The good: Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. The Bad: Rooms are outdated. TV entertainment is difficult to figure out. Customers HAVE to join the Roku TV to hotel WiFi and then you can use it.

It was peaceful and clean. Thankful for the free breakfast. It was good and they had a nice variety. We went right before New Years Eve and a lot of restaurants and attractions were closed in the area. But overall we enjoyed our stay and will come back in the summer.

I have never seen a hotel have a fire pit. It was great and a hot tub.

The front desk staff was amazing. breakfast was good.

We don’t plan on returning. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were very small although it was a king bed. Were they even standard size? The window was drafty. It was an executive suite (king bed with a door separating from the couch and bathroom) however we kept the door open because the thermostat was out by the couch area. We kept the bathroom door closed and by morning it smelled like cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Breakfast prep area is quite small for the number of guests. We went earlier before 8 but it was still a hassle to move around people to grab something as it was a tight space and they have to wait 2-3 minutes for their waffle/pancake/toast. Maybe a layout change so that those things aren’t blocking the grab and go items yogurt/fruit/cereal. Not many options for breakfast. Very small coffee cups. To get regular milk for coffee (not mini creamer cups) you have to manage through the crowd waiting for their toast waffles and pancakes to get to the cereal. It would be nicer to have a carafe of milk by the coffee instead. The sheets had pen ink marks on them. The ceiling in the room had multiple repairs from what looked like water damage. The first floor smelled like weed, but that seems to be nearly every hotel these days. We didn’t use the indoor pool, but other guests seemed to enjoy it. The staff was very nice and wanted to be helpful, but it was a challenge for them given the hotels conditions and what they have to work with.

Overall, it was a good experience. Breakfast was well supplied. Great to have pancakes and waffles. The pool and the hot tub is a nice add on. Check out is very convenient.

It was noisy and I could hear the noise from the floor above. Hotel needs a bit more maintenance. There was a bad smell at the vending machines.

Wonderful stay. A little disappointed that neither fireplace was on during breakfast, though I probably could have asked. Front desk and breakfast staff were amazing and our room was comfortable.

jacuzzi was great. The staff was nice. The hotel was quiet Breakfast was not incredibly good at all. Our room's ceiling was peeling where there must have been a lot of leaks, and they never properly fixed it. The bathtub had a stain around where the drain was. for the price we paid to stay there three nights should have been so much better. The inside pool was too cold. And they should serve a better breakfast.

Great place to stay

We stayed for a weekend. The place was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent except that the cleaning staff, although they took the tip we left for them on the morning of our second day, failed to clean the room in any way. The beds were unmade for our second night, the trash receptacles were full, etc. We were disappointed at best.

Very nice property and convenient; didn’t receive any VIP upgrade, but I was only there for a few nights and only to sleep and eat breakfast, so no worries. Rooms were basic, bathroom was very spacious and modern. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. Coffee 24/7 was awesome, and although I didn’t get to enjoy, the firepit near the entrance was pretty and a nice option. Pool and hot tub looked inviting, but again, didn’t get to use as I was there for the rodeo. The only thing I noticed is that there were many renovations to the actual hotel, but the furniture in the lounge/lobby area was old and the leather was cracking on the ottomans. Not a big deal, but one would think with all of the upgrades completed, maybe get some nice furniture for the front. I sat and drank my coffee every morning there and just thought some new plushy furniture might be in order? Otherwise, great hotel for the price!

We have a great stayed with family, Lady at the desk was very helpful, room was ok. Carpet needs a thoroughly cleaning. I will definitely book again, but staying in upper floor.

This property has a terrible smell

Very convenient to get to six flags. Found a pair of glasses under the desk in our room, not sure how clean it was. Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Not very sound proof, I could hear every time a door opened in the hallway. Staff were friendly.

Ok...I would stay here again because overall it was fine. The service desk attendants were nice. The breakfast was fine. I liked being next to the open stairs on the second floor. The fitness room sucked, but I did use the treadmill and the t.v. actually worked. Areas need to be cleaned and toilet paper in the bathroom hallways always need to be monitored! I loved the fact we were directly across from a dairy bar and let me tell ya it was worth it!

Location was perfect for our weekend away to enjoy Six Flags. Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable, she gave us great suggestions for activities and places to eat. Breakfast stuff were friendly as well, restocking quickly during breakfast hours, especially when it was busy. We would absolutely stay there again.

We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was friendly. Our room was roomy and we liked having a separate bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The location was convenient and there was plenty of parking. We would stay here again

Although the price was too high for me and I was left with no other options but to pay for this room with my kids I guess I will have to say it was worth it I had my own room where the door closed and the kids was able to enjoy themselves and the other room there were two TVs there was really good breakfast in the morning indoor pool a outdoor pool for the money I spent I honestly leave a review saying that I was satisfied very clean all around just the outright great place staff was really cool Six Flags is right next door

Property needs update

Pleasant hotel with everything you need to enjoy a short or extended stay. Close to Lake George and Glens Falls with all the area has to offer.

The stairs were very dirty

Very disappointing. Room reeked of mildew and mold. Determined it was coming from the a/c. Upon further investigation, there was visible black mold on the inside of the unit. The smell was so bad (and unhealthy), I just turned it off an had an uncomfortably warm room. There is no channel guide, and the navigation of the TV and channels was terrible. TV also had a blown speaker so the audio was all crackly. Just an overall well below average stay. I am honestly surprised by the high rating this place has. Just some context; I stay in 50-60 mid-level hotels a year (Hamptons, Countrys, HIE, Fairfield Inn, LaQuinta, etc., etc.) so I know what to expect and what not to expect. This place was very subpar by comparison. The question I ask myself; would I stay here again. The answer is no.

Check-in was quick and friendly. Overall the room was decent and clean but the property looks tired. There was some mold in the corners of the tub/shower and a huge paint chip missing at the top of the tub surround but the shower head. The entire place couple use a deep clean and fresh paint.

Location is good, staff is friendly and helpful, the floors could use a better cleaning, our room seemed to have mold on one wall, when staff was notified, they were taking corrective action.
