Odd behavior

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. My favorite part was the restaurant and bar. The bar tender was super sweet and even brought my daughter out ice cream with a candle for her birthday and we didn’t even ask. That was so nice of him. The drinks and food were so good! We had a great stay. The only thing that was weird to us was what we thought was the maintenance man painting the building in front of our room at 10pm.

One of the best properties I've stayed at. Everything is updated and in excellent condition. The room was sanitized and clean. The garden area is beautiful, pool is large and well kept.Checking in was easy and everyone we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. A great place to stay and would definitely come back.

Not too much they let homeless or long stays there. The place was filthy. There was a toilet brush outside my door. When I complained they just wanted to move my room. When I checked out the brush was still there. Don’t stay there

Our hotel room was clean comfortable and staff was accommodating. Check in and check out was easy. They had a lot of things to offer. I liked the Hot Tub the best.

Not what I expected

The pictures didn't show that this is an motel-style facility with all outside doors. I would not have picked it knowing this. It's location was easily accessible to what I needed, but it's right next to I-4. The road noise didn't bother me but may affect others. The Wi-Fi was allowed for basic needs but didn't allow me to do the work I needed. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Rooms in good condition

The property photos highlight the lobby which is nice. The room however was dingy, dark with limited amenities. The front door (which does not close properly) leads directly outside and at midnight the sprinklers go off so loudly that it sounded like someone was taking a shower. They must know that this is the case! We got this room as it looked so much better online and had two rooms which is listed as a suite. The poorly stocked gym with broken and dilapidated equipment apparently does not open until 8am even though the signage states 0600. When I arrived at 0700 to workout everything was locked and when I asked the front desk she said she think is it opens at am8 and she saw someone go in at 8 the day before. At 8 I came back to the gym, still locked, the maintenance man had to open it as the doors are broken. The fridge is tiny and fits nothing. No microwave in the room. I felt like a giant in the shower as it was so small and I am short. The tub was also stained dirty and I know this as I bought tub cleaner to try to clean it and could not. The drain wouldn’t drain so we had to call maintenance to come to clear it and a huge disgusting hair ball was removed and he put it in the trash in our room and left. We stayed 5 nights and asked to have the room cleaned on day 3, 2 beds were made out of 3, towels were placed but no washcloths and no toilet paper. The only good thing is free parking and close to the parks. I won’t be staying here again.

Everyone was very friendly

This was a small, older property that reduced housekeeping to every 3 days. Our 2 night stay had no fresh towels, toiletries not removal of trash. Even though close to Universal and fairly central, the location was next to a noisy highway and all sounds including barking dog permeated the walls. The lighting and availability of charging outlets were limited.

Nice place

It was a clean and convenient hotel. However, the bathroom doorknow was not working well nor the heater when We arrived. Overall a good stay.

My room was never cleaned up after we went to the parks and visited my father and grandfather to my daughter, sheets was never changed and towels were never changed. Rug /floor was never cleaned bathroom was never cleaned

Very clean they were so friendly and like 2 minutes from Disney I really enjoyed my stay.

Staff was excellent, pool and hot tub were very refreshing after the parks. I would stay there again

OK STAY

STAYED IN A SUITE. NO VENTALATION IN THE EXTRA ROOM, CEILING FAN WAS ALSO BROKEN. ACCOMIDATIONS ADEQUATE. FLOOR COULD USE A GOOD MOPPING. ROOM SEMI UPDATED.

Property is a clean(overall) well maintained older property, close to the universal area. You could walk if fit and wanted too, property offers a shuttle bus to universal. If you have a car parking is free which was good and access to the main roads is very handy. The hotel done what we needed a clean bed for the night, parking and location was good as we were travelling about. Overall done what we needed.We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the location and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel was also very convenient. The 2 things we didn’t like was that we had a very loud air conditioner that woke us up all night when it turned on and the shower was lukewarm at best.

Staff was helpful and friendly but property was rundown. Room smelled musty/moldy. AC/Heating unit needed to be cleaned. Issues with equipment in workout room.

Convenient location

The room could have been a little cleaner but the staff was super nice, parking was free and very easily accessible.

When we got into the room, there was a machine that was supposed to clean the air, but it was affecting our breathing. We had to turn the machine off and leave the room, and we went to the store to buy some Lysol air freshener to spray around the room to get rid of the smell so we could sleep there.

This hotel is good but wouldn’t book again. There was no microwave in room and pillows were like tiny toddler pillows.

