Good Airport Hotel
Very nice hotel to stay close to the airport, with everything you need around ( shops, restaurants,…)
From reading other people's comments about the out dated looking rooms and loud airplane take-off/landings, i thought it wasn't bad for staying overnight. We was there end of November and Beijing is really cold, so we needed heating and had to use the A/C and that was louder so it drowns out the outside airplane sounds. The bed was comfy, we had a smoke free room and overall room was tidy and clean. We paid for the breakfast and there was a wide range of selection so we had a blast trying out food. We also did venture out for more local food in the evening it is really close by to the hotel, the shops are about 1 minute away from hotel. Only downside is we didnt have a China Simcard so we was unable to call the hotel on the day for the free shuttle bus service. We had to take a taxi from airport to hotel but going to the airport from hotel was fine we ask the reception team
Close to the airport, free shuttle bus service, friendly staff, clean, variety of Chinesse food dishes for breakfast and continental also available, highly recommended.
very traditional
Always there are many mosquitoes at the front desk area, Something should be done. New wifi system seems to be used, but it's not easy.
This location has no dining options past a certain hour (not very late) in the evening. Worst yet, the surrounding area has very limited dining places. Those little eating places look rather questionable as far as hygiene standard is concerned. I ended up with eating at Subway, which is perhaps the only place one might feel more trustworthy as far as hygiene standard is concerned. I saw quite a few international guests also ended up eating there after scouting around the area.
Overall, it was A very nice place to stay!
This is budget hotel. Considering the price, that includes the airport transfer, it is a good choice for a short stay.
Good experience overall, not a 5* hotel, but you get what you pay for, we had no wifi as it wasn't working, apart from that no issue. Would recommend.
the hotel business never really recovered from the pandemic. This use to be a beautiful garden hotel with five decent restaurants inside, now three of the restaurants are permanently closed, only two remain barely open, struggling to find any customer.
The air condition never adjusts the right temperature. The front staff at desk was not friendly.
The smell of the entrance was fabulous. The room smell pure cigarette, the air conditioner don’t work. Bad experience. I will never, ever will come back to this place.
Great option to stay around the airport of Beijing. I walked around and people were very friendly. Be ready to communicate using translators just after leaving the hotel premises, however a great experience and option to stay.
Handy for Airport.
The staff were really helpful, and the shuttle bus to and from airport was very convenient. The hotel staff helped arrange a driver for us to Great Wall of China. Great place near airport
The hotel is very close to the airport so it’s a little difficult to get a taxi to take you there. I mean they do but they’ll complain about it. The hotel is great for a night or two stay. We stayed for one night and had no problem. They have an airport shuttle too.
Free shuttle for the airport
Very comfortable and convenient for airport
Very close to the airport. We stayed only for one night and had to leave early so haven't tried breakfast. Very friendly staff but not all of them will speak English, they will try to help. Spacious room and hotel areas.
Very good, will come again next time
Reasonably priced for a good night of sleep before my early morning flight. Its shuttle service starts at 6am, which may be a little late for an early morning flight.
Transportation and convincing
I went in early Sep. ... and it was NOT a good placeto stay for 3 days. The A/C never properly cooled my room, so it felt like I was in a jungle. The bed felt damp too and I'd wake up sweating. No fan or anything inside room. Only [1] plug open for charger and luckily I brought my elec. adapter/converter. The airport shuttle drivers from/to hotel are extremely aggressive and I'd say downright unsafe. I was so scared I'd be in an accident as I was taken back to airport. The entire hotel was too hot/stuffy and everything felt damp clammy. The fixtures and lighting all felt super old, and I didn't even bother swimming or eating at indoor restaurant. There was a bug/small brown roach-like thing in my bathroom. I didn't complain because while staff were nice, I didn't want to make waves as an American staying there and get on any sort of list. I felt safe there, but there was a definite Soviet-era vibe to the whole place, down to the lighting. I guess this place was great in the 80s/90s. Avoid, even if staff are nice.
It is really great hotel I stayed. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. this is a very classical and professional. Chinese hotel. it is very close to airport, and around the hotel lots of restaurants and shopping store. I love this hotel and will book it again in the future if I transfer from Beijing international airport.
Everything is good!
