Great stay
Very happy with my stay overall
It is ridiculous that visitors have to carry luggage up the stairs and down the stairs on the way to rooms without having elevators. It is not an accessible hotel. Also a lot of cleaning staff do not speak or understand English. The person at check in was very stiff and unsympathetic. You pay the price for what you get.
Clean, plenty of hot water in the shower, quiet rooms, valet people very good, comfortable bed. Front desk person could have been friendlier. Overall nice place.
Loved it thank you !
The need to fix that transporting shuttles services between the casino and sky tower. Very uncomfortable and inconvenient especially for kids and elderly visitors. The next issue is what happened to the circus glamours meaning the circus shows. 2 thumbs up on the food. If the hotel decide to hire or change the train shuttle equipment or services please make sure is someone who will reliable and in business for a good while. Or stop been cheap and turn the shuttles back on pls.
Convenient
I reserved 2 months in advance for 1 room with king bed. When they have me a room with 2 queen beds, they said that rooms with in bed where gone already. Was not happy.
Great stay for the price.
The staff at registration was fantastic! Very friendly, polite and happy to help. Our room was decent, but somewhat dated with rusty trim around the bathroom door and the shower was only luke warm.
Fun times!!
Johnson staycation
The view was amazing and so was the weather. If you’re coming to snow have good windshield wipers and wiper fluid!
Location was great in regards to the freeway, but not so much in regards to the trains. The trains ran at different hours of the night. Other than that the room was nice. Had issues with TV and WiFi but front desk helped with that!
The shows are not what they used to be. Only 10-15 min shows every 45min. The Gen Z Staff didn’t seem to happy to work. Other than that it was a good stay.
Room was not very clean, urine on toilet from previous occupants. Heater was very loud and smelled funny, could smell cigar smoke from adjoining room, shuttle to room not working, hall carpeting was dirty.
Nice hotel
Arcade games for kids
No hot water
No hot water all night! Customer service was horrible.
Room service
Would like to remodel the hotel.
The room is nice but one of the remote has no battery cover and two lamps had no light blub and shower head is horrible! The stair elevator broken. There’s no hours on coffee shop.
Perfect stay for Valentines day
This hotel charges a resort fee but there is NO spa, NO pool, NO hot tub. There is a tiny gym with about 4 pcs. of equipment. Stop lying and just charge a regular hotel rate!
Ruined Valentine’s Day
Requested a king. Got two doubles. They said they were out of kings. Asked for comp. They said the doubles are more and sorry for the inconvenience.
Convenient location.
Nice
Circus Circus -- a Reno Tradition
Circus Circus is a place I stay regularly when I need to be In Reno, Nevada, overnight. The rates are reasonable, it is located just a short distance off of Interstate 80, right on Virginia Avenue which runs through the middle of town, with plenty of free parking. Circus Circus is connected via breezeways with plenty of other local resorts and restaurants, meaning you really don't need to leave the premises to find something to eat or something to do. Getting to the Sky Tower is a bit of a walk from check-in, but the rooms are nice and the price is right. Circus Circus is also located in the heart of downtown Reno, which puts it close to the convention center, Nevada Museum of Art, the Auto Museum, and other downtown attractions, and getting to shopping areas is as easy as driving down Virginia. University of Nevada Reno is also just a short drive north on Virginia. If you have kids, there are arcades and games for them to play as well. In short, Circus Circus is a Reno tradition, and I am sure you will enjoy your stay there.
It was ok but the other ones are better
Great service
The slot were winning.
Very happy about free transportation to and from airport ! Room was great and the staff very friendly. I was disappointed and sad that the casinos and restaurants were so empty!! Bet all three hotels are loosing money every day.
Very dated looks old rundown.
It was a great mini trip. Kids loved it would’ve been better if the Chiefs won the Super Bowl so I get my winnings back.
Easy way to get around and Customer service nice only problem. The property needs maintenance. Besides the the hotel was nice and quiet. Sleep like a baby. I will recommend it
For $55 on a Saturday night it was a good deal. The hotel has seen better days, and seems to be getting really long in the tooth at this point. Overall, it is a good value as it’s connected to two other hotels and located downtown so it is a fairly convenient area. I’d stay there again if the price was right.
