I read multiple positive reviews and comments on forum about Coco grove and nothing is lied. This place is really amazing, the people are really amazing. The beach is really close by and the room is big and gives you everything you need. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The servuce was amazing, so many nice and friendly people, especially at the reception or at the poolbar. I had to buy adapter for electricity because there was only one plug with international standard. But this was only a minor point. Perhaps in other rooms it is better. The resort is phantastic with flower gardens and directly at the beach. So many activities possible. Thank you very much. I will come back again.

Top Resort will visit again. The staff was pleasant and the views were very quality. This is indeed a one of the kind resorts.

The property was beautiful, although the views were very obstructed by the lovely trees. The staff was very pleasant and always approachable. However, it appeared to be a disconnect between listening and acting on requests. The charges at the resort were annoying, simply fixing a set price for all would be less bothersome in the long run. My air conditioning was not working properly for two days. I had to request having my bill adjusted to accommodate the inconvenience. The property granted the bill adjustment but i should not have had to ask. Not once did I see or hear from management regarding this issue. The front desk personnel should not be apologizing, the management should make apologies and amends for the issue. Not sure I would stay again because of the issues. Once again, the staff was great but they should respond to requests with more con ern. Also, reaching the front desk by phone from your room is impossible during the day. I must say, the night time desk person was fabulous (didn't get his name unfortunately). He came up to check air conditioning and even offered me a upgraded room until someone could check out my unit. Bravo to him, maybe he should be the manager!

Loved the architecture and staff and services. All high end quality!

Loved the resort itself. The staff were wonderful, always remembering names and were so welcoming. The resort itself is right on the beach and it’s beautiful. Always so helpful to arrange to get you the places you need to go. We will miss the hotel staff! The only criticism is that the food was terrible, everything we ate there was stale, had an awful flavour or texture and was under or over cooked. Annoyingly one of us received food poisoning from one of the beach lunchtime dishes which has ruined the holiday a bit. But this is probably an unlikely case. 5 stars other than the food.

We absolutely loved our stay at Coco Grove. We received a warm welcome on arrival and it didn't stop there. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The resort itself is set on a beautiful beach with great facilities and fantastic food. If you are visiting Siquijor this is the place to stay!

Beautiful setting. Great for a family

Everything was amazing except the WiFi connection was very poor. The beach was not swimmable due to debris floating around as well as the weather.

Staff were amazing, the room we had at the property was a little bit in need of a spruce up, also the maintenance issues we had were dealt with immediately by the team, which was appreciated. All staff were lovely and could not do enough for us, special mention to the team at the pool bar (Jamaica, Rachel, RM and JR) who really are an asset to the hotel, also special shout out to the breakfast team in the main restaurant who again were amazing. Thanks also to the reception team and housekeeping. Thank you for making our stay so special.

The property area with palm trees and a lot of plants had a feeling for the tropical Forrest. It was awesome! Internet and TV was off and on; maintenance and staff were responsive; the rooms were clean but had its years… looks tired. Food was good; location was better than some Hawaii resorts. Excellent spa; Very good overall. We will be back.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay.

They were great all around, picked up at ferry and take us to hotel, with welcome drink at hotel. Staff always great and feiwndly and friendly, fast service at all restaurants, just great place to stay. Love siquijor and i will return to stay again

We had a very pleasant stay. Pick up and drop off free. Breakfast included and it’s delicious. Either you can rent their van/car or get a tour package with them. And they can purchase your boat ticket back to either Cebu/ Bohol/ Dumaguete. Very friendly staff.

The staff from the front desk to the restaurant was absolutely delightful. My now, fiancé and I had a wonderful stay. The only con, was the band that plays at the restaurant on Saturday nights has their exterior PA cabinets facing the hotel rooms. You can't get any rest until 10pm.

