The people at the hotel are the most caring, attentive, helpful and friendly people I have ever come across during my forty years of travel. Breakfast experience at your hotel is exceptional and I doubt can be imrovrd upon by anyone else. On 14/3/2025, the lady serving the breakfast guests was the kindest, most efficient and handled the whole floor on her own. She deserves a special mention. Next to the people, your property is beautiful, very well maintained and very peaceful. Would recommend it to all my friends.

We stayed at the Yildiz Palace Suite and from the moment we checked in, it was an incredible experience. A butler 'Ayhan' came to greet us and we were blown away by the opulence of the hotel and the palace. A few minutes after entering our room which was fit for a royal couple, Ayhan entered for soap service. He offered us two complimentary bars of soap which were really nice. We felt very well taken care of as the head butler 'Najmet Din' greeted us the next morning and escorted us to the breakfast at Akdeniz. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. The attention to detail and variety of food was brilliant. Even check-out was a breeze and the butler came to our suite instead of us having to go to the reception. They allowed us to check out three hours later than standard and even saw us off outside the palace. Ciragan Palace Kempinski has defined what a 5 star hotel should be.

Everything was beautiful. Great location, beautiful views great breakfast however service was a bit slow considering the caliber of the hotel. Pool area was nice could use a little refresh and new cups which were a bit old and gross but beautiful hotel

Hotel was gorgeous and opulent amazing pool area and hotel amenities. Lots of noise from the palace which has events in nearly every day so if you want a quiet time beware of this as loud music goes onto midnight

We love the room we stayed at the Yildiz Palace suite. It’s nice experience to stay in a real historical Palace and the staff are very nice and helpful.

Amazing property. I have been staying at the Kempinski Istanbul for years. And it’s always consistent with the service and very welcoming staff. Also they renovated the hotel and it’s better than ever.

Spectacular Hotel

It was an amazing experience, one I will never forget. The only downside was the service in the breakfast area and the cafe near the pool. It was hard to get the attention of the staff in these areas. But the service from the personal butler in our suite and staff attended to our room was above and beyond. It is definitely a place worth staying at.

Ultimate Hotel with the most INCREDIBLE Hammam!

What an incredible experience! The hotel is truly one of a kind with amazing heritage behind it. The service is impeccable and the food was superb. Must have dessert every day at Gazebo and the pastas at Bellini were delicious. The best best recommendation is the Hammam. They did a bubble massage for our son and he loved it. Definitely a hotel where I’d love to have a long stay.

Must have dessert every day at Gazebo and the pastas at Bellini were delicious. Not really centered as a kids hotel but they went out of their way for our 7yr old. The best best recommendation is the Hammam. They did a bubble massage for our son alongside us and he can’t stop talking about it. 5 nights was still not enough for us!

For an hotel of this category, there needs to be an excellent gym. The current one is very lamentable. Also we had the inconvenience of having to change rooms due to the constant noisy parties which probably are good for the hotel yet not so for the guests. Moreover, it was a shame that guests were not allowed to visit the original palace, for some reason or other. It was disappointing. We never could go to the prime restaurant. Always not allowed to go find it. Food was good, service also good.

Beautiful property with great service. But I had paid almost double the price for the boaphorus view room then it should have been.

We had a wonderful time at Kempinski hotel, amazing hotel with an old palace amenities and excellent customer service, the food is the best!

It is not necessary for the front desk representative to claim that they are “upgrading” us at the check in and then assign you a room on one of the lower levels next to rooms going through remodeling with the crew working all day. Unfortunately, this is becoming a common occurrence when hotels see the reservation through a “third party.”

Stayed at the hotel with my daughter we had such a lovely time! We chose a regular room but due to our Expedia gold membership we got an upgrade with the best room and a fantastic view! Hotel was luxurious, people were amazing, hospitality to the max! Must visit if you want to have a wonderful weekend in Istanbul! Definitely will come back.

