Comfy Stay

Place was very clean and in a very nice and safe area. Only concern was the sink didn't seem big enough for say face washing. Room was comfy and they had room service.

The washroom was on the small side. We basically had to shut the door in order to brush your teeth.

The area around the hotel is great

Nice neighborhood, close to both of the best malls in São Paulo. Walking distance to parque do povo great for a good walk, jog and workout.

Lovely hotel in an excellent neighborhood

The room was very spacious, and the bed is comfortable with quality linens. The terraces offer a nice view. Friendly and helpful staff. The surrounding neighborhood is excellent, full of upscale restaurants and bars, but not too noisy or crowded. The only issue was some broken fixtures in the room, but the staff was quick to notice and repair. I would return and recommend.

Excellent location

Best location in São Paulo, kind staff and very good breakfast. Walls are very thin so I could hear everything the neighbours were doing and any door being closed.

Helpful staff, clean & great location !

I was surprised (pleasantly) to discover a washing machine in my room. I was disappointed at the few people who spoke reasonable English.

Its my second time staying at the hotel. It is a great location for business and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff and the breakfast is very good. Always taxis outside and the prices are pretty cheap. Will definitely stay there next time and its good value for money........

Great hotel in the Itaim Bibi area

My wife and I stayed 4 nights. Main purpose was convention in town but had to balance that with some couple time. Staff was friendly and spoke enough English to be very helpful. Room was smaller than US standard but clean. Only wish there had been some drawers to unpack a little. Neighborhood felt safe and was convenient to a lot of places we wanted to go. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location but...

The location of this hotel is great. The breakfast is very good. Most of their staff is very friendly and welcoming. However, they have significant issues; some of which are solvable and some aren't: 1. Bathrooms. Too small and constrained. Plumbing and drainage appears to be a prevalent problem. 2. Rooms. Decent for the price. 3. Furnishings: Sub standard. Bed linens substandard as well. 4. Comfort. Biggest problem is the mattress protector they use (they don't use a typical mattress pad). Their protector is a mattress case made out of rough canvas with a plastic casing. With their "paper-thin" polyester linens, this makes it for a very uncomfortable sleep. Also, you will sweat all night because your sleeping over plastic that does not allow for breathing/ventilation. You will sweat regardless of the room temperature. The last two nights (out of 5) we figured out the problem and removed the case. Those nights we were able to sleep better as we did not sweat profusely. Additionally, the mattress is not comfortable at all. 5. Maintenance. Has significant issues, such as AC's not working properly or not working at all, lighting, furnishings, TV's, etc.

Nice hotel

Receptionist was friendly, helpful and pleasant. They let us to late Check out till 3pm without additional charges. Breakfast was good

Better than expected!!

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The area is great... it's calm, safe and full of restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean, spacious and well-decorated. The only weird thing is that a bucket of ice there costs 12/15 reais...

Don't bother unless you speak Portuguese

The Hotel staff are ok, the rooms are ok but unless you speak Portuguese don't stay here. I needed a late checkout to cover the gap between leaving and my flight out of San Paulo. The internet stopped at 11 and it took 3 calls and a technician for them to understand I just needed an extension. Then it quit at 2 pm so I gave up and finished my work at the airport. Not ideal. Would I stay here again... no way no how.

Excellent business location with good comfort

Top quality in every way except for breakfast which was standard but could be better. Attentive front desk. Comfortable room. Better than Intercontinental.

We loved our stay here..

Originally we planned to stay here for one night while passing through Sao Paulo but the rooms and service were so good that we ended up staying another. All the staff were so nice, the showers are amazing, the breakfast delicious and best of all is an employee called Carla who went out of her way to help us from the moment we arrived. She is reason alone to stay in the Clarion.

My favorite neighborhood convenient location

Love this neighborhood, hotel is well situated for shops, restaurants and. Business district. The hotel is nice and good service, however the one thing I didn't enjoy in my room is the fact that the bed is just besides the bathroom, quite uncomfortable, the hotel/room is clean and all but that detail is not optimal.

Excellent location

For business travel or pleasure, the Clarion was a great choice. The employees were very helpfule getting oriented and would recommend this hotel.

5th time return

I always stop at this hotel, it has decent and free WIFI, is in a great area, and the staff look after you. A little cheeky is the photos as i has thought they had upgraded the rooms since my last stay - this is not the case as the pictures are of some business appartments they have on site. The rooms are nice, but not per the pics. I will return here again.