We've been to Coco Grove on many occasions, the property is absolutely stunning, many would say that its paradise..... if you haven't been, you really should! Food is delicious, staff is warm and friendly, if you snorkle theres a spectacular coral right there that's actually a marine sanctuary! You just simply cannot go wrong by staying at Coco Grove! Food was great, the beach front clean and facilities spread out to give visitors a feeling of privacy. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. The shower was old, with the showerhead holder not well mounted, bidet mounted on the wrong side of the toilet. We had trouble with the aircon on the first night, turned out to be the battery the next morning. The staff sort of helpless. For an executive room level unacceptable

Everyone is so accommodating and willing to assists

The rooms needs a little bit updating. The bed is somewhat uncomfortable and the water pressure of the shower is a little weak. I do not like the fact that you have to take the key off the master switch to leave the room. In the scorching hot temps of the Philippines, it takes time for the room to cool off. Staff are friendly and service was ok.

By far the best hotel on the island. It was a great first anniversary vacation for me and my significant other we had an amazing time and she really loved all the staff and everybody was so friendly I will be coming again in January thank you so much this hotel Blows every hotel on the island out the water such a great place

Staff was great hotel was beautiful

I didn’t like the door locks, they were very confusing. My stay was for 12 days, they did not supply us with beach towels till the last 2 days. Also the soap holder broke and was not fixed. But I would definitely go back for the beautiful beaches, also the great breakfasts which is free.

We stayed at the turtle cottage. It was very clean with a great working AC. The views were spectacular with awesome sunsets. The onsite restaurant had a good variety of choices and everything we tried was very good. The staff and people working at the restaurant were simply the best I have ever seen. Always had that beautiful smile!! The only issue was with the facility, we only had hot water for two of the four nights, not an issue for me but the wife likes her hot showers. Would defiantly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We do not swim so I cannot comment on the snorkeling except to say that there were always lots of people in the water from morning till night.

Great vacation in CoCoGrove!

I booked a room just for 3 days, but it was amazing experience in CocoGrove. Nice and generous staffs and exotic environment made me extend my vacation here! Good restaurants, bars, pools, and even free Yoga classes. All the thing in Coco was completely wonderful! I will be back here in the end of this year. See you again all great staffs, especially thanks a lot, Jeje :)

Positiv: The Organisation was perfect. The property is a dream and the staff very friendly, competend and skilled. Big rooms. Frequently events in the Resort. Less than normal animals roaming around. Negativ: The coffee taste not good, late room service (sometimes 3pm), gym only open in the morning. Sometimes to less staff at the pool bar. Waiting time for breakfast at the restaurant in the front. During our week, they changed to smaller glasses at the complimentary breakfast. Small things where sometimes forgotten during meals (salt, pepper, tissues). Of course prices in thoose resorts are a bit higher, but 340Peso for one shot of Don Papa Maskara is ridiculous. But it was very nice there and we will come back.

Belle hôtel, beaux espaces mais non merci

La plage est belle, on a aimer la piscine sale très profonde. Mais le personnelle, surexploité pour être correcte et à qui on dois demander d’être toujours beaucoup trop enthousiasme c’est très forcé…. J’ai de la peine pour eux et en plus, ils deviennent donc franchement désagréable. Tout les clients ne sont pas égaux dans cet hôtel … curieux ! (Il n’y a curieusement pas de jus d’orange ni de pancake pour les client européens, magique!). En réservant des mois à l’avance notre chambre, en demandant gentiment à la réservation une chambre proche de la plage et silencieuse, nous étions contre les cuisines et face a une piscine bruyante. On demande gentiment d’être changé de chambre c’est paraît-il complet ! Mais quand on s’énerve un peu, comme par magie une chambre se libère ! Quelle chance. ! La cuisine est, très sincèrement, la moins bonne qu’on est goûté au philippines, et accessoirement la plus chère. L’hôtel est néanmoins beau, le jardin tropicale époustouflant, mais je suis directrice d’une agence de voyage et je ne recommanderais pas votre hôtel à mes clients car nous ne sommes ni des mal propre ni des grosses tirelires. Bien dommage ! L’animation n’est pas raffiné, le personnel exploité forcé de danser, un spectacle de feu qu’on peut chronométrer, des difficultés à trouver une table le matin car pas débarrassé donc pas possible de déjeuner devant la mer, 4 tables qui se battent pied dans le sables, des tables « réserver » qui ne sont tout simplement pas utilisé

