This is my second time staying here. Very good staff and the rooms are nice. Only problem both times is the wait time for elevator service. You may often have to wait several minutes for an elevator.

The room was great and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Isabella was fantastic! However, I booked this room with the hopes of letting my kids swim. The pool comes at an extra charge and is only available to kids in the morning because it is in the spa area. This felt like a bait and switch. The bus to and from the airport was convenient and it was easy to hop on the tram and get to the city center.

Jackie is the best very helpful and sweet. Only thing I regret is buying the breakfast the hotel provides it was 50 euros and was awful

Really enjoyed our stay, very convenient transport to the city centre, felt safe walking around the area in the dark. The ladies on check in desk were lovely and we liked the green stance the hotel were taking with options around room cleaning. We were a little frustrated that it would have cost us €40 to use the pool for two hours. It is stated on the information but we had to look into the fine print to find it and the man on the pool check in desk was quite condescending.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and well maintained. 2 minutes walk to the metro station with easy access to city central and the airport. Front desk clerks are very professional and they help with a big smile. This property is 10/10.

Nice hotel but extra charges.

The room was nice and comfortable. Clean room however the toiletries were empty as well as the coffee station when we arrived. Good access to the metro which is a short walk away and it takes about 20 minutes to get to the city centre. Disappointed with the extra charge if you want to use the pool or spa on your visit despite being a hotel guest they charge you €19 per person and you have to wear flip flops which is an extra €8 charge per person.

Really great hotel for the budget, does take 30 mins into the city centre but it’s an easy journey and means you get a lot more for your money. Pool is nice as is sauna. Area feels safe.

Wanted a quiet location cos I was in a squash tournament & the core don was perfect. The staff were efficient & helpful & the room was clean. I recommend this hotel

Very nice stay - quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed using the exercise equipment and spa areas. Short walk to #2 tram for easy access to tourist areas.

The staff is truly what made this place! Isa and Jackie at the front desk were truly kind to my children, myself and all the other guests in the lobby. They were helpful and went above and beyond! The folks in the restaurant and bar were just a great. Everyone was friendly and welcomed us with a smile. My kiddos are already asking to go back!

Nice place without being great.

Nice hotel, pleasant and helpful staff. Air Conditioning didn’t work in the room so was constantly hot. They provided a small desk fan when queried, but it wasn’t very effective. Spa was nice, good leisure facilities, a decent hotel overall, about 30 mins from Amsterdam Central by train.

Had a great stay. Very comfortable bed, great facilities and as it was absolutely chucking it down outside, the spa was a welcome retreat!

I had a lovely stay for my first solo trip. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, massage, friendly and helpful staff. It’s so convenient to get to the central of Amsterdam and also the airport. I’ll definitely be coming back

This hotel was our home base for the Taylor swift concert. It’s a quick 4min walk to a central tram station which was amazing for getting around the city. The staff was SO kind and even thoughtful enough to set up a bracelet making station for us Swifties. The room was spotless and comfortable and quiet at night. Would highly recommend!

Staff were Wonderful very courteous and hospitable shout out to Dania. place was updated looks great. My Complaint on this hotel is that they water pressure in the shower was weak and the AC was limited to a certain Temp. and you can only adjust it 2 degrees up or down. A bit of a walk going to the tram station. breakfast was Ok. but the Staff who makes this hotel Great. Kudos to Your Staff. and they are part of Marriot Bonvoy Family now.

The hotel in nice but nothing much round about it! We went to use the pool and spa and was told we would have to pay an extra €19 per person to use it and also if you didn’t have your own slippers with you you would have to buy them in order to enter ant they cost another €8 per pair!

When I arrived they didnt have the room that i reserved months prior. Then they told Expedia that I had another person with me, when that was not true. The room they had for me was tiny and had no view, just a bed and a tv. I did not end up staying here, and would never return. I was approached for a handout in the parking lot waiting for my uber. Bad vibes at this location. Expedia finally gave me a complete refund.

Nice hotel, big and comfortable rooms, staff is welcoming and polite, very professional and helpful. Breakfast is super good and tasty with lots of options, highly recommend!!! Me and my family, we enjoyed our stay!

All staff were very friendly and helpful 🤗 The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is a 5 minute (max) walk to the metro station, very convenient. The music in the restaurant in the evenings was way too loud to hear anyone speak during dinner and we could hear it in our room on the first floor every evening, the food was Caribbean and nice. The breakfast was a basic selection. Children can only use the pool in the morning until 12 and I was charged €19 to use the pool with my child even though I did not want any of the spa treatments and I was a paying guest ☹️ this was not made clear when booking if I knew this I would have stayed at a different hotel as the pool was the main reason for choosing this hotel for the children.

We liked the property but there was nothing unique about the hotel they need to give you better transport information as took us until the following day to realise where the tram and train was. Maybe on the booking info would be handy

Staff were all super lovely and friendly will love to visit there again because of them as well as the nice quality of the room.