Had no hot water for showers all the nights of stay. Called and spoke to front desk/management all 3 days and the problem never got fixed.
This hotel is in downtown Reno so there’s that in regards to safety. But the hotel is conveniently located to the National Bowling center, Reno Events center and UNR. The Row is nice and all the hotels are connected with lots of food options. Circus Circus also has a midway area which is great for the sub 21 set. In general smells like cigarettes and is dated. But staff is friendly, service is excellent and the parking is easy.
The property is run down.
S no people playing. Very sad and empty.
Old hotel and ther
Check in was super fast, room was clean and spacious.
Proprioception
We had a broken chair and a broken toilet paper holder. The hotel is very outdated and old. Not terribly impressed.
Check in was fast but, the receptionist was short and not customer friendly.
Walking
It was nice easy to get around
Rude and un clean the room smelt like smoke and then they tried to charge me a cleaning fee for smoking and i dont even smoke
Hotel was good. Food court was very duty. All tables and floor were very bad. They should have 1 person to clean constantly.
The food court was very nasty, all the tables were dirty, food all over down right gross. My 5 year old grandson would not eat there! Staff acted like they didn’t care and not very happy.
Good
The hotel is very old and rundown. It would be one thing if it was clean, but it is not. We upgraded to a large suite. The bathroom door didn’t latch, the toilet paper holder was broke and hair in our shower. The kids area was not terrible, but many of the employees were bothered by people asking questions and rude. We will not be back.
Is good just some of the staff are rude
Good price!
The room was comfortable and clean for the most part. Enjoyed the view of the surrounding mountains. The customer service was fantastic. My only complaint was that I had booked a room with a king size bed but ended up with a room that had 2 queen beds I think? Also the tub was very small but the overall bathroom was large. A lot of traffic on the elevators so that was unfortunate at times but didn’t hinder our trip in any way. The cleanliness of the lobby and hallways was questionable in my personal opinion. Overall it was a solid stay with a very good price!
My kid likes the arcade/carnival game area
Disappointed
Tub flooded when I showered. Spoke to front desk staff and they said they would send someone up. Told them they can just come in because I was going out. They told me ok and be sure "do not disturb" sign is not on door, which I agreed. When I came back from being out a "do not disturb" sign was placed on my door. Thought it was indication flooding issue resolved. I noticed my original sign was inside room and now I had 2 signs. When I showered the next morning flood remained.
1. Safety concern in the parking area. 2. Blanket is too thin and not suitable for the winter. 3. Room is too cold for the whole night due to insufficient heating. 4. Suggest installing security camerad and/or more security patrol in the parking area.
Great service and clean
Nos fue muy bien, el personal muy amabe
Didnt like resort fee surprise
👌
Go anywhere else Than Circus Circus
When i checked in 24 minutes early i was charged 10 dollars for early check in plus another 4.98 for my 2 year old when hotels said the room can accommodate 4 ppl. They don't even charge for a 2 year old to eat at most restaurants. Old tower, torn sheets, the ac when i set at 73 went from about 80 with the heater to hearing the ac kick on and take it down to 50, when it's snowing outside. The ac was on auto. Coffee in the room no bottle water. No extra pillow or comforter in closet. The bathroom is dated, the shower head was the cheapest amazon special as it was screaming when in use. Crumbs on the carpet. What a horrible experience for the whole family. We got almost zero sleep. Stay at the J resort or the truck stop in sparks. This place sucks bad. The Casino is full of local homeless drug addicts. The circus is no more. It's a joke. My daughter wasn't impressed. Escalator didn't work. The Trolley wasn't working from the parking garage. There are no more table games you must go to other casinos. There was a group of hoodlums hanging out by the elevators and vallet parking that nobody felt comfortable around because they were yelling and cursing. Caesars needs to do away with this Casino in Reno just as Harrahs decided to do. I'd rather stay in California for the same price for more safety and comps than this S Hole. Who allows this. Do these owners even try to stay here to see how a guest would feel? Look Elsewhere for safe family fun. This isn't the place.
