The big issue was the air conditioning. Our room wouldn’t get cool. A staff looked at it, but it still didn’t work properly.
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous hotel. Barbara was really helpful and friend for our check in process. Loved the place
Very comfortable beds. Great view of coliseum at the end of the street and walkable neighborhood.
Fabulous location and value for money
The location was fantastic as we wanted to be near to the colosseum. It really was great to be in the middle of a buzzing area that was very lively. I would recommend ear plugs as well, as the windows are not double glazed. There were plenty of fantastic restaurants, particularly Oliva, the restaurant owned by the hotel. We had a fabulous meal and the service there was brilliant. The service as a whole was fantastic at the hotel. The receptionists and the breakfast team were always very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast too. The only slight downside was our Quadruple room was quite tired and could do with a spruce up. The floorboards were broken, the shower tray pealing and the upholstery on the chair coming apart. If we were staying more then two nights I probably would have asked to move rooms but as we only used the room to sleep in (the beds were very comfy), we made do. But this doesn't take away that this is a great boutique hotel based in a fabulous location and definitely great value for money.
Convenient location, fairly modern hotel with all the basics you need. the free tours and activities offered to guests is a nice touch.
Loved their breakfast
Nice hotel in great location
We had a great stay at Condominio Monti - very good service, comfortable bed, very clean, and best of all was the location down the street from the Colosseum. Cocktails at the rooftop bar upstairs were very good as well. Our only complaint was that the noise levels from the hallway carried quite a lot into the room, especially on the fourth floor where guests had to take the stairs to get to breakfast. But, we would probably still stay here again given the location, price, and quality overall.
the bathroom shower leaks water to the outside.
The hotel is in a perfect location for central Rome. The reception staff - Federica, Letibia and Claudia - where so helpful and wonderful. If we where to return to Rome, we will definitely stay here again.
Great hotel in a very convenient location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The property was well located, near the colloseum. Staff was always friendly and helpful. We were in a separate part of the hotel with a separate entrance with a gate which was opened all day and until really late at night (So technically anyone could come in and out) so didn't feel the safest. Overall was good but very overpriced.
Wonderful experience.
The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and had great suggestions for us. The rooms were very nice.
Room was a size of a match box. Location was good but somewhat hard to find. Liked rooftop bar, breakfast was Great! Bed not comfortable.
Boutique hotel with excellent and friendly staff. This is a good fits your basic needs with some added perks like breakfast and location. If you are just needing someplace to crash after a day of exploring Rome or someplace great to start your day before, this is it.
Great view down the street- The Colosseum!
Great location and great neighborhood to find more local dining. Quick walk to Colosseum and other sites. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious. Nice breakfast buffet included as well.
This was my fourth trip to Rome and have stayed at different parts of the city. I found this location to be my favorite. It’s close to the Coliseum and an easy walk to Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. We felt safe at night walking home from Via die Serpenti where we listened to violin and guitar music from local musicians. Just magical.
Room was clean and decorated nicely. The breakfast on the rooftop was cool and they had lots of food options as well as great service by the staff. Something unique that we appropriated was that they had post cards with different land marks on them in the room. They also offered us a complementary glass of Prosecco upon arrival. Location was great - lots of restaurants near by and it was less than a kilometer to the Trevi fountain and colosseum. Would recommend this hotel!
Views of the Colosseum & Walkable
Lovely boutique hotel, small rooms, but well thought out all you need for exploring Rome. Great restaurants nearby, walkable to everything we wanted to do, friendly staff and thoughtful details. Wynne breakfast was amazing and what a novelty to enjoy it on a rooftop with a view of the colosseum!
Very nice staff appreciated evry moment there
Staff was very helpful and property was clean
Very walkable to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, even Vatican City. Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Facility was clean, bed was very comfortable and breakfast on the rooftop had abundant options. Would definitely stay there again.
Amazing staff and great breakfast!
Breakfast was fantastic as well as daily service from Sammy and Lorenzo. Each day our room was fully refreshed. Everything was in working order.
