Night Out.
I placed a night there for a hockey game. People were very nice and courteous. The rooms were very clean. Valet was very easy to work with. Would stay again anytime.
Beautiful and clean, but…
The hotel itself is very nice and I especially appreciate a clean room, which ours was. However, avoid room 111 at all costs unless you really like NOISE! It’s tucked away in a little corner and the room is very spacious- the largest hotel room I’ve stayed in. BUT, it’s street level on a corner, so there was a tremendous amount of traffic noise, pedestrians yelling, and construction noise all hours. Add to that the AC/heater is very loud, the marble lobby echoed all the voices, and the handicap/luggage lift was right next to our room’s door. Additionally, though the room was large and nicely decorated, the mattresses were truly terrible and I’m pretty sure my sock drawer is bigger than the bathroom. The door missed the edge of the toilet by a half inch. I understand the hotel has no control over traffic and pedestrian noise, so perhaps a different room would have been better, but we only stayed a weekend. I also was a bit surprised by the valet only parking. I wasn’t expecting that additional cost. The staff was very helpful and kind however , especially our waitress/cook at The Bistro downstairs. All in all, I’d give the hotel an 8 out of 10, but our particular room a five.
Very clean, friendly staff, quick valet. Close to everything! No complaints here.
Decent hotel a short walk from Nationwide Arena
One of the closer hotels to the Nationwide arena. Next to nothing else of interest near the hotel. Zero shops and only a few restaurants that do not stay open late. Columbus downtown is dead and sidewalks roll up starting around 9 PM. What restaurants there are all seem wildly expensive. Hotel has a small snack bar, but it closes early, and doesn't have much variety.
That 'restaurant' was a joke. $6.49 for a small bottle of cranberry juice? I could buy several full sized bottles for that. The other prices were just as ridiculous. There are too many good restaurants within a few blocks to waste money on that place. The hot chocolate in the lobby after a day of walking back and forth to the Arena in the rain was really nice - when it was there. Half the time, it wasn't. Room was nice. Fitness center, too. Pool was a weird shape and hard to swim in and hot tub was full of foam - it needed cleaned. Staff was nice.
Customer service was fantastic. Love the hot chocolate in the lobby :-) Parking was confusing. My daughter and I drove around for 15 minutes looking for a place to park. Finally we saw a small, unlit sign that said "Valet". Nowhere was it specified that this hotel was valet only so that was frustrating. Otherwise nice stay.
I was unaware that there was no parking so that was an additional expense as Valet is your only option and I did not know in advance. Also, the check in staff in the evening was not very nice. She just gave me my key, did not provide any direction or instruction, forgot my voucher and did not tell me anything about the property. I had to ask where I was supposed to go and where the amenties were. Breakfast staff is FANTASTIC! Rooms are super clean. Pool and hot tub were out of this world. Pool was very warm like bath water- which my little one loved. Hot tub was hot. Pool and area were insanely clean.
Disappointed
Best things first, the rooms were VERY CLEAN!!! Also, beds/pillows were VERY COMFORTABLE, and the linens very nice. The lobby there were overflowing wastebaskets, during our stay. The coffee and cocoa bar were awesome! We were booked for 2 nights. Husband fiddled with wall thermostat the first night and we woke up cold, but he thought he just didn't know how to work the thermostat. We left for the day, returned, and it was cold. We decided to go to the desk, and "maintenance" told the front desk there was no heat in our room. Oh??!! So, we were moved to another room for our second night. I asked about a voucher or discounted stay for the first night, and was given two vouchers for a "free" breakfast on our day of departure. I don't eat breakfast, so it wasn't much of a consolation. Second night went flawless and the room was way more comfortable and updated than the previous room we had. Upon checking out, I again asked for a discount and was blatently told since we failed to report it right away (actually we assumed it would kick in overnight but it didn't), all she would offer were the breakfast vouchers. Okay, then. On another note, (1) there is no secure wi-fi at this facility; (2) the parking arrangements were a surprise to me - WE HAD TO PAY $35 PER DAY, PLUS TIPS, FOR VALET PARKING. That really adds to the bill, and, (3) the pool was too cold, even the kids weren't swimming!
