Staff were respectful & conscientious. Pool was not kept clean throughout day. It was obvious that they focussed too much on minimising cost to detriment of their clientele. Simple things like orange juice at b/fast were rationed! Ridicolous for such an expensive hotel.
I loved the decor!! It was very charming and unique! Our main complaint was that the food was not very enjoyable. It was not very tasty and was really overpriced. But the beauty of the resort, the pool with the pink and white striped awnings, and the charming rooms made it all worthwhile.
Amazing grounds and service.
What a wonderful, idyllic spot for a relaxing vacation. From the service, to the cuisine, to the beautiful beach/ocean, I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. I was fortunate enough to stay in the Alleyne room and the location overlooking the ocean was ideal. I cannot wait to return soon!
This was our 1st time at Cobblers Cove and everything about our experience was exceptional from the time we arrived until we left. The entire place was clean and tidy. The staff takes a lot of pride in the hotel. The beach was great and we were able to collect a lot of sea glass. We had an ocean front room and we loved having a cup of coffee on the deck each morning. The breakfast was amazing as well as our beautifully presented meals. Complimentary afternoon tea very popular and a complimentary speedboat ride daily. The location is absolutely stunning and fabulous, and only a short walk into Speightstown. The best part of Cobblers though is the people. We had a wonderful stay at Cobblers Cove and we'd definitely recommend.
The staff at Cobblers are amazing and the hotel is beautiful
The people make this resort and it’s totally charming. We will be back!
Caribbean hotel at is best
11 nights of quiet understated luxury. A real gem. Peaceful, relaxing and yet a real humour and warmth from all the staff. Privately owned by owners who obviously care about detail and your comfort. Thank you to all who made our stay perfect
Fantastic ambiance. Rooms are beautifully appointed - from the sitting room, wet bar and outdoor lounge area added to the glamour. Attention to details is what stands out. Location is walkable to town and great restaurants. Food and drinks were a bit pricey - so watch what you order!
Awesome and safe
Beautiful Barbadian paradise
We absolutely loved our stay, the aesthetic is gorgeous, the gardens are lush and beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, comfortable and spacious. The pool area is fantastic, comfy loungers, cold lavender face towels and sorbet handed out each afternoon, and of course the beautiful Caribbean sea to dip in any time you like. Daily afternoon tea was a lovely touch, and we very much enjoyed happy hour each evening. The food let it down slightly as there wasn't much in the way of plant-based options but there are a number of really nice places to eat within walking distance. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Excellent
Excellent value
Decor was superb. Hospitality on-point. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cobblers. The room was comfortable, the hotel is right on the beach where there is lots of snorkelling and the afternoon tea was a nice touch. The staff are all friendly, gardens lush and the complementary 30 l minute trip to see some turtles was a surprise bonus. If I’m being super picky, the service at breakfast was a little slow and the room didn’t provide slippers but these are minor points
5 stars for everything
The staff at Cobblers Cove go out of their way to make sure everyone is well looked after, feels safe and has all they need. The property is well looked after, with stunning gardens providing fragrant evening strolls to beachfront dining. The crystal clear waterfront location is fabulous and offers both the option for pool and ocean swimming as well as water sports of all types. This is a resort geared towards adults but with enough for the whole family to enjoy some much needed downtime.
Stay in the Camelot suite
We only stayed for 3 nights before moving on to private dwelling The Camelot Suite was amazing and we preferred being in the old house It was very quiet The Mile and Quarter their newest suite was not ideally positioned and felt very overlooked inside and on the terrace It was also noisy with the boat and jet skis arriving and leaving in early morning and late afternoon The food is 3-4 star and the buffets weren’t very well displayed as the birds are always on the lookout for goodies and the various dishes were under wicker covers and there was limited space at the serving point to get to the dishes Maybe some thought could be applied to the presentation The staff were extremely friendly
There were some really nice and helpful staff, but the food and beverage was seriously overpriced for what it was (poor at best) The bar ran out of liquor, and the bartender was terrible. There were fixtures falling apart in our room. Proximity to ocean and beach was nice.
Amazing gem of a hotel. Peaceful and relaxing. Excellent water sports. Stayed in the North of the island (here) for a few days before heading to the south. Wished we would have stayed in the north!
This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!
This hotel is fantastic and great value for money.
We loved our stay - our rooms were beautiful, overlooking mature well kept gardens. Food in the restaurant was excellent, much of it locally sourced. The kids learned to water ski, and loved snorkelling and turtle spotting in the bay. The service levels and attention to detail shown by all the staff was at the highest level. We had a great holiday.
Beautiful hotel right on the Caribbean Sea, an absolute rest cure for us. The interiors and the gardens are stunning, and every attention to detail is there, absolute 5* housekeeping and comfort. We chose to stay on site for our entire week, relaxing by the swimming pool, enjoying the delicious local food at breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is fine dining, yet so healthy due to the local foods and the creative chef. Afternoon tea is served in the afternoons (complimentary), and the poolside service of bar drinks and complimentary fresh fruits and sorbets is lovely. We were exhausted from a busy winter and spring and left feeling absolutely well-rested and rejuvenated. A complete balm to our busy lives. We've already booked to return next year. If you're considering this property, and you enjoy beauty, relaxation, fine dining and feeling completely healthy and serene do not hesitate. The management does a fantastic job and the staff are so friendly, they see to your every need. Highly recommended.
