Cocobay was perfect. The resort is gorgeous, the staff is so kind and helpful and always willing to go out of their way to serve you. The food was fantastic, and the little cottages were so quaint and always clean. We would definitely go back!

PARADISE AT COCOBAY ANTIGUA

Excellent resort, and a great value for your vacation dollar. The restaurant is as good as any 4+ star eatery in the New York Metropolitan area using the freshest produce and spices. Food is cooked to order - no buffets & lines. l Lovely Caribbean water views from the dining areas. The bartenders feature traditional and creative new drinks daily infused with fresh island juices. Our room, a private bungalow on the hilltop, had beautiful views overlooking the ocean with an infinity-edge plunge pool. We will return to Cocobay Resort.

Private Oasis

Incredible resort and staff. No dissapointment. Views were endless, weather was perfect and the resort was very clean. Pools were always clean, beaches clean. Service was perfect! Dinner is delicious, booze were flowing. Cocobay is not a big place which made it very private. Lots of nearby beaches, highly recommend renting a car (even though you’re driving on the left) it’s not hard to get around and there are so many beaches nearby to stop at with nobody at them! It’s truly a slice of heaven. Best vacation we have had yet!

Unfortunately, the hotel and especially our room, were not reflective of the pictures we saw when we were booking the trip.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here at CoCobay resort and have nothing but great things to review. The staff (specifically Kerry, Derrick, Yocasta, Jaquanne, Shenika, Topaz, Mr. Gore, and so many more but we don’t remember their names) were attentive, kind, hospitable, and genuinely fun to get to know and talk to. We made such great connections with the staff that we had a difficult time saying goodbye. Not only were the rooms (really personal bungalows) so cute and relaxing but they were very clean! There was great air conditioning in the room to the point were we got cold a couple of nights. We did not partake in any extras offered, but we still had plenty to do (kayaking, and paddle boarding) and spending copious amount of time relaxing on the beach, and hanging by the pool. We highly recommend choosing this resort as your next travel destination. We plan to return in the future!

This resort was exactly what we needed! We loved our time here. The staff was very accommodating & made sure our stay was perfect. Our room was spacious & nice. We loved having the plunge pool to relax in. We celebrated our anniversary here. They decorated our room for us. It was very hot. It did feel like our room never got cold during the day. They were very accommodating with the menu at the restaurant. Let them know ahead of time & they will make your order. 10/10 experience. I will say if you book an excursion like swimming with the pigs, make sure to have them confirm the water taxi. We were 30 mins late to our tour because the taxi they arranged never showed up. The jet ski guys down on the beach saved us & helped up get there. Only con we had with this resort.

We love Antigua and have visited several times, staying at different resorts each time, except CocoBay - where we stayed on our honeymoon 11 years ago. The food was and still is the best food of any resort, even more expensive or more “luxury” resorts we’ve stayed at. The service is great! Every staff member is friendly and helpful. The cottages are definitely more rustic as they are meant to be but they are clean and comfy, with great little extras like reusable water bottles and drinks. Since we last stayed, they added a fitness room. It’s fairly barebones but it had everything we needed, even a rowing machine! I would recommend CocoBay for any foodie couple wanting a relaxing time.

My husband and I stayed at this property two years ago and came back because of all the beauty and all the love and care that everyone takes to make people feel welcome. We love the beautiful view from our cottage and the meals that you serve at your restaurant are truly unique and delicious. The jerk chicken is very tasty as well as the seasonings that you use. Also, the variety of desserts are one of a kind we loved the pistachio and chocolate ice cream, and the Keylime pie and the chocolate lava cake and the granola at breakfast and the wonderful lattes at the coffee shop and the beautiful beach always kept so clean Jermaine and Marlon and Kathleen really make us feel at home. We could truly go on and on about the reason we’ll be coming back to this place and bringing others with Us.

We loved our stay at cocobay. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food options and portions were great. Drinks amazing. We will definitely go back to cocobay one day. It is a must!! Also very safe and beautiful place.

Everything was very good. Friendly staff. Food was decent, not great. Only real issue were the flies. You got totally swarmed at breakfast and lunch. It was very bad. At dinner, no flies. The resort did nothing to help with the flies. (Fans, fly traps, etc. )

Great location. The beach and the ambient to relax is excellent. The food was good and drink options included everywhere. Love the place to relax and space out.

One of the best properties in the area

Very romantic, great customer service, anything you ask for they will go above and beyond to try to accommodate. The scenery is beautiful. We were in one of the furthest cottages and loved the privacy and the frogs and waves crashing at night we could hear even with the door closed it was like a natural sound machine. We never went hungry and it was so nice having table service for every meal. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful time here. The property was unique and fun! When ordering food from the restaurant keep in mind portion are small so order lots. Bring eat plus the wildlife is noisy at night. Over all a beautiful experience for couples!