The reservation was pay at the property and refundable I didn’t go because my visa doesn’t issue yet The deduct the Amount from my card I need to refund it please

The decor of the hotel is nice and the Mondi restaurant is vibrant. I will say that we weren't happy that our room wasn't ready an hour after the allocated check-in time of 2.00pm - the hotel did provide us with free drink vouchers as way to make up for this. For the money we paid for our room, the cleanliness was average as there was still the previous guest's hair in the bathtub, the rug in the bedroom wasn't vacuumed and we still didn't get assistance with sorting out the TV, after asking everyday throughout our stay. The staff just didnt seem bothered to help. In terms of transportation, the metro is only a three minute walk from the hotel. Location wise, the hotel is a ten minute walk from local supermarkets and takeaway places.

Great location and nice hotel

I arrived late and the restaurant was closed unfortunately. However, the 24 kiosk was well stocked which was great. The staff on check in were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, however, when I removed the bedsheet in the morning, the undersheet, could have done with a freshen up.

everything was perfect, only things is i like go outside for some fresh air but there were no benches around the hotel because of my health issues i cant stand up for more than few minutes and unfortunately i passed out few times while standing. maybe in the future you can think of some nice area outside the hotel where is possible to sit because in definitely coming back, i really enjoyed the stay.

The restaurant Mondi has a menu I would dine in for, even if I wasn't a guest at the hotel. The staff across restaurant, front desk, housekeeping were helpful and attentive.

Good hotel for Business traveller

Nice hotel and handy for the office and trains to town. I enjoyed the bar - food wasn't that great to be honest. Room nice and comfy, pillows huge and the shower door didn't keep the water in so the bathroom flooded each time I showered - even with a towel in front of the door it still came out. Nespresso machine and fridge always welcome. Would use again

Stayed in the junior suite, there was a noticeable whole in front of the closet which you stepped into every time, which caused a twist on my ankle. Checked in as an individual guest on October 10th at 8:30pm and was charged taxes for 2 persons, even though i explained that i might be the only person staying in the room (339). The manager came out and addressed my concern with a very poor, don't care attitude , saying noting can be done about that. The overall authentic genuine welcoming reception was missing among the front desk. This is a clear reflection of the leadership or training program. Hospitality is more! atless showing the interest to meet guests' needs in the simplistic ways goes a long way.

Enjoyed our stay, was nice to be away from the main city, trams were very easy to catch and we got our ticket from the hotel reception- they were always very helpful. Restaurant in hotel has amazing food and we thought it was worth the pricing. To use the sauna and pool was an extra 19€ ea. which we didn’t know until we wanted to use it, we stayed for 3days and only used it once as there was a ladies only spa day so my partner couldn’t go in. Rooms are a good size, the tv was great lots of Channel options and we could cast netflix from our phones. Overall we were really happy with the hotel and price we thought was worth it.

Close to the airport 10 mins but a little further to down town Amsterdam 20 mins by tram. Excellent hotel friendly staff a good restaurant.

Quiet location with great transport. Didn't get much of a chance to use the spa facilities (hammam wasn't working) but the massage was excellent. Would recommend that for sure.

this hotel lived up to mine and my partner’s expectations - it was clean, modern and with pretty good facilities! the reception staff are so friendly and helpful. the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom spacious and tidy. we liked that the room provided a mini fridge and also an umbrella in the wardrobe to borrow! it’s not an ideal location to be eating in, so expect to travel for meals (this was only a bit problematic for breakfast in our case), but there’s a nice café called Benji’s which is an 8 minute walk from the hotel. we didn’t use the spa as we didn’t have time and it seemed a tad pricey. be mindful that if staying on a weekend, you may hear/feel loud music coming from the bar downstairs up until around midnight. otherwise, very impressed and would stay again!

Excellent location. Easy walk to metro station and access to Amsterdam and Intercity rail network. Fantastic facilities with friendly and professional staff. Breakfast not the best but still good value. SPA is excellent and worth a visit. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks

Our experience was great. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very professional and happy to serve. The only suggestion is to put an anti slip rubber in the shower. The tile in the shower has a very smooth surface. It is a very dangerous surface when wet. The other thing I noticed is the carpet in the hallway right by the elevator. The carpet was dirty and it had stains.

Hotels was 3 minutes walk to metro. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very good, especially the night staff . Hawa(i hope i spelt it correctly) was very helpful with order food and sorting out the tv. We would stay here next time

I have paid for my stay & breakfast at the hotel in advance, except the local taxes which are supposed to be paid at the hotel. This is how the booking is made. Following are the series of incidents happened at the hotel. 1. Hotel Staff who first attended us told that the payment is not made in advance for the room 2. He checked with another senior colleague of him and corrected himself. 3. Then he said, I did not pay for breakfast 4. He checked with the same senior colleague, and said sorry I paid for it as well 5. He then wrongly calculated the taxes to be paid, I corrected him 6. They said there is some security amount of 150 euros to be paid the local taxes stated above. This should be 192 Euros (150 Euros Security deposit 42 Euros of Local Taxes) However, the amount deducted from my bank account is 240 Euros. Now I should get a refund of 240 - 42 (taxes) = 198 Euros. In the end, they deducted for breakfast again :(, which I saw in the final invoice. I reported it again, and they seem to have removed it in the end. This is very stressful, and deceiving from the Hotel. please help me clarify all these points? Thanks, Hari

Solid property

Lovely staff and good sized room which was very comfortable. They're were just a few cleaning issues, some of the clean towels were not clean and a couple of the glasses were not very clean.

