It’s one of those hotels that looks nice outside but horrible inside. The design of the hotel, where the elevators are located in between stairs, is mind boggling. You still need to carry your luggages either up or down a flight of stairs reach your room. The room, while adequate in size, is in need of a reno or update. Some of the lights are broken. The bathroom tile grout is dirty, showers clogged with calcium deposits, hand shower holder is broken as well. The property really is in need of repair. The upside is, it is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood with a great view of the mountains. Parking is big. It is also very near the Ephesus Museum, Ephesus, Home of Virgin Mary and Kusadasi. Unless the property is renovated, I won’t be a repeat customer.

Just great stay...

The hotel is a quiet residential area of Selcuk. A short walk to The Temple of Artemis and Museum of EFES. It is quite easy to get to by car (except for the day we arrived, there is a road work nearby and our Apple Map got confused and repeatly directed us into the blocked road) The hotel is well decorated. The owner is friendly. I would recommend this hotel. Selcuk is a good place to visit. Ephesus is nearby and the town itself is quiet and walkable. The street is wide.

Buen lugar, excelente ubicacion para visitar efesos y kusadasi Personal amigable Hassan y el otro señor muy amables y diligentes con problema que no se relacionó con el hotel. Desayuno bueno , eso sí sin frutas y jugo muy básico Baño con descarga de agua permanente Mosquitos muy molestos. Creo sera buena idea contar con aerosol antimosquitos.

Although a 5-10 minute walk to town it was well worth it. Nice and quiet, lovely pool to cool off in on a hot day. The breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice and very fresh and tasty. Most of all though the staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Selcuk.

Home away home! Thanks Hassan for your excellent help to make my stay memorable. This is not a hotel easy to find while you are staying in Effesus. Great food and quite. Had good rest while I had arrived exhausted.

The property itself is good, the staff was very friendly however the property is located in a very quiet area and somewhat remote. It is not walkable. The bathrooms provided no privacy and I feel this is more suitable for a couple.

We loved the pool area and the cabana. We enjoyed spending the afternoon out there. The breakfast buffet was the same every morning, but there is so much variety!

Very clean very interesting decor. Breakfast the best we've had in Turkey staying at 8 different hotels. If you have a car this is perfect because there is private parking, it is quiet in a hectic town, very close to the main archaeological attractions. Good Wi-Fi, good shower pressure, great breakfast with eggs made to order.

From check in to check out, the staff was willing to go above and beyond. Nothing was a problem. Mr Hussan was of great help when my credit card was stolen. He communicated with me and we got a new payment planned. Beautiful breakfast. Highly recommend. Close to town with restaurants.

Lovely boutique hotel 10 minutes walk from restaurants and the archaeology museum and St John's Basilica. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Hassan. Breakfast buffet is superb with a variety of delicious food. The hotel is clean and well run. Highly recommended!

Would not stay here again. We were put in a penthouse room. Room had a low angled ceiling, bed to the ground, no sofa to sit. Had to lay suitcases on the ground. If you stood up your head would hit the ceiling. Toilet had no door or privacy. The only consolation was the Lovely dining area and the breakfast.

Marvelous hotel!

Marvelous hotel! While it’s a hotel, it has the warmth and charm of a bed and breakfast. It has a wonderful country feel since it is next to beautiful orchards and vineyards. There is a path leading from the hotel through the vineyards that takes you to the Ephesus ruins entrance (see photo). It is also about a 10 minute walk from other attractions such as the Ephesus museum and just a little further for St. John’s Basilica. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was both abundant and delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Selcuk!

Hazan was very welcome and make us feel like home. The suite room was great. Included breakfast was delicious; they asked how we would like our eggs. In general the hotel is very good.

This is an excellent small boutique hotel, located 15 min walk from centre of Selcuk. Hassan and Cagser are very hospitable hosts. They quickly sorted out an Expedia booking error (our fault) in a few minutes. Unfortunately no sauna or spa during Ramadan and Eid holidays. Breakfast v good.

I didn’t like there wasn’t light above the mirror in a bathroom and next to the bad on right side. My son couldn’t read in the evening before sleeping.

Spa its not working...

Wonderful stay. We loved every minute. Excellent staff who goes above and beyond. The breakfast was far delicious. Mr. Sukru and Mr. Hasan helped with everything from arranging our tour to helping get taxi. In our last night there was bad winds that was making much noise in our room, they moved us to a different lovely room that was not as noisy. Would highly recommend it anyone and will stay again when I am here.