The location is great. You can walk everywhere. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very convenient location to the coliseum. We were greeted warmly and offered tours their local guide provides at no cost. Great rooftop bar, restaurant downstairs is excellent too.
The location was great. The hotel offered free tours which was an added bonus. The free breakfast was incredible as well.
Loved the exclusive activities that they set up for guests and the view out to the Colosseum once you step out of the hotel.
We stayed at the Hotel Condominio for four nights and it was fantastic hotel. Particular mention to the fantastic breakfast served every morning and also Samy J who was always very friendly, helpful and smiley!
Amazing hospitality! All the staff but especially the front desk staff were so kind and helpful. We got in around 10 am and they made an effort to get our room ready for us as soon as possible! It’s walkable distance to many attractions and they have a lovely rooftop where they offer breakfast everyday and in the evening it turns into a bar. The rooms were pristine and we felt very safe and taken care of! I will definitely stay here again!
Great place perfectly located to all you could possibly want to see in Rome. We stayed in their smallest room (only thing available at the time). Rooms can be tiny for American standards, but sizeable for European standards. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. We will certainly recommend this location to friends and family.
This hotel is perfectly located to easily see the big sites in Rome. Very easy to walk to all the places I wanted to see. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again.
Loved the location. Staff was very knowledgeable and accommodated our concerns. Had a room directly under the terrace restaurant that was noisy at night. Asked to be moved and they went out of their way to make it happen. The reception called taxis when we needed. Close to many restaurants. The morning breakfast staff was outstanding. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Everyone involved with our visit was outstanding. AC was excellent! It was close to 100* everyday but we were very comfortable in our rooms!
10/10! I would go again!
Great hotel with amazing staff. Upon arrival, the staff helped us with recommendations in the city and also to book a few sights. They have a company who also do free walking tours for the guests. The rooftop bar is great for breakfast and drinks, the service is amazing! Thank you!
Great little hotel with amazing staff. Room was super clean and very well appointed. Our room was on the first floor (second floor for US citizens) and it was facing the street. It was a bit loud from time to time due to traffic outside. However, due to the cleanliness and staff, we compromised on street noise. Overall, extremely happy with our choice.
A small modern hotel. Easy to get to. Lovely breakfast on rooftop terrace. Noise from rooftop terrace patrons can occur at night as it is open the public and they walk through the hotel floors to get up there.
We had a great stay in Rome. The property is central to walk to all the main sights including the colosseum at the end of the road! Our room was sizeable and well decorated. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was a lovely space to sit and enjoy. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is breakfast does not start until 7.30am, this didn’t suit us as we had to leave for a flight, we were offered a breakfast bag but it was not well filled and disappointing given the spread offered. Overall a good stay to explore Rome!
Lovely hotel with great staff
Hidden small Gem
This hotel is a hidden Gem, it's small, doesn't have a fancy lobby, 1 elevator that can take 2 people at a time, rooms on the smaller side BUT lovely staff, great rooftop bar, excellent breakfast, amazing location and very clean, comfertable and QUIET - They have doors that isolate every 2 rooms into a seperate section (from Outside) and keeps all corridoe noise out.
A must stay when in Rome!!
My stay at Monti was short but sweet, just a layover on my journey. When my first flight got canceled, I quickly reached out to Monti to adjust my plans for the airport transfer. They were super responsive, sorting everything out for me in no time. Arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by two friendly ladies who filled me in on all the cool stuff they had to offer: amenities, things to do around the area, and even free tours. I managed to squeeze in one of these tours during my brief stay and I'm so glad I did! The tour guide was as warm and welcoming as the hotel staff, and really knew his stuff about the city and its history. The room itself was great—clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious. Even though I was next to the elevator, I didn't hear a peep all night thanks to a smart design of having a door separating my room and the one across from me to block out hallway noise. I'm a VERY light sleeper and did not hear a single noise from the elevator, or people in the stairway/hall. I'll definitely be booking with Monti again when I come back to Rome for a longer visit!!