Fair price for the accommodations. Located close to many shops, restaurants and attractions. Rooms weren’t the cleanest but linens did smell like bleach… which I appreciated. The drains would emit sewage stench. Suites that sleep 5 should be equipped with enough supplies for 5 people. Eg. Shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and towels. Staff was friendly and prompt when you did request extra supplies. Pool area would run out of towels daily, but the pool area was a nice place to spend time. Would have liked to have a place to sit and relax in the room other than on the beds. (Couch was a bed for us)…. No chairs. Shuttle to Universal was appreciated however upon checkin we were told you no longer need to make a reservation but the bus driver asked for reservations. We were still allowed on the bus but maybe make a reservation to be on the safe side. Plenty of free parking by your room. A/c cooled but didn’t help with humidity. Minor inconveniences were very little counter space for toiletries, no hook in the bathroom for clothes. A broken hinge on the bathroom door, that made it difficult to close. No place to hang up wet bathing suits. Gift shop was convenient and fairly priced.

No elevator!!!!!! No place to get a snack and vending. Crap hotel!

We stayed one night for a concert at Hard Rock. Very close to Universal and Millennial Mall. Clean and quiet. Will stay again.

Surprisingly clean, well kept and cozy. Didn't expect that for the great price and closeness to theme parks

The property was run down, the rooms were gross, and the area was seedy at best. The sheets were nice enough and the bed was fine.

Nice place

We went to Orlando Florida to go to Universal for 4 days. This hotel is not a hotel for people to stay and enjoy themselves. Its a hotel to put your head down and then go somewhere else for the day. The staff here are great but the rooms have stains on the walls and stains above the windows. Myself and my partner didnt feel the greatest about the hotel room altogether. Granted we did get the two queen 1 bath room for 76$ a night. (Definitely not the top of the line room) Additionally, the hotel cannot control the noisy streets around the hotel and that is something my partner and I understand. Firetrucks and ambulances seem to go by the hotel on a nightly baisis. Our room was by the shuttle pick up and drop off for Universal and we could here everybodys conversation who were waiting or getting off of the buss from the second story. Now that we have the bad out of the way, it should be noted this hotel does have a shuttle that picks people up in the morning 3 times and drop people off 3 times at night to go to and from Universal. This was a huge plus as the hotel may not be that great but, it is however close enough to Universal for this ease of travel. The hotel does have a hot tub and a pool. My partner and I used the hot tub two out of the 4 nights but never used the pool. All in all, out of the area there are better hotels to go to. But if you were in our situation where you are not 21 and therefore cannot get a Universal hotel this is a decent alternative.

The pictures on the website can be misleading. The place felt more like a motel than a hotel. It took at least 10 minutes for hot water to reach the room—I'm guessing it came from across the street. The door to the outside had a large gap at the bottom, so I had to put a towel there to keep the air in and the bugs out. I stayed in January when the outside temperature was near freezing, so the bugs weren't much of an issue. On a positive note, the bed, towels, and shower were all clean.

We were very happy with the accomodations, just wished tgere was a microwave in the room, as that became an issue when we wanted a warm snack and the fitness center was closed.

The worst part is we had only sheer curtains. The light from outside was quite bright in our room all night. Also with being on the first floor everyone walking by could clearly see my daughters and I sleeping. It felt creepy. Everytime I went to the front desk there was no one there.

This is a nice quiet hotel with great food, nice outdoor areas, and a great staff in a nice location. The international outlet mall is only a 5 minute walk and even though they provide free theme park transportation the theme parks are only a 30 minute walk through a scenic area. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and will continue to stay here anytime we are in the Orlando area.

It was very convenient. Close to all parks and appropriate for the intended visits. Rooms were clean and the outside surroundings. Pet friendly. Loved it!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP

This place has got to be one of THE WORST places to stay. The filth that is in these rooms is years old, this entire.place should be demolished and rebuilt to human standards. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!

Great

Staying at this hotel, the staff was friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. The staff provided helpful tips and resources towards finding my room. Shortly Afterwards, I checked out my room, and the room was very big, spacious and very clean. My stay at this hotel was great but this was my first choice hotel that doesn't provided free complimentary breakfast, although they do have a fine dinning restaurant and breakfast cafe. I was a little sad, but the hotel, clean and very reasonable priced. 9/10

Location and Access

This hotel is about location - close to universals and it offers the basics for sure. Obviously an older hotel but they are doing their best to keeping looking fresh and clean. The door to the room could use some help but otherwise it is what you expect from a motel - outdoor hall and an AC unit plugged in below the window. If your looking for easy access to Universal Studios or International Boulevard this place is right between the two.

