The property Is beautiful and very pleasant to stay at, however they may be short staffed or overworked, as the service was not up to the standard of the room rate. Our food was late, sometimes cold.

Awesome service in a great location. Maybe a bit ‘young’ for some people’s taste but we loved it.

Cervo had a high rating on many platforms but we were very disapointed in which condition we found this place. The hotel was not ready for our arrival, e.g. construction work was on going, ski room was not opened yet, dust everywhere incl.our room, from 5 restaurants/bars on the webpage only 1-2 opened, room cleaning only by request and not even properly done, restaurants reservations were mixed up several times. Despite nice design, beautiful spa area, nice food and good selection of wines, the place seemed poorly run and we felt that the hotel did not meet the 5* standard.

CERVO is the best of Zermatt

This was our first trip to Zermatt. From the moment we walked in we felt special. Our room had a perfect view of the Matterhorn and could not have been more comfortable. From the daily stocking of Swiss beer in the fridge to the heated floors in the bathroom everything was perfect. Our meal at Puro was the best of our trip - the food and service were legendary. The location is wonderful with access by elevator and tunnel just outside of the center of town. Do yourself a favor and stay here!!

Fantastic property in one of the location in Zermatt! Staff are absolutely fantastic and so nice! The food including the breakfast is absolutely delicious! Everything is taken care of to the details! I would definitely come back again.

The staff are outstanding, the restaurant is great and very popular so make sure to book your table. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with great views from the balcony.

Loved Cervo!

Cervo is the BEST place to stay in Zermatt. Everything was perfect. Not only they had great service, but also their breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Terrace had an amazing view. There was an elevator going down to Zermatt-Sunnegga station. We had a wonderful time at Cervo and would stay here again next time we visit Zermatt.

Potential... not perfect

-some problems at the start of our stay (transfer didn’t pick us up for a long time and I had to call them as a reminder to send someone as they had most likely forgotten or other priorities) -great room (spa suite) with a wirlpool outside that offers an amazing view of the Matterhorn -room hasen’t been cleaned on the second day after we were gone skiing for the day -staff are generally very friendly but don’t seem to take resonsibility for anything -reminders from our side were often necessary for things to get done. This is extremely frustrating over time. For example our baggage to be brought to the room or turndown service to be done on one of the nights. Both took calls to the front desk to get it sorted -breakfast ist amazing with great service by the whole team -dinner at the restaurant Ferdinand was also extremely nice For the missteps above, no apology by someone in charge was ever offered to us. I am not sure if these points weren’t passed on or what their way of dealing with such incidents is. The hotel has a lot to offer but needs to work on these points.

Zermatt’s best!

Attention to every detail. Such a beautifully-designed space with staff that went the extra mile on multiple occasions to personalize my stay. Daily special events and a top-notch restaurant mean you dont necessarily have to wander far. The breakfast, by the way, is stellar. Modern, spotless wellness center in each chalet, featuring hot tub, sauna, meditation lounge, shower and restroom. Views of the Matterhorn!

Design hotel offering both tranquility & action

The hotel Cervo is a “design hotel” located just above the entrance to the Sunegga funicular and a 5-10 minute walk into the main town area. More then a hotel it is a group of chalets. The first acts as the communal area (restaurant/bar); the rest of the chalets constitute the guest rooms. Each chalet (assuming they are all similar to ours) has a spa area - with sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. Our room was large - minimalist in decor - but very comfortable. Three large floor to ceiling windows provided us with a fantastic view of the mountains. We had a standard room so no view of the Matterhorn, however, breathtaking nonetheless. Tea and coffee facilities were included as well as a free mini bar with some soft drinks and beer. Bottled water was provided every day as well as little “gifts” with turn down (chocolates/cookies and the such). The bathroom included a bath and shower with Molton Brown toiletries. The breakfast was served in the main building and was delicious with both buffet and a la carte (eggs, pancakes, French toast...) option. This hotel is perfect for those who want to be close to the action, with plenty going on (the hotel has good apres ski facilities as it is located on the main piste down from sunegga and above) whilst maintaining the peace and tranquility of being further up the mountain in very comfortable surrounds. Our one complaint (which we flagged to the hotel) is that out of our 7 day stay the jacuzzi was in operation two evenings.