This resort is excellent! The staff were all kind, respectful and helpful. Thanks to Farrah in reception, Momay, Jesan and Junie in restaurants and team Janissa in Spa department. The rooms are spacious and functional. There’s a lot of choices for the free breakfast and the 4 restaurants serve all meals with variety of food to pick from. We really enjoyed the 4 pools also. Thank you Coco Grove, it would really be hard to stay somewhere else. We loved our stay so much that we booked more days. Coco Grove please extend our thanks to the rest of the crew who helped us but I didn’t get their names. The only downside from our stay was the inability to swim at the sanctuary because of the island ordinance of giving the sea life a rest, totally beyond the resort control so we understand. Overall still an awesome stay.

The Coco Beach Resort offers clean, clear access to the ocean, two large pools (with different depths for children) and a smaller pool near the temple residences. The resort is nicely appointed (walk ways), hand rails in some places and lots of foliage. Check in was good. Check out efficient. The restaurant Salamandas was fine with traditional breakfast choices including (American, Filipino) and a few options for lunch and dinner as well. There is a Play Room for children (that offers supervision, while parents play billiards or take a break in the chairs provided. The resort staff are generally helpful. There are many different rooms types in the resort. We found the temple room to be spacious and comfortable. Another room option we tried required a deep cleaning of the restroom space as the odor was offensive. Wifi was hit or miss. We will return for another visit in the weeks ahead.

The Casa room its very nice with the view of the Pool and sea. The swimming Pools restaurant and beach wow ! Its amazing Place. We love it here. We will be back soon. Very good spot. Staff are friendly, Polite and very Helpful. .beach was clean and blue water. We enjoyed our stay. We can onlly book 1 night as its ully book but, with my husband friend his friend they contack the owner and got us accomodation at Coco Sunset for our 2nd night. We Love it here very relaxing.

Great place but poor wifi

Nice place, good service! Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the WIFI in rooms was not available and places in resort where available it was so poor quality that almost not possible to use. There are resorts close who invested in fiber, time for Cocogrove to do that also. Besides wifi a very good resort!

Definitely the best hotel where we stayed in the Philippines. Beautiful, quiet, the staff was helpful and accommodating and the spa is a must do.

I loved the room we got. It was spacious, quiet, and the view of the ocean and the sunset was amazing!!! I love the amenities they offered and the amazing swimming pools. And their staff were warm, professional and very guest conscious. I love Coco Grove!!!

Everyone was so nice and accomodating. Booking excursions and motorbikes was very easy. The property is beautiful and clean.

Resort is tired and needs a renovation. We were assigned a room on the ground floor next to the lift which wasn't ideal as we were woken by other guests using the lift plus on of the breakfast locations was also just outside our room. As a result we we woken with these noises as well. The room had ants which crawled all over my bed side table and if you left an used coffee/tea cup on the coffee table they were everywhere. Even crawling up the shower walls! We left at 5am so a breakfast was organised. I asked for a cheese sandwich from the options given. For some reason I was given pork and cheese??? Couldn't eat it. Lucky my husband's choice was correct and he got his chicken sandwich. Sandwich was made in a stale piece a baguette and a water was included along with a banana. Very poor breakfast in my opinion when compared to what we received from other places we stayed at. Won't stay there again.

