Odd smell in the hall, small specks of blood on the sheets and on the curtains and there is a $150 holding fee that I was unaware of.

construction going next door so lots of equipment, trucks, etc. but it was no problem. room was very clean and bed was very comfortable.

Tina is amazing ! i got in about 30 mins early she let me check in. She went above and beyond since the pool was closed for my family and even found me a fan since the room was on the warmer side. very good customer service she helped make this stay great.

Not worth the money…the entire hotel smelled strongly of a chemical cleaning smell yet the rooms weren’t very clean, the pool was broken, and we had to switch rooms three times to find a bed that wasn’t broken. If we could have cancelled our non refundable reservation, we would have immediately left. The only good thing about this property is the friendly and patient staff who helped us finally get to a room without a broken bed.

Check-in staff (one young woman) was super friendly and helpful, even finding us a luggage cart to assist with getting to our room. Room was great, beds were firm and just right. Breakfast was great. Wi-fi was powerful enough to reach our room at the very end of hall.

Found a used pair of ladies underwear left on the floor under a chair. The toilet worked at first then the tank wouldn’t fill back up to flush again

Rooms were update and friendly staff. Parking lot is small and the pool was empty and closed.

While the stay was good- staff was good-however We left a expensive suit hanging in the closet called when we realized it room hadn’t been rented but suit was gone the person cleaning the room denied seeing it.no resolution

Helpful help, if you know what I mean. Room needed cleaned a little better. Not bad, but the small things hadn’t been done in a while. Shower got cold quickly. Breakfast was good. Coffee tasted like Lake Erie. We would stay again but we probably won’t be there again, if you know what I mean.

Convenient location near multiple places to eat. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only complaint was bathroom had a smell and tub needed to be upgraded because it was deteriorating around the drain. Rest of the room and floors were nice. Bed was very comfy!

My check in process with Tina was terrible. There was an issue with my reservation that she provided absolutely no help or hospitality in trying to solve. Expedia customer service was excellent in helping me our check in issue, but I will never stay at that location or any other comfort inn and suites again! Tina interrupted me, spoke over myself and my significant other many times, insisted that with her best experience of two years she was in the right. It was just awful. And on top of that our suite smelled strongly of marijuana!! I hope Choice Hotels makes a visit to this location and review them. I’d be happy to explain more of the details. Lastly, thank you to Expedia and their customer service representatives for helping smooth over our reservation quickly and easily. Expedia saved the day!!

It was a okay hotel. It served its purpose. We went to the airshow and it wasn't that far from it. If I had it do it over I would have went somewhere else.

The posts and the announcements on the phone said this was newly remodeled. That’s beyond the truth. the carpet was worn in the room. there was a hole on the shower wall the stairs were dirty. the stairwell at the bottom was full of debris and the windows were dirty. everything was just messy, stained and unkept.

Sam at the front desk was helpful with our check in, and suggesting a restaurant. Bed was a bit firm for me, but clean and plenty of pillows.

The front desk attendant was very pleasant during check in, but the condition of the hotel warrants a poor overall review. The room was not clean, the curtains did not close all the way allowing light from the adjacent hotel to pour into the room all night, and the whole property smelled like weed. It was also expensive especially considering all of the above.

The hotel was convieniently located and there was plenty of food and shopping available. However our room was at the end of the building and close to main st. so there was a lot of traffic noise. Also it was not as clean as we would have liked including an old bbq laying outside our window...but overall I would still reccomend. Good staff and the breakfast was very good.

The staff was friendly, but the property appeared old and was not maintained that well. The sheets looked dirty with hair found on both of the fitted sheets and on the top of both comforters. The pool needed remodeling. There were multiple metal objects around the pool deck that were rusty. Powdered rust dust surrounded these objects. The area immediately surrounding the hotel has a motel 6, Waffle House, McDonald’s, and there were 2 different beggars outside. Overall, not worth the $170 I paid for the night at all.

Could be better

We arrived on a Friday evening to a room that smelled like wet dog. When we asked for a new room we were told “That room isn’t a dog room and nothing else is available.” We went back to the room to clean the AC filter where we found dog hair coating the filter. We washed the filter and pulled the blankets back to find a used tissue. We went back to the front desk to get new sheets. This time we were offered a new room. The new room was clean. During the night, we smelled the strong scent of marijuana in a non smoking hotel. The next night was great with no complaints. We likely will not stay here again.

The hotel manager on duty, Brianne was wonderful. Welcoming, professional and patient. She ensured the room was clean and acceptable. She greeted every guest professionally. The lobby is clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast attendant was very nice and attentive.

Beds a bit soft, but room was nice. They treat well behaved pets very nice.

Great customer service and clean

Room 219 AC didn’t work so they kindly moved us to another room that had a working AC unit. Other than that we were happy with our stay. It was clean, friendly service, and comfortable.