The room we booked was very spacious. The air conditioner didn't really work but we were there in late October so we just opened the balcony door. The toilet seat didn't completely cover the whole toilet :( Other than that everything was very good.

Hassan was a great manager. He welcomed us and provided excellent service including local knowledge and awareness of our requirements. He was happy bright and a wonderful resource for our brief stay.

We had stayed multiple times that the Cella and have enjoyed it each time. This time sleep was a little harder because of barking dogs, but the very comfortable bed made up for that. The hospitality is warm, the breakfast is wonderful, and the ease of parking and proximity to the ancient sites makes for wonderful location. One thing I would appreciate would be espresso drinks for breakfast

Very nice small hotel close to Efes. Hospitality on very high level, very clean. Stong recomendation. Only complain is made is not changing towels daily, once even put again towel from the floor. However, reception is working professionally and with no question at all, after their warning everything was perfect. Also, only instant coffie is available on breakfast.

Great hotel, a little far from the city center, my room is right under the roof, and one side of the bed is quite difficult to get on due to the slanted roof and my height. But the bed is huge so that’s ok. Otherwise great hotel.

It is a excellent hotel

It is close to the Ephesus South Gate Parking Lot. The hotel is a very clean building. The room has windows on two sides and a terrace with a nice view. The floor is very clean and the bathroom is nice. Breakfast is great. Delicious coffee, bread, butter, cream cheese, ham, olives, jam and honey, fresh vegetables and egg dishes. The only downside is that the heater sound is a little loud.

Cella Boutique Hotel

Third time we have stayed at this hotel and we love it! Definitely an excellent find for us 8 years ago and we will go back although some signs of wear and tear starting to show - fixtures broken and in disrepair i.e. sunbeds, door handles, hairdryer and towels had seen much better days. Sadly it is ageing and it is showing now needs some TLC but still a fabulous hotel. Our room didn't have the soap and items expected for turkish bath which we had been provided with on previous days and no coffee pods as expected. All day snacks and spa no longer available and this was disappointing. Breakfast choices limited compared to previous years?

Great rooms. Hot water a problem in the morning due to solar heating. 5 minute walk to ephesus. Good breakfast with limited vegan options. Highlight of this place is proximity and beautiful rooms very tastefully decorated.

Good hotel but very poor service

Had a bad stay this week at Cella. While the hotel room had good amenities , the hotel had poor services to offer for an international customer. Here are the list of issues - - the manager did not understand proper English. We had a tough time to get our requests addressed to even after we were willing to pay more - no vegetarian options in breakfast. One had to feel contended with bread and butter only - basic amenities like toiletries (tooth paste, brush) weren’t available - AC wasnt controllable within the room. One had to inform the receptionist to change it everytime which is extremely pathetic - the hotel had cycles to offer but when asked the manager mentioned that none of them were working which seemed to be a lie Overall disappointing experience. Would recommend to avoid it if you are a foreigner who doesn’t know Turkish.

This hotel was very nice, one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at and a great price. Pretty good location: a reasonable walk from train/bus station in Selcuk and Selcuk sites, a pretty long walk to Ephesus but mostly through scenic peaceful farmland. Staff was very helpful.

The staff greeted us when we pulled into the parking lot. Very friendly. The hotel was lovely. Room was very large & nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good too. Would definitely stay again!

The management was very helpful, meeting us at our car to take our bags to our rooms. Hotel was in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to orchards, just 2 km from Ephesus Archaeological Site.

Location of hotel was in a nice quiet residential area, very peaceful. Room was large and comfortable and had an amazing view of the peach trees and mountains! Our 4 night stay at Cella Boutique Hotel was a wonderful experience, in every way. Each of the staff were very welcoming and helpful; the location was perfect; We were able to walk to plenty of restaurants, shopping, transportation, and even to Ephesus. The breakfast served each morning was plentiful and delicious and was a great start to the day. Our room was super clean and comfortable, the balcony overlooked peach orchards and mountains…so pretty! We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Ephesus/Selcuk. We hope to visit again, thank you for all of your hospitality!

Refreshing.

Very close to Efes and easy to access from this hotel. You may feel a little remote but Kusadasi is only 20km away. If you need nightlife head back to Kusadasi. Good to stop here to adjust to the historical surroundings. Clean, new and well maintained, comfortable.

