This hotel fell extremely short of even basic expectations. The rooms and furnishings are very run-down. There is mold on the curtains, screens in the kitchen etc. The carpets in the bedrooms are grossly matted down, very worn out. Couches and chairs were dirty and stained. The bathrooms were also needing attention - so much build up on the showers and the shelves in the showeres. BUT, what made it wordse was the fact that there were around 6 or 7 roaches that we had to kill throughout both bedrooms and bathrooms. It was so disgusting we couldnt sleep for the night. We all sat in the living room and checked out first thing in the morning. We have messaged about getting a refund for the unused night, but didnt hear anything. The girl when we checked out didnt seem surprised by the pest issue, so im sure this is a common problem. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The property is very nice and the view from the room is amazing. Staff are very helpful and professional. The restaurant is also very good. There is a shuttle bus to take guests to and from the main area in Airlie beach which is very convenient. We would stay here again.

Shuttle buses not very frequent ended up using uber, no flexibility with checkout times, some staff are rude

Excellent staff and pool

The hotel was at the top of a very steep hill, our transport from the airport could not get up the hill so the driver called the hotel to collect us and our cases, that never happened and we ended up walking up the hill with our cases. The room was a none serviced apartment with breakfast included but we had to pay for coffees.

Lovely rooms, nice and spacious. Breaky was lovely and pools were nice.....thats where the compliments end. Got there and after a huge day of travelling checked in, walked up the huge hill to our room and the key didnt work. Proceeded to wait for 15mins at the room door until someone came with working door cards. Walked into our room and the t.v remote wasnt working for one tv and the other was completely disconnected. Maintance man came and fixed it which was very kind and prompt. Then put a load of washing on and put in dryer then the dryer blew a fuse and didnt work..... The sheets had little red stains on it which looked like blood stains. Also our room although the view was unbelievable it was located right next to a buzzing spot for bees to hang out so the use of the deck was non existent...... I brought all these issues up upon checking out and although the lady was lovely and apologetic...there wasnt much she could do.....seemed to be the going answer for problems was how sorry everyone was. For what you pay you kind of expect a little more. Hence my rating of 3 stars....

The view was very nice! The unit we were in needs new painting. Sofa needs replacement. Bathroom needs to be upgraded.

There was a cockroach infestation and mould issue in the room. We looked past the mould on the sofa and tables, etc, but on the last night of our stay there was a number of roaches in the bathroom and main bedroom. Reception were not bothered when this was mentioned and ill be honest it was such a shame, because the rest of the time they were really friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, the room had all the amenities we needed. It was a 10 minute walk to town. Breakfast was really tasty, etc.

Beautiful view of Airlie and the ocean. Very accommodating staff, refreshing facilities and decent restaurant.

Our room was lovely and clean, great size 3 bedroom apartment with a huge balcony with amazing views. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Free activities for kids to do daily. Free shuttle buses into town. Walking distance into town but uphill. Free yoga on the weekend. Very family friendly- we will definitely be back.

Overall was good the only thing was not good when we were driving up the driveway and the buggies were parked at reception It was hard to see the buggies as driving up and it was very dangerous

Excellent. Too bad Expedia managed to send an obsolete message from the resort suggesting there would be construction and noise. There was not so maybe Expedia should apologize to the resort

Great property with views across Airlie beach. Big hill up to the property so we used taxis to get home but walked down the hill no problem. Overall facilities are good. Room was clean but a bit tired.

Great view from rooms and pool. Big room and balcony. Furniture in the room could use some reupholstering, and quality of the dinner at the restaurant could be improved.

View from the property is good. Shuttle bus to the town needs to be more frequent.

The staff were helpful and cheerful. I liked this place a lot because it had a restaurant and bar next to the pool, which made it fun and sociable for us.

Beautiful property and good location. Staff is absolutely wonderful. My only complaint would be the units are in need of some updates. It is very clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would go back.

Outstanding location, stunning view, very well equipped, comfortable and great value

On Monday 7/10/2024, which was the last night of our stay at the hotel, we went to the reception to book a taxi to airport for tomorrow morning and to make a reservation for breakfast as well (all of us in age of 60 and above) but the lady who was at reception that night with short black hair was talking loudly and roudly with his boyfriend or... on the phone since we arrived and we waited in front of her for 45 minutes but she ignored us with irresponsibility and rude behavior and didn't even ask us what's going on!she didn't cut the phone or putting that on hold.I'm very sorry because of such a situation that I haven't had it in any trip so far and I believe that the hotel staff's polite behavior with customers is the biggest reson for choosing and visiting the hotel again.I hope to improve your work tack care of these important things.

