Good, but not a 5 star hotel

This is a good hotel which, now being 20 years old, is showing a few signs of its age. Only small things, but certainly some of the upkeep falls short of a 5*experience. The staff work hard to make you feel welcome and assist wherever possible. Pool staff are efficient and always happy to speak with you. Plenty of poolside sunbeds, all with good mattresses. Pool towels changed daily, although the water in the unheated pools was freezing (in January). Beach was ok; gritty sand. Poor quality sunbeds and mats; definitely not 5* in this area. Small bay that is only waist deep at best, so not much scope for swimming, but safe for small children. Food on the whole was good, but a bit repetitive, as often the case with mass all inclusive catering. Breakfast very lacking unless you just want eggs and pastries. Limited lunch options and a very limited choice of what to eat at the pool and beach restaurants. Asian and Indian a la carte were excellent, in terms of voice and taste. Good quality evidently can be achieved if they want to. American Diner was ok too, but did not try the pay extra seafood restaurant. All inclusive drinks are all local and, to be frank, really not very good. Distinctly odd tasting and well below usual strength. Room was huge, bed rather lumpy, bathroom a bit dark but all acceptable (again, the finish, detailing etc were not to 5* standards. Overall a good stay, but closer to a 3* than 5*. Grounds/gardens were beautiful and well kept

I liked everything, service, food, entertainment. The only thing that they lacked was a biger warm pool. The warm pool they had it was more kids pool.

Much more then we have expected. We had the best holiday ever .Great place to stay , food choices are incredible, swimming pools are great.Everything was just perfect !

Amazing stay and facilities were great, and the staff were so friendly especially with the kids.

Great sized rooms. Well kept grounds. Swimming pools were fantastic. Food was just ok, got a bit tired of it after a few days.

First, I will say that this is a trip that I had planned for my son's 10th birthday. Upon checking in, it didn't feel welcoming as I was not greeted by the front desk clerk. The rooms were okay and the upkeep of the outside of the property was well-maintained; however, the food selection, food taste, food variety, and drinks were all very poor. I paid for all inclusive and I had to find food outside the property to be satisfied. At breakfast one morning, I asked for orange juice, and I was brought an orange drink. I was told that I had to pay if I wanted fresh orange juice. I even tried to order room service, because it seemed as if you pay for the food, the food would be better, but ordering room service was very frustrating because the person taking my order could not even understand me. This entire stay was very frustrating. Every restaurant that they had was a total disappointment, literally. Even for my son's birthday, reception called me a day prior because they knew I was disappointed. They informed me that they would provide a complimentary birthday cake for my son's birthday, and when I called requesting it the day of, that became another issuer, so we went off property to eat and celebrate. If you want a peaceful place to go that has horrible food and drinks with limited activities, then this is the place for you. Other than that, I would not recommend. Someone in management should be giving me some form of refund, seriously!

Beautiful location and one of the biggest and better resorts in Sharm to stay at - access to the Aqua Park across a wide road is included for free too. We used the childrens water slide on site for my 4 year old son so did not use the water park ourselves. The rooms were nice and spacious with average noisy a/c system however my booking turned out as 2 single beds put together instead of a double as specifically stated on the booking which was fine on this occasion although paid extra for. The resorts main restaurant and pizzeria were the only ones we went to. Food options I would advise against the all inclusive option if like me you are not an alcohol drinker as drinks in this hotel were basically coke or 7up, hot drinks or foul squash. The large buffet was available for all 3 meal times. The big let down was a severe lack of fresh juices of any kind and fresh fruit at breakfast which is an essential for me whilst on holiday and waiter or table service was difficult to get albeit very good if you could get any. The Rooms were ok although the pool to the swim up rooms in the last week of Oct were quite cold - much warmer and nicer in the sea so a bit redundant. My son easily opened the patio and gate to pool all by himself just lucky he wore his lifejacket at all times. We were isolated in block 9 until the last day so had the room side pool to ourselves which was very nice indeed. We experienced a shower blockage which was cleared promptly but then reoccurred.

Treatment is more important than the place

Very bad reception with bad services Workers are very rude, they dont have any respect for the client, they were telling me rgat they dont work with hotels.com and they wanna make me new bookinng to take more money and when i threatened them with the police they immediately said that they received the booking.