Close to financial business and to restaurants

Excellent location. Very helpful staff. Gym and pool are small, but more than compensated by the attention and convenience of hotel location.

Great hotel in a very nice area

The hotel was really nice for a fairly reasonable rate. It is in the Itaim Bibi area which is a very nice part of Sao Paulo with lots of restaurants in walking distance. It is also within a 20 minute walk from the big park. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. It is about a R25 cab ride from Vila Madalena which is an area with good night life and about R125 cab ride from the airport.

Stay away from this hotel!

The young people in the reception was not able to smile,and it looked like they hated their job!.I had a receipt showing i had already payed for the hotel,but by check-out they said to me i had NOT payed.And then i had to pay once more for a hotel-stay i had already payed for!The receipt was not good enough for them,and the lady said something like;"116 Real???.Its not that cheap to stay here.She was not able to understand that the receipt said £116!.The room was ok,but smaal.The toilet was not working,neither the airconditioning!.The breakfast was bad,and it was not possible to sleep because of the trafiss-noise.And my room was at the 16.th.floor!.

Limpeza do banheiro deixou muito a desejar! Barulho nas horas de descanso,

Hotel básico. Travesseiros muito moles, a cama é boa e o chuveiro é bom. Localização excelente, perto de ótimos restaurantes. O café da manhã é fraco. Todos os dias encontramos muita casca de ovo nos ovos mexidos. E todos os dias pela manhã, fazia um barulho muito alto, aparentemente vindo do banheiro, que era impossível continuar dormindo. Pelo valor cobrado, existem outras opções melhores na região.

Funcionários atenciosos e prestativos, além de serem muito educados. O ponto fraco é que havia uma toalha de banho e uma toalha de rosto com pelos humanos!

Otimo hotel

Em um geral o Hotel é excelente, bem localizado, bom atendimento, o quarto é confortavel, o chuveiro é otimo, o café da manhã é maravilhoso, a unica coisa que não é legal é a pia do banheiro que é minuscula, parece uma pia de casa de bonecas.

Faltam informações sobre taxas no site. O que foi uma decepção. O quarto tem um ótimo tamanho, mas o banheiro é pequeno. Cama confortável. O café da manhã é bom. A localização é ótima!!

Fui colocado num quarto onde os dois ao lado estavam fazendo reforma. Foi um barulho absurdo. Liguei para recepção e apenas foi feita a mudança de quarto após o segundo dia de viagem. Não recomendo.

Hotellet funkar ok. Det är bra frukost och ligger i bra område med flera restauranger och barer. Området känns säkert och tryggt. Negativt är att det är väldigt lyhört på rummen, man hör smällar i dörrar, ljud i korridoren och även när grannen dushar. Störande med jetlag... Poolen kunde absolut uppdaterats.

Excelente cafe da manha, quarto com sacada, porem com sinais do tempo. Pegamos um quarto com marcas de ferro no recamier, papel de parede soltando, chuveiro que não funcionou e precisou ser trocado alem de um secador de cabelo que só funcionava quando queria. O maior problema foi como o staff não soube lidar com isso. No caso do chuveiro solicitei troca de quarto e fui informado que não havia, o que e compreensível. Aceitei a ida da manutenção, no entanto o secador, ao invés de se desculpar pelo problema estavam preocupados em avisar que o secador reserva tinha que ser devolvido no checkout. Ou seja pouco importa o que o hospede esta passando em ter que acionar por duas vezes a recepção por conta de itens básicos do quarto. No mais conforto medio pra cama. Academia bem equipada. Ponto forte cafe da manhã .

O Staff atencioso, mas o Hotel está muito Velho! Quarto sem tomadas acessíveis , a parte hidráulica muito precária ! O hotel tem um péssimo custo benefício! No entorno do Clarion tem hotéis superiores com tarifas menores! O melhor exemplo do que estou falando é o Transamerica Faria Lima !

Ótima localização, funcionários atenciosos, café da manhã básico mas atende. Banheiro do quarto muito pequeno mas cama boa. Achei absurdo n me estenderem 1h da diária, acho q n custava nada pq eu estava com um bebê dormindo no quarto e eles agiram c descaso! Tive q acordar a criança p sair. Absurdo.