They required me to make a deposit of $150 when I checked in on my credit card. They said this was to cover possible damage to the room. They said that they would issue a refund to my card that could take up to two weeks to post to my card.

Given a room next to the elevator that ran all night. Heavy cleaning solution smell was nauseating. Stayed only one night of the two I booked & it wasn’t the cheapest available. I will be following reviews before booking unknown locations in future.

The room was dirty the employee was nasty

I've stayed here a few times ( 3 or 3 times) before and it was fine for a budget hotel. But this time they must be under new management. The lobby and hallways REEKED of mildew and mothballs. The smell hits you like a ton of bricks when you walk in. I almost checked out but I was only there for 2 nights and the rooms didn't smell so bad. The pool is super small. More like a kiddy pool. You definitely couldn't swim laps. AGAIN, I can't stress this enough, the lobby reeked of mildew and moth balls. The evening front desk staff was not friendly and the "free wifi" didn't work. For $130 a night It shouldn't smell like your grandma's basement. I plan on writing a letter to corporate.

Nice hotel for the money it was clean and comfortable

I booked through a third party I called the hotel and told them I made a mistake they would not cancel my reservation they said I had to call the third party I called the third party and they said to call the hotel therefore the hotel took my money and left a terrible taste in my mouth! I stayed at another location for a week why I was in the Dayton area the one on Miller Lane the staff was great I've stayed there before sadly I'm attending a wedding in October close to this property and I would have booked at that hotel that I did make a mistake at meaning this one but since they were so uncooperated with my mistake that I made when I picked the wrong location to extend my stay by one day they were more worried about taking my $1$60 then customer service satisfaction therefore I will not recommend this property and I will not stay that this property it left a cloud over the whole hotel chain maybe they should reevaluate their procedures! I thought they were very rude to me on the phone when I realized I made the mistake but they would not do anything about it they pointed out that it was my mistake so my mistake their game sad!

Excellent experience for the value.

Room was clean & ready upon arrival. My only negative was that even though the AC worked great to keep us cool, it felt humid/musty. But not to where I needed a room change.

Billed a service fee after checkout. When I called the hotel they said they always bill a service charge for prepaid 3rd party bookings. This was never disclosed in advance. They wait until after you check out to charge you

We had a two-night stay. On the second day I asked housekeeping to give us new towels and wash rags and empty our trash and he was very rude.

Unacceptable Road Stop

Stopped here just to rest on long road trip. Booked through Hotels, then checked in 30 min. later. Was charged a $150 deposit. Given room next to vending and noisy ice machine which was leaking. Hotel is old and in run-down condition; adequately cleaned. Breakfast was substandard. Nonetheless, the hotel suited our last minute purposes. However, on checkout we were told we could not have a receipt because of Hotels booking (this has never been a problem in any other property). We asked for a receipt for the deposit; we were told it would be sent by email (we gave our address). The staff was unfriendly, to say the least. -- The $150 charge went through on our card; we have received no receipt; three days later the charge has not been credited back. -- We don't usually leave reviews but this was such a bad experience we feel compelled to do so.

Friendly desk clerk, dirty room

We had to change rooms because our room had a dirty sheet on the bed and a straw wrapper. The desk clerk was very nice. The hotel was not worth the price we paid. We were on an emergency trip and didnt have time to hotel shop as it was last minute and late at night.

Gave me a room where others were already in. Hotel was smelly and not kept up. I was only there one night so not a big deal.

Nice Hotel

The hotel's decor is up-to-date and attractive, both in the public areas and the room. Front Desk staff were friendly and attentive. Complimentary lemonade and cookies are offered in the lobby in the afternoon/evening, as are copies of USA Today at breakfast time. The room and its furnishings were very comfortable. Although not mentioned in the Hotels.com description, there was a microwave and fridge in the room, along with the coffeemaker. The hairdryer and overhead light in the bathroom were inoperable, however; I left a note for the maid to attend to these items. The hotel is conveniently close to the highway, but its location between a Waffle House and McDonald's seemed to be the cause of some extra external noise (e.g., dumpster lids banging). The complimentary breakfast buffet was the best we have seen, post-COVID. In addition to cold cereal and oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, pastries and beverages, they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon, DIY waffles and another DIY item (pancakes?). There was no need to look elsewhere for breakfast! All in all, a nice, comfortable stay with just a few negatives. We definitely would stay here again if passing this way.

Very mixed review. The manager asked for my e-mail and I gave it to him without thinking (bad idea). WITHOUT TELLING ME, he signed me up for Choice Rewards, which I have already gotten out of. I am now getting spammed twice every day!! UGH Otherwise the hotel is okay and the morning desk clerk was very nice.
