The location of the property is excellent. The staff was friendly, the breakfast could have been better
Small but very well located hotel.
Great location for all the best of Rome and very helpful staff
Great location! I would stay there again. Thank you!!
Great location
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet rooms. WiFi was pretty ok but could be better. Light controls were a bit too confusing. Sometimes missed breakfast selections we requested. Overall highly recommended.
Loved this beautiful, sophisticated, understated gem of a hotel. The free continental breakfast served in the room with white table linens was wonderful. The room and bathroom were wonderfully appointed and the bedding was crisp, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
It was great!!
Very good location
Average
Breakfast included was very basic. To obtain a full breakfast, it is necessary to pay extra. Location is excellent.
Corso was great, super nice and clean room, bathroom, very attentive staff and great breakfast. Location is superb as well. Will definitely come back.
Nice people
Liked being near everything and although hotel was small. It was cute and modern and staff very friendly
Nice hotel, no bar, breakfast only I. Room, would not call this a 5 stat( breakfast awful)
Corso 281 exceeded my expectations. The location, the staff, the service and overall experience was phenomenal. This is my second trip to Rome. I plan to return and the Corso 281 will be my hotel of choice hands down. I can't say enough good things about my experience and stay there.
Outstanding! Great location. Very comfortable.
Great hotel, excellent location
Good location, friendly staff.
The hotel has excellent rooms and a great location. The level of service at the front desk is very poor. Firstly, our key for the room did not work. After returning to the front desk to have it fixed we discovered it still did not work. It required another hotel employee to intervene to have the room key correctly programmed. Secondly, when we checked in the person at the front desk offered to arrange a car service the next morning for our early departure to the airport. We accepted the offer only to find out the next morning nothing had been booked and we were left scrambling to find a taxi.
Location
In the heart of the city center Corso 281 offered upscale accommodations and service. The room was just large enough for our family of four to fit. I liked the ability to leverage the honor bar for cocktails and a night cap. Best of all it was perfectly situated to easily walk to most of Rome’s attractions. I would go back.
Excellent
Great place with a great location and convenient to most of the sites in Rome or within walking distance.
great location
Luxury? Not really
AC not properly working. Shower leaking. They say breakfast included but you need to pay for extra. For the price of the room not worth it
Perfect! Downtown Rome was beautiful!
The hotel staff was friendly, and the location was near most of the ruins. I would stay here again.
Was beautiful
It's a five star hotel and we booked at one of their VIP rooms so we got nothing but the best. Staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. They are located at the heart of the city so most of the famous tourist spots are accessible on foot. We had a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!
Great location….though some of the steps and no common area are unusual.
Very bad location for transportation No parking available at the site You have to carry your luggage for a long distance
All good
Staff was great
Lovely stay, polite staff that are very helpful and the decor and cleanliness is superb.
Excellent staffs and services. Great breakfast menu, room cleanliness and location. Wish for the price we would get daily compliment water bottle though but overall our stay was very nice.
amazing
Loved the convenience of this location. Staff was great.
It’s a very nice 5 stars. Breakfast is awesome! Cable tv is very limited Some of the receptionist are awesome, but not all, it’s Rome… Perfect location, just not the best time to come to Rome due a lot of construction going o …
BEAUTIFUL! Perfect location and the hotel is stunning! The breakfast is also included which is great and parking is within walking distance! Can’t wait to come back!
Clean place
Easy, central and quiet and big rooms . Would return again
Hotel is very well located, being a 10-20min walk from every major attraction in Rome. The room was tinny for 4 people. No room for luggages.
The property is well located; the staff wonderful. Their ‘continental breakfast’ that was included was very generous and the staff aimed to please. The only thing that would have made this perfect would have been other food options throughout the day. But, with everything that was so great, that’s certainly not a reason we would choose to stay elsewhere. We would definitely return.
Great location. Breakfast service in room!
Good location, major dightsseings eith 10 min walking fistsnce, hotel doed not hVd a bar of restsursnt breakfast served onky in the rooms, quie limited, no space in rooms
Great little hotel
Perfect location for walking around and seeing most of the sights. Sarah at the front desk was extremely helpful and the in room breakfast each morning perfect. Would come back!
