Ocean front room was amazing could have sat on the patio all day , great beach just steps away , plenty of dining options , tourist shops and just an over all fun area we hope to return again in the future thank you hotel Monpa for a wonderful experience !

It’s great

We have a twin-beds room. Both mattresses were very uncomfortable to sleep in. In fact, the sofa bed for the 3rd person was better. Location is just next to the American Village. Friendly staff.

Hotel in American Village, Chatan

This hotel is located in American Village, Chatan. Also a stone away from Sunset Beach. There are many restaurants in the area but they are overpriced. Our room had a microwave and small kitchen. There is a big shopping mall near by so you can prepare your own meal if you like.

주변 산책, 쇼핑, 식사 모두 만족할만한 위치입니다. 직원들도 친절 하였고 청소상태나 화장실도 편리했습니다. 주차공간이 협소한점 외에는 모두 만족합니다.

Great location

We were looking to stay in American Village and the hotel was a great choice. Very close to everything.

Hotel dated but very clean. Parking is the usual tight parking in japan but easy to deal with.

The price is on the high side and the view from the balcony to the beach is obstructed. The furniture used in the room are really outdoor patio furniture that is meant for outside; minuse the sofa. But its a walikg distance to all the things at American Village.

Nice location for visiting American Village. Motel was very clean. Nice views of ocean.

The property was convenient for my need. If two people are in the room I am recommending that each be given a key to the room.

The place is clean. No restaurants at facility. Advertised as condo but no dishes, utensils, etc for the kitchen. The beds are hard as rocks. Pulled sheets back and it appears we were sleeping on the box spring. Cleaning every 5 days of your stay. Must bring down towels to front desk to get new ones. Bathroom is timely and no lace around sink to place a few small toiletries. WiFi worked sporadically and when it did, low signal. Place had nice ocean views. Definitely a minimalist place with no pictures or decorative art in the room.

Property was clean and new centrally located in middle of American village 100 meters to sunset beach and sea wall walk. Great location. Beds were clean but quite hard.

Good location, big room but poor facilities Right in centre of American village, lots of dining and shopping options. The hotel foyer is tiny, it can’t accommodate more than two families, so if you need to wait for your taxi at the foyer with your luggage and kids, good luck, there’s no room to stand at all. Only one lift and tiny, it can’t fit more than three people with luggage. No coffee or tea or even spoon and plate in the room. No pool no gym, no hot public bath like other Okinawa hotel we stayed in. Overall it’s ok for the location if you just having a quick stop over but don’t expect a nice resort feeling

One of my favorite hotels in Okinawa. Great location and good price.

What internet?? The service sucked!!!

Everything was great, but the internet in my room was horrible. When I called and had to go to the front desk and was just told to unplug the modem twice. Needless to say that didn’t work. I was very inhappy with this, it was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. The city WiFi on the beach was better than the hotel. If internet is important don’t rent a room here.

It was very clean and friendly inviting environment also located in a perfect location access to American Village and in December they go all out on making it Christmas beautiful. The negative I have is not enough parking and it kind of sucks to have th park three blocks away however it was free parking and not far away.

I liked the Seaview very much, only the carpark slot is not enough because I can't park for 2 nights. haha... Overall if I come Okinawa next time, you are on my list.

Outstanding Place to Stay!

Great place to stay in Okinawa! Views were terrific, the staff was extremely friendly, the location was in the heart of Chatan, America Village. The room was very clean with all the amenities you need. I will be staying here again for future travel!

Perfect for what I needed

This hotel was perfect for what I needed! I didn't need tons of bells and whistles. You get one housekeeping service during your stay, and you can pay for another one I believe. I stayed for a week, so one time was perfect. Traditional Japanese shower room and EXCELLENT ocean views to wake up to every morning. Also, I went out a lot and staff was very helpful in calling me a taxi every night. I didn't want to walk to the line of taxis down the street by American Village, since I was dressed for the club lol. There is plenty close by to walk to, from Jusco to American Village and everything in-between. There was also a Thai Restaurant downstairs next to the hotel. I didn't have time to try it, but it looked amazing. I am returning to visit again but this time staying with a friend. I'm actually a little sad I won't be getting to stay at Monpa this time, but I will definitely return again!

