Couldn't possibly ask for more. Gorgeous resort!

The resort is perfectly located, the beach is stunning and the layout of the property is very easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is good!

The only thing missing is the bottles of water this was disappointing, other than that was great

The staff is great and water activities are as well. Food is pretty much the same except for one or two items. We stayed for 7 nights and after the 3rd night, we were tired of it. There’s barely any entertainment during the day. The most everyone did was read it seems. There are shows around 8 or 9, which are entertaining, but after 10 it’s dead. The nude beach would have been great except for kids walking around the area which was weird. The rooms are okay, but the place itself is a little old.

The service you receive from the time you enter through from customs at the airport into the Couples Lounge till being dropped back at the departures terminal is outstanding. The staff are all so welcoming and accommodating. The resort is the perfect size and this was our first experience of an Adults Only resort and it was so laid back and relaxing. When you add up all the free activities, snorkeling , boat trips, water sports and diving- you are getting an outstanding value. Well done to the Couples Negril staff- you all deserve a High Five. If you’ve never dived before- get in the class on day 1 and then benefit from the free daily diving. Our diver instructor Richardo was fantastic. Also consider the transport to and from the resort is also included.

Great spot!

The only thing I didn’t like about the resort was getting our room. We paid extra for a beach front room and they gave us a room where we could not even see the beach and the same for the couple we were with. They did give us a room where we could see part of the beach which we were happy with after we complained and the same with the couple that was with us. When you have to complain the first day is no way to start a vacation!

My husband and I have been here a few times through the years and we decided to return. Great time , food and the staff incredible. The staff is always ready to help you, and make sure your stay is the best. We are ready to return ASAP!

We enjoy Couples because it is typically quiet and as a couple we have a quiet place to reconnect. It seemed like this time there were fewer food choices than before and not as many dining options as before.

Great beach!!

Couples Negril was good. When you first arrive be aware of your food options. We arrived unpacked then we had limited food options. I would have liked more music. It was very quiet in the pool area. We like music all day on vacation. There are no late night activities. If you want a night life experience you might want to venture off the resort. There is the Piano Bar who had sing alongs. They limited the music. Definitely a PG environment. Hope you like Adele. I get it they aim for romance. We are just a lively couple. The resort seems to be aimed for older people. We are in our mid forties and thought the night life was boring. But if you want to be on the beach all day and chill, this is your spot. There are great spots like Rick's. You can get a taxi there. The drivers stay with you the whole time. Which is great. You can watch the people jump off the cliffs or you can participate. Not only are the cliffs beautiful, the environment is so fun. The sunset from this location is like no other on the island. Rick's is a day spot after sunset it clears. If you want to smoke do not waste your time with the islanders. Go to Heedo Weedo at the Hedonism Resort. The islanders sell dirt weed, don't waste your money. GO TO HEEDO. You can get a day pass for $80 a person which includes Premium Alcohol (which Couples does not have) and access to eat in all restaurants. I heard it's wild but you don't have to participate. Vacation is about experiences.

Some restaurants were not open due to seasonal low occupancy and Ackee Salish was only served twice a week which was disappointing. Everything else was good as expected. Staff were great.

Amazing resort!

We had asked several times for cranberry juice and pineapple. It was on the list to choose from but never came. Asked for a coffee cup that never came. Short of the in room service it was a good time.

Love the peacefulness, cleanliness, relaxation and beauty of location. What I didn’t like was the limited menu. Menu was the same every day. Overall I would recommend.

Resort cleanliness and staff 10/10. I stayed there for 5 days for 4 nights and every time I went to eat I knew a familiar face that gave me exceptional service . Resort itself tho, it’s definitely for older crowd! 40 and under will not have fun. Wish they had more nightly entertainment .

It was wonderful!

