The description is over exaggerated. The place is clean but old. Towels were old. Breakfast was good. If you are looking for a cheap stay then this place is for you. I would rather pay a few more $. There's not much in the area other than by the marina, approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Close to airport

Lovely place, friendly, respective & understanding staff. Clean & quiet.

Liked the staff and the included breakfast. If the sliding doors had screens on them it would have been even better

friendly staff! nice breakfast is included, and there is cafeteria-style dinner option to purchase if you want. close to marina. area felt safe. some rooms have nice view of the city. there are two buses that run about hourly (#211 and 31) to the centre of town--but you have to buy a transit card at the main downtown terminal (no cash fares)

I particularly like the friendly staff and warm hospitality. The property was a mirror of its online presence.

The hostel is one of the best I have stayed. The room was large, as well as the bathroom. The furnitures were very convenient end, finally, the cafeteria was terrific. The breakfast was gorgeous.

The staff went above and beyond , I stayed for 11 days and one guy even gave me his evening meal when I stupidly had forgotten to order . Brilliant

During this time of COVID, I was particularly impressed by two things: the friendliness/professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of my room/bathroom. WIFI reception was excellent, and I would happily return to stay at Centre International de Sejour.

Très bien, lit confortable, douche de qualité, staff agréable. La seule chose que nous n’avons pas apprécié est que nous pouvions seulement avoir une personne à la fois pour avoir accès au wifi dans la chambre.

I booked this place for an overnight layover so was not here long, but the room was very clean and relatively comfortable with basic amenities. Check-in was easy and friendly!

Good one night stay

Room was clean and spacious. Staff wasn’t the friendliest but it may have been the language barrier. It’s a little far from transportation if you don’t have a car.

The staff was awesome, very helpful. I found it to be a distance from the city centre and there are no shops located nearby. I found the WiFi spotty at times but overall it was a great experience. I would stay there again if i was not a 'waterbaby'......need to be closer to the beach!

Quiet dorm-style room

Staff was kind and helpful. Generous breakfast available. It's between airport and Fort-de-France in a relatively quiet neighborhood. There is a bus from the roundabout that takes you into town. Bus only operates until early evening.

Food was great. Comfortable hotet, comfortable room. Hotel staff excellent. The only issue was AC did not work properly

Nice hotel, pleasant and clean, close to the marina. Cafeteria type restaurant is practical, albeit a bit expensive.

Quiet location

It was a relaxing time. My wife and I enjoyed it. Only reproach are the beds that are singles. They can invest in double beds.

This excellent hotel is near the airport to help with those awful early flight situations..Room was moderate size well laid out and functional..Basic boutique type room but the staff is the real treasure. Plus the food at the restaurant on premise was some of the best we had in Martinique..We had a 5 AM wake up knock on the door which avoided a disaster since out alarm clock failed....Ten minutes from the airfield...Hotel booked the taxi..English spoken and very responsible staff. 100%...

This place is for collage students reason being is that its 2 twin bed which is fine with me but the bathroom is beyond weird because its a walk in shower that dont have any shower curtain and they dont give wash cloth me and my friend have to put towels down on the floor or esle water would be every where thank god we were only there for 2 days i find it very weird that breakfast is free but if you decide to take it with you, you have to pay for it i wouldnt recommend this place to any adults but i would definitely go to Martinique again.

Overnight budget hotel near airport

Arrived in Martinique at night and wanted a hotel close to the airport before going to a resort hotel the next morning. Got lost on way to hotel as the roads are confusing and everything is in French. Hotel is very basic. Two twin beds in our room with only one TV channel in English. For a quick one night stay hotel is fine. Would not recommend for a longer stay..

I had a good time. It is a quiet and safe place. Easy transportation. Traveling by bus is better than taxi.

Good price for money, located in a buisness area, convenient for buisness trip, not for vacations...

Nice hotel for the price

The front desk staff all spoke some English so they were very helpful. Breakfast had fresh fruits. Only downside would be that the sheets were not replaced for the whole week we stayed.

The stay was nice, the food is good, the breakfast is very nice. Pity was no hair dryer in the hotel at all. That was very inconvenient

Located relatively close to airport

We selected this hotel for one night because of its proximity to the airport. It's not in a very aesthetic neighborhood and somewhat hard to find, but It was relatively convenient, quiet, clean--very much like a good college dormitory room. Free secured parking. The included breakfast had a lot of options. Staff was very helpful. Expedia said that the hotel desk only stayed open for check-in until 9:00p.(21:00h); actually it is staffed and open 24/7. Late at night you press the buzzer and the clerk opens the gate for you to drive in. Once you check in you will be given a card to open another gate for entry into the parking garage. The hotel would have been perfect for us except we could not access wireless, a real problem for us. It appears that you need to have a European phone number in order to get online (apparently, a service charge is made to that number). There is one computer terminal available near the desk for internet access. We ended up going to McDonald's (open at 10:00h) for free wi-fi.

Hotel location for business

I have been staying at this hotel every once a year for many years now. It's location is ideal for business purposes. The staff all round the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was included in my rate is very good. Lunch and dinner offer good choice and is very reasonably priced.