Paradise!!!! This was our first stay at Cocobay and we booked it based on the previous reviews. I can honestly say that we had a fabulous time and I would highly recommend it. I have included some feedback below to help you decide if this is the place for you or not – for us we will certainly be returning! Resort and Rooms This is a quiet resort but is situated in a lovely setting. We booked a room which was ocean facing and had a plunge pool – we loved it. Do be aware, these rooms are not sleek and marble in quite the same way you would get with a traditional hotel. The rooms are individual cottages and quite rustic but very clean and within a lovely setting. If you want the plush and sleek this probably isn’t quite the hotel for you. This is about the setting and the individuality of the rooms. We loved it! Shower was fantastic and very powerful. The king size bed was a really good size king and very comfortable. There was a ceiling fan and air conditioning which was very effective. The rooms are a bit dark and it could do with a light between the clothes storage area and the bathroom. Would also benefit from a chest of drawers as although the rooms are a good size, the space for storing clothes could be better. We arrived at night and so couldn’t see the view but OMG in the morning it was amazing. We loved our balcony with the two chairs and hammock and the plunge pool. Food amazing!!

Love my stay here. I came here to celebrate my birthday and my friend and I’s 13th year friend-aversary. Staff were so so sooooo kind, always helpful and went above and beyond for anything and everything. I recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxed vacation, especially if you are a couple, newlywed or just wanting something more high quality but low key and tranquil.

Nice property, food portions are very small. Was upgraded to a nicer room but fridge was not stocked until the last day. Not much to do there more juat really to relax and go to the beach

Property was older but well maintained. Lots of options for activity or total relaxation. Staff was extremely accommodating. Beach towels were not always available which wasn't ideal.

The property was beautiful, the actual beach area was pretty but I’ve been to nicer beaches. The staff was friendly and helpful however, our floating breakfast wasn't prepared for us and our private dinner had to be cancelled due to the rain, and they didn’t have a backup private covered area so we had a very late dinner at the restaurant. We were a little sad because it was a special day for us, our 20th anniversary and neither of our planned activities happened. All in all, if you’re looking for a quiet vacation, this is it. The nightly live music was also nice. I wish the resort would have implemented more of the local island culture in their food and ambience but otherwise we had a relaxing vacation in paradise.

A superb getaway

We stayed in a wonderful cottage with spectacular views across the bay. Our shower even had doors that opened out to the bay - a new showering experience for us. The hotel sits on a small headland with one infinity pool providing views towards Jolly Beach and the other towards Fyfes Beach. Spectacular sunsets guaranteed! The infinity pools are great places to relax with a cocktail, and the beaches are surprisingly quiet - one afternoon there were fewer than 10 people in the sea at Fyfes Beach Staff genuinely are brilliant, from bartenders to reception to restaurant. The food is first class – imagine going to a relaxed classy restaurant with really well-presented food. Then imagine a covered terraced area on different levels open to the elements with the sound of tree frogs in the background. It doesn’t get much better than this! The Hobiecat, paddle boards and kayak are a great way of exploring the bays. We stayed five nights all-inclusive and came away completely relaxed. The staff really helped us have a special time.

Very clean, views are incredible, quiet beach and quiet resort. Hike back to our room is a hike in the heat, but the views make it worthwhile. Food quality is fantastic, but you'll be limited to 3 choices per course. They do have extra paid options if there isn't anything you like on the menu, but really, you couldn't go wrong. We would pick randomly because everything ended up being amazing and fantastic presentation. Quiet resort with couples looking for quiet as well. It was truly a week away, and came back to the daily grind fully rejuvenated.

Property was beautiful and well kept! The sunset every day at the sunset pool was amazing!! Beach 10/10 staff and surrounding were the best!!!

Our stay overall was excellent we do suggest more food choices & options for one restaurant at the resort & food availability 24/7 , there was a foul smell by the sunset pool , while the food quality & presentation were excellent the portion size was small for all inclusive, obviously its out of your hands but the flies at rafters were overwhelming and it was difficult to see coming back to cottage at night please add more lighting for guests to see better

Cocobay was a mid-price resort; we looked at a couple others that were more expensive but looked like a "brand." We wanted something more rustic, authentically Carribbean and smaller. This was perfect for us. There is only one dining space, but the food was above average. Local and fresh. The setting was beautiful; private. The cottages do not have TVs, which was fine for us. The cottages were very clean and again, islandy! Just like the pictures. The bar was fantastic and the employees were friendly and helpful. I am gluten free; I cannot tell you how helpful they were and they make their own wonderful GF bread. If you want fancy, this is not it. If you want authenticity and lovely natural surroundings with wonderful people, this is for you.

Great location & the friendly staff!