Loved the place overall. My only personal piques are that the staff in the general restaurants and bar were a bit "hit or miss": some were excellent but a fair majority did not seem to be engaged. In the more formal restaurants (the 2 of them) service was excellent. Could look for a bit more variety in the food overall, but perhaps as we were there off-season it made sense to limit so as not to waste. Activities and activity staff were great. Slight "hic" again; if they advertise yoga, let there be yoga and not "oh, it rained so no yoga". Sailing, snorkeling, paddle, etc, all excellent. Grounds are really well kept and the beach is excellent. Would definitely return without hesitation.

I loved our stay at couples negril! We showed up right after hurricane beryl and everyone was still so accommodating! Beautiful beach, pool area, restaurants were fantastic, and above all else the service was amazing and everyone just seemed happy to be there! We will definitely be back (:

Amazing property! The facility is clean, the staff was exceptional, amazing food and entertainment! The beach was phenomenal and so easily accessible. The rooms could use a little updating but its not something that would stop me from staying there again. I will definitely be visiting again.

We loved the entire experience. The activities were all very fun. The water sports were a 10 out of 10. Enjoyed the scuba diving. We are already planning our next trip.

Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. The water sports options are fantastic. I highly recommend their scuba instructor "Sugar" if you are looking to get your certification. All of the chairs on the beach and around the pool have a float cushion and there were plenty of open chairs available. The beach was so beautiful. No seaweed on the beach. Food and drinks were great. The coffee bar was perfect and had delicious espresso drinks. Buildings were close together so no long walks to get to dinner like some resorts.

Staff was so polite and helpful. Their approach is almost like a friend helping a friend. Very easy to have a conversation with and get to know a little about them. The grounds were amazing. Noticed the beach area was free from tree debris and raked. Super clean beach area, even on the shoreline is kept clean of natural debris. Rooms were kept at a 10, cleaned and restocked daily. Housekeeping was so nice, left person touches on your room each day. Ate at all the restaurants and the best resort food in Jamaica. Always a concern when you are at a resort. The smaller size of this resort is its advantage, food does not taste bulk or processed. Fresh and tasteful at every meal. Everyone must of been feeling the same, because the other customers were also at ease and very relaxed. If you are looking for a nice romantic place to feel the love, this is your spot.

We had a fabulous week at Couples Negril.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. We felt like we were in paradise, blue skies, ocean views, white sandy beach, beautiful facility with amazing, mature tropical vegetation. We really enjoyed the dining experience and the incredible service. The staff is probably the best part of our experience - wonderfully attentive, kind and friendly. We'll definitely be returning!

Arriving at Couples Negril, we had high hopes based on past experiences at Couples Swept Away. However, we found the hotel somewhat outdated and lacking in certain areas, such as the beach mattresses and pool facilities. Additionally, at 42 and 32 years old, my wife and I felt notably younger than the majority of guests, which influenced the vibe of the place (55 ). Despite these shortcomings, we had an overall enjoyable stay and provided feedback in hopes of improvement. Yet, considering the hefty nightly rate of $1100, we expected a higher level of luxury. The service was commendable, particularly from the water sports team led by Maliki. On the culinary front, the food met the standards of a discerning palate, with no disappointments. However, the lack of top-shelf liquor options was concerning, especially given recent alcohol-related incidents in the Caribbean. For a resort charging over $1100 per night, premium brands like Grey Goose or Don Julio Reposado should be available.

Wonderful staff. Amazing food with lots of daily options. Enjoyed the excursions provided to explore. Felt safe and secure in the property.

We always love staying at couples Negril. The beaches are well maintained, the hotel is clean, but could use a little updating. Staff is excellent and very accommodating. My only complaint would be the food. It’s good, but not great like you hope for at an upscale resort. There are only a couple of restaurants and the have the same menus each night. More restaurant options especially for lunch/snacks would be great.

This was a great place to stay. We literally just lounged on the beach. We never left the resort we just unplugged and relaxed. There is an all natural area of the beach that is not like other ones close by that can be rather shocking if you don't know what goes on there. This place is a great place to relax. They keep vendors to a minimum so you aren't hassled the whole time you are on the beach.

If your looking for a solid middle of the road resort this is it. Second stay here and would stay again.

Traffic getting to Couples was terrible. The property was little out dated.

