Comfort Inn @ Dixie, Toronto

My stay was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. I was very disappointed to learn that the hotel does not accept pets as I had already booked my return trip stay and was told that couldn’t be honoured as they don’t accept any pets. Perhaps, something to consider.

Good for short stay during transit time

Located nearby Airport (10 mins by car) Very convenient for short stay during the transit time for your next flight . Bed is super comfortable and clean bathroom. However all fixed furnitures seemed very old and outdated. Overall good and all beddings are very clean condition .

Lucky on the front desk @ check-in was great! Friendly and jovial which was welcomed after a crazy day thanks to Air Canada chaos!!

Great stay close to the airport

This was an excellent place to stay! Our flight was cancelled and we had to overnight in Toronto. We picked this place because it was close to the airport, a good price, and had a free airport shuttle. We didn't expect much, but were pleasantly surprised! The shuttle was prompt, and our driver (sorry, I didn't get his name) was excellent, and had helpful advice. The manager on duty, Lucky, was super helpful and very friendly. He was able to give us a late checkout at no extra charge, as well as supply us with free toiletries. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the attached restaurant. They were severely understaffed and slow as a result. We had supper there, and it was really good, and a better than expected price. We went there for breakfast, and after waiting for 15 minutes with no service, we went to the Denny's across the street. As we were leaving, someone else mentioned it took them 2 hours to have breakfast, the service was so slow. We'd definitely stay here again, but I'd think twice about eating at the restaurant.

It was good vale for money. The only negative was the small lumpy pillows!

The staff were very friendly and the building was very clean. Our only negative was the amount of static electricity when we touched switches and moved sheets and blankets, but i'm not sure what can be done about that.

A Place to Crash

Hotel is tired looking and in need of upgrade. Not the cleanest either. Shuttle only leaves every hour on the hour. Beds are comfy.

I received conflicting messages by front desk staff. The originally told me that I could use debit when I arrived to purchase the room and incidental fee then when I arrived they said it was credit card only. During my check in process he was physically checking me in but he was speaking with another employee the entire time,he hardly acknowledged me. I wasn’t able to understand what they were talking about because I only speak English. I think from now on I will be staying at the hotel across the street.

We stay here when flying from Pearson early in the morning. The airport shuttle is a bonus. And they offer long term parking fir two weeks or less. Goid restaurant on-site too.

We stayed one night here while visiting the Toronto area. The room was great. Fairly updated and modern. Very clean, and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant next door isn’t too bad. I’d probably eat somewhere else if I had a rental car though.

The shuttle to/from the airport is very convenient - this was my third time staying at this property but the cleanliness this visit was far from satisfactory - it would be ok if the staff seemed to care but this time they did not. Usually have a lovely stay here but would check out another location next time.

Good airport hotel. Shuttle in morning is only on the hour so that is less convenient for some flight times (do you cut it close or give up some sleep to take an earlier shuttle). Checkin effiicient. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Dining options nearby.

Absolutely phenomenal stay. Great price. Staff were very helpful. Allowed us an early check. Rooms and facility actually looked and smelled freshly cleaned every day. The only thing I would say was bad was the water pressure in the shower.

The staff were friendly, the room was fine, although no hair dryer to be found. Getting the one shuttle is limiting from a timing point of view but it worked. The noise was terrible! In the room, (Mechanicals)< noise from neighbouring rooms, hallway, ice machine, outside drag racing and trucks through the night. Almost impossible to sleep here.

I like the free airport shuttle and the driver that took us there in the morning of departure. I wish that there had been someone to help us get our luggage to and from the hotel room, as two senior women traveling, it would have been nice if one of the two counter people offered to help

The air conditioner was way to loud, we had long flight before us, wanted to have quite night, woke up with hadeck because of the very loud air-conditioner. The didn't offer to give some discount, its not worth the money 😕