Nice place…nice rooms…nice staff!
The room wasn’t clean; it still had the previous guest belongings in there, there was ice still in the ice bucket and the drinking glasses weren’t clean. Reached out to the front desk person that day and they stated maybe the cleaning staff missed it? Lastly they only offer Valet at $35 bucks a day. Wouldn’t recommend!!
Bar was closed as was dining. I had charged to my credit card in the amount of 90.00 which I guess 35.00 for parking? First place I have stayed and had pay to park!I called the hotel was told there system charges this for incidentals? Really! Girl said it would show up back in my account 1-2 days! Unacceptable!! It better show up because I will be driving back over there! I think that hotel needs a complete technology over haul!
Great combination of style and price. Walking distance to Nationwide Arena.

Just be aware there is Valet Parking only. You get as many in and out privileges for the one daily rate. It was extremely quiet in the downtown when we were there, it was two days before Christmas until Christmas Eve. Went for a hockey game at so the Hotel is a great location for that, a 10 minute walk to the arena at most. The only thing that isn't in the room is a safe. Would definitely recommend this spot.
This is our favorite place to stay when we go to Columbus. Everyone is always so helpful and nice. The rooms are clean and comfy. My husband and I won’t stay anywhere else
Had to pay $35 a night for valet parking. Highly inconvenient.
I liked how clean everything was.
The proximity to Nationwide Arena was less than a 10 minute walk. There are other sites to see that are nearby such as COSI and parks. I can't wait for the weather to get warmer. I do plan on going back.
Enjoy my stay!
It was pleasant and very comfortable. The workers were extremely friendly!! And the staff was very helpful. Definitely will recommend it to other friends and family!!
So so
The kitchen staff all the way around was understaffed, very nice people just not enough of them. Front desk staff mostly OK except the manager or at least I believe was a manager just a wee bit on the rude side. She told me there was a $35 charge for valet parking. No other option was available from them, when I checked out the next day the girl who is very pleasant at the front desk and told me know the valet parking was included in my hotel room, and she issued me a credit, however the credit made it to my statement. Currently in dispute. Won’t stay there again.
Good value, convenient to everything.
The staff was great, rooms were clean and a good size. The one odd thing was the refrigerator was inside a cabinet that caused it to work harder than it needed but you couldn't hear it so it wasn't a problem just sub optimal energy design.
Avoid this hotel at all cost the rooms and bathrooms are filthy. If you have an ussue management will belittle and treat you like garbage. Please avoid this hotel and protect your family and love ones.
great
Everyone was friendly and very helpful
Lack of parking but otherwise perfect! Great spot to rest and recoup after an exciting concert the night before.
The staff were no nice, location was perfect. Only drawback was only valet parking
Parking was a bit confusing, but other than that we had a great stay! Room was clean and staff were very friendly!
Wonderful
Liked how close it was to the downtown core, hvac pumped out cold air all day/ night
A bit dingy in common areas — rooms were fine but also a bit shabby. Comfy beds, small bathroom. The service was fabulous all over the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. Rate was overpriced for the property condition and location.
Every person we came in contact with was helpful and kind. The room was dirty and it was so noisy we couldn’t sleep.
Clean and convenient to downtown area
See above
Very convenient and close to my even with was Columbus Marathon
Clean and comfortable
Nasty food
The food was awful

A Strange Stay
Stayed here one night with 2 kids. The room was great! Great that there is a pool and exercise room. The front desk and restaurant on the bottom floor staff were excellent! Very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the valet is so much money and it was snowing we got the car early and the windshield wiper was broke. And to top it off I grabbed the snow shovel and salt and did the Marriott's Sidewalk!!! I am a 40 something female with 2 kids and my kids almost slipped. I saw all these kids and moms, coming out of the hotel so I went to work! It was crazy!! We paid a ton and it was like I was at the house! Owell! At least there was an advanced auto parts - so we got a wiper and got home. We did not complain because I wam a firm believer in you don't know what someone else is going through. Maybe the staff was sick or had some reason they couldn't help with snow. Also my dad always said in snow leave the wipers up! Please do that next time! Thanks and have a great day!