Although we only spent one night at this hotel, it seems to be a very good value for the price. The room was clean and equipped with all the essentials. I did not have breakfast in the hotel, but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The front desk gave me a complimentary late checkout till 2pm when I asked them about the checkout time (says noon on the booking confirmation), which worked out really well for my afternoon flight (7 minutes away from the airport).
Pleased
Hotel had a lot to offer but I arrived too late and left too early next morning….
checked in at 2pm, there was no power from 2pm to 5pm.
Wifi was slow and not very friendly. I waited for 10 minutes to get hot water for my shower. It’s not quiet in the night due to their heating system. However, breakfast was pretty good and shuttle to airport was convenient.
The hotel itself and the surrounding area are fantastic! There’re lots of dining options; the streets and neighborhood are clean, green and with a charm of Peking. Will definitely come back again.
It's a good hotel near the airport at reasonable price.
Convenient access to the Capital Airport
The hotel is close to Beijing international airport . Convenient and free transportation to the airport. For early flights' travelers, it is worth trying it.
Terrific Airport Hotel
An airport hotel with free shuttle service, which I booked for my return from Tibet, as I was leaving China for Singapore the next day. The room was among the most economical, yet huge and comfortable. The staff was accommodating to my late arrival. Only complaint was much too long waiting for the shuttle. Almost gave up and ordered a cab, then the driver arrived. The next morning they let me stay an hour longer while I had a light snack. I was booked on Singapore Air the rest of my trip and knew I'd be well fed on my 6 hour fight. The return shuttle arrived on time, and I saw, to my regret, a Subway restaurant at the end of the street, sadly closed when I arrived, but if only I had more time. Really good hotel. I never asked if there was a subway nearby, as if there was it might be a good bet to get around Beijing. For the airport, superb.
Quick stay near Beijing Capital Airport
Average hotel.. It is just at near the airport which makes it convenient.
overall, it is ok
Polluted water from tap
Tell me if u will stay this hotel again
Staff were very helpful even though i can't speak the language. Some staff speak English but regardless they help you. Transportation to the airport is provided also
The airport pickup was efficient once you call. Hotel didn't respond to comments through the Expedia website. Staff were helpful and kind. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.
The staff was very helpful even though I don't speak the language
Dirty and old
Traditional Chinese feeling, comfortable beds.
I have stayed at Citic Airport Hotel, formerly Sino Swiss Hotel over 100 nights from 2001- 2019. 30 years ago, this was one of the top hotels in Beijing, and certainly number one or two near the airport. It has gone way downhill. The shuttle does not pick up where advertised. We had to call twice to get picked up. The lobby has a musty smell. The breakfast, which as recently as 10 years ago would have been been one of the top western style breakfasts in Beijing is still served in the beautiful, Swiss Chalet restaurant but would be disappointing at a one star hotel. We had no hot water for showers and could not get a complimentary late checkout for our late flight. The pool is still amazing, and there is reasonable dining nearby, if you like Chinese, which we do! (-:
Bed very comfortable, room was large, restaurants outside hotel, staff helpful. Close to airport, offers shuttle service to airport. Lobby a bit dated, hot water took a long time for shower.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and a nice area
Arrived during May Day holiday week so things were quiet. Overnight stay, confortable if dated room. Staff was helpful, typical of any stay I’ve had in China. Arrived at about 2030, and a wick walk outside and there were local noodle places if you were hungry. Breakfast was good, a blend of local and western tastes and good coffee. Ensure you book your ride if you are flying out as there is no regular bus schedule. I booked my ride on arrival and reconfirmed in the morning. No issues.
Good Stay
It was a very good one-night stay. But for coffee, there is no creamer, milk or sugar.
Very friendly and responsible staff, good room services, short distance from the airport, reasonable price
Super clean. Very friendly staff.
Such a beautiful hotel. The staff really went beyond trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible, we even got a room upgrade when we bought breakfast for all 6 days of our stay. Loved the laundry facility! Super helpful, since I hate having to take dirty clothes back home with me.
