Very good stay at Citrus Mahabaleshwar.
Hotel was very clean. Some maintenance and lighting improvement in room needed but overall trip was very good. Staff is excellent.
Old property not at all maintained.
Very good property and staff was very courteous and always ready to help. Oh I come again I will only stay at citrus chambers. Thanks for everything
Excellent stay!
Lovely and comfortable stay here. The location is great and it is very nice to be in such beautiful green surroundings. The service was excellent and with a smile- the staff catered to all our little needs. Breakfast was exceptional too. Would highly recommend and will stay here again.
Nice Property, quiet and serene.
Had been to other citrus hotels before. This one also was good enough. However the swimming pool at Goa property was way cleaner and better maintained. Also since it was off season, the lunch and dinner buffet options were not available. The La Carte was expensive and wasn't particularly great. But when we complained about taste of quality of dish, they were quick to take it back and give us something as complimentary or wave off the charges for the dish, which was good. Overall, it was a nice experience, would love to visit again.
Splendid Short Break
Our short stay at Citrus Chambers was amazing. The rooms of hotel are top notch room amenities are comparable with international hotels. The breakfast spread is good. The pool and game room are a bit small but good enough to enjoy. The place is very close to the market still very quiet. Overall excellent hotel.
Great quaint hotel with a cozy feel
Room readiness was delayed but the staff made me comfortable with tea and comped the days lunch and dinner :-)

MY STAY AT CITRUS CHAMBERS
A tattering place. Best avoided. We were given a room next to the litchen. There was also lot of noise of civil construction. On my complaint the front office offered to shift me to a basic room which was hardly adequate for 2 persons. It was only when I rang up SPG(I am a member) for an accommodation at Le meridien that the front office offered to upgrade to a suite. Here too the refrigerator was full with frozen water which gushed out and made a wet floor. The dining area and the food too was pedestrian more like a canteen. This location is best avoided. The only ++ was very co-operative staff. But you don"t select an accomodation based on the courtesies of the staff. My views could be bit biased because I moved in here after 2 days at Le Meridien. The rates at both these hotels were the same.
Comfortable but overprised.
Although the hotel is clean comfortable but with regards to the money spent, the property and facilities are below the standard of 4 star hotel. Plenty of good options available at this price point.
Very good for weekend stay with family
It was an excellent stay with family and friend. It is located near to market and a heritage hotel. Rooms are very specious and very cozy for family stay.
Nice hotel close to the nature as well as market
Very pleased with the hotel. Hotel Staff was very friendly.
Smelly room
The room had a musty, damp smell which refused to go away even after airing it. The staff refused to change our room and claimed that they were sold out, even though the hotel looked rather empty. There was a lot of noise because a new roof was being installed. Overall, not worth the money spent - too expensive for the condition of the hotel.
Citrus Chambers Mahabaleshwar in the rains
Very nice hotel. Suit room was excellent and was with a Jacuzzi. Food options in buffet and a-la-carte were pretty large; food quality was OK. Very close to the market but peaceful surrounding. Weather was misty through the day and night and was heavenly. Online booking done through Expedia was not reflecting in the hotel's reservation system. Luckily rooms were available or could have been a problemr. Otherwise a wonderful experience.
Meals
We were happy with the quality of breakfast served as buffet. We would love if there was a buffet for lunch and dinner as well.
Quiet and comfortable
I was lucky to get spacious deluxe rooms. The room fixtures were of good quality. Breakfast spread was decent. Need to improve the taste of food served for Lunch and Dinner. Need to keep an attendednt at Pool side who takes care of towels etc... Hotel does not have a scenic view which is the negative side but well maintained gardens make up for it
Nice stay in a nice hotel
Nice hotel with a good location, we went there on our wedding anniversary and they treated me as a special guest. upkeep of the hotel was nice, staff good but may need some more professional training.

Centrally Located though room rate is too expensive. I don't think it's worth paying more than Rs. 5,000 a night including breakfast and all the taxes. Food is excellent in Hotel. Breakfast and lunch and dinner was excellent and worth paying every penny
