A great stopover.
Very friendly welcome. Wonderful pool on a a hot summer day.
Beautiful, quiet chateau (large house). Every room is different: bed size, floor level, floor space, decorations. Very good onsite restaurant. The owner, Christelle, not only advised us on winery tours but handled the booking as well. Highly recommended.
Nice Place to Stay
Food Good. Very nice owners and very good service Good location for exploring Bordeaux and the Dordogne
Faultless stay.
A little tricky to find but a beautiful building and location when you do. It made me think of the building that was in the Russell Crow film when he inherited the house in Provence, only much better condition. There is no restaurant as such and we hadn't pre-booked a meal but we had an excellent selection of tapas and a bottle of local Rose on the terrace. Very reasonably priced. The bedroom was at the top of the house, very well fitted out but with some low beams, great bathroom. Could not fault the stay, would stay again.
Owner Laura is very nice. However the WiFi and heat are weak during night time.
A relaxing stay in a beautiful chateau with swimming pool and free parking. Laura was an excellent host, advising us on places to visit in the local area. The breakfast was amazing with fresh bread, croissants, cheese, ham, several jams, yoghurts and fruit and this was included in the price. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area., thankyou Laura for your hospitality!
What a great place to stay!! Laura and Mick were great hosts, Very comfortable bed. Superb breakfast. Wonderful location. We would recommend it to anyone wanting a traditional French place to stay. Thank you.
Beautiful Relaxing Friendly
What a great place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, very friendly and accommodating hosts and a convenient base to explore the area. We had a wonderful time, wished we could have stayed longer and the only issue we had was a very sad little boy who didnt want to leave!
Excellent hotel in St.Emilion
Our stay at Château Puygrenier was extremely memorable. It was unlike anywhere else we have stayed before. Laura our host was the most welcoming host we've ever met and made our stay unforgettable. From putting together an amazing breakfast, helping us book tours at local wineries and cooking amazing meals that rival 5-Star restaurants, nothing was too much trouble for her. Laura really cares about her guests experiences and for my wife and I, staying at Château Puygrenier was like visiting an old friend. The hotel itself is very very beautiful and the rooms are very well equipped which should satisfy even the fussiest of travelers. Highly recommended to anyone!
Magnifique
Magnifique !!!
Très bien
ancien domaine viticole Bergeracois

Lovely old house, and immediately calming. Such peaceful surroundings-matched by the helpful and welcoming owners and staff. The food was so very good, a gastronomic delight-without any exaggeration! Very reasonably priced, and the wine, some of which was produced in their own vineyard, was just as good. Made use of the stimming pool too, although the weather was exceptionally hot during our visit. A very relaxing few days, mind and body rejuvenated we moved on to a hectic continuing family celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary! Close to the historic St Emillion town, Castillon-La-Battaille, and the myriad vineyards dotted around the hillsides and picturesque villages. A wonderful place to spend a holiday! Cannot recommended highly enough, we will return,
