We love the Four Sisters Hotels they are always old beautiful homes. Service was perfect. Location was excellent.

Lovely quirky hotel with super staff. Good breakfast and the wine hour is a nice treat. Quite a long way along the beach but easy walking. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Very kind staff. Easy parking with close access to the beach (walking distance). Lovely wine and cheese spread in the evening and morning breakfast with coffee and tea. Would recommend and will plan to stay again in the near future.

Adorable Bed and Breakfast

Adorable bed and breakfast, 5 minutes walking to the beach! Sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and having a delicious homemade breakfast, was a wonderful way to start the morning. Wine and cheese was served in the afternoon. There was a community puzzle you could work on and plenty of seating downstairs for the guests. The staff was warm and inviting and the house smelled like home baked goods. The room was big and airy and comforable. We will be back!

We had an amazing time here. The breakfast and wine hour are delicious! Compliment to the chef! She takes pride in her cooking. Location convenient to beach and freeway and PCH. Will return.

The staff at Channel Rd,a Four sisters Inn ,Sante Monica CA were fabulous,accomodating,considerate in the task to ensure that we were totally comfortable. The property was amazing and full of history. Breakfast was delicious as were the snacks and happy hour that we took advantage of at the end of each day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you kindly for your efforts in hospitality.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Santa Monica - beautiful, super clean, so comfortable and relaxing. The host was so welcoming, and we really enjoyed the wine and cheese hour as well as the delicious home-cooked breakfast. This is now THE place we stay when we're in LA.

It was an amazing stay, and everything was great - service, room, location, area, room. The only literal downside was that there was a couple of ants in the bathroom.

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the warm hospitality at the inn. This is a renovated old home in the very desirable part of Santa Monica with close access to the beach. It was a wonderful stay.

Warm, friendly, attention to every detail. Went above & beyond our expectations:) from the afternoon hors d’oeuvres when we arrived to the sumptuous breakfast in the morning. Our room had tub with jets & fireplace, nice amenities! We were in #15, formerly the family dining room, beautifully converted. Highly recommend!

Gem of a hotel

Excellent hotel. Attention to detail is second to none, and the little extra touches make all the difference and make it a home from home. Breakfasts are excellent, cheese/wine etc is fabulous, rooms comfortable and well appointed. Great location. Would go back tomorrow if we had any holidays left!

The staff were all friendly. We had a King room and it was big, bright, and comfortable. It is within walking distance to the beach and several dining options.

Quiet location in santa monica canyon. Beautiful period property with first rate rooms both spacious and well maintained. The hosts are welcoming and strive to make your stay a happy experiance. The only downside is parking, which is tight. However it is free which in SM is unusual. I stayed here last year and raved about it then. This time it did not disappoint.

Our room could have used a redo. Couch was worn out and water in bath tub was either scalding or cold. I would not stay there again.

This is a beautifully restored old home full of charm. The breakfast and baked goods are delicious. This is just a few blocks from the tunnel to the beach, but the absolutely best part of this property is the lovely women who treat you like treasured guests in their home. Amazing and wonderful

What a find! This is such a charming bed and breakfast with a staff that cares. From the delicious breakfast they prepare to the fresh warm brownies they put out in the afternoon and then the wine and cheese hours in the evening, they make you feel welcome. You can mix and mingle with the other guests in the common area or retreat to your room for peace and quiet...I would definitely stay again. And did I mention it's just a short tunnel walk to the beach?

A beautifully restored early nineteenth century home that has charm in abundance. My suite had access to its own verandah with a gas fire for chilly evenings and was decorated with flair. The suite was of ample size and the bed very comfortable. Situated in a leafy residential neighborhood, but I could walk to the middle of Ocean Ave in 20 minutes with all the restaurants and shopping available there. I can only think of one drawback as parking is rather tight.