Beautiful room/location, top quality service, fantastic food. Utmost attention to detail, we loved every minute.

Fantastic location

The all too short stay at this excellent establishment was fantastic. A few little issues did not detract from the overall experience. My partner and I ate at their in house restaurant and it's safe to say that the food was to die for. The service, amenities, and of course location with magnificent views of the Matterhorn are the cherry on top.

Hospitality personified with a magnificent view.

Charming and lovely staff. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. On the day of our departure we went touring and they met us at the train station with our luggage. Beautiful location, marvelous food. We would love to return.

A superb resort hotel!

A beautiful setting, very friendly staff, and superb environs (one "wall" of our room was a picture window onto the Matterhorn), Our one concern was the very pricey restaurant, although the food was excellent, as was the wait staff.

Outstanding

I stayed at CERVO for two nights with my teenaged son. With the minor exception of a none too private bathroom ( slatted doors, no ceiling ) it was perfect - one of the finest lodgings I've ever had - and I've stayed in some pretty nice places! The view of the Matterhorn from our room was absolutely amazing, the beds were luxurious, the bathroom spa-like, the staff friendly and familiar, but very professional, and the food amazing. I will go back as soon as I can!

Beyond our expectations - highly recommend

This new hotel, recently renovated from an existing family chalet, cleverly combines high tech innovations with organic warmth by utilizing natural resources. The staff created an intimate atmoshper and always ready to ensure our comfort. The dining was foodies delight. This hotel should set the standards for the twenty-first century

The best hotel experience in Swiss!

We absolutely loved our stay at CERVO. The view, the food, the quality of the room, the amazing staff, the wonderful spa, the list goes on and on.. It’s a funny feeling because I want CERVO to be visited by everyone visiting Zermatt, but I also wish this very special place to be a secret!! ;) Anyhow, I would recommend this place with 10 out of 10 rating, it’s just AMAZING. We had burgers delivered to our room on the first night and they were so delicious!

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit schönem Blick aufs Matterhorn. Tolles Frühstück. Zimmer sehr komfortabel, leider etwas hellhörig zu den Nachbarn. Super tolles Team im Hotel. Management kümmert sich mustergültig um die Gäste. Sehr schöner SPA Bereich, freuen uns darauf wieder zu kommen.

Hôtel favori à Zermatt!

Nous avons passé 2 séjours au CERVO pendant cette saison : c’est définitivement notre hôtel favori à Zermatt ! L’accueil, l’emplacement, la déco tout comme le personnel sont au top. Les chambres disposent d’une vue sur le Cervin. Le spa après une journée de ski est super. Nous avons également mangé dans les trois restaurants qui sont tous aussi bons les uns que les autres. On y reviendra !

Super nettes Personal, sehr professionell und immer disponibel für Wünsche oder anliegen. Hotel ist sehr schön, super Ambiente und Kulinarisch wird man verwöhnt. Zimmer Super ausstattung, schöne Aussicht und Sauber. Wir werden wieder kommen 👌

Hotel descolado e chic

O hotel é uma graça. Super charmoso e funcionários muito atenciosos. Tem uma pegada super descolada, com um bar para “après bike” no verão, que recebe vários ciclistas que acabaram de descer da montanha. Para o inverno, me pareceu bem pratico pois vc está na boca do lift (um trem) que leva até o topo da montanha. As pistas terminam neste ponto também. O restaurante do hotel é super bem avaliado. O hotel fica a 10mins de caminhada do centrinho.

迎えの車を予約をしていなかったが、氷河特急到着時間にホテルの車が待っていたので乗せてもらえた(これに乗っていなかったらたどり着けなかったかも)。マッターホルンを真正面に見られる眺望抜群のロケーション。部屋もアップグレードしてもらえ、朝食も美味しく、スタッフも親切で、最高の滞在となった。ツエルマット駅からは遠いかと思っていたが、ホテルの前にエレベーターがあり、それでスネガケーブルカー乗り場に行け、駅にも数分で辿り着いた。是非、もう一度泊まりたいホテルだ。
