This is my go to hotel in Zurich. Clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient. The staff is excellent and rooms are outstanding with very comfortable bed, linens and all the automation.

Citizen M, the best cure for Jetlag. I love being able to black out the room gauranteed. Because a citizen in Zürich is in such a great location and I love walking around the city or riding a bicycle. I always feel like I leave healthier than I arrived.

I have been at other CItizenM hotels and I find them to consistently have a great cost/quality ratio.

The staff at this hotel went out of thier way to help me retrieve a lost phone. They were all very kind and helpful. When I can count on a place like this it gives me a great sense of trust. I really love Zurich! I really like my stay in CitizenM with my husband. It was good and very cleaned! I love the vibes of the young people at the hotel. It’s fun to be with them. They made our stay memorable. We will come back to citizenM when we visit Zurich next time.

Couples in Zurich for the first time

The hotel is super central, 15 minutes walking from the central train station, 5 minutes to the shoping stores. Quality of the hotel is good. Clean, room little complicate because for me is too modern, meaning everything together but the bed was so confortable something that I love it. Service was good too.

Really lovely hotel and staff. Overall a great place to stay, but the breakfast is a rip off. Save your money and go get something elsewhere. The food is good but overpriced for the selection. The rooms are smaller than usual hotels, however the shower is incredible so as long as you can handle a smaller space, this hotel is gem!!!

We absolutely love this hotel and how techie it was. It was definitely a different and amazing experience. We also really liked that. It was close to the airport the central train station and also around downtown. The staff was incredibly nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I would definitely come back and stay here.

The branding of this hotel was weird and not inviting. Was not a comfortable place to return to in the evening. Red shelves, weird doll on bed. Just did not enhance my vacation to Zurich.

I loved my small but incredibly comfortable room. It was perfect as a solo traveler. Giant bed nestled in the corner was perfect for my jet lag. The iPad to control the room was a little confusing but overall, highly comment. Absolutely loved the self service check in and everyone we spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful.

This hotel has an excellent location, the system is great, easy in and easy out, staff is friendly. The room is only suitable for a single person in my opinion. There is zero bathroom privacy if you are sharing the room, and traveling with large luggage leaves little to no walking space. The towels are very worn and could use updating.

Beautiful and modern looking hotel

Beautiful and modern looking hotel. A few blocks from the popular shopping areas. Great check-in service! The full breakfast with free unlimited coffees to 11am is a great deal at 27 CHf…it is Zurich, ain’t nothing cheap! The room is meticulously clean. The iPad control for TV, lights and climate is easy to use. Super comfortable bed and great shower! Room 404 was a bit warm even though I had it set at 18 degrees centigrade but we were so tired after walking 28,000 steps across Zurich, we still slept 8+ hours. Highly recommend.

So smart & so awesome!

I was SHOCKED how easy & efficient check-in was. Marlin immediately showed me how to do self check-in, asked if we needed a phone charger (yes!), told me how to get an Uber to airport, and even gave us 2 free drinks as people new to this hotel line. The room was SO SMARTLY DONE! We were beyond impressed with the intelligence this hotel uses with the modern traveler. I’m proud to see my home city has one too!

Good location

Location was good and staff was friendly. The only negative part is the bed is pushed up against the window so you have to climb over the other person. I also did not realize til our last day on the iPad it was automatically selected we did not want the room cleaned so make sure you check the iPad is not set up that way.

Our room was so "futuristic" in design and function. The bed was comfortable and we had all the space that we needed for our short stay in Zurich. The hotel was in an excellent area to tour the city. The staff were amazing. They were courteous, friendly and professional. They were extremely helpful as far as concierge service.