We love everything about the resort, the people, the services, the establishment itself. What we disliked were the other guest that were very rude and entitled with their behavior towards my Jamaican betherin. It was unacceptable to our ears. I understand the business and ISSA, but i do wish refusing service, a point system, or removal of these kind of persons was a thing

Our stay at Couples was unique as thestaff was particularly professional and kind. As soon as we arrived from the security staff to the reception staff, Akim, who was extremely polite. There was an issue with the room we were initially given and we spoke to Akim and he changed the room without hesitation, we thought this was execeotional. Our room was a king double looking into the garden with a partial sea view. The room was of standard size but well equiped. Lovely bedding, with lots of pillows. Mini bar fully loaded. They had a form which you could fill in if you wanted specific drinks from a list and they would have in your room the next day. The grounds are well kept. There are grill vegan bars, pool bars on the beach. They have a large buffet/ dinning area, (I have forgotten the name) where you have your breakfast, lunch and dinnner if you wish, buffet or set meals for lunch or dinner. The staff are particularly attentive, we wish to thank Nastascia, Donna, Neesha, Oshin, Dean Reid, Mrs Davies, Olajuan, Tamra, Millicent at the Spa, Sharniella. All the staff that made our stay truly memorable. Sorry if I didn't mention all you names. We actually booked our stay during the week of Couples Negril 25th Anniversary, and they had Great Gatsby themed cocktalis and dinner which was really lovely with great food. Lobster dishes were delicious. The food on the whole was good. I could go on but characters running out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend

Great food and drinks. Beach was huge, soft sand, enough loungers and float rafts for all. Entertainment and meal options to fit every personality and taste. Would definitely go back!

Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone going to Jamaica. The beach is beautiful, it is located in a cove and have very little waves. The resort is great, could use a coat of paint and some repair throughout. Most of the staff is friendly, but there were several staff members that seemed cold. The resort does not allow for tipping, which is nice because you never have to feel like you have to tip to get service. Note that the resort has a limited breakfast room service menu, which is only pastries, cereal, juice, and coffee. While on property, we requested this because we booked a couples massage. Unfortunately, we never got it. The spa services are great! The wife and I did a couples massage ($300 for about an hour), and it was fantastic. The food is typical all inclusive food, nothing really special. The exception to this was Otaheite restaurant, this is the only restaurant requiring reservations and has a dress code. The food here is excellent! One complaint is when we researched out trip, we found out that Friday's are lobster night, but the resort was having their anniversary party the Saturday we left, so they did not have lobster and did not communicate this to anyone. The resort is NOT a party resort, which we liked. We could hear loud dance music from a neighboring resort, and were glad at how quiet Couples was. And the resort felt safe at all times! Overall, great experience, and I would return again!

Staff was excellent. England in the watersports was amazing. He made is very personable and an overall amazing experience. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Although the staff were very accommodating, I would say the hotel is in need of a serious renovation starting with their cleaning staff. Majority of the cushions that are on the lounge chairs are in terrible shape. They need someone to power wash the outside floors routinely and maintain their side of the beach. Other properties were free of seaweed. Room service was less than sub par. Not enough options. I booked a beachfront property and was disappointed to find out it was on the 3rd floor facing a garden. Beach towel program needs a rework. In spite of all those things that need improvement- we loved staying here. The staff made the experience worth while and I see why they have repeat guests. Food in the am was great. Loads of options and lots of authentic Jamaican food. Vegan options were ok. Wished they had Rasta pasta. Great place to just relax.

Everything was top notch! The staff went above and beyond. Lots of food options that were amazing! The beach was clean and beautiful! There was entertainment for everyone, and all of the amenities included make this resort a true all-inclusive resort. I can see why there are so many repeaters to this resort. I hope to be in that club someday.

I do not understand any negative reviews for Couples Negril. This was the most caring, pampering, fun, well kept and most beautiful peaceful resort we have ever been to. Smaller resort so food much better access to everything with ease. Room service great. Overall excellent. 5 star resort, any bad reviews written those tourist were never happy to begin with in my opinion! Well done Couples Negril and thanks!!! We will be back!