Spacious condo hotel. Easy access to main attractions in American Village. Parking was a bit of a pain. There were never spots available so we had to park at the public lot.

Good stay

Stayed for 3 nights. There was no daily make up room available but with allowing for towel exchange at the counter. Near to Chatan park seaside and American Village.

Huge room, fabulous view

We booked a room with 2 twin beds and a sofa for our family of 3. The staff was super nice, the room huge, the bathroom fancy. We took advantage of the coin laundry available in the building. Just steps away is the wonderful Sunset Beach. Across the street, tons of shopping at American Village. Housekeeping is not daily, but that was fine with us. Oh and the toilet seat was heated.

Everything is good except not enough Car Park within the Hotel. We had to park our car outside the hotel which is not really convenience for our big family.

Large room

I like the location in American Village, half block to taxi stand, Thai foods next door, free WiFi. Steel plates clicking from car traffic over the canal bridge is a little annoying and no facilities for breakfast—try brown bag breakfast on request. No room delivery like pizza or subs; at least not that I found in the room? I’ll stay here again anyway; the evening lady speaks very good English and is always so polite—promote her!

Too much for the small parking and stiff bed

The hotel’s parking spot only fits 10 parking spots. We were forced to park and walk 2 mins away. The beds had stiff mattress and very small. It was too expensive, compared how much it cost for the inconvenience. Only recommend only if it’s a last option.

Ideal

Great room, great view, great location, well worth the money. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance, a grocery store and shopping mall next door, and a taxi stand and bus stop a block away. Everything is incredibly convenient.

Great Location, Friendly Staff

The location of this hotel is right on the beach, while also being in the middle of the American Village entertainment district. The staff is friendly and helpful, and this definitely contributed to an overall nice experience. The room was spacious and had all amenities you needed, and our particular room overlooked the ocean, which was definitely a nice touch. There are washers and dryers on each floor, as well as vending machines. The only improvements I can think of are to mention that the mattresses were quite stiff and a bit uncomfortable. The parking on the site is limited (first come, first serve), however there is a very large city parking lot about a block and a half away from the hotel which offers free parking (unheard of in Japan!), so this is not a major issue - just thought it was worth a mention. Parking is always limited in Japan, and the usual off-site options always involve using paid parking, so this is a great set-up - you just need to park your car there early in the day if you want to park at the site. Overall, our experience was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking for lodging in this area.

Very well located

The room was spacious and clean. It was confortable with all the necessary for a pleasant stay. The view wasn’t good because we stay in a low floor. The hotel was very well located in the American Village, with many different options for shopping or eating. Another thing to consider is that they don’t do cleaning room every day but they do change the towels everyday.

Fabulous hotel, right on the beach. Walkable distance to everything you need, great night life, and still a quiet place to come home to. I was very impressed. Terrific views, too!

Nice to stay in this hotel and staff are friendly

A very good accommodation which located in American Village is much convenience. Hotel likes an apartment than a hotel but all the environment and conditions are good. Room is much bigger than expected.

Noise reduced my rating

We were not aware of the construction next door which was very loud two days. When we checked in was when we were informed. The noise was so loud you could not even talk to each other. Good thing we had plans outside of the hotel.

Great but get own cutlery/plates/etc

Everything was great except there were no plates, bowls or cutlery. Being a Condo I figured there would be that stuff. Otherwise it was very nice and in a great location. Too bad the view to the beach is gone if on lower floors thanks to a new construction.