Spa was amazing, love the fact there is a 24 hour shop inside the property, and the rooms were super clean. Also metro station was only a 2 minute walk

Great hotel

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff. If you do not mind staying outside the main centre of Amsterdam this hotel is perfect. 2 minute walk for the metro station and around 20 minutes in total to the centre of Amsterdam. The trains are frequent and the longest we waited was 8 minutes which was late at night on the way home. The hotel itself is lovely and all very modern. We stayed in room 634 with 3 people altogether and there was more than enough space. The bed was massive and we did not even need the smaller put up bed as the main bed was more than big enough for 3. There was a large bathroom with a lovely deep bath. I emailed the hotel before hand requesting a bath and they accommodated this! We had a birthday whilst we were at the hotel and without mentioning this on the day whilst we were out the room was decorated. There was balloons on the bed, a desert/cake that said happy birthday and a small bottle of Prosecco. Again it was not mentioned it was someone birthday to staff this was done of their own accord. Really great hotel and would recommend for anyone coming to Amsterdam who is not bothered about staying in the thick of it and travelling in and out. For the price you would pay for this style of room in the centre this is the much better option!

We had difficulty getting a Bolt back to the hotel late on Friday. We had to catch the bus back.

A lovely hotel with really friendly and welcoming reception staff. Great transport links. The hotel room could have been a little cleaner though I feel. Which was the only slight let down.

Good priced hotel close to the Amsterdam metro. Well maintained and incredibly friendly staff. Would be nice if the spa/health club fees were included in the room rate. But great stay nevertheless.

The room itself was everything you need for a short stay. The look and feel of it wasn’t bad at all. The bed was huge which is always nice to have. Unfortunately the housekeeping let it down. There were (what looked like) make up stains in the bed sheets and a sewing needle on the carpet. We thought possibly the sheets would be changed after the first night but unfortunately they were not so we then asked in reception for someone to do this. Staff were great! Very polite and helpful. The room never felt hugely clean but for a short stay, when you’re only sleeping and showering there, I guess we were able to just suck it up. The breakfast is okay. We were there once. Good selection but quality let it down. Although staff in that department remained lovely:) overall, okay hotel, few downsides but you get what you pay for.

Loved this hotel. Great for a solo traveler. Very close to the metro and the grocery store is about a 10-15 minute walk. Would recommend.

Cheeky Ministry of peasants.

First of all, pool ,spa, gym is accessible only after an additional €19 pp fee. They won't let you go in without flip flops in pool/spa- additional €8pp ,if you don't have it beforehand with you. Reception wont simply pick up the phone, in case you have any queries.. No shampoos, just a gentle liquid soap/body wash cream.

The hotel was clean and quiet. What I am not happy about is that I requested no maid service and I found I was missing money from my room after the staff had entered the room! Very disappointing. I told the staff and what was going to be done? They would have asked the maid if they took the money, they just have to say no and the investigation was done. So I learned my lesson

We stayed at the Corendon for a 3 night trip to Amsterdam. Pluses - (1) Well connected to Metro / tram / bus / train service making travel in and out of Amsterdam good. (2) Comfortable beds and large modern rooms with wet rooms (3) Great breakfasts Minuses (1) Evening restaurant chaotic and not functioning well (2) No other cafes / restaurants in immediate vicinity (3) Generally wifi (both before and during) signals unsafe because not using correct protocols on servers (4) You have to pay a supplement to use swimming pool & Gym (which is normally included free at other hotels & rooms not inexpensive)

In overall happy to stay in the hotel . Spa is good . Pay €19 for whole stay . Dinner foods is good . Fry rice is abit dry for me . Receptionist are outstanding . Hotel is near the metro station so can go everywhere easily . Need to make a good research before you travel by public transport.not much English writing everywhere .

Been abroad to 10 different countries now and have never come across such friendly and helpful staff. Between that and the very easy to use Metro that is within walking distance away, I would definitely stop at this hotel again.

Great wee hotel.

Lovely hotel, great reception staff, very friendly and welcoming. Mondi restaurant inside is Caribbean but portions for main meal are very small, more like a starter. Need to book in advance as gets full quickly. Metro M51 takes you straight into city centre. Need to tap bank card at gate to get in. Takes about 20-25 minutes to get to city centre and is only a 3 minute walk from hotel.