Clean rooms and friendly staff with a decent breakfast. On our last day, we had to check out by 3:30am. The hotel staff delighted us with a packed breakfast to-go, including croissants, toast, nutella, jam, honey, and juice. The only disadvantage within the hotel is the strange setup of the elevators, where it seems you have to always climb some steps even if you take an elevator to your floor. As long as you use the bell service and have no need for wheelchair accessibility, it isn't a problem. The hotel is located in a convenient location for restaurants, shopping, and of course historical sites. we could hear enough noise from the street to briefly wake us up. Also, there is a garbage pickup spot near the property, in which we spotted several rats having a feast! However, we never saw rats, or bugs for that matter, anywhere inside the hotel.
Hotel is in prime location and walkable to most major sites. Breakfast on the rooftop each morning was delish, and the front desk staff were absolutely amazing. So helpful and kind.
Condominio Monti is very well located, staff is very nice. The Olivo Restaurant and Le Tavernelle are amazing options to eat around. It is close by the Coliseum and the Trevi Fountain. My sisters and I enjoyed this trip to Rome thanks to this amazing Cousy hotel!
Blocks from the Colusseum
In the middle of a great atmosphere. The desk people were great and couldn't understand why we kept asking for buckets of ice. The room was nice and had a great bathroom for Europe.
Could not speak highly enough. Great location, ac was a lifesaver during the summer and the staff was amazing in helping plan a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine to be delivered to the room after our proposal. Amazing place.
Overall good
Pros: Clean, great breakfast, great location, cool view, cool style Cons: Elevator not always available, Shower issues, Un-air conditioned staircase There was a problem with our shower and some service issues but ultimately they turned it around for us. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you have any sort of mobility issue, if you are a light sleeper, or if you need good lighting in the bathroom. Overall we had a good experience.
Location location location
Lovely little boutique hotel. It was extremely convenient to many things. You can see the colosseum from out front! Letizia at the front desk was extremely helpful. Definitely recommend.
Great location!
Staff is very friendly and informative. The location is about 15-20 min walk max from all the popular areas of Rome. The rooftop bar is an added plus and a fun, upbeat environment that my husband and I enjoyed to end our nights. Don’t miss out on the restaurant on site because the food was delicious.
The hotel is located in an excellent area in close proximity to the Colosseum; however the rooms are very small. I would not recommend the rooms for more than 2 people. The 3 bed rooms are too cramped for more than 2 people. The electrical outlets were spotty in our room because the building is historical.
Loved the hotel. The staff were great and they even offer free walking tours. Location was excellent with the colesseum literally at the end of the road. We walked from the Roma Termino - only about a 15 minute walk. The room was spacious, shower good and the air con worked. I’d absolutely stay here again.
Service was great, big room! Great breakfast
Excellent Rooftop restaurant for breakfast and good location for nearby good restaurants. Very clean room and service.
Fantastic location. Quiet neighborhood and walking distance to great restaurants and the Colosseum. The rooftop breakfast was amazing. We will come back.
Very good hotel!
When in Rome...
Stay here! Had a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful.
Very cute hotel! Great location with walkable distance to a lot of popular attractions, the Colosseum is also at the end of the street, such a cool perk! We were able to find great restaurants in close walking distance.
Staff was friendly and helpful. But this did not outweigh the cons. The bigger rooms were all located in an annex 2 doors over, which had no lobby, no reception desk and the doors were not even locked from 8am- midnight! Had to walk down a dark hallway to small dark staircase upstairs. Needless to say we felt extremely unsafe going in and out at night with our kids. For the price paid, better off staying at a Airbnb for a fraction of the cost!
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The breakfast was amazing with the best staff!
Little gem
Great hotel in a really cool area, surrounded by lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. Staff excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Free WiFi. Everything finished to a high spec. Lovely roof terrace where an excellent breakfast buffet is served. Lots of sights within 15 minute walk and the closest metro station is under 10 mins walk. Rome Termini 15 min walk. Thoroughly recommend.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly! The room super nice and clean. The food outstanding… the location great! Strongly recommend ❤️
Such wonderful staff and great location.
