Always predictable- not wonderful, but safe clean, good staff. A little pricey for what is offered

I was very happy with the staff, they were very kind/welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Great variety of food for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again!

The room was 16 degrees when we checked in, even after calling ahead. Perhaps the heat should be turned on in the room a couple hours prior to check in. We arrived at midnight and had to keep our clothes on until 2:00 just to stay warm before going to bed

The sign in process went well. The girl at the front desk was friendly and efficient. The room was clean but upon my arrival there was just minimum heat and the heat level did not become comfortable at all during my stay. Actually, when arriving at the room, I had to get front desk to reset à breaker before the heater even started. The television only had a limited number of channels made available through apps. I was not able to watch a hockey game because the channel was not available though it is a very popular sports channel in Canada. The breakfast was adequate. Overall, I would give my experience at this Comfort Inn a 3 out of 5.

Great friendly staff

Quick Visit.

Quick overnight visit to North Bay. The Hotel was very clean and quiet. That staff were amazing. There is some general wear in the rooms but very nice. The bathroom was a bit small. Enjoyed being on the ground level with patio doors, easy to bring stuff into the unit.

The beds are very old and hard. The bathroom is in much need of attention. Moldy caulking in the shower and toilet made an awful noise. There were no sound barriers. We could hear that person in the next room coughing. The patio door didn't sail, so we could hear everything outside. Overall not a good stay

We stayed here to break up a long drive. I like how close to the hwy it was. I picked ground floor so I could park right infront of the room. Had a patio door walk out and got some great pictures of the northern lights. I wouldnt say it was walking.distance to many restaurants, but in 10 minutes we were able to have Skip deliver our meal right to our room.

Comfort Inn was very clean, as well the reservation staff and cleaning staff were very polite and amicable. We enjoyed our stay.

Quiet despite the fact that a highway is nearby. Also a good hot breakfast is provided.

There were dirty fingerprints on the bathroom door. Multiple markings that looked like they had accumulated over time. The rest of the room was clean. No blame from me to the cleaning staff. They have a time allotment for each room and areas of focus. Perhaps a few extra minutes if allotted for looking for this kind of thing would make a difference. I was very disgusted and cleaned it myself.

Nice and close to everything

Staff very nice. Bed comfy. Great location for name-store stopping and food. Easy to find. However, the room was very noisy from street sounds all night (also man yelling in hall but staff addressed). Shower curtain rod installed wrong and so curtains could not stay in place; obvious water damage from this (Rm 218) and made having a shower impossible. Also very limited counter space in bathroom; inconvenient for managing toiletries. It's ok if you're not fussy about cosmetic appearance. Bring ear plugs.

Room smelled like old wet dog. Hot water was broken. Staff was very nice.

Some furnishings in bedrooms are old outdated or a bit torn.

The hotel staff cancelled our reservation and failed to notify anyone so we arrived at approximately 11:30PM so after an extremely stressful and exhausting trip to North Bay we had no where to stay. I've stayed at this Comfort Inn before and had no issues however, the man working the front desk on this attempt was not helpful whatsoever. The attendant offered no resolution or recommendations on how to resolve the situation, even when we expressed concern about having to sleep on the streets. This was extremely disappointing, no customer should be left without any options.

This used to be my go to hotel for short stays in town. After my last visit, il never go back. Must have new ownership that just dont care. Terrible.

It was good. Easy check in. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Had booked three rooms. Only issue was one of the rooms we found a pair of underwear in the bed

I like Comfort Inns. They're not fancy but the beds and pillows are so comfy and the staff is great. The coffee in the lobby was surprisingly tasty. The only issue I had with this stay was the smell of the detergent used to wash the bedding. I am sensitive to scents and have not noticed the detergent in other Comfoirt Inns, I can usually smell the bleach, which oddly doesn't bother me as much. This time, it smelled like shea butter. This is not an issue for people who don't have sensitivities. It wasn't overpowering. Just present enough to be bothersome.

I'll start by saying the service was exceptional! Everyone we dealt with was amazing. The room on the other hand left me with some concerns. There appeared to be mold in various places in the bathroom (the ceiling, around the tub and on the walls) and there was an obvious water mark on the ceiling over one of the beds. The air conditioner was old and did not work very well. The walls in the room had various foreign substances on them.