Coffee machine on every floor please

We stayed 2 nights at this Citizen M in Zurich. Centrally located, it was very easy to walk to the old town and to find great restaurants and cafes nearby. My biggest issue is that there is no coffee in the room ! If that is too expensive or unsustainable then I suggest that just like they have a room with an ironing board on each floor - they should ABSOLUTELY have one of those large coffee making machines that allows you to choose the type of coffee you want. As well - they could have a water station instead of people having to go through the cafeteria to fill their bottles. The room card can limit the amount of coffee usage per person. I need a coffee to get things moving in my body in the morning as do many people (digestive) - to go downstairs early (without wanting to do the breakfast buffet) and to have to wait in line for the ONE BARRISTA (who was excellent but could only handle one guest at a time) - THIS would make a whole lot of sense since Citizen M - prides itself on sustainability and amazing care of their guests. I did feel that it missed the mark in this instance !

Hotel is in a good location. Room small, but knew that going in. Don't love how everything operated by the iPad. The room was incredibly hot at night, even though temp set to 18.5 C. Room was nice and quiet even being in a somewhat busy area. Would recommend but keep in mind room is small.

Though the room size is small, but it has a comfortable bed. The only thing I noticed was that the hallway area had some funny smell that I cannot figure out. Overall, I’d still recommend this hotel because it’s accessible to everything, easy check in/out, and friendly staff.

Everything was great but if you are looking for a big room this is not the place. For one staying a night or a few it would be fine but not two people or for a longer stay. I stayed in a 1 bedroom King. Staff - Great! Facilities and Amenities - Great!

AC super hot, bes was uncomfortable

The iPad use was not worth it. Too many times it froze and simplicity of buttons and switches is so much nicer than waiting on an iPad to control everything. The room 102 had waisted space after the window. We did not understand why. The food was excellent for breakfast and the staff top notch. Wonderful staff

Excellent property for either business or pleasure. Checking in was very easy and the staff were very helpful with information. The hotel is modern and spotless. The lounge is a great place to work or to wile away a rainy afternoon. We really enjoyed it.

Third time staying in CitizenM and second time with the Zurich one. Consistent quality and a good business hotel. Probably too small if you come here for leisure though.

Hated a room with a bed crammed against the window so could only enter or leave the bed from one side. Incredibly inconvenient. You could concern yourselves with basic conveniences, not ignore them for unnecessary hi-tech iPad interfaces. There's a place for Hi-tech, but it cannot replace basic human needs and services.

Very clean and convenient. Staff in lobby and bar area very personable! The bed is comfortable but allows access from only one side. Would stay here again!

These rooms are not set up for two people. The large square beds are tucked into a cove on three sides so if two people are int he bed one needs to climb over the other to get out. If you re-orient -one person is up against the blinds and there are no shelves to place things (glasses, book, water) on. Of the seven hotels we stayed in in Switzerland this was the only one without a small coffee maker or any other amenities and there was only one spot for an open suitcase so the other was on the floor. One chair so you sit in it or on the bed and only the person near the iPad can control the lights or blinds. Also, our room looked into an empty room rather than outdoors and the windows did not open so no fresh air available.

My room was like walking in to a Swatch watch. There were some fun extras like being able to change the colour of the light in the shower. It was a comfortable room and I was able to get work done on the desk and using the Wifi. The lobby bar was fun to hang out in and the selection of food was reasonably priced and really good even for a vegetarian.

This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Excellent check in/out service and great room controls via app and iPad. Great breakfast buffet as well.

It was very high tech. We had an iPad to coordinate mood lighting, blinds and the tv. It was great! Also, the bartenders were the best! We loved this hotel.

Staff in common areas are first rate- friendly, bright, helpful. Access to trains is excellent. Third stay. Hotel never disappoints.

This place and service was amazing, location is great, HOWEVER there checkout and billing is terrible. Don’t PREPAY. I requested 2 weeks before my arrival for an early check out. Expedia confirmed that i will get one day refund but the hotel ignores the communication. I sent a message when they confirmed my stay and i corrected them to say i am checking out one day early because i am checking in another hotel in another city. They still have not refunded me even with Expedia help. I have proof of early check out. They wouldn’t give me a receipt so i took a picture of their computer. CitizenM blames Expedia but they have been giving a run around.