Excellent stay at chalked road inn

Our stay could not have been more special! Our hosts were so welcoming. The house has several sitting areas, all charming and the breakfasts were incredible! Dominique created beautiful soufflés, frittatas, breads along with fresh fruits each day. Wine and cheese at 4:00 was a nice way to relax and meet the other guests, who came from all over the world. Charm, comfort, convince! We will definitely come back to Channel Road Inn

The hot breakfasts were delicious and the evening wine and cheese was a lovely way to wind down in the evening. My room was quiet and very comfortable. Two very minor complaints, the lock on the front door was very finicky and hard to work. Also I would have liked to have had an electric kettle in my room so I would not have had to go back inside to get hot water for tea before bedtime.

Great stay in Pacific Palisades

Wonderful room and staff. Everyone was friendly. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the location and its close proximity to the promenade.

The location to the beach and all of the little restaurant choices including a great coffee shop right outside not that you need it with the gourmet breakfast at the Channel Road Inn!

The Inn is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and has a very cozy lounge and sun porches. Daily Breakfast is limited to a choice of one or two items that are freshly prepared in the ktichen off of the breakfast room. The setting is an idyllic hideaway that feels like a refuge from the hurlyburly of Los Angeles and its traffic. Walkable neighborhood. Ocean nearby. Not a place to go if you want to feel you're in the center of things.

Idyllically charming

A charming little experience. I wish I was staying longer than one night. The breakfast was lovely. The shower was spacious and good pressure. The room is generous and homey with a fresh cookie on arrival. The bed perfectly medium and I love all the little nooks and crannies to sit and drink coffee. The innkeeper and chef, Dominique, is a dancer who floats around with a thoroughly charming disposition.

Hidden treasure in Santa Monica

My husband and I lived in Santa Monica years ago. A return trip was highlighted by overnight stay at Channel Road- beautiful setting, gracious hosts, delicious breakfast, superb rooms in a well kept inn with numerous sitting areas to relax. Walk 1 block to ocean.

Outstanding facility and location. Friendly staff

Dominique was an amazing soul. She made the whole stay beyond amazing. She is very kind and compassionate. She made daily fresh breakfast and always willing to help make things a better experience. She was very personable. I would go back to the property solely because of her. Property is a drive away from the Pier but there are restaurants around and loads of parking. No bother entertainment really because it is a bed and breakfast. Room was older and the shower was broken the water pressure was off but we did not complain as it still worked. Again Dominique is the reason this place is a five star

The property was great - clean and comfortable rooms, free parking and beautiful common spaces. More than anything, though, the hosts were wonderful and very thoughtful. We had to leave before breakfast the day we checked out, and the host gave us some biscotti to go on the road. Great hospitality overall.

The women running the inn were incredible: kind, cheerful, organized and excellent communicators. Food was delicious. Our bathroom had a few issues that could easily be resolved—lack of privacy, faucets that turn the wrong way, etc.

Very quiet location with easy parking, which are both hard to find in Santa Monica. Very easy walk to the beach and fairly easy walk up the hill to Ocean Ave atop the Santa Monica cliff.

This is a charming inn, with warm, inviting common spaces, and clean, comfortable rooms. The staff are exceptional — friendly, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast (fresh soufflé, baked goods, yogurt, granola, fruit daily) and afternoon wine and cheese are wonderful. Great location one block from the beach. Highly recommend.

This was my first time using a bed and breakfast and it was an amazing experience!

Low-key, old-fashioned and personal bed and breakfast. Super comfortable, lovely staff, and wonderful home-cooked breakfasts. Complimentary wine and cheese picnics were the perfect snack after a swim — the beach is right around the corner.

Excellent location and a beautiful property with nice rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent.

This property is a 100 year old 14 room mansion... it creeks and squeaks...in the most magical ways. The staff feel like family... I love it... so much... If you are looking for new modern cookie cutter rooms... this will not do. But charm, elegance, comfort and history is thru the roof.

Great stay! Cozy room, gorgeous bathroom. Just far enough from the Pacific Coast Highway for quiet, close enough to walk to the beach (near PCH, stairs to underground tunnel), short drive or 40ish min walk to Santa Monica pier

Four Sister’s Inns make a trip both memorable and special. The Channel Road Inn near the coast in Santa Monica is a beautiful, cozy and welcoming home that wraps you up in comfort, feeding your eyes and your stomach with delight. Treat yourself!