We were scheduled to stay at CITIC Beijing from Feb. 3 to 6 but tried to cancel almost two weeks prior because my father was ill and under observation for coronavirus symptoms. We called to cancel and the first person we spoke to said it would be fine. Many airlines and hotels were allowing free cancellation because of the NATIONAL EMERGENCY. We then had Expedia, our booking agent, call them and email them. Then five days later, we still had not heard back and called the hotel again. They claimed that they never received Expedia's email and didn't know about the phone call from Expedia, which was a lie because Expedia spoke to their personnel who asked to be emailed. Also that they would not cancel our reservation because their manager was busy. Under these extreme circumstances it is unethical to deny us a cancellation, especially as we explained we had a sick person under observation at the hospital. I will resolve this matter through my credit card but had to write about this hotel's extremely unethical behavior.
I spent one night in the hotel and I picked this hotel because it is near to the airport. From the moment the taxi pulled onto the property, all the staff was wonderful to me from the doorman to the bellman!! Language was not a barrier for me simply because I really did not have to talk and at check-in, the lady spoke some English. When I travel, I do not expect the people to speak English!!!!!! The room was clean and spacious - I was even given an upgrade!! Breakfast was wonderful and the service was excellent. I found nothing that I did not like!!!!! I would stay here again!!!! Also, the shuttle to the airport was nice!!!!!
Unclean, bad WiFi connection. Food is bad and expensive. Staff not friendly
I enjoy staying at the CITIC. The staff is courteous and professional. The rooms are very comfortable and well-decorated. Also, there is good food and great pizza! I recommend the CITIC without reservation.
No hot water. AC not working properly. Bell men service not available 24 hours.
My son's flight arrives at around midnight, and this is the reason that I booked this hotel which claims to have shuttle to/from the airport. But once my son arrived and call them for the shuttle, they said there was no more shuttles available, even though I gave them the arrival time range of 11pm-1am. He had to spent more money to take a taxi to the hotel.
Staff was nice. However, the place had a foul smell
Great location and clean hotel. Looking forward to stay here again
We've stayed here three times and it's perfect for an overnight layover. Nice rooms, value pricing, good restaurant and bar, plenty of English-speaking staff, location close to airport. It does everything it's supposed to do and as a bonus, it offers one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. If you're only in Beijing for 14-16 hours there's really no reason to stay anywhere else.
The location is close to the airport. The hotel also have shuttle bus to airport. The SPA is great. You must try the a foot massage which is such a relief after a long fly.
Staff were helpful, spoke English well, Free shuttle too and from the airport. The Room was clean and area quiet. This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel and I really recommend it.
Airport pickup is very convenient. Close to airport. Room is very clean. Front desk is very friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The cost of the room is very reasonable. Stayed for one night. Will come back.
I booked a non-smoking room. The room they gave me obviously had a stench of old smoke. The room was clean. Easy check-in. Wished they had 24hour shuttle.
Modern classic feel. Very big room and bath area. Comfortable bed
excellent condition and service, strongly recommend
the swimming pool looks not clean no tourist information no public transport and has to count on bus to downtown but the bus schedule for returning to hotel is too early at 3:30 pm I have to count on airport shuttle everyday
I am still.misding one booking on.the day 12 to 13 oct and I am told that hotels.com.did not send the booking, they cannot do anything apathetic to all the peoblem no tourist information
Just nice to overnight before the flight. The room is clean and everything necessary. The staff is good and friendly, helped to call a taxi
Clean and tidy, quiet rooms and spacious. My room was on 2 levels, tv setee, toilet and desk downstairs with stairs up to bedroom, bathroom and toilet, also had a changing area. Couldn’t fault it. Staff polite but could be a bit more interactive. Larry Clift
I only stayed one night for my flight out the next morning. The only thing I think could've made it better is if ALL the staff spoke English.
Pet friendly!!! Recommends to everyone who travel with pets in Beijing!!
I like the reliability of this hotel. It is well-appointed, well-maintained and the staff are polite and well-trained.
Shuttle bus
11th floor has good sized studio rooms bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. Locating free shuttle a bit tricky, if at Beijing T3, go to ground (called first) floor, get to gate 5 walk over the road and look at the tall signs (walk all the way around them) one has citic logos, the bus also had logos, for my stay shuttle from airport 2030 and from hotel next day 0500 was nice short drive. If you are in a rush take a taxi.
It is close to the Beijing Capital airport and the hotel runs a free shuttle to and from the airport. It is good for a relaxing day if you have a long lay over. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. There are a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes.