We loved every moment of our stay. My handicapped father in law was treated so well. They did everything to make his stay perfect They even got him on and off the boat for the sunset cruise. The food was the best part. Loved the laid back vibe. Everything was amazing and we can't wait to go back.

Our week at Couples Negril was perfect. From the moment we arrived until we said goodbye everything was exactly as expected or way beyond, no unpleasant surprises. The staff, food, facilities, activities and beach were amazing. Already planning a return visit.

Excellent stay with the amazing Negril Bay blue waters. Evening entertainment was lacking a bit. We loved the water sports, the beach, the staff, the room, and the spa. The food was so-so - apart from the rush which was excellent.

The property was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The vendors on the beach weren’t pushy and that’s always a plus.

The property was awesome. My wife and I got our PADI Open Water Diver certification through this resort, so they’ll have a special place in our hearts forever. One thing that was off-putting is that it seems like not all employees are allowed to accept a tip. I would want all employees to be able to accept tip comfortably, given that their guest has deemed their service worthy of said tip.

This place was more than we ever imagined! Service was excellent, staff was friendly, the beach/ocean was exceptionally great, food was good, the excursions that came with the property were excellent! The air conditioning was top notch in our room, we’ve never stayed beach front and had air that was cold! My only suggestion would be to maybe update the property and have the buffet in closed with air!

The resort is awesome. Small beach ,clear water. Staff are awesome in all areas. But was is annoying. That people walking at the beach and want to sale something. And is going on and on every day. If the property can do something about this would be nice because is a private beach resort.

The resort was lovely. I took my husband for his birthday. We enjoyed ourselves. Only thing was the food. It wasn't authentic. It was ok not great.

I loved everything about this property. Only problem we had was there wasn't any television service for 4 days.

Staff was nice and welcoming. Rooms were not up to my standards. Either too cold or too humid, making the windows and mirrors fog up, and bedding damp and sticky. One night after returning to our room, there were several bugs in our bathroom sink. It took the evening housekeeping staff over an hour to come to our room to address the issue. When Alyssa cleaned our room it was up to standards, otherwise it seemed more like a rush job done by others. Restaurants Lychee and Otaheite were our go to options over the other two. The number of stray cats and dogs that came around while we were eating at Cassava Terrace and Heliconia was a huge turn off. It was hard to enjoy a meal with cats at your feet. Only breakfast option for our group to eat together was at Cassava. The first day was great, meat options included turkey bacon and breaded chicken. After that the options for those who do not eat pork or fish was extremely limited, no turkey bacon, they ran out of chicken, so it was only pork bacon, pork sausage, ham, etc. We enjoyed the Catamaran, staff on the boat was great! Glass boat was quite boring, guide not very engaging. Given our experience, we will note this location as a one and done, no interest in returning.

Most of the staff were friendly. Food was great. Misleading when reserving an Oceanview room. Ricks Cafe trio very misleading. "Finger" foods were you reaching your fingers into a very small potato chip bag.

We really liked our stay at Couples Negril! The beach was amazing, clean, lots of benches and some natural shade. The environment was very relaxing, food options were great, and entertainment at night was good. Housekeeping did an amazing job and the whole property was well kept. If you are looking for a chill vaca on a gorgeous beach this is the place. If you want party and have music playing all day I would look into another hotel.

We love this resort. It is close in. not sprawled all over the place. Beach is the best. Chairs are comfortable. Room is nice. Always clean.

The resort is laid out very well making it easy to find your way around. The food in all restaurants is very good with attention paid to fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. The most exceptional part of this resort is the piano bar with top shelf cocktails, amazing entertainment and an environment that lends itself to guests interacting and becoming well acquainted.

It was a really nice location in the smaller beach area. The waters were calm. We loved all the water sports available. But watch out for jellyfish! The staff was friendly enough for the most part.

Loved that it included scuba diving and catamaran cruise. Not alot of people participated in nightlife- a bit too quiet at night.