The attention to detail and the service. The staff was so kind. Rooftop breakfast was a real highlight too.
Excellent staff and location
Really all the 5 star reviews say it all. I cannot really expand on those reviews. I will say, the staff at this hotel are the best most friendly people I have come across in my life! The hotel offers mini tours nightly for free and are very cool!! When you stand in the middle of the street, in front of the hotel, you can see the coliseum, it’s beautiful! You will not be sorry booking this hotel!!!
Wonderful and helpful staff and fantastic breakfast.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast staff were great and food was fantastic. Thank you!!!
This is a wonderful area to stay in Rome, and the hotel is very nice. Rooftop breakfast. Rooftop apéritivo after a long day of walking. Clean bed and bath.
Great stay
Great location, fantastic breakfast for being Italy and friendly staff. However, if you are sensitive to sounds you should not stay on the 4th floor.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The Gardenia room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was wonderful! The only negative was the stairs. I was traveling with my 80 year old grandpa and he had trouble getting to the room.
* The staff from the reception to those working in the restaurant were absolutely great, friendly, and super helpful! * Upon arrival, we were asked about our itinerary and they were kind enough to pinpoint all the locations we wanted to see on the map along with the best way to reach each destination and suggestions on additional gems to visit * The location of the hotel is also ideal and a walking distance to many attractions
The hotel is located in a great area close to all the tourists spots. If you look down the street you will see the colosseum, which was cool to see! I also appreciated them allowing our luggage to be stored as we explored city! Thank you.
Super close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. If those are your top sites, you will be happy with this location. Amazing service in reception, breakfast and the complimentary tour. There are all sorts of perks that may interest you. One * removed because the stairs to our Family suite was a tight circular stair. The elevator was super small and felt like it was going to collapse with 2 adults and 2 kids under 13. Toilet was also running for most of the time and my husband had to fix it. Breakfast was amazing, great selection and delicious cappuccinos. We took advantage of the gelato tour which was a nice treat to taste really unique flavours and get a tour of the local Monti neighborhood.
Wonderful hotel
This was an amazing little boutique hotel. The staff was so friendly. It's very small but I think that is what made it so great. Rooms are very small but cozy. The morning breakfast on the roof was the frosting on the cake. It is in walking distance to all the attractions. Hotel offered free walking tours that we took advantage of at night and it was absolutely delightful. Thank you for a wonderful start to our vacation.
Really great hotel. Fabulous location, 20 minute walk to termini station, 10 minute walk to the coliseum and close to other attractions. Restaurants in the surrounding streets are amazing and not tourists traps with pictures of the food. Hotel staff were great and really friendly. The breakfast is severed on the covered roof terrace which was beautiful and the staff brought out a special breakfast and sang happy birthday!
The hotel was in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful
This hotel is very cosy, close to the Colosseum and near to restaurants and shops. There is also a restaurant at the hotel itself which serves tasty, well priced food. The restaurant on the roof top was a nice surprise. The staff members are super helpful and really personable. They can even help you plan your visit of Rome. I found that very unique.
We had a great time here. The hotel is charming and in a great location. The staff were brilliant. Particularly Federica, the hotel manager as well as Letitia and Rosa from reception. We went to a lovely local restaurant on Rosa’s recommendation. We also did a number of the activities organised by the hotel. I was a bit sceptical but they were great. The guide, Virgilio was lovely. It was great to do things other than the main tourist attraction. I’d recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome
It was lovely! The breakfast on the roof was a highlight. The staff went above and beyond to help ensure we enjoyed our stay!