Nice hotel with free shuttle near the airport. There is a very cute cat abandonned at this hotel waiting for its owner. I am not sure if it has already been adopted but I really hope that it will be taken care of well. Whoever get a chance to stay at this hotel, please check him out !
Room is roomy. It has TV, separate bath and toilet, desk, sofa and tea set. There was black mold in bathroom. While hotel itself has odd stake moldy smell.
nice location, close to the airport, a free shuttle is a plus. updated me to loft room, very nice and quiet.
Great Hotel. close to the airport and the staff were wonderful. The only down side was the internet connection. I couldn't get on internet at all but as I was only there one night it didn't really matter that much.
Possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. It was amazing. We wanted to sit and eat all day
A very nice hotel. Shuttle bus to airport is punctual. Restaurants are good.
I like the hotel. It is quite outdated but clean and there are facilities such as gym and sauna and pool. My only problem with the hotel are the young female staff. They are not friendly and always looks either irritated or confused especially those who are in the splash center. I think they are maybe university students working as apprentice in the hotel.
I like place which is close to airport terminals. Airport free shuttle is available also help a lot.
Close to airport with free shuttle bus, front desk is very helpful
Good place to stay
We had about 6 hours to kill and the paid lounges at PEK did not sound like a good bet, so we stayed here instead. An excellent decision! We were able to take showers & get a few hours of rest on comfortable beds. It was even cheaper than the lounge would have been
Good hotel to stay while in transit!
It was good for a short stay and I booked for third time! Staffs are friendly but communication is a challenge!
1. The price of hotel stay charged included damage deposit that sadly not received back yet. The front desk staff said it will deposit back to my credit card. But I don’t see anything yet! 2. Never seen any damage deposit that charge right away at hotel in another part of the world.. only here in Beijing they charge damage deposit!! Right up front. 3. Far away from down town 4. Hotel staff are not helpful with giving information of tourist knowledge and general guidelines.
I have stayed at this hotel several times. I like because it is very close to the airport, the price is reasonable, it has four restaurants opened until 22:00h and a bar opened until 24:00h. On the down side, it is somewhat old style (but that does not bother me too much) and the shuttle is not easy to find from either terminal 2 or 3. Make sure you check where the shuttle stops because nobody knows it and on the phone they cannot explain it.
Airport transportation is a real plus. On time and convenient.
I like this property was not that far away from the Beijing airport. I also like that the hotel had a lot of cultural Chinese antiques on display. We even got a room upgrade to a business suite for free which was very nice of the staff there to do that.
Air conditioning needed to be stronger
A Good Choice
Lovely hotel, big room (we were upgraded voluntarily). Good location close to airport. Free shuttle to airport. Several restaurants in hotel to eat at. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Very nice indoor and outdoor pool. We would definately stay here again.
Lovely resort style airport hotel near foot massage and hot pot
hotel did not have currency exchange a n did not really cater for tourists no information about what to see or do
I always stay here on my way through Beijing. It’s close to the airport, clean, spacious rooms, and very welcoming. There are several restaurants to choose from, a great pool and workout room, and they staff is very helpful.
Great location near airport, shuttle service to/from airport, great staff, nice restaurants, clean rooms, comfortable beds and good local amenities.
They should change the water flash system that is out of date and waste lots of water.
A quirky little hotel a bit off the beaten path. I got a deluxe room which was two-storied with plenty of space and nice amenities. The video arcade bar was fun and I had a very credible burger in the lobby lounge. I didn’t get to check out the other two restaurants or the nearby strip mall. There was a airport shuttle and also a shuttle to the City. I would stay here again.
The hotel accommodated our request for late arrival and an extra bed perfectly. We checked in at 2 am due to our late arrival. The staff checked in very quickly. We asked for an extra bed when the booking was done, the extra bed was provided when we arrived. Good breakfast. Excellent swimming pool. We would recommend this hotel.
Being very close to the airport with free shuttle service was convenient. The hotel was surprisingly nice. Check in and out was simple. The garden area was nice and there was lots of amenities that made us wish we were staying longer. We would definitely stay there again.
It is close to the airport, it is not expensive and it is very clean
This is a very old property with outdated facilities

The property has long teeth, but it is very close to the airport and super helpful staff make this hotel a super value. Recommend.