Great Vacation

It is not technically in Sharem, but a few miles north of the city, in an area full of similar resorts. We stayed during Winter Break, and the hotel was not busy at all. About 50% occupancy. You are being treated very well. Egyptian hospitality at its greatest. The facility is very well taken care of and maintained. There are many pools, some are heated, some not. There is a private beach with a beautiful dock extending into the sea. In between, there are beautiful gardens, and the landscaping is remarkable (it is in the desert). The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were one of the most comfortable I have experienced. The shower is huge, and fun to use. We had a room with an exit to a private pool (not heated), but the small balcony to the private room was a beautiful add on. Food is OK. Nothing special, but tastes good, and the variety is big. You can basically eat at any time of the day, and there is plenty to choose from. After a few days, it is kinda of the same food, but for a 4-day vacation it was still interesting enough. We heard that some guests stay for a week or more. I must say that if I had to stay that long, I'd probably get bored from the food. Most of the guests were Italian and Russian/Ukrainian families. The staff can communicate well in English, and these languages. There's entertainment team, called "Animation Team", personally it is not my favorite part, but seems like they were doing a good job

didn't got my booked room which was garden view

I was really disappointed when i entered my room no 14202 as it was facing a red building (I thought it was the staff block), with no garden view as was booked through Expedia. Calling the reception, I was told that even if the selling company sold a view but the hotel doesn't guarantee that. After explaining that it’s not only about the bad view, but the room furniture, smell (as if were not opened for a long time) & the room itself seems needs renovation & not as shown in the photos. The same for the block where my room was located. After some waste time, i was shown another one, that was better , but in the same old block & also not as expected from a 5 star hotel. I decided not to waste more time of my first day .so i took the other one (14236) & I booked many trips out of the hotel, even most of meals to avoid the poor room My opinion is I could get a similar room in another hotel for less than what was paid It was less than my expectation. But I decided to pay this amount to get a better room, as I’m used to have my reservation at Fairmont & four season hotels Apart from the low standard room & block, the hotel itself was really great & the staff too was so friendly i've some photo of my second room which was better than the first one , but they are not of the type that could be concluded here

Siamo rimasti senza fiato! Non riusciamo a trovare altre parole per descrivere le emozioni che abbiamo provato durante il soggiorno.Tutto perfetto! La spiaggia enorme senza utizzo di scarpette adatta sia agli adulti ma soprattutto ai bimbi, divisa area adulti e bambini, ci sono anche tante piscine sia acqua calda che fredda!! Resort grandissimo.,cibo ottimo, buffet vastissimo dalla colazione al pranzo e cena, ritornero' sicuramente. Pulizia top ,molto curato anche nei minimi dettagli consigliatissimo, ritornerò sicuramente servizio eccellente!! Un saluto a tutto lo staff siete stati eccezionali!!! staff,

Très bel hôtel avec de beaux espaces verts et belles piscines,tout est très propre, belle plage mais baignade au bout d'un ponton car pas de profondeur en partant de la plage Nourriture plus que correcte Tout le personnel était à nos petits soins

Как и в любом отеле тут есть плюсы и минусы. Из плюсов: • большой выбор вкусной еды, разнообразное меню, которое не особо надоедает, много ресторанов; • красивая и ухоженная территория; • вежливый персонал; • просторные номера с отличной кроватью; • хороший аквапарк. Из минусов: • отвратительный алкоголь (ещё хуже - их коктейли); • ледяные бассейны (кроме 2-х подогреваемых); • закрытие бассейнов уже к 16:00 (и это при их открытии в 11:00); • явно недостроенный понтон (пришлось плыть почти 30 минут по мелководью, чтобы добраться до рифа); • часть персонала была очень навязчива (могли разговаривать с тобой, когда ты в полудрёме отдыхаешь на шезлонге); • плохое состояние тренажёрного зала, очень мало даже базового оборудования; • почти полное отсутствие вечерних развлечений (даже дискотеки не было, только какие-то очень слабые шоу); • жлобская система с wi-fi (только 3 ГБ на человека за весь период отдыха). В целом могу сказать, что этот отель на 4 из 5. Минусы есть, но на большинство из них можно закрыть глаза и наслаждаться отдыхом. Потому отель могу рекомендовать.

super séjour maigres la crise sanitaire

hotel génial le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins l'hôtel est assez bien situer et sa plage privée est sublime. seul petit bémol est que la seule piscine chauffer n'est pas vraiment chaude surment a cause du covid... et le buffet très jolie mais pas fameux ... il y a plusieurs petite boutique dans l'hotel allez faire un tour chez Adam dans sa boutique de parfum la tenue des parfums est incroyable et les prix plus que raisonnable . l'hôtel est top en famille ou en couple vous pouvez foncer les yeux fermer