Property is run down but clean. It’s an older, quiet crowd if that’s the vibe you are going for. The website photos are very photoshopped- property does not look like photos on website. Food mediocre. Staff professional and beach clean. It’s a fine and safe experience but not worth the big price tag.
Paradise
Terrible…
Terrible experience we checked out after 2 nights when was booked for 5.We we’re placed in a room above a crying baby so first night was sleepless. We went to the pool the next day(no beach sunbathing facilities) and kids took over the whole pool.We couldn’t read never mind unwind just awful.Complained to the GM at 10.30 am on our second day who wouldn’t let us leave without penalty as she said she couldn’t sell our room that day.Money is more important than guests satisfaction.Would never return.
No TV in rooms ! Suppose to be a seaview room, but i forgot my machete.
Perfect in everyway.
The hotel was so serene it made our first break in a very long time even sweeter and allowed us to enjoy every moment. The staff are wonderful in every way and the design of the entire resort was immaculate, tasteful, design led and interesting while still being very comfortable. The food in the restaurant for all 3 meals of the day was faultess and the setting around the hotel was divine. I cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone.
A true jewel of a hotel. The staff are attentive, the service is excellent - with some nice touches like regular freebies handed out around the pool like iced water, fruit, sorbets and afternoon tea. The food is some of the best we've ever eaten, with a huge variety served to a very high standard - all reasonably priced too (as are the drinks). Watersports are unlimited and included. The resort is small and cosy with every detail perfected by the owners, manager and staff.
Fantastic, super friendly and with inclusive watersports, is hard to fault. Lots of repeat visitors and so it will be with us.....says it all! Well done Joanna and team.
Small and quaint. Gorgeous beach. Wonderful people, great service!
Couple stay at Cobblers Cove
This was such a incredible property. The most gorgeous hotel and rooms. The hotel offers complimentary afternoon tea daily and the breakfast is the best we have had in a long time, with a great mix of indulgent and healthy options. The rooms are very comfortable. The beach is very nice but doesn't have beach chair, this is not really an issue as the pool chairs are a few seconds away from the beach. This is perfectly located to go to all hot spots: Lonestar, Fishpot, Seashed, One Eleven east. The only bemol was the receeption which did not feel personal and felt like the reception of a motel. I think for an hotel like this, it is a shame that the reception/check-in is not more uplifting/upbeat/personal.
Exceptional!
The rooms were delightful and the hotel staff were lovely. I don't have any complaints about Cobblers Cove (and I usually have many) - would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Colonial Charm
A fabulous place to spend a few days or a few weeks. The staff were all amazing but could have done with more as they were rushed off their feet at meal times, especially dealing with different sections because of the quarantine arrangements. The bedroom curtains in our suite ‘Colleton’ were not blockout nor did they fit the windows well which meant a very early wake up each morning! But all else was fantastic and we hope to be back again soon!
A wonderful experience
We stayed for 8 nights in an ocean front suite and could not have been happier with the accommodation, with our meals taken in the Camelot restaurant and with the service and ambience offered. We were last here 6 years ago and the wide ranging improvements made to the property have refreshed the experience without detracting in any way from its unique character.
Old World Charm catering to an older clientele (although with 20s niece and nephew and they love it). Suites very comfy. Food and service good. It’s pricey in season but a very relaxing spot. I’d do it again!
Cobblers Cove is incredibly lovely and relaxing. The majority of the guests are British senior citizens but we enjoyed them. The food is fantastic. The beach is incredible. The room is lovely and comfortable. It’s a great experience and we didn’t want to leave.
Simply the best
We loved Cobblers Cove, probably the most relaxing destination we have ever stayed at. Our ocean view room was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly. Perfect.
Lovely Weekend Stay
Beautiful property with good service. The on site restaurant is very good. The bar has great cocktails. They offer a lovely complimentary afternoon tea. The property offers many complimentary water amenities like snorkeling, water skiing, and paddle boarding. The beach in front of the property has clear water and a good reef about 50 yards away. It was never an issue to get a beach chair and umbrella.
amazing
very charming! would love to come back. lovely place!
Home away from home in paradise! Location directly on fairly private beach, beauty of gardens & stryctures, impeccable & friendly service, delicious food, & fun activities!
Beautiful quiet hotel, close to Speightstown. Excellent food in the restaurant and the best rum punch.
Didn’t know they had a tv lounge and it was very old fashioned-also the on site boutique was extremely expensive and almost always closed
Great care. Delicious food. Amazing staff and a wonderful location.
Truly magical hotel, exceptional service
Cobblers Cove is a truly magical hotel on the North West Coast of Barbados. The level of service is exceptional. Visitors are treated as welcome guests to the beautifully situated and presented hotel. Suites are well appointed and clean. The spot, just outside Speightstown is directly on the beach, overlooking the Caribbean. The house and gardens are wonderful and Cobblers Cove is a luxury experience not to be missed.
A beautiful hotel with a stunning beach, and cosy rooms. The food is good but I give it 3/5 as it is still lacking that sophisticated touch.