Everyone at Cocobay was so friendly and focused on providing an amazing experience for our visit. Cocobay hosts / staff checked on us often to see that we had everything we needed and that we were well taken care of. The restaurant staff were very accommodating to food allergies / requests. They stayed informed and we did not need to remind rotating staff of food limitations. Their internal communication channels were evident. The daily changing menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner with fresh local sourced ingredients and gourmet cuisine kept us excited for each meal. 5-star all the way! RE: beaches and location, it was perfect. You are within close walking distance to multiple beaches with clear, turquoise blue water and picturesque views all around. Sailboats, Jet Skis, Kayaks, Paddle Boards are very accessible. Sea shells are easy to find. Bartenders service the beach to keep you hydrated / serviced. Cocobay evokes more of a “boutique” or “French Riviera” vibe rather than the typical overcrowded, “franchise / Spring break” resorts. Do yourself a favor and watch Vlogs and read reviews for this and other resorts before booking. You can see why Cocobay gets high marks for experience and value. We cannot say enough about the CocoBay staff, location, accommodations, food and experience! They treated us like family and we can’t wait to go back (hopefully with our friends and family next time). Thank you Cocobay!

Everything was lovely

Cocobay was by far the best vacation experience ever. The food, the people’s happiness, the culture, and overall the hospitality was easily 5 stars. Our bartenders and waiters were so personal, and we legit made friends with the staff. Amazing people, amazing place. By the way, to the person who complained about the food portions, you can always order more. It’s all inclusive, don’t be a turd.

Property was in a great area.The views were amazing. The food was good. Bring bug repellent with deet! Those bugs will eat you alive oh and the flies are disrespectful! Sunscreen is a must! Antigua is amazing.A piece of paradise!

Cocobay is a wonderful resort. Beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful! Food was amazing! Short trip from the airport and the staff was fantastic. 11 out of 10 would recommend to anyone. Great for our 30th anniversary and loved seeing all the newlyweds and others celebrating their love. This is the perfect place for 2!

I paid for the higher end room and my room was leaking and dirty they could not switch me until the next day and it was a lower level room .Also they never offered to even clean the room when a reported that it was leaking and dirty

If you want the perfect romantic getaway- this is the spot!!! It’s very calm and quiet. No parties, not even a tv to distract you while you sleep. We will definitely return in the future. The views are 10/10. Def recommend getting the dipping pool room and doing a day cabana. We felt safe and had great service throughout!

Overall great stay, staff and food! Rooms were beautiful, and views were insane. Not much of entertainment on the resort at night and everything closes at 10 including the bar. Great for a relaxation and couples looking for a chill, and low key resort.

As promised my review and summary of my amazing trip! Arrival at the airport, probably took 10 min for immigration & getting our luggage. *make sure you fill out both sides of paper and keep your end. We booked a taxi with Mr.Lunch, he was highly recommended through the group and he is very professional, and punctual. Arrival to the Resort, we got greated by the concierge, they took out luggage and we went to reception to check in ( we did the online Check in, it saved lots of time) we just had to add a credit card. While we were doing that the concierge brought us drinks. We sat and enjoyed the view while waiting for the manager to come. Once she came she greated us, and we had a breakdown on how everything works. She asked us what time we wanted dinner, and then we were guided to our rooms. We booked through expedia, and had the deluxe cottage private pool ocean view. Room N2 BREATHLESS! Food- when I saw it I said man, I won't get full but I had trouble finishing every meal. You get 4 course meals, the perfect portion. Every meal is amazing, the drinks also¡ the staff so friendly(I loved Kathleen), they are excellent. At the bar we loved everyone in particular Derrick and Yocaste*very very attentive. I was there for my birthday and got sang too by the band because they told them. It was beautiful. The coffee shop was soo good. You have so many choices We did use the paddle boards and kayak from the resort, and rented out the jetski at the beach from Teddy f

The staff is beyond fantastic!

CocoBay was exactly what myself and Wife needed. Quiet and relaxing. The staff was always there for your needs and they were so cool especially Derek the bar tender and Lisa. We came here to relax from the Crazy Fast Pace life and I didn't ask exactly what we did. Deffenitly coming again..

The Hotel is fantastic but once you leave the resort the area is extremely poor. We went to St. John to see the capital. And we were stuck in what was a 20 min ride 3 hours in traffic. Due to a robbing and a shoot out. Stay in the resort don’t leave and everything would be fantastic

Friendly and helpful staff. Love that it is a smaller boutique all-inclusive adult only. Nightly entertainment and you don't have to compete with a lot of people for meals and pool areas. So glad we upgraded to a personal infinity pool for our cottage. Wife would like to go back in January when the weather is cooler!

Outstanding experience at Cocobay. The semi-secluded private cabins were amazing. The resort atmosphere was very low key and promoted relaxation. The Staff were truly focused of providing best service ever. In my opinion, one of best hidden gems in Antigua.

