The people who worked the front desk were super nice and very helpful. The hotel itself was very pretty. The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that there is no free breakfast. Even a very minimal continental breakfast would be nice.

I was so nervous. So many people had posted bad reviews on here. But, the reviews on Expedia were good. So I took a chance. It’s nice here. Clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a bar and Cafe. The cafe cooks hot food, on limited open hours. It’s really expensive. The bar has a good selection, but again it’s pricy. FYI Bring your own Beer. They have a really nice common area in the lobby. We utilized that so much. We brought our own snacks down and played board games on a rainy day. Pool is outdoors and not heated. I’d definitely stay here again.

The first floor sliding doors didn’t feel secure.

My room smelled mildewed. Paint falling from ceiling, toilet leaking, coffee maker in room was dirty.They switched my room and the second room also smelled like mildew and stained carpet. The only good thing was the friendly staff.

The property appears to be a bit older, and the exterior seems to be undergoing some renovation, but the rooms, the facilities and the overall property were clean and well taken care of. Everyone that works there was really nice and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back.

Wife and Daughter stayed last March, They loved it,Close to base and mall, They knew when I was going Come and See My Granson at the base I Would Like My Stay Also and they were Right, Quite, Nice People , Clean and knew I would like Starbucks... there front drive awning is still in disrepair since i stayed there 6 months ago. but looks close to be finished. other than that it was clean quite and the black out curtains are the best for working nights and sleeping during the day.

Excellent staff person (Georgia) greeted me and checked me in. Friendly and professional. Returned later in the evening hoping to enter an outside door off the parking lot near my room only to find it out of service. No warning. Had to re-park the car and enter via another door. I was concerned as my family had worry about this area at night and I was alone.

Squished Roach corpse on the inside of my closet door frame, missing plaster patches in multiple place throughout the room, and the floor (carpet) was old and nasty. The only redeeming quality was a very polite and friendly staff.

I did not like that you had to ask for your room to be cleaned. It is not included in the pricing. You also have to walk in hallways, elevators, etc. with your dirty towels to the front desk to exchange your towels. This service should also be included in the price. I had a huge dirt dauber nest on the inside of the curtain that I had to ask to be removed. It was so large, it had been there for a while letting me know that they do not move curtains, etc. to get everything cleaned. The pool area was nice and the room was overall clean and smelled good.

I attached my bank statement so you can see that you took $299.28 out of my account for my stay which has already posted.. Now this morning you’ve taken out AN ADDITIONAL 298.28 ON THE DAY MY RENT IS DUE!!!!!! I don’t know what is going on; I used to think Marriott was dependable but now I see that isn’t the case. I DONT KNOW IF SOMETHING FRAUDULENT IS HAPPENING HOWEVER I NEED MY FUNDS REPLACED IMMEDIATELY!!! This is totally unacceptable

Front desk staff are exceptional

The sliding door was broken on the handle. It appeared there were many contractors working on the property so my guess is that it is being repaired. Overall the staff was very kind and genuine in wanting to help and take care of us. They made our experience wonderful. There were two ladies at the front desk, especially the one who is in college, were the definition of what hospitality means. Well done!

Ranger graduation

Very quiet, clean, a bit dated but comfortable, spacious and quiet. Pool was very nice. If I returned I would stay again.

I like that there was parking availability and there was a cafe onsite in order to have dinner. The person checking in guests was very disorganized. When I walked in there was only 1 other guest in line ahead of me. No one was sitting around. After that guest was taken care of. I walked up and she stated that there were people ahead of me. She just didn't know where they were. Then proceeded to ask the gentleman behind me if he was there first. We were the only ones in the lobby at the time. Of course he said no she was here first. It was very odd. The property itself it not laid out well. There was only 1 elevator on site. My room was on the opposite side of the building. So I could either drag all my luggage up the stairs or use the elevator and walk about a mile to my room. In the morning I went to go take a shower but the water in the tub was not working. When I checked out I let them know about the water issue. No apology just that they would have maintenance look at it. I don't think I'll use Marriott again. Very unprofessional.

Rude and Misleading

Booking through the website was misleading. We paid an additional $15/person for breakfast. We were told after we got 2 large coffees, that was all we were entitled to. And then i was charged an additional $10 for the coffee (i didn't know this until after we checked out). The breakfast crew was extremely rude to my father and then again with me. The room was clean and the beds were pretty firm, but comfortable. Water pressure was nice. No hair dryer.

Did its job

We only were there for a few hours, enough to sleep and shower. It was under maintenance but was still pleasant. No frills. Our balcony over looked the parking lot, nothing interesting. But we needed a clean place to to grab a little sleep and a shower before our next leg of our trip.

Our stay was fine. The reason why I gave the rating I did was because I didn't love the way the breakfast was offered. I have never experienced anything like it before. We paid extra to have it included per person but had we known it was ordering at Starbucks we probably would have opted to spend that money at a different restaurant. Staff were great! Building was older but clean.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The area outside the patio door was littered with cigarette butts.

I was very disappointed. The property was very old, housekeeping didn’t come after the first night to make the bed and bring fresh towels, and the hotel room smelled old and moldy.