Ok
Didn’t get the room I requested, got a two bed and wanted a one king, sheets and ground we’re dirty
Check in was easy
Served its purpose. Hotel was dated and dirty. The lines for the elevator were ridiculous and could be problematic in an emergency. The room served its purpose but I wouldn’t recommend or stay there again.
Good stay with kids
Lucky hotel
Terrific stay at CCR! I won some obscure prop bets at the neighboring Silver Legacy.
Good
A bit dated but otherwise fine
Check in/check out was an easy process. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the entertainment for kids was great!
Reserved a King bed but when got to room it was two queens. Elevators dont work. poor signage on how to get around.
Circus circus Reno, check in question difficult to speak to anybody, room was good and the fact that the room was in the same tower as check in was a plus. Clean and quiet. To check in parking was bad, you cannot park in the front of registration.
Loved electronic check in
Great Reno weekend
Everything was amazing room, food court ,arcade and shuttle service!!
It was nice and relaxing.
It was just fine. Parking was very handy to my room
Nice n clean
Nice place to stay
Always a nice place to stay with kids. Rooms do need a bit of maintenance or updating, but is clean and everyone is friendly, from check-in, to housekeeping. Love the Midway for the kids to play games and hang out. Food court has lots of options and good food.
Dirty
Great place for families
We love circus circus! We just had a small inconvenience with the elevator… lines were crazy long it was just horrible. please bring the little train back.
Great Hotel
Everything was great except no hot water the last day.
Only bad part was not having any hot hot to take a shower with
Elevators, took 30-45 min to get one up to our floor.
Parking garage was a joke, not enough spacescwith portions closed off
It was amazing.
Had the best time
The arcade, family friendly.
The location is always important
Staff was not supportive
Nice
Hotel is dated
Staff had to charge an additional $120 For our stay and when she offered the “same tower” room she made a rude joke. Not everyone wants to upgrade. If it was that easy, why don’t you pay for it?
My room was not very clean at all. I just needed sleep otherwise I would have asked for another room.
This is my first time going to Circus Circus. The parking garage is atrocious. One thing that I can recommend is them getting letters to know exactly where we have parked. The parking garage is huge and you don’t know where you parked and it can be unsafe if you’re an elder
Great customer service. Thanks Ron in the front lobby
The front door had what looked like a blood stain by the doorknob. The entrance light was out, also the night stand in the middle of the beds as well as a table were dirty with what.looked like melted candy or ice cream. The last thing was taking a shower in the morning with freezing water because it wouldn't heat up.
Everything was really good Thank you for your help
Uncomfortable bed. They call double beds as queen beds and insisted it was queen. Staff was very nice and hotel facility are mostly clean. Good food court .
Dirty and loud
Had a wonderful experience. It was quick and easy check in
Reno was not what i was expecting. It's a bit sketch. We traveled with our cheerleading team for a competition and every one of our families had an unsavory interaction with someone who was displaced, homeless, or inebriated. Where we're from smoking in indoor public spaces is illegal, so we had issues with a large portion of the hotel smelling like smoke pretty actively. My daughter and I both have asthma and allergies so it did present a problem for us with not really being able to enjoy much of the resort. Oh, and the resprt charged a "resort fee" that was just under $40 per night, but when you look at what the fee is meant to cover it was for regular amenities that regular hotels just offer as part of their regular pricing. When i saw this, I assumed that it would mean it was decent quality stuff since they charged extra for it... It's not. Lol! It's very basic, maybe less than basic. I think this is the first time we stayed somewhere that didn’t have a microwave in the room to warm up left overs or snacks. There was a fridge, but the cabinet it was in was so dirty and dusty on the inside that storing food in it felt a little unsanitary. Reno as a whole smelled like an ashtray and when it didnt smell like an ashtray it smelled like random funk. It was weird. This was our first time to Reno. We've been to Las Vegas several times and it was a much better experience in general. For Reno being a touristy type city, much of their businesses seemed ill prepared for visitors.
ac does not work
stay night in room without ac. ac does not working at all.

Everything was no to bad but I’m not no agree why they charge me 2999 for a movie they said I don’t have idea about that and the shower was clogged
