4 night stay

Quiet place that was nice after Bangkok, good for a couple of nights before moving further south. Only a 250b ride from Pattaya City with Grab or using the free shuttle service.

Nice breakfast and swimming pool. Very friendly staff.

Room was big and super clean. Highly recommmend it. All hotel was super clean including the pool.

Cheap, and great location. Excellent restsraunt around and fun for kids.

Staff was not accommodating even when lobby was empty, we requested an ocean view and it was the tiniest of sliver the rest was blocked by trees and other buildings, floors were dirty in room and throughout hotel, shower liners molded, water kettle broken, tv was 15 years dated and didn’t work, and room doors are warped around the frame and have cracks visible at night On the plus side the Bell hops are fantastic and help get you out as fast as possible to your destinations, the pool was beautiful, there is a fantastic beach restaurant when you leave the property and walk about a quarter of a mile to the right we eat there more than anything connected to property

Too far from night life

Next to the sea, there is a door behind the hotel leading to a private virtual seaside path, quiet, beautiful view, strong sea breeze, attentive staff, good service, and fast. Quiet, peaceful, private, and safe if you have a chance to go to Pattaya. Will go back to stay again.

Colchan hotel Quiet and Relaxing

This Hotel offers excellent accomadation set in a quiet area by the sea.Pleasant walks along sea front and bikes are available free of charge ! Beach not accesable near hotel as very muddy ! The pool is lovely and set out with main pool leading to childrens pool Drinks and food served by the pool all day !. Rooms were excellent . sheets / towels changed everyday .we had side sea facing room in garden wing and sunsets were amazing. I reccomend the breakfast so much variety on offer very nice !.Although the hotel is 15 mins away from main Pattaya beach the hotel operates a free shuttle bus that drops you a short walk from a sandy beach with everything going on ! we always found it a relief to get back to the hotel after the hustle and bussle of down town Pattaya. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel .Our only complaint would be communication with the staff was difficult as many did not speak english but they tried there best !

I liked every thing about this hotel and every body is friendly and helpful. Some one complains that beach is dirty but not sure what was his expectation I don’t see dirty beach I did my running exercise and the pool area looks very good very clean even out side is save if you go for walk by the beach I see securities all over along the beach lightings there is a big temple to go for walk and thousands of peoples coming there . I guarantee if you don’t leave hotel for 2 days you don’t get tired they have weightlifting gym as well I liked the beach front walk way break works design it’s very clean, the sound of birds in the morning is so relaxing . I will be back there . Don’t miss there breakfast buffet I recommend you to get that with your reservation. Big land for this hotel to walk around and take pictures .

A liked the fower it was grand and that's it. No air conditioning in reception, dining lifts or hallways. Ants in rooms. No character. The beach was not as per the photos online. It was filthy and brown. We picked hotel to be near the beach disappointed.!!!!

Fantastic hotel, all the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from Pattaya there is a free shuttle bus every 4hrs to and from the centre of Pattaya. The facilities are excellent,swimming pools gym and sauna. The rooms are spacious and spotless. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, and I would definitely use it again.

Ok, but may not go back

The Hotel is good and the sea view is amazing. The only problem I found, the breakfast is standard and same menu is repeated no variety. The other problem is that the Wifi connection was only give for 1 device, I had asked the hotel we are 2 occupant and they said no we only provide 1 access code for 1 device and it was very disappointing.

Quiet location with amazing sea view

The hotel is situated in the northern part of Pattaya. It can take up to 30 minutes from the happening part of Pattaya town. Hotel is quite old in facade. And toilet can be dark. There is a beer garden that has music and soccer played the whole night till 3am. So, do note if you are choosing a room that is facing the garden. Pricing of the hotel room is good. So, no complains. The breakfast has a number of options. But the service staff are generally NON-THAI speaking. So, do be patient and speak slowly.

No children's playroom. playground and the rooms do not have balcony. Overall it was OK

Fantastic Hotel

Myself and my partner stayed for my 30th Birthday. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself was to a high clean standard. Everything was fantastic. I would certainly recommend this hotel

Nice quiet getaway

We had a nice stay. The grounds are well kept. The breakfast was delicious and service was great. We got an upgrade! That was unexpected!!

very disappointing

They advertise satellite tv but its cable with only 2 English news channels. the rooms have vertically no insulation so it sounds like other guests are in your room. I among others staying at this hotel got severe food poisoning Food was not very good, and a little high in price with base price plus service fee plus tip. The hotel staff however were wonderful, I hope that the owners appreciate them. Hotel in bad location, hard and expensive to go anywhere.

Enjoyed My stay @ Cholchan

1st Day I was at Holiday Inn Pattaya, I found this Hotel is Good comparatively, Therefore Booked for a day first and impressed with the Hotel and continued a day more by cancelling my trip to Bangkok. The Hotel situated 7 km from the Beach road, They have shuttle service free from the Hotel frequently.

We had to go to the School so it was the closed one. So far was it ok

Checkin was confused, room good, tennis court good.Lots of bus loads of Chinese whom were smoking in non smoking areas.

Nice view, but I'd try another hotel next time

The hotel has a nice beach view, but is remote and far from things to walk to. The floor we were staying on (Floor 8) was also insanely warm. We turned the A/C on full blast, but it never got cold enough and was roaring loud. I ended up taking a cold shower in the bathroom to cool off. Also, be sure of your reservation dates before booking because they're really strict about cancellations. My partner got sick the night before we were supposed to leave, so we ended up staying in Bangkok an extra night. I called twice to have our first night at Cholchan cancelled and even left a message at their Reservation Center, but when we finally arrived there, they told us that they had expressly "held" a room for us and that we would have to pay up (almost an additional $130). Which was so strange when we arrived and saw how many empty rooms there were on our floor.

This hotel is just a bit out of the town which is not convenience for us. However I like the swimming pool in the hotel! I like the sea view from the room too.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever!

Hotel Extorts / Steals / Cheats their customers. 1.) They charge fees not disclosed in agreement for online bookings. New years party Mandatory payment by All customer of 4000baht or $130 USD Per Person! At time of check in. 2.)With a online booking for 2 guest I was again charged 700 baht or $21 USD for my partner to stay with me. I've never seen so many angry customer all making the same argument. Very bad management and staff. Most all the staff took offense to the customer dissatisfaction with getting cheated. This is the short review, I could go on and on about the disregard for right and wrong. This hotel culture simply does not care what people think. Beware , Beware, Beware

Location was not very good. Everything else was great.

Friendly staff, good food, nice pool, great pool bar and fun pup. Rooms clean and comfortable, nice bathroom and shower. Great for families almost great for singles except for too far from nightlife. Cost mee too much to get around. I would reccomend this hotel anyway.