New hotel construction in front of building was a bit disruptive but we were on the eighth floor so our ocean view was not impeded. When booking make sure to ask for an ocean view room or you will be looking at the back of the new hotel which is in very close proximity. The location was perfect for us, right at the beach as well as close to shopping and restaurants. A little disappointed that there was no furniture on the balcony. It would have been nice to sit out with our morning coffee or watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

Value of Money

Overall very good hotel however with a construction site immediately next door, the sea view could be totally blocked in 6 months time!! Rooms are spacious, new & very comfortable to stay! The small reception & only 1 elevator could cause a little bit of inconvenience during peak hours. Remember to reserve your car parking space prior (only 9 available space in total) & the nearest public car park is 300 metres away.

Nice hotel with a beautiful ocean front view. It was situated walking distance to American Village (a touristy area). The location had washers and dryers to use (about $2 to was and $2 to dry). As someone who always puts up the Do Not Disturb signs for my stay I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is their policy. If you need new towels bring your laundry basket with old ones down to the front desk and they will replace. No one coming in and out of your room while you are not there. :) Parking was limited, but since I did not need it it was a non issue for me. Room was quite. Slept very well!!

Overall the condition and the location of the room is good when compare with the price. If something that can suggest to improve which will be the bed and the parking problem.

Our only complaint was the mattress and pillow quality; way too hard for our preference.

Close to beach, but not worth it

This place was fine, but they just seem to nickel and dime you on everything. A new 5 story building is being constructed so they will soon lose their beach view.

Looks nice, best in area but not welcoming or cozy

They have no restaurant or bar, very strict on 3pm check-in time and while the room was massive with two giant terraces, it all felt cold. The furniture wasn't cozy and the room was sparse, separate toilet room, no light by sink where you need it. Toiletries hidden in cupboards. No maid service and key to work lights etc. staff was very polite but not friendly. If your main goal is a view and to be on the beach in a clean room for a weekend, stay here. If it's longer and you're looking for customer service, don't stay here.

beautiful view

Clean and practical, right on Sunset Beach with views of nightly sunsets from your balcony. Fully equipped kitchen if you get tired of eating out. Tourist Agency nearby where bicycles can be rented, and large department store for shopping. All the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful, Ms. Nakasone was especially helpful to me.

Located in the American Village

We booked triple sharing room for 2 nights, the extra bed is a sofa bed with thin layer of mattress over it, it is very comfortable to sleep on it. No room service as need to pay, so we bring the towels to exchange for a fresh ones at the Reception. Receptionists do not speak English.

Convenient but not cozy

We stayed for a night at the hotel. The room is clean and spacious. However, the mattress is too hard and the blankets are very thin. There are only one pillow per bed which is not enough for night reading. The balcony is just in front of a construction site which is very dusty and horrible. We like the surrounding community and hotel hygiene but our stay isn't comfortable at all.

Only one elevator for whole building! Impossible to get in in busy hour

Good value for money

Location is right in front of the beach and within American Village. No restaurant opens for breakfast so it's nice to be near the Aron mall too. Though for lunch and dinner if you want to get to the better restaurants within the area you'll have to walk at least 10 mins. Room was very spacious. The 2 double beds meant that 4 people could have stayed there.

Close to the beach, don't bring a car.

Overall, this hotel is ok. The rooms are spacious but the twin beds are rather hard and pillows aren't the most comfortable. Parking here is terrible because they have very limited on site parking available. What parking is available has to be reserved in advance. There is a public lot available about a block and a half away. Keep in mind though the lot is locked between 6am and 8am. Not a huge deal unless you need to go somewhere during those hours. The lobby is small so it might be best to check-in/out without your bags. If I needed a hotel in American Village Chatan Area again, I'd look elsewhere. On the plus side, Sunset Beach is super close as are countless restaurants and shopping establishments and a cinema (American and Japanese films).

