Very, quiet, private with a lot of charm. Well-stocked kitchen with everything one could need. Simple straightforward check-in process. I would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful heritage property right uptown. Very clean. Great communication with staff even when we weren't paying as close attention as we should have been! They have parking or there's a parking garage across the street.

My wife dropped me off as I was going to airportbin the morning. We both kicked ourselves for not planning for her to stay the night and drive back home in the morning. The suite was gorgeous! Super clean, great furnishings, heritage building. I dont know whatbthe area is like but it's downtown so, a mixed bag.

I loved the decor, and that the suite had everything we needed. Excellent bed. Yhe diswasher was a bonus!

We had an excellent stay and can't wait to go back, much better option than the "chain" hotels.

What a beautiful room! The comfort level of the king size bed was phenomenal. I need this mattress in my life. The layout was perfect in this historic property.

Always love staying at Chipman Hill properties. Pratt House is a great location uptown, close to everything.

Beautiful historic building but with all the modern comforts. Staff were very friendly. Only thing missing was a full length mirror.

Great location and walkable to pubs, restaurants and waterfront area. Room was spacious and clean! Parking was tight but nice to have!

We had a wonderful stay in this historic property. Beautiful building. Clear instructions on how to get in and the parking area was nice and tucked away. My only wish is that check out could be at noon so I could send more time there 🙃 Definitely would return and recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our suite was clean and roomy. The building dates back to 1850. It was very well maintained and had a lot of character.

Beautiful, historic property in a great location in uptown to Saint John. Easy walking distance to the convention centre, shops, restaurants, the city market and tourist attractions. Very responsive staff.

Love our stays here! Always so beautiful and inviting! The tv didn’t work but there was a power outage because of weather the day before so I assumed that was why and honestly didn’t bother with it anyways! It was still wonderful!

The room was fine. The pictures that were given of the property had nothing to do with what we actually got. I think this is more to do with Chipman Hill than Expedia. For reasons unknown, Chipman likes to keep it a mystery until you walk into your room. You won't know the location until after you book. We thought there would be a couch and there wasn't. so, when our son visited, he and I sat at the top of the bed. The bottom of the bed kept flipping. My husband tried to correct it but to no avail. But again, overall the room was fine.

Heritage property, lovely rooms, great area

This heritage property is a wonderful place for accommodations while visiting Saint John, NB. It is in walking distance of numerous restaurants, pubs, cafes around the Uptown Area (although some hills involved!) and near parks. The rooms have wonderful furnishings and amenities; and one of the most comfortable beds ever slept in. The kitchenette is fully equipped if you want to make your own meals on site. Full marks to the operators for their communications ahead of time; instructions made for clear access to the room. We would stay here again!

We liked having a kitchen and laundry. We had trouble with the heat in the room…too warm. Also someone took our prepaid parking spot which was a hassle,

such a great place to stay.

I almost hate to tell you so that I can always get a spot here but truly this is too special not to share it. I was really quite amazed. I'd never stay anywhere else now in St John. What a change from the normal sterile/always the same hotel room/suite. The room décor furniture and architectural details were quite amazing. a great location, incredibly comfortable and so scrupulously cleaned it appeared brand new. The check in process worked flawlessly, I needed a minor bit of help during the stay and they responded instantly and solved the small issue. I really can't think of a single thing to change. Value for $$ is outstanding.

Our stay was comfortable, clean, in a great location and quiet. The room, while not very large, had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. We did not receive instructions for check-in but I was able to call the after-hours line and they were very helpful!

We were upgraded to the penthouse which was very nice. Only issue three flights of steep stairs. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were skeptical when we got to the neighborhood of the hotel. But we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Very nice.

Hotel near many attractions on water front and downtown. Very nicely maintained and historic building, rooms with kitchenette and extra seating.