To many flies in the restaurant flying in your drinks and food. The servings of food was very small portions. No entertainment for the guest no music at the bar. My shoe fell behind the fridge in the room and it was filthy like no one ever cleaned there. But outside of that it was very relaxing and all the staff were very friendly professional and respectful. And my two favorite Bartenders where Derrick and Lisa they are amazing!!!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Cocobay. All staff were friendly and kind. Kayaks and paddle boards were available, and snorkeling equipment was provided on request. The room was beautiful and the view from our deck and plunge pool amazing! Food and drinks were great with a different menu for lunch and dinner daily. The beach was easily accessible and although public a staff member checked on us regularly to bring drinks if needed. The gym was small but all we needed. Overall this is one of the nicest vacations we’ve been on in a while, would definitely recommend.

This is the resort to stay if you want to relax. Not the place if you are looking to party. Staff is great. Can get a bit buggy so bring bug spray. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have set menus each day (breakfast is usually the same). Certain timeframes to eat each meal. No buffet. That being said, the food was fantastic.

The staff were exceptional. The view was amazing. I would solely go back for the customer service and scenery. I wish there were more dining options and amenities.

The pool and dining areas were simple but beautiful. The pool in the room was a great supplement. The Beach was small and shared with the public but still nice.

Worst experience ever! They are scam , and not only us were experiencing this issue a lot of their guests. I don't know where to start from but here: First when we arrived Room# 5 was where we suppose to stay but restroom was nasty, not cleaned and bugs all over place ( Mosquitos, ants, cockroaches, wall gecko and flies ) not only in restroom but in room too. doors are not well sealed whether bathroom or patio to room. AC were not functioning well too due to the horrible, outdated rooms and not well sealed so AC really wasn't doing any favor, then they transferred us to room# 35 had exactly same issue but not as bad but we experienced even bed bugs and AC won’t start cooling room except around 3-4AM which is extremely bad. and that was for a lot of guests experience throughout the resort as we were asking if we were the only ones experiencing this or not. Second, they say it's all inclusive on their website, but this is a lie and scam. They have very shot menu for breakfast , lunch and dinner and mostly vegetarian food about 6-7 plates to choose from, however on their website says if you want the chef to do something for you they will do it but that was a lie, I kept asking to get shrimp or beef of any kind they wanted to charge me additional money for food and when I said i already paid for all-inclusive that should be covered and one of the managers her name is (Mel S.) when i kept asking I need any type of protein the answer was to pay additional

What a beautiful vacation we had! Their pool with a stunning views caught my eye as soon as I entered that area. Would highly recommend watching sunset in the pool! I loved their restaurant as well where they changed their menu for each lunch and dinner everyday. All the dishes were very delicious, so shout out to the chef! All the service providers were very kind and always helpful. I would highly recommend this resort to my friends!

Love the setting surrounded by the ocean and trees. Love the personal cottages, peaceful and quiet for rest and relaxation. Two pools and easy access to beach. Easy access to transportation and nice dining area with pool.

This resort is absolutely hands down my favorite resort I’ve been to and I’ve been to around 15 around the Caribbean. Food and service were 10*. And the views are to die for. Can’t wait to return!!

We love the staff, they were amazing! No ATM! No room service. No tv. Limited food options! Suites were well appointed and with great views. Electricity went out on our last night and it took one and a half hour to come back. Tried to xall front desk but it went to voice messge immediately.

Excellent service, wonderful experience.

The all inclusive package had limited items of food. For VIP we had to pay for steak, shrimp and mac and cheese. You had to schedule appointments for lunch and dinner. Entertainment was limited to not much. Drinks were watered down and not tasty. Best part was our view of the Caribbean and leaving resort to explore.

Just got back from Cocobay and I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re on the fence don’t think about it any further and just do it. This resort is absolutely gorgeous with the most perfect views of the ocean. The plunge pool in our room was a huge bonus so I deff recommend booking that. The food at this resort was absolutely top notch. My boyfriend and I didn’t have one thing we didn’t like. It’s a small menu every day that changes so there was plenty variety. The staff was exceptional and made you feel important and very welcomed. This was hands down the best all inclusive resort I’ve ever been to. I’m already trying to think about when I can go back. Thank you Cocobay for giving me on of the best vacations I’ve ever been on.

We had an amazing vacation, very laid back, super relaxing. Stayed in premium room with dipping pool.. used it far more than we had expected. The cottages are rustic island chic, not luxury standard hotel rooms, which is what we loved most. The staff were great, the food was amazing, drinks were deliciously strong! The main pool was great, the lower pool was almost to hot to enjoy. Would highly recommend for couples wanting a laid back, romantic getaway. Oh, and the beach is small but perfect.. clear blue water, bar service. For a public beach, it was not crowded and we were so happy no one bothered us (no solicitors) which we have experienced on other vacations. Overall wonderful time here