A fantastic location with excellent facilities and friendly staff. We had one night where there was noise very early in the morning with a neighboring apartment, but management did respond to it quickly to shut it down.

Amazing

3bed and 3 bath was great as we travelled as a family group with older teenagers and young adults. View was ok from our balcony although partially obscured by building in front. The steep hill is a killer and the courtesy bus drop off to bottom of hill doesn’t run often enough. 3hr gap in the middle of the day is horrible. Would consider paying extra for accommodation so we didn’t have to hill to worry about.

The view is nice, breakfast and dinner good, the room is comfy, has nice view, big room, has kitchen and laundry in the room. The only missing thing is slippers in the room. Nice pool, great view, I would recommend to everybody , dont hesitate.

A beautiful apartment overlooking Airlie Beach. Spacious and well presented. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Room service was excellent.

Unique property for its views, Liked the plunger coffee - I often see it present in Airlie Beach accommodations, resort is great for fitness, but also for families, but most people appear to be welcome, can't wait to stay again!

Beautiful resort with the most friendly staff.

Great place to stay with spectacular views. The infinity pool and spa are fantastic, as is the restaurant. But what really makes the place is the staff, friendly, helpful and from all over the world. What a pleasure it was to chat to them. My only criticism is the small gymnasium which you'd expect to be better for a resort of this standard. My partner enjoyed the Pilates and yoga, and we had breakfast and several dinners there.

Like other reviewers, more shuttle runs would make this off-center location more convenient. Hourly would be great. Besides not-so-convenient, room furnishings need refresh as they’re really old in our room. Breakfasts are decent and included in our room rates. Pool is small and not heated. Overall, decent for the price

Staff were very welcoming and check in was quick and easy. View from the room was magnificent and room was very spacious and clean. We had breakfast included, and on one of our early morning starts when we didn't have time to sit and eat, Helen from the restaurant staff went out of her way to have chef make us a breakfast 'to-go'. The courtesy shuttle to and from is super convenient, however, it is a trek up the stairs from Airlie should you need to get back to the hotel out of scheduled operating times. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. There’s a shuttle to town as the hotel is on a steep hill. Good parking too if u have a car. Great pool area and our room was perfect!!

Huge Hill you need to Climb

Not the best location. Hard to walk to the center and back, given the hill. Not great at answering phones. Shuttle service is VERY limited. I would recommend Arlie Beach Hotel over this one - way more central and way better shuttle service. Breakfast was good at this hotel.

Amazing place! Beautiful views, nice pool and friendly staff

Very nice suite with full kitchen including French press. Kids enjoyed the pool, breakfasts were very good. Having a gym was great though a bit small and wifi didn’t work well in gym area. Overall would highly recommend.

We stayed at Club Wyndham for our holiday to Whitsundays and around Airlie, the resort was well maintained and had a great vantage point view that looked over the marinas. However, housekeeping will need more attention. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was spacious enough for all of us to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked, better than we expected. For a such a long stay we were grateful to have the washing machine and drying racks.

Brilliant property, excellent staff and the views WOW! Cannot rate this place highly enough 5 stars just isn't enough! Definitely would recommend this place and we will be back. A big thank you to everyone for making our stay reaxing and truely perfect....

Room was large enough for 6. Views were awesome, close walk to Airlie Beach. A little hilly but manageable, a courtesy bus is also available during the day.

Superb hotel with spectacular views

Superb resort, perfect location, spectacular views from our balcony (322), excellent service and food at the restaurant. Staff is friendly. We stayed there 3 nights during the school break and had an issue with a group of youngsters partying on their balcony next to ours. Filed a complaint and security to care of it quickly. Nice pool, large parking areas. Will definitely return.

Nice rooms, beautiful views and good breakfast options. The only downside was it's not very walkable to the main street due to the hills and the shuttle bus doesnt run all too often.

Views from room was awesome

Very hilly, young receptionist debited our credit card for the stay without asking if we have already paid which we had 4 months earlier a week later still waiting for pending transaction to be credited back very frustrating

Not a 41/2 stars hotel. Room is spacious but furniture is outdated. No cleaning service if you stay less than 8 days. WiFi not good. Breakfast was good but you have to pay for extras, like coffee. Food at on-site restaurant was good. I wouldn’t stay there again if I go back to Airlie beach.