This experience was incredible. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast in the room was delightful. The Bvlgari design and soaps were a pleasant surprise.
This hotel is good, but it’s no 5⭐️. Hotel have no bar and restaurant. The location is normal, but far away from shopping area. The breakfast delivery in room, but one time, the part of breakfast was been cancelled without any changes. From my opinion the total star rating this hotel, about 4⭐️
Friendly staff
everything
From the time we checked into the hotel until we checked out, about 24h, there was no hot water in the shower. They brought someone to fix it who came and left a few times without managing to solve the issue, it is expected of a 5* hotel to be able to solve such an issue faster.
Lovely boutique hotel near the Colosseum. Walkable to almost all of the attractions other than the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s. Easy 10 min taxi to Roma Termini. A very comfortable, clean, friendly hotel experience. I would definitely recommend staying with Corso 281 when you visit Rome!
Great location and quiet with city noise.
We enjoyed this hotel so much. Perfectly placed to all the major things tourist wise, but also perfect for just walking the different streets for local restaurants. Room was wonderful. Only slight ding was you could see where some sloppy repairs were made on an area or two of the walls in the room. They sent us biscuits daily, breaker was brought to our room and had a complimentary bottle of champagne. Everyone was nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Itis a 5 STARS ***** A Excellent customer service, very clean, excellent food. All the rooms looks new.
Nice, clean hotel.
Cozy 👍👍👍
Location is excellent however I wouldn’t call the property “luxury” and for the most part the front desk staff were not very friendly.
Disappointed, allegedly top hotel pick on Expedia website and listed as an Executive Suite that sleeps 2-4. When we arrived they charged us $70 a day for eack of our daughters. If I would have known this extra cost added to a Suite than I would have just got two rooms. Called Expedia they offered me $25 for the hotel refusing to not charge us extra. On our first day, the elevator broke while we were inside it and we had to wait 30-45 min for someone to get the doors open. The location is good but hotel overall is avg. The free breakfast is weird to- you have to place an order the night before or you will not get anything. Free items were yougurt, toast, juice, coffee. Any quality items like eggs and bacon cost money. Due to this experience, I will probably not use Expedia for a long time.
a fantastic location although the suites are very compact.
Perfect rooms, fantastic service and super friendly hotel staff! Will definitely stay again. Thanks
Always exceeds expectations!
Corso 281 is extraordinary in every possible way. And, most importantly, the service of every staff member goes above and beyond every single moment in every possible way! Grazie mille!!!
The property and staff exceeded our expectations. Would stay here again. Located close to the places a visitor to Rome would want to visit
Fabulous hotel in an amazing location right in the centre of Rome and next to the spectacular Altar of the Fatherland which has a stunning view from the top. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Breakfast is served in your room, which was an unexpected treat!!!
Great location and close to everything in Rome which makes it walkable to all what you need
Great property. Spacious rooms and very convenient to all of the major sites in central Rome.
Delightful little property within walking distance of most historic sites, shops on Corso and plenty of good restaurants within a mile or so. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Will definitely stay again
This hotel and its staff are excellent. The location is great as it is within walking distance of cultural sites and shopping. Sabrina at the front desk is excellent! Pick-up from the airport was a great service. Breakfast was incredible.
The hotel is in a great location. Centrally located which makes all of the major destinations easy to walk and see. The staff did a great job and was focused on providing the highest level of service.
Great location and breakfasts however more like staying in apt. Very little human contact. Room door lock somewhat problematic.
Great location! Spacious suites. We had a balcony room. Superb staff.
We love this hotel! Four of us stayed in a suite; the accommodations were excellent: clean, large enough for us, and the breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. The hotel staff were professional, polite, and helpful. And the hotel’s location was so convenient for us. I highly recommend!
Great location
Newer hotel with great location near Trevi, Pantheon, and Colosseum. Large rooms with awesome honor bar and great in-room breakfast.
We stayed here for four nights. Perfect location, wonderful staff, beautiful rooms. We will be back.
