Hot tub was cold, toilet didn’t flush, room cleanliness not good. Possible mold in room and musty. Don’t recommend staying here.

Hot tub works which is good. It’s an inexpensive motel so you get what you pay for. However I feel with a bit of effort they could make the rooms cleaner.

Just off the highway so quick and easy to get to. The rooms are clean and spacious. We didn't have time to check out the pool and hot tub but nice to know its available. What I really liked was we forgot and envelope with cash in it and the manager was nice enough to go check and found it. They held it for us until we were coming back this way. Definitely recommend this motel.

Was great for the price. Lacked some amenities but wasn't a deal breaker. Fridge fritzed and froze my salads so that was a downer and the blankets could have had more weight

Tiny shower. Takes a LONG time for hot water. Hot tub was nice.

I like most parts of the room. I felt pretty confident it was clean. It's conveniently located in a spot that you can get anywhere from by car. Bus stops are close. The Burger King is next door (I always forget about their breakfast). The jet tub was a little underwhelming but I still had a nice, relaxing bath.

Great stay

The pictures in the advertisement had breakfast but when we got there they had no breakfast. The hot tub was cold they turned it on but it didn't get hot for us to use. they had laundry facilities but no soap you have to bring your own. The toilet was leaking water so they had to move us to another room.

Poorly cleaned no balcony (not advertised) room smelly

Only 2 rooms actually had a balcony one was 20 which we stayed in and im not sure the number if the other. I went with my family who had toom 17 which was advertised to have a balcony but did not. The balcony that is advertised is actually a shared balcony for everyone. They do not provide proper bedding or shampoo and the room smelt of Marijuana when we entered.

Convenient location

Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available at the time of arrival. Rooms a bit dated but adequate as a stopover. Hot tub needs some cleaning and repairs to water jets but was hot enough. Beds had very thick mattress but once on the bed they were quite comfortable.

The overall stay was good. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The least enjoyable part was all the cigarette smoke wafting in the window and doors. As someone who is allergic to cigarette smoke it was tough for me to deal with it. Maybe you could consider having no smoking on the property having guest leave the peoperty to smoke.

Convenient and price was right for a one night stay. I did hear trains every hour during the night but I am a light sleeper. I would ask for a diff room next time.

This is your standard motor inn. It is fine for a 1 or 2 night stay on a road trip. The owners are very nice people. Carpets are stained in the rooms. The motel is surrounded by a highway and fast food restaurants. That said, the motel rooms are situated such that we had zero noise from the highway or other rooms. Very quiet. A good stopover in the end.

Ran out of tp. No tissue paper

It was a great cheap option for just needing a place to crash for the night, but it wasn’t ideal. There didn’t seem to be much in the neighborhood, as we were sort of towards the edge of town, and the service was a little odd- nobody at the front desk when we went to check in, and we had to remove the vibe from the pool ourselves. Don’t get me wrong, it was fine and serviceable, but in terms of hospitality it was a “You get what you pay for” Vibe.

We never stayed there the reservation was canceled, and should not be charged for.

Everything was great except, the jets in the jetted tub did not work.

Pool was open! Not the greatest but beat sleeping in the car!

This an older property that could use some updating but it is clean, quiet and the staff is great.

The hotel was close to the event we were attending, the cleaning crew didnt refresh our towels the first night. When they did bring new towels......they didnt clean out the trash bins.

When I figured out the days of my trip I went on Expedia and searched through hotels to what I want and what I needed I picked this hotel and pre-booked it. The drive down there was a little longer than I had expected and I had called the hotel to let them know that I was going to be late and was even more late than I thought mainly because I'm not used to driving through the mountains especially at night but I wasn't worried because I had phoned them I had a time and I was hoped that they would be waiting for me and I had my room free booked with reservations. However when I got to the hotel it was late and there was no one at the desk so I did have to ring the buzzer which they eventually answered after about 20-25 minutes then they went on explaining of how they had no rooms available and were unable to rent us a room when we had a room pre-booked and had been pre-booked for a couple days already. They then sent us to another hotel that was pretty much treating us the same way and I have to say one thing I am really glad I chose to pay upon arrival because if I would have chose to pay prior to arriving at the hotel who knows what would have happened,

Was an ok stay

When a pool is advertised, it's disappointing after you booked, to find that it is not working.