The Wyndam Resort engaged very happy and helpfull staff who went out of their way to make our week stay awesome. The rooms were beautifully equipped and clean., the pool was great after a walk or just to relax around The reception staff were a c delight and so helpfull. Thankyou to ALL the staff for making a fun 11th yr wedding anniversary worth remembering ❤️

I want to thank all Club Wyndham Staff for a wonderful stay. I travelled with a special needs group. For most of them it was their first time away from home and their parents. Even though the lifts, tv and wifi weren't working. The staff went out of their way to cater for my group and we are all grateful. Thankyou.

The stay at Wyndham was enjoyable. Value for money. Only criticism is when we checked out. Waited 10 minutes at the office for service. Left as we needed to meet a tour.

Wonderful Getaway

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation had everything we needed and amazing views.

For a family of 5, the accommodation was spacious. The views were glorious. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, others were difficult to communicate with. The hotel will be undergoing renovations, i cant wait to visit again once they are complete.

The property was easy access to Port of Airlie, and also the local CBD area. Very happy with the location, and the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom was excellent. Beautiful and quiet resort in the middle of nature, with spectacular views, will look to return soon.

It's worn out, it's dirty. I mean some of the wardrobes were broken. Only good thing about club Wyndham is their staff. What a beautiful bunch and very hospitable. Specially David is just an angel. Dining is limited and from 80's. Breakfast is nightmare and worst coffee ever. I like the shuttle but then again very limited option. I am so disappointed with this booking our holidays are kind of ruined. That swimming pool is not huge as it shows in pics. No amenities nothing for kids just some old games. What a bad place to stay even after paying this much money

We read the on line reviews before going which left us feeling somewhat anxious about the hilly terrain and the condition of the rooms. Although our room had some old fittings such as the kitchen, furniture was new and the general presentation was first rate. The hilly terrain was catered for by staff only too willing to take you to your building's lift by electric buggy. The resort also provides a free courtesy bus service into town 3 times a day. buggies zooming around the resort always

2nd time staying here and we absolutely love the rooms and view, great friendly staff also

perfect stay

Beautiful views from our room. Facilities such as the pool and dining were easy to access and great to use. We swapped rooms TWICE though, because of broken aircons in the apartments and one of the apartments had rubbish lying behind open doors eg used beer bottles and jewellery scattered on the carpet. The staff were very quick and helpful in changing us to suitable rooms though.

Room requested in advance was not prepared. Balcony door lock broken so felt insecure and lift broken throughout entire stay. Were not made aware of inaccessibility of rooms and hotel complex. Curtains dirty

This is a beautiful property, I felt so lucky to stay here and make home for a few days. Comfy beds, very roomy, beautiful furnishings and views. Friendly helpful staff members, delicious breakfast and the pool/ spa was really cool too. The hotel grounds are beautifully manicured.

This hotel is fantastic, the views are amazing. Great for families.

This property was perfect for us group of girls for a week away. Although the location was a bit too distant from local shops, main street and beach, it was still worth the view at the end. Taxi’s are about $15 return as everything is so close by. Breakfast was wonderful, the apartment was way bigger than expected and staff were super friendly. Highly recommend

Everything was perfect! Staff is awesome, very nice people work there! We spent a great time! Helen and her friend were really nice to our kids and show them how they rescue wallabys, our kids were really impressed! Definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely loved the whole experience

Amazing place to stay! I have stayed here twice now and will not choose anywhere else to stay than here every time we come to Airlie. Staff were lovely, food was delicious; there was not a fault ☺️

Amazing views, huge rooms, clean, modern

The room was dark, dirty & dated. The couches were filthy. We all had filthy feet after walking on the tiles, the bathroom stunk of mould, the a/c units clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. Mould in the shower, no flywire on the bedroom windows whereas we walked by units that had flywire. Annoying to have mozzies in the room every time we wanted fresh air. The food - TERRIBLE. Room service - 2 kids bolognaise & 2 chickpea curries. The kids meals were a stodgy mess and super tiny portions. The curries were RIDICULOUSLY small portions and ABSOLUTELY flavourless. It was a joke and way too expensive for what it was. When booking we paid $20 extra per person per day for breakfast. Breakfast meals off the menu were so stingy on portion size it was a joke. When we mentioned this to one member of staff & by their response we could tell that this is a common complaint. Vegetarian breakfast - ONE mushroom, a portion of baked beans less than one tablespoon (to replace the eggs). The smallest slices of toast imaginable. A TINY portion of avocado. This was disgraceful. Being such a unique location, you do rely on the shuttle service to get in & out of town, especially with kids. We were extremely disappointed to discover the decreased frequency of shuttles. Just another challenge to deal with trying to make the days work. The staff were lovely, friendly & helpful. This was the only shining light from our visit. This review should be a reflection on management, not staff.