The hotel was fabulous, great food, the staff couldn’t have been nicer even though quite a few didn’t speak English, the only downside was the noise from the weddings taking place at the hotel practically every night as well as the freezing cold swimming pool.

Best hotel in Istanbul

Well deserving of its accolade as Istanbul's finest: the room, the view, the space and the service could not be faulted. We also had a fabulous good value dinner at the Bosphorus Grill.

The staff does not speak English. Also they rent the hotel areas for other people parties, like marriages all days with big noise until 12:00

Exceptional staff and possibly one of the best sites in Istanbul. We got to breakfast three minutes late and they charged us for it, it’s not much money but I expected more from a five star hotel.

Hard to achieve this level of service

This hotel offers top quality, each individual strives for perfection, goes the extra step to make the visitors most comfortable. The rooms and service is impeccable. They treat all customers with the same respect and patience, even the ones who are somewhat spoiled and disrespectful. I was truly impressed. I used the pool two times and the views and the atmosphere is spectacular. The views from my room were stunning. I had dinner at the Bosphorus Grill and that proved to be on par with any great restaurant in the world plus the incredible location!!! Special thanks to our service staff Giray and Baran!

Poor Service - not typical for Turkey

Service was deplorable. We were so looking forward to our stay. Ordering took 1-3 hours for anything to arrive. We didn't even finish dinner; started aat 8:30 and by 11:30, still didn't finish. We just left. What was so frustrating was that all over Turkey in much less costly places, service was amazing.

Our visit to Istanbul was greatly enhanced because we stayed at the Ciragan Palace. It is a beautiful property. We had a fantastic view of The Bosporus from our room and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on our balcony each morning at no extra charge. The service was excellent overall but I would like to mention the front desk staff, the concierge and the doormen. Their help and advise were truely exceptional. We did not want to leave!!!

Such and amazing place. Service, food, location, atmosphere, and history! My wife and had only planned to stay four days, travel to another part of Turkey, then stay elsewhere on the last four days. Instead, we canceled other location and stayed @ Ciragan Palace again!!

The location is unique and amazing. Service and staff excellent. The rooms are spacious and need some TLC.

Pluses: Yachts cruising by all day. The tour of the palace. Pool, service, amenities, great breakfast buffet. Restaurant waitstaff were small on wine pour I made a mistake on my flight date and they had zero consideration to let me checkout one day early and get a refund. I had to pay for one night stay and breakfasts that I never was able to use. Proof of flight had zero impact. Totally uncaring when the lower staff works so hard to please people. Stupid corporate power play. I will never stay at a Kempinski hotel again.

Starts getting a bit old. Needs a small renovation

i have made a booking mistake and submitted that the check-in was a day earlier than my arrival to Istanbul and have tried to call the hotel directly and through Expedia to revise the booking details but as per the Expedia agent it has been deducted as it is a no show whereas i have immediately made a complaint to Expedia support to modify my booking.

Terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone purely because the service was abysmal.

Fit for Two Queens!

Fabulous plush setting and service. Pampered and indulged like Royalty. Front row center views of the Bosporus with palaces and Radio Tower Needle on the Asian side. Beautiful sunset and sunrise during our stay and full course Room service included, Had best dinner and breakfast on our private terrace, the former was included free!

Excellent location and service.

Thé location is perfect and the views are priceless. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel rooms are really really outdated and beyond the price tag, it felt like a 3 star hotel room. The beds were not comfortable at all. Breakfast was great. I expected a luxurious stay, but the condition of the hotel rooms don’t allow that sense of luxury. We didn’t like the room condition and the management tried to accommodate and offered us an upgrade. It is appreciated but I wouldn’t like to book again in the hotel before adequate renovation is taken. Lastly, the views of phosphorus are really amazing from the hotel and the location is great. I would like to thank the many staff who made it worth the stay like Ms. Fatma and thé room service team.