Naomi saves the day.

Staff were amazing, especially Naomi who greeted us on our arrival. She informed us that she did not have a reservation for my wife and I which was booked over 2 weeks prior on Hotels.com website and they charged my credit card for the entire anount for our stay. Naomi managed to contact Hotels.com and after about 30mins on the phone she had everything resolved as Hotels.com didn't send the reservation or payment. After a 6 and half hour car ride it was great to get in a room to sit back and relax before heading out for dinner. Breakfast was very good everyday, the room was clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly. Make sure you contact the hotel you booked to make sure they have your reservation.

There was spaghetti and spaghetti sauce on the curtains when we first arrived. Cobwebs and spiders we killed to the first day. Was not stocked with toilet paper or Kleenex. We needed to go down to the front desk, the first day to stock. The orange juice was great.

Walls are paper thin. So if you have neighbours who have kids , pets and talk loud you can hear it. Room was clean , but needs more care. Tons of Cob webs beside wardrobe , bathroom could be better , and freezer was full of ice and fridge was full of water ! Bed was very comfortable and lines nice and clean ! Breakfast , ok. I stuck with toast and waffle, tried eggs but couldn’t eat them! But honesty for the price it was no more or less than what one might expect. It was close to the 11, close to stores and restaurants ! Basic Motel! Worth the $ !

My wife has mobility issues. I should have enquired about an elevator, or requested a ground floor room when booking. I had to pay extra for a ground floor option at check-in. Appreciated the wide selection for breakfast.

There is a nice sitting area outside. The breakfast spread was also nice.

I chose the property because it was closer to a friend's house and away from the crowded Lake Shore area. Each staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional and the condition of the room was clean. The continental breakfast had a good selection and the eating area was clean and inviting.

Well...my bed was shaped like a banana. My sink had brown caulking all around the edge leaking out and looked crooked. The bathtub had black spots on it. Generally pretty shabby. Big room, and oddly the TV was dope.

I didn’t like we were suppose to get another bed, but it was a pull out chesterfield —-no linens or pillows to make it up. Room was small, and terrible lighting for reading.

The staff does a fantastic job at making a stay acceptable. The rooms are in desperate need of updating. The beds are sagging, the washrooms need updating to remove the stained wallpaper and mold in the bathtub area. The room had a stale smell and the carpet needs cleaning. The continental breakfast was good. Better than others. I appreciated the scrambled eggs, variety of bagels, choice of tea or coffee, nice selection of juices from a dispenser. At $89 per night, maybe one gets what they pay for.

It was nothing special as far as the hotel itself. The room had a musty smell, the room could’ve used some repairs and the mattress was pretty uncomfortable. The staff was friendly though and it was close to where we needed to be.

Found out stayed here a couple of times already excellent they’ve got good breakfast selection and it’s convenient to the highway just on and off and very quiet for a very comfortable sleep

We have not problem with the employee but the policy of hotel. We checked in and didn’t like the.location. the hotel is full of workers. The toilet would not flush properly, we had to reset the heater. The internet was very slow and the tv didn't work. We wanted to leave as we wouldn't see spending a night there. The desk said internet was down and we should have read the notice when we checked in.

No hassle at front desk upon arrival and leaving. Room amenities all there and working. Very clean overall. Will use again if needed

Very disappointed when woke up this morning and pulled back window drapes and saw tons of Black mold all around windows. I took pictures if you want to see them. Very disappointed as this was my go to hotel in North Bay. Been at this hotel several times this year. Dean

A good, basic motel for overnight.

Desk clerk was nice. No elevator. No carts for luggage.

Dog (very large pitbull) was barking for hours during the afternoon on March 2 as trying to take a nap. Also confronted by pitbull in the small hallway/stairwell. We have stayed at this location at least 4 other times this year and our experience was much better.

I didn’t like that you had to walk to the end of each hallway to go downstairs to get breakfast

Overall pleased ! Check in was quick and friendly , the room was clean and plenty of room (thou furniture was a bit dated .) I had a ground floor business room with outside access to room , I’m sure this would be fabulous in the summer . Breakfast was as expected and satisfying . I’d stay again with family