La struttura è molto bella e i giardini sono ben curati... il cibo è di discreta qualità!sicuramente da migliorate. Le aree comuni e la spiaggia dovrebbero essere più curate e pulite...soprattutto la spiaggia... capitava spesso di trovare rifiuti in giro...come bicchieri di plastica e cannucce e bottiglie di plastica che poi ovviamente finiscono in mare!il personale è molto disponibile e simpatico!!l'animazione dovrebbe essere più coinvolgente soprattutto per i bambini!nel complesso la struttura è molto bene ci siamo trovati bene

Eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage, man sollte nur wissen, dass der Steg nicht bis zum Riff reicht, schnorcheln geht also nur im flachen Wasser. Alle Angestellten bemühen sich sehr und auch daS Essen war abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und werden sehr ordentlich gereinigt. Wir hatten erst Familienzimmer, dann Swim Up Rooms, beide toll

Hotelin genel görünümü (çevre düzenlemesi, oda, ambiyans, deniz, havuzlar, şezlong vs.) iyi. Açık büfe yemekler, kahvaltı ve Ala carte restaurantların yemekleri ve hotelin yemek anlayışı kötü, fakat aç kalmazsınız. Resepsiyon ve özellikle barlar da çalışan elemanlar nezaketsiz ve kaba davranışları var. Genel olarak çalışanları memnuniyetsizler. Ve ayrıca Ülke de güvenlik açığı olduğu hissediliyor. Plajda serbestçe dolaşırken diğer hotellerin önünden geçerken güvenlik görevlilerinin bakışları rahatsız edici. Yerel halktan istisnasız kimle temas ederseniz edin ilk sorduğu şey nereli olduğunuz (Where are you from) inanılmaz rahatsız edici durum. Hotelin saçma sapan kuralları olabiliyor; bir tanesi havuzların ve iskelenin 17:30 da kapanması. Daha bir çok şey aklıma geliyor ama yeter, gidecekler iyi okusun.

Al di sopra delle aspettative

Al di sopra delle aspettative.. si mangia molto bene . ( sono al 6 viaggio in Egitto e devo dire che risulta il migliore ) Ottima carne e corner per pasta e primi . Animazione italiana e Ucraina ma molto equilibrata ne troppo invadente ne passiva .. Unica pecca il mare .. bella spiaggia ma il Pontile del villaggio non ti permette di raggiungere la barriera corallina .. ( basta però spostarsi di 2 pontili per potersi fare un vero bagno nel mar rosso “portare qualche soldo altrimenti niente bagno visto che il pontile è di un altro resort “ ) Piscine belle e pulite .. ottima alternativa per i bimbi la possibilità di andare all’acqua park Consigliato ma spostarvi e girate per vivere il vero mare di Sharm ( consiglio gita alla spiaggia de fanar )

Resort in buone condizioni molti i confort presenti e ottima la piscina riscaldata all aperto non da tutti. Servizi spiaggia e bar ogni dove, personale attento e cordiale

Sköna dagar i ett lugnt område

Valde att bo i rum med swimup, det var helt suveränt, lugnt och stilla, man kunde dessutom bada hur länga man ville. Det bästa av allt Inga tjatiga försäljare (som man brukar ha runt sig vid den allmänna poolen).

L'hotel è ben posizionato a El Nabq con accesso diretto sul mare (attenzione all'altro Coral Sea che è di fronte e occorre attraversare la strada). La spiaggia è grande ed è dotato di un pontile per superare la barriera corallina. La cucina non è molto varia e rientra nello standard degli Hotel di Sharm. Il personale, tranne quello della reception, è generalmente gentile e ben disposto. Il posto in spiaggia è assicurato dal fatto che gli inglesi, circa il 90% dei clienti, oltre ad un 10% di russi, stanno sempre in piscina. Animazione assolutamente inesistente, eccetto piccoli spettacoli solo per i bambini e solo in inglese. Lo staff di animazione è composto solo da inglesi, (neanche un egiziano o altra nazionalità). Viaggiato in tre, io con due figlie, a luglio 2015. Eravamo i primi italiani visti al Coral da circa 6 anni, ci hanno detto. Per fortuna vicino c' è l'Oriental Resort dove conoscevamo animatori e scuola di surf, che ci ha salvato la vacanza.