Great hotel in Heart of American City

Hotel is next to the beach located in the middle of American City. Yet you still get that Japanese feel. There are slippers and a area to leave your shoes by the door. The bathroom is complete with onsen to relax in after walking around American City all day. Plenty of shopping and places to eat within minutes. Food/beverage prices were less than I expected in such a touristy location. The view at each window was amazing especially when watching the sunset over the ocean. Perfect hotel for my trip.

There is not enough car parking space for the guests and we need to park the car at Aeon. That was about 10 minutes walk

Okinawa relaxing

Great place, great price, great view. The location, in the heart of American Village, is only 20 steps to the beach, and everything you need is within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and pretty quiet, considering the location.

Beachfront, Convenient to Shopping

The rooms are good size, beds a bit hard, walk-in shower/tub room was neat. Electric tea kettle was nice since I brought tea bags from home. Right on the beach and close to shopping and dining in American Village. Near The Vessel Hotel which has a nice breakfast buffet for 1200 yen per person. Starbucks also nearby.

Great location - RIGHT on the beach... Located in the "American Village" shopping area. Taxi stand in VERY close proximity to the hotel and a shopping mall right around the corner. Dozens of restaurants in the area as well! New hotel with very courteous staff

After i checked in, i left the room for few hours, by the time i returned to the room, the room was very smelly, full of toliet smell. lucky they willing to change the room for us. This is not a hotel, is more like a service apartment

Great location. Right beside the American Village and a minute walk to the beach. It was close to everything. The hotel was clean and provided you with all the admenities.

Great Okinawa hotel

The hotel is new and clean and fits well with Japanese culture. The beds are pretty firm and daily room cleaning costs extra, but it really wasn't necessary.

Comfortable Stay

We only stayed for a night en route to the North which was a shame as the location is great - right next to Chatan Park, the beach, the Aeon Mall, and the American Village yet not noisy at all. Clean and well-equipped, the ocean view room and the bathroom were much bigger than I expected. Do notice that you'd have to pay 500 yen to park at the facilities though. Would recommend to travelers who want to enjoy the beach and a comfy stay.

The AC controls were a bit to get used to, but only because it was in Japanese and I know very little hiragana/kanji. Overall good stay right next to a beach area and shopping/restaurants. It's very "touristy" but not in an obnoxious way.

Nice Hotel Close to the Beach/Restaurants

Very close to resturants/shopping areas, especially the beach. Room is clean but if have free clean up service that will be great. Staff are all very helpful and nice even they cannot speak very fluent english. Enjoy to stay in this hotel:)

Hotel very nice, but hotel.com show wrong location

Everything is nice, it is brand new hotel with valuable price. However, the map showing in hotels.com is incorrect which waste much of my time to seek the hotel, in addition, the car GPS cannot search this hotel too. This hotel is just opposite the Vessel Hotel Campana.

해변과 아메리칸 빌리지 근처에 있어서 정말 좋다 그 방은 꽤 크다. 그들은 소파도 가지고 있다. 욕실도 깨끗하다.

ホテルがアメリカビレッジの目の前で、宿泊した部屋608からは花火も見れて素晴らしいかったです。 駐車場はホテルの下にありますが台数が少なく、無い場合は近隣の駐車場に停め徒歩で約5、6分かかります。

２度目の利用です。前回は下層階だったので景色はイマイチ、今回は8階で景色は最高でした。イオンスーパーからも近く、とても便利です。また是非利用したいと思います。

酒店雖小但房間很大, 房間露台可以望到海景及美國村感覺很好, 雖然房間配有小廚房, 但沒有廚具是唯一的不好.

適合家庭旅遊住宿地點

櫃檯人員服務親切，可租借廚具（很乾淨），有停車位但不多建議早點到，附近不一定找得到車位（逢日本年假）。房間空間很大，環境乾淨舒適。緊鄰海灘，早上很多人延海灘旁跑步，有運動習慣的人可參考。

건물은 오래되었는데, 넓고 층고도 높아서 개방감이 있어 좋네요