We stayed a week prior to the current stay. The prior stay was a lot better than this stay. I was told I got complementary breakfast, when I went to get breakfast it was $40 because I booked through a 3rd party. The guy that gave me the wrong info was from another motel. That upset me a little. The air conditioner didn’t work well and they sent maintenance immediately. Offered to give me another room if he couldn’t fix it. He fixed it but it wasn’t to my liking. The couch bed had vapes and a lot of dust. That was where my kids were going to sleep. The room didn’t have a microwave and the ice machine was on the other side of the building. The staff was very kind and welcoming. I don’t think I’ll stay here again. It’s not to bad, it just not to my cup of tea.

Nothing wrong with stay. Would not seek out the hotel again. Nice to be able to walk to Ruby Tuesdays. Breakfast of course isn’t free. Coffee and bagel for two was $17. Bar wasn’t open so we got two beers from cooler to take outside for $16.

Great, 1 night stop on a long drive

Great location right off of the highway. Easy to get to. The man at front desk was super friendly and helpful in suggesting local restaurants for dinner. Room was clean and comfortable. I have 4 for cleanliness and also condition only for the exterior. The front of the hotel could definitely use some improvements. It did not match the inside or the rooms at all.

1st time asking for handicap room and it was set up beautifully for someone who was handicapped. I appreciate all you do.

Nice Stay

Checked into the room and it had a smell of Mold and Mildew, but thought it was just the room not being used for a while. Sprayed it with Lysol didn’t help. After 2 days I was switched to a new room with no problem whatsoever. I saw no pest infestation, very clean and quiet, but the parking area could use more light.

I did not like the construction going on

No housekeeping, breakfast not included although expedia said it was, didn’t leave extra towels or coffee packets when asked. No free coffee.

Construction right at the entrance. Wasn’t able to get my room because the hotel had given it to someone else. The person at the front desk spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get us another room. The patio door kept getting stuck. I had surgery the next day and having to wait almost an hour to get checked in for an error on their end was beyond frustrating. I’m sure the customers standing in line behind me felt the same way.

Cleo (not sure if this is her name because she removed her name tag when asked to confirm her name) at the breakfast counter was extremely rude and unprofessional with me and other guests with her inappropriate tone and delivery! She began to argue with me and the other guests as if the breakfast was coming from her kitchen. And then she had the audacity to have a male companion waiting for her with a Burger King bag as if he was coming to “hang out” with her while she’s working. I travel frequently and this has NEVER happened to me! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! However, Lucy was GREAT with deescalating the situation and I think Marriott should hire more employees like Lucy. Also, when you arrive to the hotel you will be unable to park in front of the entrance. I was extremely upset with that because it was raining. I’ll attach photo as reference. Overall, I will NEVER go there again!

I loved how quiet the hotel was. Front staff was very friendly. Easy to check-in. The one thing i did not like was the way the room was set up. The king size bed faced the windows and curtains however the TV was to the side. So to watch tv you had to lay on your side.

Outdated. Dirty old carpet, mildewed. Hot water cut off in the middle of showering. Cost was way too much for the services and amenities received. Never stay there again.

Nice place to stay

Nice room. Great mattress. Only negative was ceiling plaster falling form in the trim and bathroom. There had been repairs made but put quality workmanship.

Bad smell

When we arrived the outside needed some updating. Once we got to our room, the toilet started leaking from the bottom every time we flushed it. The front desk was called, and we asked if we could be moved to another room. The hotel was booked due to the Fantasia's concert which is the reason why we were there as well. Maintenence came to our room, and he stated that he would have to put some caulk down and a new valve because the current one was old and rusting. After we returned from the concert, the toilet was fixed without anymore issues.

The lobby was very nice and our room was very nice, as well. The location of the room was very good. I only have two issues: There was a roach running around the bathroom sink and people in one of the rooms around us kept slamming doors and drawers very early in the morning. This is no fault of the hotel. All of the staff I talked with were excellent and very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff was very nice and hotel clean although a little outdated and the pool in not so great condition. Someone was also smokin a little something something that morning when I left my room. All in all, decent but I will likely not go back.

Clean and quiet

Needed a room for the weekend of Ft Moore basic training graduation. Our stay was excellent, my only complaint was the housekeeping staff. We were told when we checked in that the rooms get refreshed every 2nd day. On our second day. We had been waiting for housekeeping to come by. They skipped our room, and then got mad at us for having trash put away in trash bags we brought. She made us leave them on the outside by our door and we tried to give her our wet towels. She was upset they were wet. The check on staff was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again, only thing we would change is we will bring quarters to wash the linens ourselves.

It was close to everything that I neeeded. Housekeeping can do better with cleaning we moved the bed it was candy paper and etc behind it and on the balcony it was 6pack of open beer that the previous ppl had to have had.

Don’t be fooled by other online reviews or amenity descriptions. There is absolutely no hot food being served at this location. There is zero food being cooked and served here as implied by the online descriptions. During our visit we had no opportunity to order a hot meal so we just found food elsewhere.

Condo has double sliding doors from the living room and bedroom. Beautiful waterfront view! Several dining and shopping options just minutes from the building. Condo was clean and well -stocked. I would highly recommend!