Excellent location . Very close to the colosseum. Close to fantastic cafes and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. A lovely rooftop bar for relaxing and having breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend
The good things about Condominio Monti: The staff - very helpful, friendly, courteous. The location - Monti is a beautiful part of Rome, convenient but away from the crowds. There are great restaurants and cafe's. The rooftop breakfast - a lovely spread of food with espresso drinks and wonderfully nice staff. The okay things about the hotel: The bed was comfortable, but the room is very small with very little space to put more than one suitcase. The lighting is also on the strange side, with more emphasis, I think, to form over function. There are also bedside tables with a big wedge intentionally cut out, so you have to be careful putting down a glass of water or your phone in the middle of the night. The Bad: The noise. The elevator was broken for the four nights we were there, and because there is a rooftop bar, there were loud groups of people clunking up and down the marble staircase until late at night. We could hear EVERYTHING! Seriously, the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. It might be different when the elevator is working, but it was impossible to sleep with all of the noise.
This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. Traveling from Chicago and staying in Rome for the first time, I was nervous. This hotel was perfect. Federica was super helpful the entire time and the sweetest ever! The girls on the rooftop made our morning great every day at breakfast (which was so good!). Will definitely stay here again.
The staff was great! They helped us navigate the area and the hotel was conveniently located to many of the sites we were visiting. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well and the included breakfast exceeded expectations! Overall a great place to stay.
I stayed here for 4 nights. During my stay the front desk staff included Rosa, Giulio, Frederica and Tharidu. All of them went above and beyond to suggest restaurants, activities, give directions and call taxis. The best part about it is they were all so friendly. Even with the front desk busy at times they still managed to tend to everyone looking for assistance. Also, the property was extremely clean. Good job to the porters and cleaning staff. The French speaking woman who cleaned my room (I don’t remember her name) did a fantastic job. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Rome.
Loved my stay at the Condominio Monti. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We were greeted by Rosa who was so welcoming and informative. The rooms were so cute with such comfortable beds. The gorgeous rooftop bar/lounge was such a nice bonus. I would definitely opt in to the breakfast option as there were many delicious options. This is located in an area where it’s a close walk to many attractions.
Loved our stay. Great area. Would definitely stay again
Great location, cool rooftop bar, wonderful staff!
Very nice facility! Staff are nice and friendly. Clean and it is close to everything
Quaint hotel in an excellent and convenient locati
Our stay was amazing. Customer service was beyond expectations. After experiencing difficulties purchasing train tickets, staff helped and made the process so easy. They went above and beyond. The rooms were comfortable and food options were fantastic.
Loved it!
This is my second time at the hotel and it was absolutely wonderful! Nice, clean rooms - small, but cosy. Amazing, friendly, helpful staff. We especially loved Giulio and Frederica F on reception and Veronika, Giorgia, and Valentina on the roof. The hotel is in a great location with a lovely rooftop bar (Asian mule went hard!). Great value for money!
Such an amazing hotel at such a great price. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. I even got all my VIP perks.
Overall very happy with our experience! The service was amazing and they upgraded us for our anniversary. We stayed in the older apartments and you could tell they were a little aged. The bathroom shower did have a little staining on the grout and near the door edges. Overall though not big issues at all, great location and value for the price. What really makes it though is the service.
Everyone was a joy and pleasure! Helpful and kind. Frederica and Luca went out of their way to show us kindness and help our family. We will be back 💗 Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!
Fantastico
We had a great stay. Fantastic hotel and well appointed room. Staff super helpful. Great breakfast.
The personnel were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed my stay with them and highly recommended this hotel. Perfect location, we walked to all the sites and dinners.
Rome with a view. ;-)
This place was amazing!!! Very unexpected. It was new, modern and close to many tourist attractions. It is right up the road form the coliseum. Breakfast was great and served on the rooftop deck. No complaints at all. We will definitely stay here again.
Quality hotel - very central - efficient staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were a good quality however small - especially for a triple room. Although I asked for three single beds I only got a double and a single. Excellent breakfast on the roof terrace - however can be noisy when the top floor converts from a bar to the breakfast room.
A Wonderful place to stay in Rome with a great location.
Lovely hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. We felt very welcome and looked after. It was a lovely end to our Italian vacation

Great location and the staff is absolutely amazing.