Air conditioning would not shut off. Sink was plugged

Facility was old. Cleanliness was atrocious. When we checked in, our room was not ready, found blood on one bed, and one day our room was not made at all.

A Really Dirty, Boiling hot room, that smelled bad

Not a good place to say ad specially if you have kids with you. Dirty, tub had hair left in it. Roof in bathroom leaked and got the towels all soaked and the floor was a puddle. The railing upstairs is broken and held together with clear packing tape and the walkway is tilting towards the ground and is wobbley just waiting to come crashing down to the first floor parking lot. Save your money as well seriously over priced. NOT WORTH $100 a night for a walkin closet sized room.

Service was great!

Great experience! The room was clean, although the sheets did need to be changed as I found some hair. The front desk was apologetic and put new fresh sheets On the bed for us.

Room repair and maintenance is definitely lacking at Country View Motor Inn. Would not stay or recommend. Air conditioner knob is broken and they stuck a Philips Screw to turn it on and off but if you don't have a screw driver you're out of luck so had to unplug the unit to turn it off. Bathroom walls needs to be refinished and painted to get rid of the corroding drywall and scratched up door.

Check in was amazing. The lady was very courteous and kind.

The owners were so accommodating to our lacrosse team even arranging purchase of tables and chairs for a team bbq. I would recommend to any team wanting a location where they can have a true bonding experience

the hotel was OK and breakfast was basic. However, my main problem was that I was double charged, charged my credit card on file by Expedia and the hotel collected fees by charging me same fee. I have called the hotel and they said they would reimburse me but never. I had disputed the transaction with my credit card provider and they reversed the transaction but then recently rebilled me and charged me the same amount. I need my refund.

Was in Kamloops on a golf vacation. Motel is close to golf courses and restaurants and pubs

We were happy to get ground level ,as older folks the stairs are difficult.We also received an upgrade which was wonderful

It was good

Stayed one night in the "wheelchair friendly room". Beds too high but comfy, no roll in shower just a tub and no bench. Room was clean and staff friendly and helpful.

Good value for the money. The bathroom is coming to the end of its 'best by' date, but was very clean. Very friendly front desk staff.

Better than a tent trailer

Like I said better than a tent trailer, but not much. Room is tiny. Had to beg for a full roll of toilet paper. Bed is uncomfortable. Room stunk of smoke although it was suppose to be a non smoking room. Noisy location. Noisy air conditioning. You could see daylight around the door, it was so misshaped. Walkway sloped outward, and the railing did not give you much feeling of support.

No to great

The picture are full of fake, and when i checked in it was fine, but after one night staying there was no breakfast our they said it was season too. And rooms where very low on carpet cleaning and in between the bed was garbage from last peoples, and most of all it was very cold at late night and early in am and big gap in the doors and top it off my coffee wasn't re filled again.

Left us Cold and Hungry

Heaters were insufficient. Main heater blew cold air for 20 minutes then stopped working. Thin blankets only left us shivering. Advertised free breakfast not offered in winter season appearently.

Terrible

Room smelled so bad of smoke. I have never been to a worse motel. The room was dirty, tv did not work , and the smell was so bad I could barely breath.

The stay was good, the plumbing was a bit noisy,but was ok.

In need of renovation

This part of the hotel is in need of renovation:small and lumpy mattress, faded curtains, poorly insulated windows that does not muffle the noise from the highway. There are better options to insure a decent night.

Needs maintenance and management

TV DIDN,T WORK, SHOWER HEAD LITERALY NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING. LOUD PARTY JUST OUTSIDE DOOR ALLOWED TO CONTINUE UNTIL MIDNIGHT.

The first room they tried to give me smelled of moth balls. The second I stayed in was dirty. My granddaughter sat on the floor and her clothes were dirty from the carpet.