Paradise of delicious meal

Quite fantastic. Food is served on time. You don't have to wait on queue. Varieties of food and different fruits available as part of breakfast. The buffet style gives you free option to choose whatever you want out of many available options. Staff are very friendly and multilingual. They have a great gymnasium.

All I can say is that my stay in this hotel was great. I have no complaints about the hotel or the staff.

Nice hotel to relax

it was great,no English channels on the television and WiFi broke down on the second day but i was able to connect to a LAN cable.transport is impossible on Sundays and almost on Saturday,just wait for the 211 or the 31 and you are on your way to town. their are no iron in the room so walk with yours if you can,the room i stayed in was two single beds so make sure u ask for exactly what you want.the food is excellent and so is the kitchen staff not forgetting the front desk personnel they are perfect for the job.i must commend the HR manager for hiring a staff well suited for this industry.i will recommend this hotel to anyone...by the way i am planning to visit next year and there i am gonna stay...see you soon c.i.s..and thank you for a fantastic time:-)

Would not recommend this hotel.

Spent 4 nights 11-14 August 2015. Hotel very basic but clean. Had two disappointing experiences: 1. The WiFi stopped working on Thursday morning and was told that the problem could not be rectified until the following Monday. In this day and age who wants to stay in a hotel where there is no access to the internet? 2. Received very poor service from a man at reception who insisted that I must speak French or Creole, since I could not explain myself in my limited Creole, he proceeded to hang up the phone and did so repeatedly, every time I called back; eventually he would not answer the phone and was very rude when I came down to reception. Of course by then I was angry and that did not help the situation! I had a problem with the air conditioning system in my room, the on/off switch would not work and the room was freezing! He eventually came up (took his time to) and the room was changed. When he came up another guest in the next room came out to see what the loud talking was about and he proceed to abuse me. In between the abusive words hurled at me, the other guest informed that the man from reception had been attending to him when I was calling and that was why he did not answer the phone,. He also said that the reception man was not paid to attend to maintenance issues. WOW! All of this was being said while the reception man stood by and smirked. Will never patronize this hotel again or recommend it to anyone...

Great staff very helpful.the location was great too just off of busy fort de France. Breakfast was a little confusing guess it was cause of the French layout.other than that great trip

In FdF m.E. Das mit Abstand beste Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Last Minute auch noch leckeres Abendessen für 10€ mit Getränk bekommen - schier unglaublich in FdF! Dank Mietwagen auch schnell im Zentrum. Nur mit ÖPNV etwas schwieriger.

J’étais en transit pour la marina juste en bas. C’était parfait pour ça. Autrement, l’endroit est pratique, propre, tout est convenable sans être luxueux, mais pas à proximité des activités de vacances comme telles. Ce à quoi je m’attendais du quartier aussi. Il faut impérativement une voiture. C'est à côté du Centre-Ville et stratégiquement bien situé sur l’île.

La chambre était propre, mais très basique. Le déjeuner inclus était très bien

J’étais de passage seulement pour une nuit, en transit vers Ste-Lucie. Endroit parfait pour moi! J’ai pu y souper relax, aller marcher jusqu’à la Marina, et déjeuner avant de repartir... Bel endroit, bonne bouffe, personnel courtois et serviable. Je recommande !

Chambre fonctionnel. Lit une place. Salle de bain qui aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Pas de rideau pour la douche, sol automatiquement trempé. Personnel à l'écoute.

My fellow travelers that wrote that this hotel is too far from everything and that you need a car to enjoy Martinique are completely wrong..! Buses are available and 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Cheap rides to Fort-De-France from where you can take the ferry or other buses to different corners of Martinique. No need for a car and the stress to drive in narrow roads! What makes "Le Centre International de Sejour" (CIS) a great option is the amazing staff -without exception- that are very helpfull and professional. Breakfast is great with healthy choices and included in the price. The hotel serves also lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this hotel. However, if you are looking for a resort with amenities, Le CIS is not the best choice.

Établissement moyen à tout point de vue, austère et peu chaleureux heureusement propre. Restaurant ressemblant à une cantine, chambres monacales. Situation dans un quartier résidentiel / administratif isolé, aucun commerce ni service à proximité, véhicule obligatoire. L’accueil sauve heureusement la mise.

Tres bon sejour.

Nous avons séjourné le 13 et 27 janvier 2020. L’acceuil y est excellent du hall de l’hotel au snack, le personnel toujours souriant et tres agreable.. Pour l’hébergement les chambres ne sont pas au top, mais elles sont propres, Les salles d’eau auraient besoin du petit coup de remise en état, (colonnes de douches très vetustes et en mauvais état) Ch 201 et 506. Parfois bruyant en fonction de l’emplacement de la chambre..exemple la 506 bruits nocturne sur toit du au fonctionnement des moteurs de climatisation... Ce petit problème est compensé par la gentillesse du personnel..

Hôtel, propre, bien équipé, mais sobre, très bien situé (proche de la ville et des principaux lieux d’intérêts ergonomique de la Martinique), doté d'un rapport qualité prix très important et d'un personnel agréable. L’hôtel dispose d'un restaurant avec des plats locaux à un prix abordable

L'accueil est sympathique malgré notre arrivée tardive. L'accès au parking au sous-sol nous a été ouvert pour sécuriser notre voiture de location. Les infos pour le séjour nous ont fournies correctement. L'endroit était difficile à trouver quand même