This place is amazing!!! The property is beautiful and the sunset is mesmerizing. When you stay in Coco Grove, you feel like you are in the forest because there are so many trees and plants. The whole place is very green. But the best part of Coco Grove is their staff! They extremely accommodating and very friendly! They are the kindest and nicest people you will ever meet.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. Everyone was so friendly. The hotel looked great with some lovely swimming pools. Would really recommend getting a massage there. You have to try the vegetarian curry for dinner was super nice. Could not recommend this hotel more

Room was spacious. However, poor internet connection in my room, very weak signal my relatives and friends were unable to reach me, even on same premises, on and off connectivity, unless I go outside of my room.

Coco grove never disappoints, our favorite place to stay on Siquijor, great swimming pools, good coral just off the coast for snorkeling, the property itself has a great vibe, you can get great packages at the spa that include Thai style massages. A great all around place for families and couples as well. Highly recommend!

I liked that the staff were always smiling and greeting us guests. Always very helpful and that they can answer questions about not only the resort but most things in general.. plenty of things to do there as well.

Wow as amazing as the location and beauty of this resort is, the friendly staff is just as amazing. Our baby would smile everytime we them because of how friendly they are. Coco Grove is a great place to stay while visiting Siquijor. Good staff and Clint the bartender is the best in the Philippines! I highly recommend this resort and definitely do the trip to Apo Island to swim with the sea turtles.

Set in the context of Philippine island living this location is quite traditional and particularly suited to those who appreciate the peace of natural surroundings , sea , sun, local creatures plus water sports eg swimming and diving. there is an excellent 5 star PADI dive centre (Bahura Dive ) on site and a relaxing restaurant and bar with fresh food cooked and a good selection of drinks!

I think this is one of the best resorts in the Philippines I always go there to relax and decompress.. they have music and performers with buffet on Saturdays, for an extra Fee, but is well worth it. This is a great atmosphere and perfect beach and pools. Plenty of places for pics etc...

The resort is great! The property is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Special mention Rosello at Salamandas restaurant who booked our spa for us and helped coordinate with the front desk when I thought I lost our key card. The breakfast is included in the price and I’d say their breakfast is excellent. They offer proper massage in their spa and at a reasonable price. They have 3 Olympic-sized pools and pristine beach. They also have the Tubod Marine Sanctuary in the property if you want to go snorkeling. All in all is was a wonderful experience. However, there are areas that they can still improve on. 1- Need more generators for instances of brownout. We were there for 3 nights and all 3 nights we experienced brownout at night and my husband couldn’t get a restful sleep as he needed his CPAP. 2- Front desk number should be written on the Resort Map and on the room phone. 3- Front desk requests takes a long time to be fulfilled. I thought I lost my key card and Rosello from the restaurant called the front desk about it and we didn’t hear from them until I went at the front desk myself and saw the key card there. They took 1 towel away from our room for unknown reason and we requested for a replacement. We didn’t get it until we followed it up twice the next day. Despite these, I will still stay here if in the area and recommend this resort to friends and family

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The resort is great for kids. The beach if calm and stretches far that is safe for kids, plus it’s a sanctuary. Early AM snorkeling was perfect to spot 4 sea turtles! Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful property. We spent 13 nights and enjoyed everyone of them. The staff are all very attentive and friendly. All the facilities are top notch. Beautiful Grounds and Gardens.This property is a bit more expensive and worth every penny and more. Will return

i booked 2 rooms that were supposed to be next to each other, then i confirmed it by calling reservations which they they confirmed, upon arrival we were given a room upstairs and downstairs, i have to argue with the front desk staff until they gave us 2 rooms both upstairs but still separate, one on the left wing and the other on the right wing. but we were tired and just took it... customers should be made to experience stuff like this...

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The resort was like stepping into a tropics jungle with village houses scattered about. Great pools and wonderful snorkeling off the beach. They were also very helpful arranging the ferry and transfers. I highly recommend.

A perfect stay !

We had a wonderful time here. The staff provided great service in coordinating transfers and transportation. The spa was great, and the pools and beach are wonderful. We were very impressed by the saturday dinner buffet and show. Very good food and performances. So much fun. Don’t miss it.