Adequate accommodations

For one night, the place was serviceable. Not much in the way of restaurants nearby..fast food or pub. Breakfast included but was mediocre fare. Would look elsewhere next time.

Poorly

Poorly hotel ,I asked for a queen bed but I got double,plus it was very uncomfortable .Very small room ,no room getting out of the bed.the fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling and the clothes rack was half off the wall.The only good thing about the room was that the air conditioner stayed cool.plus the fridge didn't work.plus the staff was not very pleasant ,didn't tell us anything about breakfast or the pool.The railing going up the stairs wasn't very safe .

A place to sleep

Nice and friendly staff when you saw them. It was a standard hotel room but a bit dated. That is where the positive things end. It was a hot day and the room AC could not really keep up - quite warm on the far side of room from the AC. Pools was small but big enough to turn around in. Although no smoking is allowed in the rooms lots of people stand just outside there rooms and smoke. Breakfast was nothing. Breakfast started at 7am and we went down at 7:15. There was no bread, no milk, two small muffins and some cereal, no fruit, no apple juice, orange juice was green, not anything really to eat. No staff around to attend to the breakfast area needs. Breakfast room was small - seating for 10 if you sat at the table with a toaster and kettle. Way way way over priced for what you get. I would not stay here ever again. Not the worst place I have stayed but it ranks in my worst 5.

Driving through

This is not a fancy place but it is clean and comfortable for a short stay!

Perfect location right off the highway ..restaurants and gas station all within walking distance ..

Reasonably Priced Budget Hotel

Friendly staff, somewhat dated "mom & pop" property with limited parking. Rooms were fairly clean, but housekeeping spotty. Beds comfortable, but clean bedding not provided daily. Near major highway and train tracks, so fairly noisy. OK for a "budget" hotel.

Run down

Staff tried double charging for room saying payment didn't go through, checked bank and proved it did, dingy run down room, paint coming off walls, floors and carpets stained, did not use tub or shower in bathroom, pictures looked better online, avoided room, slept and left as early as possible. Will stick to known hotel chains from now on. This was suggested by Expedia rep.

Good stay for the price paid

The hotel is not five store hotel but is worth the cheap price I paid. The hotel is older but had all the amenities we need, microwave, fridge, AC, indoor pool and free breakfast. It was very clean and the staff were super friendly. We stayed at the hotels for three night during a soccer tournament and even though I hung towels up to dry with the plans of reusing each day they supplied us with clean towels and improved on my bed making skills. We were there during 30 degree weather the AC kept the room cool and comfortable. With that said we had to run the air conditioner all day in order to keep it cool. The only down fall to the room was we had the huge room with a very small bathroom.

Nice little spot in the valley

Despite being a half block off the highway and bordered by a drive through restaurant the stay and area was quiet. Room was comfortable and spacious. Friendly and helpful clerk when we checked in. We were only there as an overnight so didn't avail ourselves of the pool or breakfast but I feel we would have enjoyed them as well...

Reasonable rates, clean room, liked the fridge, microwave, ironing board and iron. We were in town for a wedding and appreciated those items in the room. The pool and hot tub were clean and a pleasant surprise, used them both. We were asked by staff if we needed extra towels, appreciated their concern. The breakfast room was a nice option and the walking proximity to McD's, Wendy's and Tim's was a bonus for some. Also enjoyed the deck, chairs and loungers ... Nice if you have time to sit out there. The playground looked good but didn't have young ones so did not use, all in all, the motel met our needs

Disappointed. Even for a low cost hotel.

Although staff was cordial, there was no extra effort put forth. All business, not very inviting. The rooms were tidy, but in disrepair. The previous guest had used the coffee machine and the filter was still inside with coffee in it. Also smelled strongly of smoke. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Neglected in the off season.

We were the only people there. Room needs upgrades like new pillows (lumpy), non-abrasive pillows and had that used to be a smoking room smell. Otherwise reasonably clean.

Great motel great price!

Everything was great. They double booked me so they upgraded my room and didn't even think about trying to charge extra. Room was clean, we'll kept and up to date. Also very biker friendly. Any time I pass through kamloops I'll be booking in.