The shuttle to Universal was quick and easy. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was a bit like a motel though (the pictures looked so glamorous haha). And I could hear my neighbors televisions. But I wasn’t staying at the hotel for the hotel aspect. I just needed a cheap place to sleep and shower after a day of fun. And Clarion checked those boxes!

Ok enough. You get what you pay for here. Rooms were clean enough for a motel, but dirtier than I had hoped—toothpaste stains around the sink, a dead bug in the bathroom, some smudges on the walls. Sheets and towels were clean. Had to switch rooms because the heat wasn’t working in ours (45d in Orlando). Rooms faced the highway. Very loud all night.

I enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of walking through nearby universal studios. This hotelnis walking distance from universal, but also offers a complimentary shuttle. Staff were friendly.

Great location located near pretty much everything

I frequently visit Orlando and am always looking for budget friendly hotels, that don’t feel budget friendly. This hotel looks like it was totally remodeled, and they did a good job! It’s great for the price. Quiet, close to the theme parks, and incredibly worth the price! Will definitely stay again!

Great place that's inexpensive for short or long stays. The customer service is amazing and readily answers any questions you may have. The rooms were clean, but, of course, it's not a five-star hotel, so don't expect everything to be spotless. You get what you pay for. The location is fantastic, as Universal Orlando Park is just a stone's throw away—only a five-minute drive or a 15-minute walk! This motel is also a partner motel, offering scheduled shuttles to the parks. The on-site café is excellent, and there’s also a pool, an Indian restaurant, and a small shop in the lobby area.

This was a last minute trip to Orlando for the Citrus Bowl and a day at Universal. The hotel was perfect for us. Comfortable, easy to get to, and nice staff. Loved the free shuttle to Universal.

Good choice, walking distance from the outlets

It is not a hotel, it’s a motel. It is simple but very nice. I didn’t like that they charge extra to use the safe which I consider is needed because I didn’t see any cameras around the property and being a motel you can get inside easily from the street without anyone noticing. The other issue I found odd is that the housekeeping service for the room is every third day and you have to request it at the front desk one day before around noon; the thing with this is that, for starters, you have to remember which day to request it and then be there at the requested lapse of time to schedule it. I stayed 5 night and cleaning didn’t happen…not a big issue for me but surely not used to it. Apart from these it is a good choice and would definitely return.

If possible, it would be great if the bottom bed frames could be rounded off. Left with a few bruises.

Overall our stay was fine. We were in the separate building from the main hotel and it was extremely loud. Felt like the walls were paper thin. Beds were not comfortable either. The staff was good and hotel was clean but do not recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot.

Terrible cheap over glorified motel

Terrible rooms. This place is over glorified cheap motel with rude front desk people. I am disappointed with hotels dot com reviews. They are not true. Even if you spend some extra money goto a near by better hotels. The rooms are like match boxes. Shame

Our stay here was extremely uncomfortable. Our room was less than desirable. Everything felt damp. Then, there’s this smell in the room that almost leaned towards there bing mold somewhere. In the bathroom, we found a dead roach behind the toilet. We stayed out of the room as long as possible our entire because of the conditions.

Bed wasn't comfortable, a/c unit controls didn't work properly and unit made too much noise. Bathtub was extremely slippery and there are no grab bars or any safety features. Parking lot was very narrow with poor signage and two way traffic forces you to stop and pull over to let other vehicle pass before proceeding

The staff was super friendly open arrival. The room was clean and ready to go. We walked to Universal each day, but there is a shuttle. The free parking at the hotel is a huge plus. They have a little place to eat and get water. I would highly recommend staying here. I gave it a good overall instead of excellent because the walls are thin and if you have loud neighbors, you hear everything.

Property was not safe. My first day there was not a good experience. Faucet in my bathroom were broken. there was also a bad sewer smell in the room.

Overall I have no complaints about the staff. The concern i had in this area was staff members not able to converse in English. To me it seems a necessity for all hotel staff to be able to converse somewhat in the country's language. My second problem was a missing room item. Namely a shower curtain. Granted one was brought to us once it was discovered but how can something like this be overlooked by housekeeping and their supervisor. My third problem was an extra cup of coffee. You pay almost $3 for a cup of coffee with no refills. With hotel staff stopping by for a free cup, it's possible the profit margin wouldn't allow the extra cup (yes, i did try the coffee in the room. It was vile). I do give kudos on the free parking and the overall room price. Considering the location near Universal Studios, they were both a very pleasant surprise. However do be aware if you're traveling with a pet, the pet charge is a daily fee and not a one time fee.