Truly a luxury suite - Amazing Location
This hotel is amazing. My friend referred to it as SWANKY, the service and greeting was excellent, the rooms large and very accommodating. The bed is perfect, I loved the larger closets to unpack, the location is ridiculously great, and it is truly luxury. I had Bulgari toiletries! The books and treats on the table to greet you are a fantastic touch. The only improvement I can see if to have the porter walk you through some of the technology in the room. The bathroom is enabled to play the music from the TV, the light switches were touch pad, and have an audible, but the minibar is MOST fancinating, the shelves lift up and there is a FOLDABLE FAUCET, and stove top. Now I was there on business and I'm not making my own breakfast, but for other travellers this could certainly be a plus. Also, I wish I would have gotten the suite with the tub, as my colleague did; he didn't even use it and said it was huge...however, my shower was divine, all in all this truly is a luxury suite.
Very nice hotel.
Location Great
This place used to have a really good breakfast. But now the quality went down.
If our stay at Corso 281 had to be summed up in a single word, it’d be “luxury.” I have no shortage of positive things to say about the place. The staff, the breakfast each morning, the location. Everything was perfect. We slept wonderfully every single night in a soft bed with a comfortable room. The hotel is in the middle of the town, a perfect distance away from most everything you could want to see. I believe if I should ever be lucky enough to return to Rome, Corso 281 would be among the things which I would be excited to see again. Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel who helped make our trip as perfect as it could have been.
Wonderful in room breakfasts like a magazine spread
We were impressed with our room. It was clean and very modern. The staff was very courteous and professional. We stayed nine nights and we liked it enough to stay there again on our next trip to Roma!
Nice room well situated.
Staff not very accommodating, below average reception. Good location!
Wonderful, centrally located hotel. Staff was amicable and helpful. Breakfast was more then plentiful. As a solo traveler, the room was more than spacious but for two people or more it can be a bit tight. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated. Will most certainly stay here again.
This hotel is amazing!!! Super clean, outstanding customer service, breakfast in the room, location was amazing. I will highly recommend and give a 5 stars.
Conveniently located near many of the important sites in Rome. Very comfortable rooms/beds, nice amenities. Morning breakfast was excellent. Balcony was not that impressive. Front desk friendliness was average.
This could have been one of our best ratings. But.. upon checking in, the owner said Expedia made a mistake and he did not have the Luxury Suite booked for me that I had a confirmation for. He continually blamed Expedia and said I should have booked directly with the hotel. So the first night I got the room for 4 people that I paid for and the next day they made us pack up and move to a smaller room meant for 2 adults and a small child. I had 4 people in my party. He then tried to charge me the original price for the Luxury suite I booked and again blamed it on Expedia stating he was losing money on my booking. The owner was apologetic but did not let us have the room we booked. It ended up ruining our stay in Rome. BEWARE if you do not book directly with him.
Very nice stay for one night. Worth the cost for high quality all round.
😄
Very convenient to Roman sites. Rooms were modern, with decent air conditioning.
The hotel has an amazing location. The rooms are quiet despite the noise outside. Suites are not really spacious, but they are comfortable, well decorated and fully equipped w/ comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. My only and grave concern is the a/c. At the peak of the roman summer heat, the room was terribly and uncomfortably warm. At night we couldn’t get the a/c to work properly. We informed the problem, but it was never fixed. Would return if the issue is resolved, otherwise three sleepless night at 25C suffice.
Great location and service!
Very quiet and comfortable. Very professional staff - all nice and friendly.
Everything was excellent .. except that I got stolen of my expensive jewelry and accessories from my luxury suite !! Unfortunately it ruined my vacation in Rome and made me cancel my trip and fled away from the hotel.
VIP treatment, and yet It’ll make you feel like you’re in a second home in Rome.
Bathroom smells bad .. overall it’s a good experience
Boutique Hotel - Wonderful Stay
Staying at the Corso 281 capped off our 3 week tour of France, Spain and Italy. What a delight! Located blocks from the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain and a one mile walk to the Vatican. We had kingsize bed and room with a view of the city streets. The room was clean and kept tidy. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning and hit all of the notes we wanted with fresh breads, pastries and lattes. Concierge helped us set up tours and travel.
Thank you all of you
The room was amazing. Clean and comfortable