Not a fan of black and red sheets, but we enjoyed our stay in Cella hotel nonetheless. Everyone working there was nice, and Dünya and Abraham were particularly helpful and accomodating. Tea and cookies were always available and

If you plan to come to Selcuk to visit the Ephesus ruins, this is the best hotel to stay. Beautiful modern hotel with a classical touch, exceptionally clean, just a short distance to the ruins (you can walk there too). And a few minutes walk to the town for food and stuff. There's a nice fish restaurant you won't miss it. But the best thing this hotel has to offer is the family welcome feel you get once you arrive. Ibrahim and Gul and team will make you feel at home at all times. Breakfast is sumptuous and the kitchen team will make eggs to your liking. Overall an exceptionally awesome stay at Cella

It was a pleasant surprise when we checked into this hotel. This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood yet close to Ephesus Museum. We drove there and parked the car in front of the hotel. we were greeted by friendly front desk and got help to get our luggage into the room. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was really good.

Amazing but short stay wish we could have stayed longer. The people were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. Beautiful , clean hotel and only a 6 minute drive from the ruins.

Exceptional!!

The Cella in Selcuk is so lovely! First of all, you can't beat the location for visiting Ephesus, it's only a few minutes away. The service is excellent and we absolutely enjoyed our sauna rooms. The decor and atmosphere are well thought out. We even lounged by the pool with snacks and drinks one afternoon after a morning touring. The entire staff is exceptional and we highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel near St John’s Basilica. Everything is nice and super clean. But the best thing is the service. They helped us with everything: luggage, ordering dinner from a restaurant as the restaurants were only offering delivery service, organizing our tours, etc. Breakfast was delicious. Very very recommendable!

Beautiful luxury rooms very close to all the major tourist attractions in Ephesus. We booked the penthouse suite which was in the loft with a low ceiling, hotel were quick to offer to relocate us to a standard room which was stunning - beautifully furnished, spacious, luxurious with a balcony looking out on downtown Ephesus. Highly recommend this property.

We had a fantasic stay at the Cella. The staff were all excellant and very helpful. The hotel was absolutely spotless, breakfast was very good with a huge selection of food. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Cella to our friends

A great little hotel in a very quiet and peaceful location but still just a 10 minutes walk to nearby restaurants. Beautiful room and friendly helpful staff. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We were in town to visit the ruins and the house of Mary. We stayed at Bella for one night. The people at the place took time to show us their facility and our names. They offered us drinks while they processed our paperwork. They took us into our room and set the air and showed us the lighting. The service there at the breakfast is fantastic. We would definitely highly recommend the establishment to .

Amazing place. The staff were beyond helpful; they would do anything to make your stay better or seemed! A great place to relax after a day of history seeking! Massages were available for very good value. We were here on honeymoon and the small touches they added to make the stay better were incredibly thoughtful. Very highly recommended. We promise we will come back one day with our child!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed it! It was very clean, had excellent WiFi, and was very quiet. The hotel staff is friendly and very accommodating.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful. The owner even drove us to the bus stop and waited with us. The breakfast was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

A true boutique hotel experience. The hotel gives you a warm feeling with tranquil views. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean with fresh linen and luxury branded toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of cereals , fresh and dried fruit, nuts, breads, cheeses, salmon, cold meats, pastries and organic eggs made the way you like. The service and staff is what we appreciated the most.Ever willing to assists and make the stay comfortable. Extremely polite yet professional. Mr Ali , Mustafa and all the staff are amazing hosts. The hotel is in a great location and is 5 min from the train station. Ephesus is a 5 min drive away. Loved the hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting selcuk.

It was amazing! Excellent hotel with super friendly staff, provide support to us during our stay (eg, fetch us to tourist spot and transfer us to airport transfer destination). Strongly recommended if you visit Selcuk. Worth it!

Amazing hotel and decor, the rooms are beautifully designed and finished. Most notably the staff (Mustafa, Ali and the chef) are the most warmest hosts you will ever meet, they go over and beyond the level of service you’d expect from a hotel. A must stay and a stones throw away from Ephesus and local attractions.

My wife and I loved this hotel. The manager is an extremely nice guy. He even drove us short distances so we would not have to walk. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was excellent. It is not easy to find, but worth finding. Wonderful hotel.
